Description

[0001] cleaning device

[0002] The invention relates to a cleaning device for surfaces according to the preamble of claim 1.

[0003] From the patent specification AT 406 633 B a cleaning device is known which comprises a housing, a container, at least one cleaning roller and a holding mechanism, wherein the housing comprises a downwardly open receiving space and wherein each cleaning roller is rotatably mounted about a longitudinal axis in the housing.

[0004] DE 602005 002 740 T2 discloses a surface cleaning device comprising a dirt-receiving body and at least one collecting device provided within the dirt-receiving body for collecting dirt from a surface to be cleaned. A rotatable, elongated brush assembly is also provided within the dirt-receiving body for collecting a first portion of the dirt from the surface to be cleaned and guiding the first portion of the dirt along a first path into the at least one collecting means.

[0005] From DE 112010 005 975 T2 an easily dismantled sweeping device is known which includes a sweeping device, a machine body and a dust container connected to the machine body, and which further includes a magnetic device for assembling or separating the dust container and the machine body.

[0006] The invention is based on the object of proposing a cleaning device or surface cleaning device in which handling of the container is facilitated. This object is achieved based on the features of the preamble of claim 1 by the characterizing features of claim 1. Advantageous and expedient developments are specified in the subclaims.

[0007] In the cleaning device according to the invention, which comprises a housing, a container, at least one cleaning roller and a holding mechanism, wherein the housing comprises a downwardly open receiving space and wherein each cleaning roller is rotatably mounted about a longitudinal axis in the housing, the holding mechanism comprises as a first component a first number of at least two holding elements which are fixed to the container, the holding mechanism comprises as a second component a second number of counter-holding elements corresponding to the first number, wherein the holding mechanism comprises as a third component a slider guided on the housing, wherein the counter-holding elements are fixed to the slider and wherein, in a holding position of the slider, the counter-holding elements and the holding elements are aligned with one another in pairs and wherein a third number of magnetic closures corresponding to the first number is formed by their magnetic interaction,so that the container is held to the housing purely magnetically. This makes it possible to simply attach the container to the housing in the holding position of the slider, without having to worry about guides and / or locking.

[0008] Furthermore, the container is held on the housing in the holding position of the slider in such a way that the container is held on the housing in a suspended manner above a surface to be cleaned, on which the cleaning device rests with the at least one cleaning roller. This ensures that even forced removal or downward pressure on the container is possible, and that the container maintains its alignment, so that the contents remain in the container.

[0009] It is also proposed to align the counter-holding elements offset from the retaining elements in a release position of the slider such that the acting magnetic forces are insufficient to hold the container to the housing. This automatically releases the container in the release position of the slider.

[0010] Furthermore, it is provided to fix an additional element adjacent to each counter-holding element on the slide, which, in a / the release position, is aligned with the holding element associated with the respective magnetic closure. Each additional element is formed by a permanent magnet arranged in such a way that it repels the holding element, which is also designed as a permanent magnet. This allows the container to be actively ejected, thus ensuring separation of the container from the housing even if the container adheres to the housing due to contamination.

[0011] It is also provided to equip the holding mechanism with at least three magnetic closures, wherein the magnetic closures of the holding mechanism form the corners of a polygon and in particular a triangle or a quadrilateral and preferably a rectangle or a square. This ensures, on the one hand, that the container is held securely to the housing. On the other hand, the above-described ejection - if implemented - can be carried out with a high degree of reliability, since tilting is prevented by the arrangement of the magnetic closures. Furthermore, a mechanism mounted on the housing is provided as a fourth component of the holding mechanism, wherein the slide can be moved between the holding position and the release position by means of this mechanism. This allows the movement of the slide to be remotely controlled, so that the slide can be installed invisibly in the housing.

[0012] It is also provided to equip the mechanism with a camshaft pivotably mounted on the housing and to design the slide with a receiving pocket into which a cam of the camshaft engages such that the slide is in the hold position after a left-hand rotation of the cam and that the slide is in the release position after a right-hand rotation of the cam, wherein the slide moves in particular transversely to a longitudinal axis of the at least one cleaning roller. This allows remote control of the slide to be implemented mechanically simply. A rocker switch is provided to actuate the camshaft; when actuated, the switch allows the shaft to be rotated to the right and to the left.

[0013] Furthermore, it is provided to equip the holding mechanism with a fifth component, wherein the fifth component comprises at least one locking element, which is fixedly arranged on the housing and, in the holding position or the release position, magnetically interacts with one of the counter-holding elements mounted on the slide or with one of the additional elements mounted on the slide in such a way that the slide is magnetically held on the housing in the holding position or in the release position. In this way, it can be ensured that the slide remains in the selected position. In particular, this can prevent an undesired change of the slide from the release position to the holding position and vice versa. Of course, the release position and the holding position can also be secured by two differently arranged locking elements.

[0014] It is also planned

[0015] - that the holding elements are designed as permanent magnets and the counter-holding elements as magnetically attractable elements or

[0016] - that the counter-holding elements are designed as permanent magnets and the holding elements as magnetically attractable elements or

[0017] - that the holding elements are designed as permanent magnets and the counter-holding elements as permanent magnets or

[0018] - that the holding elements and the counter-holding elements and the additional elements are designed as permanent magnets or

[0019] - that the holding elements and the additional elements are designed as permanent magnets and that the counter-holding elements are designed as magnetically attractable elements or

[0020] - that the locking element interacts with a counter-holding element designed as a permanent magnet or an additional element designed as a permanent magnet and is designed as a magnetically attractable element or as a permanent magnet or

[0021] - that the locking element interacts with a counter-holding element designed as a magnetically attractable element and is designed as a permanent magnet.

[0022] This allows the cost of the cleaning device to be adjusted depending on its range of functions, since more or fewer permanent magnets must be used in each case.

[0023] Finally, the cleaning device is designed as a wet cleaning device, and the container is designed as a dirty water container. An automatic release function is particularly advantageous for dirty water containers, as this prevents the dirty water container from overflowing when separating it from the housing due to sudden force.

[0024] For the purposes of the invention, a slide valve is understood to mean both a linear slide valve and a rotary slide valve.

[0025] Further details of the invention are described in the drawing using a schematically illustrated embodiment.

[0026] This shows:

[0027] Figure 1: a sectional side view of components of the

[0028] cleaning device, with a slider in a release position;

[0029] Figure 2: the side view shown in Figure 1 in the

[0030] Stop position with the slider stationary;

[0031] Figure 3: a perspective view of the container known from Figures 1 and 2;

[0032] Figure 4: a perspective top view of the cleaning device shown in Figures 1 to 3;

[0033] Figure 5: the slider shown in Figures 1 to 4 in bottom view.

[0034] Figures 1 to 5 show relevant components of the cleaning device 1 according to the invention. Figure 1 shows a sectional side view of components of the cleaning device 1, with a slide 2 in a release position FS.

[0035] The cleaning device 1 comprises a housing 3, of which only an inner shell 4 is shown. An outer shell (not shown), which completes the housing 3, covers the inner shell 4, so that the slider 2 is accommodated between the inner shell 4 and the outer shell (not shown). The cleaning device 1 also comprises a handle (not shown), which is pivotally connected to the housing 3.

[0036] Furthermore, the cleaning device 1, which is designed as a wet cleaning device 5, comprises a container 6, which is designed as a dirty water container 7.

[0037] The cleaning device 1 also includes a first, front cleaning roller 8 and a second, rear cleaning roller 9, which are shown purely schematically and are mounted on the housing 3 for rotation about a front longitudinal axis 10 and a rear longitudinal axis 11. The cleaning device further includes a holding mechanism 12.

[0038] The housing 3 has a downwardly open receiving space AR in which the cleaning rollers 8, 9 are mounted rotatably about their longitudinal axes 10, 11 and the container 6 is accommodated.

[0039] As a first component 12.1, the holding mechanism 12 comprises four holding elements 13a, 13b, 13c and 13d, which are fixed to the container 6 (see also Figures 2 and 3).

[0040] As a second component 12.2, the holding mechanism 12 comprises four counter-holding elements 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d, and as a third component 12.3, the holding mechanism 12 comprises the slider 2, wherein the counter-holding elements 14a, 14b, 14c, and 14d are fixed to the slider 2 (see Figures 1, 2, and 5). The slider 2 is shown in Figure 5 in a perspective view from below.

[0041] Figure 2 shows a sectional side view of components of the cleaning device 1, analogous to Figure 1 but without showing the cleaning rollers, with the slide 2 here in a holding position HS. In the holding position HS of the slide 2, the counter-holding elements 14a to 14d and the holding elements 13a to 13d are aligned in pairs and form four magnetic closures 15a, 15b, 15c and 15d through magnetic interaction, with the magnetic closures 15c and 15d being concealed by the magnetic closures 15a and 15b in Figure 2. Accordingly, in the holding position HS of the slide 2, the container 6 is held purely magnetically to the housing 3 above a base U (see Figure 2), on which the cleaning device rests with its cleaning rollers 8, 9 (see Figure 1).

[0042] In the release position FS of the slide 2 shown in Figure 1, the counter-holding elements 14a to 14d are offset from the holding elements 13a to 13d in such a way that the magnetic forces acting between them are not sufficient to hold the container 6 to the housing 3, so that at the moment the slide 2 is completely moved from the holding position HS (Figure 2) to the left in the direction of arrow y' into the release position FS (Figure 1) in the direction of arrow x', the container 6 falls downwards onto the base U. In Figure 1, the container 6 is just detaching from the housing 3.

[0043] From Figure 2 it is also clear that the

[0044] The magnetic forces acting on the holding elements 13a to 13d and the counter-holding elements 14a to 14d act through a wall 16 of the inner shell 4. The slide 2 rests on the wall 16 from above with the counter-holding elements 14a to 14d, and the container 6 rests on the wall 16 from below with the holding elements 13a to 13d.

[0045] The holding elements 13a to 13d are - as can be seen from the perspective view of the container 6 in Figure 3 - glued into hollow cylindrical domes 17a to 17d formed on the container 6.

[0046] Likewise, the counter-holding elements 14a to 14d - as can be seen from the perspective bottom view of the slider 2 in Figure 5 - are glued into recesses 18a to 18d which are formed in the slider 2.

[0047] Figure 5 as well as Figures 1 and 2 also show additional elements 20a to 20d fixed in further recesses 19a to 19d on the slide 2 adjacent to each counter-holding element 14a to 14d. In the release position FS - as shown in Figure 1 - the additional elements 20a to 20d - comparable to the counter-holding elements 14a to 14d in Figure 2 - are aligned with the holding elements 13a to 13d. Each additional element 20a to 20d is formed by a permanent magnet 21a to 21d and is installed in the slide 2 in such a way that they each repel the holding elements 13a to 13d, which are also designed as permanent magnets 22a to 22d. As a result, in the release position FS of the slide 2, the container 6 is actively repelled downwards from the housing 2 in the direction of the arrow x' by magnetic forces.

[0048] The holding mechanism 12 comprises - as mentioned four

[0049] Magnetic closures 15a to 15d, which form the corners of a rectangle in a plan view. Optionally, the holding mechanism 12 comprises, as a fourth component 12.4, a mechanism 23 mounted on the housing 3 (see Figure 4). The slide 2 can be displaced by means of this mechanism 23 between the holding position HS (Figure 2) and the release position FS (Figure 1), with the slide 2 being in the release position FS in Figure 4. The holding position HS is also indicated in Figure 4. To reach this position, the slide 2 is moved rearward in the direction of arrow y, so that a front edge 2a of the slide 2 is then no longer at the level of the marking FS, but at the level of the marking HS. The mechanism 23 comprises - as can be seen from Figure 4 - a camshaft 26 pivotably mounted on bearing blocks 24, 25 of the housing 3.The slide 2 comprises a receiving pocket 27 (see also Figure 5), into which a cam 26a of the camshaft 26 engages. A left-hand rotation of the cam 26a about a longitudinal axis L26 of the camshaft 26 in a direction of rotation L causes the slide 2 to move in the direction of arrow y from the illustrated release position FS into the holding position HS. A right-hand rotation of the cam 26a about the longitudinal axis L26 of the camshaft 26 in the direction of rotation R causes the slide 2 to move in the direction of arrow y' from the holding position HS into the release position FS illustrated in Figure 4. The slide 2 is thereby moved transversely to the longitudinal axes 10, 11 of the cleaning rollers 8, 9.

[0050] The mechanism 23 also comprises a rocker lever 28 which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the camshaft 26 and by means of which the described rotation of the cam 26a can be brought about.

[0051] Optionally - and shown exclusively in Figure 2 - the holding mechanism 12 comprises, as a fifth component 12.5, a locking element 29b which is fixedly arranged on the housing 3 in a receptacle 30 and, in the holding position HS (Figure 2), magnetically interacts with the additional element 20b mounted on the slide 2. The locking element 29b, which is designed as a permanent magnet 31b that attracts the additional element 20b, magnetically holds the slide 2 in the holding position HS (Figure 2) to the housing 3. This effectively prevents any unwanted movement of the slide 2 from the holding position HS (Figure 2) to the release position FS (Figure 1), which could be triggered, for example, by a substrate generating unfavorable vibrations. Alternatively, the locking element 29b can also interact with the counter-holding element 14b in a different design.In the same way as the locking element 29b, up to three further locking elements can be provided, which then each interact with one of the counter-holding elements or one of the further additional elements.

[0052] Depending on whether a design variant is selected with only a holding element and counter-holding element or additionally with an additional element or also with a locking element, the components mentioned can be designed as permanent magnets or as components that magnetize in the vicinity of a magnetic field, taking into account the desired function. In the case of the permanent magnets, additional attention must be paid to an alignment that ensures the desired function - attractive effect, repulsive effect.
