Abstract
Description
Field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a portable vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner has a carrying strap for carrying the vacuum cleaner. Technical background
[0002] Conventional vacuum cleaners with casters that rest on the floor are typically moved by the user pulling on the suction tube or hose. This can cause problems when cleaning hard-to-reach areas. Therefore, vacuum cleaners have been developed that allow the vacuum cleaner to be carried without the user having to use one hand. Such vacuum cleaners are referred to below as "portable vacuum cleaners."
[0003] Portable vacuum cleaners have the advantage of being particularly suitable for cleaning hard-to-reach areas such as stairs, car seats, or tight spaces. They are easily transportable, so you can take them anywhere you want to use them.
[0004] Portable vacuum cleaners are known in the prior art that have a carrying strap, for example, for carrying over the shoulder. Furthermore, both mains-powered and battery-powered portable backpack vacuum cleaners are known that can be comfortably worn like a backpack. With the carrying strap or a backpack system, such a portable vacuum cleaner can be carried while leaving both of the user's hands free, for example, to operate a suction tube or hose or the like of the vacuum cleaner.
[0005] A potential disadvantage of popular portable vacuum cleaners is that handling them as floor vacuums can be complicated by the carrying system, as straps, for example, hang loose on the device or have to be removed. Removing the carrying system is time-consuming and can be laborious or annoying. There's also the risk of detached straps or similar items getting lost. Technical task
[0006] Based on the prior art, it is an object of the present invention to provide a portable vacuum cleaner that is improved over the prior art. In particular, the vacuum cleaner should have a carrying strap that can be stored inside the vacuum cleaner housing. Solution to the task
[0007] According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided a portable vacuum cleaner according to claim 1. Further aspects of the invention are subject of the dependent claims, the following description of embodiments and the accompanying drawings. Preferred embodiments of the invention
[0008] Advantageous training and further education, which can be used individually or in combination, are the subject of the dependent claims.
[0009] A portable vacuum cleaner according to the invention is equipped with a housing, a carrying strap for carrying the vacuum cleaner, and a first belt retractor arranged on the housing for retracting the carrying strap. The carrying strap is attached at least at a first end of the carrying strap to the first belt retractor and thus also indirectly to the housing of the vacuum cleaner. Another or second end of the carrying strap can be attached directly to the housing of the vacuum cleaner or connected to the housing of the portable vacuum cleaner by means of an intermediate device, such as a second belt retractor. In both cases, the carrying strap is connected to the housing of the vacuum cleaner or attached to this housing.
[0010] According to a preferred embodiment, the vacuum cleaner comprises a second belt retractor arranged on the housing for winding up the carrying strap. A second end of the carrying strap is attached to the second belt retractor. In other words, the carrying strap is wound up from both ends by two belt retractors. The advantage of this design is, on the one hand, that the carrying strap can be wound up and unwound symmetrically from both ends. In particular, a user can grasp the carrying strap in the wound-up state at an accessible section and pull it out evenly without the strap running through the user's hands. When released, the rewinding can also be particularly even. On the other hand, the use of two belt retractors also ensures that the carrying strap can be wound up if one of the two belt retractors cannot fully fulfill its winding function for any reason.
[0011] The first belt retractor and / or the second belt retractor can preferably each have a clamping device for locking the carrying strap. The clamping device can be configured to block the unwinding or rewinding of the carrying strap in a first locked state and to enable it in a second state. This allows the unrolled length of the carrying strap to be adjusted by first pulling it out, similar to, for example, a seat belt in a car, and then fixed by a sudden pull.
[0012] The first belt retractor, in particular, has an axle for winding up the carrying strap. The first end of the carrying strap is preferably attached to the axle. Similarly, the second belt retractor can have an axle for winding up the carrying strap, with the second end of the carrying strap being attached to the axle. Preferably, the axle is rotatably mounted at both ends in a sleeve of the belt retractor.
[0013] The first belt retractor and the second belt retractor preferably each have a spring operatively connected to the axle. The spring preferably causes the carrying strap to retract automatically. In particular, the spring can be a coil spring that is tensioned when the carrying strap is unwound. When the carrying strap is retracted, the energy stored in the spring can be used to rotate the axle to retract the carrying strap.
[0014] The first belt retractor and / or the second belt retractor preferably each have two springs that are operatively connected to the axle. The two springs are arranged concentrically around the two ends of the axle, for example, and can cause the carrying strap to retract automatically. The concentric arrangement of the springs at the ends of the axle ensures particularly stable and flawless function of the springs in conjunction with the axle.
[0015] The carrying strap can preferably have a length of 40 cm to 160 cm. The length is particularly preferably 50 cm to 120 cm, in particular 100 cm, although these values are only examples.
[0016] The carrying strap can preferably be completely enclosed in the housing when rolled up. This protects the carrying strap from external influences when rolled up and does not interfere with the vacuum cleaner's normal use, for example, when it is not being carried or when the vacuum cleaner is being carried by a handle on the housing.
[0017] In an alternative design, a section of the carrying strap rests on a part of the housing when rolled up, for example, a carrying handle located on the housing. A section of the carrying strap is accessible from the outside to allow the carrying strap to be unwound at any time.
[0018] According to a preferred embodiment, the carrying strap can have a loop for pulling and unrolling the carrying strap. The loop can preferably be arranged at a center of the carrying strap. When the carrying strap is rolled up, the loop is preferably arranged outside the housing. The loop facilitates gripping and pulling out or unrolling the carrying strap.
[0019] According to a preferred embodiment, the vacuum cleaner can have two carrying straps. This allows the vacuum cleaner to be carried like a backpack, for example, which can make it easier to use the vacuum cleaner, for example, when vacuuming stairs.
[0020] A preferred vacuum cleaner includes a carrying handle. The first belt retractor and / or the second belt retractor can preferably be arranged on the carrying handle. According to a preferred embodiment, the carrying strap, when rolled up, can lie completely in a recess in the carrying handle or can disappear into the recess of the carrying handle. This can facilitate use of the vacuum cleaner because the user can carry it by the carrying handle without the carrying strap getting in the way. Brief description of the drawings
[0021] Further advantageous embodiments are described in more detail below with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings, to which the invention is not limited, however.
[0022] They show schematically: Figure 1 Fig. 1a and 1b each show a perspective view of a vacuum cleaner according to the invention with a carrying strap. Figure 2shows an enlarged perspective view of a part of the vacuum cleaner from Fig. 1 . Figure 3 shows a sectional view through the handle of the vacuum cleaner from Fig. 2 . Figure 4 shows another sectional view through the handle of the vacuum cleaner from Fig. 2 Figure 5 Fig. 5a, 5b and 5c show details of a belt retractor according to the invention. Detailed description of implementation examples
[0023] In the following description of preferred embodiments of the present invention, like reference numerals designate like or comparable components.
[0024] Fig. 1a and 1beach show a perspective view of a portable vacuum cleaner 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The vacuum cleaner 1 comprises a housing 2, which consists, for example, of a cover part and a base part. Rollers for moving the vacuum cleaner along a floor are arranged on the base part. The base part and the housing 2 surround an interior space in which a vacuum cleaner bag and / or a filter as well as a suction fan with an electric motor can be accommodated. The basic structure of the vacuum cleaner 1 can essentially correspond to a conventional industrial vacuum cleaner or the like.
[0025] In the base part of the housing 2, a suction opening 7 is formed, to which, for example, a suction pipe or a suction hose can be connected.
[0026] According to the invention, the vacuum cleaner 1 has a carrying strap 3 for carrying the vacuum cleaner 1. Thus, the vacuum cleaner 1 can be used, for example, for cleaning stairs without having to carry the vacuum cleaner 1 with one hand. The carrying strap 3 is located in Fig. 1a in a first rolled-up state. In Fig. 1b the carrying strap 3 is in a second unrolled state.
[0027] A carrying handle 5 for lifting or carrying the vacuum cleaner 1 is also arranged on the housing 2. The carrying handle 5 can also be used, for example, to remove the cover part from the base part after opening the fasteners arranged on the housing 2. Belt retractors 4 for retracting the carrying strap 3 are arranged at both ends of the carrying handle 5 in the housing 2. The carrying strap 3 is connected to the cover part of the housing 2 via the belt retractors 4.
[0028] A first end of the carrying strap 3 is attached to the first belt retractor 4. A second end of the carrying strap 3 is attached to the second belt retractor 4. Between the first end and the second end, the carrying strap 3 has a length of approximately 50 cm to 70 cm.
[0029] Fig. 2 shows an enlarged detailed view of the cover part of the housing 2. In this illustration, a recess 5a can be seen in the carrying handle 5. The carrying strap 3 rests in this recess 5a when rolled up, so that it can be stowed in the carrying handle 5.
[0030] Fig. 3 shows a sectional view through the upper housing part 2 and the carrying handle 5. The carrying strap 3 is shown by a solid line in the first rolled-up state. The carrying strap 3 is shown by a dashed line in the second rolled-out state. In the sectional view of the Fig. 3The two belt retractors 4 can be seen at the two ends of the carrying handle 5 in the upper part of the housing 2. Furthermore, Fig. 3 a loop 6 on the carrying strap 3 is shown, which is used to pull on the carrying strap 3 in order to unroll the carrying strap 3.
[0031] How to Fig. 3 As can be clearly seen, the carrying strap 3 can be pulled out of the two belt retractors 4 by pulling on the loop 6 in a direction perpendicular away from the carrying handle 5. Since both ends of the carrying strap 3 are wound up in belt retractors 4, the carrying strap 3 unwinds symmetrically, so that no movement of the loop 6 perpendicular to the pulling direction is necessary.
[0032] Fig. 4 shows another sectional view similar to Fig. 3 , with the individual components shown separately.
[0033] Fig. 5 shows a detailed view of the belt retractor 4. The belt retractor 4 comprises an axle 4a, two springs 4b and two sleeves 4c.
[0034] In Fig. 5a An axle 4a of the belt retractor for winding up the carrying strap 3 is shown. One end of the carrying strap 3 is attached to the axle 4a by a clamping element. The carrying strap 3 can then be wound onto the axle 4a. The axle 4a essentially has the shape of a spindle or spool.
[0035] As in Fig. 5b As shown, coil springs 4b are arranged at each end of the axle 4a. Then, the sleeves 4c are connected around the axle 4a by clips, so that the axle 4a is rotatably mounted in the sleeves 4c.
[0036] The two spiral springs 4b are tensioned when the carrying strap 3 is unwound from the belt retractor 4 and can accordingly cause the carrying strap 3 to be automatically wound up in the belt retractor 4.
[0037] The belt retractor 4 thus has two springs 4b, which are operatively connected to the axle 4a and the sleeves 4c. The springs 4b are fixed by the sleeves 4c so that they do not rotate when the carrying strap 3 is unwound. The two springs 4b are as shown in Fig. 5 shown arranged concentrically around the two ends of the axis 4a.
[0038] The features disclosed in the above description, the claims and the drawings may be important both individually and in any combination for the realization of the invention in its various forms. List of reference symbols
