Description

[0001] Liquid dispensing device for a pressure cleaning device

[0002] The invention relates to a liquid dispensing device for a pressure cleaning device for dispensing a cleaning liquid, comprising a liquid inlet part, a manually operable switching device as well as a washing brush and at least one liquid dispensing nozzle, wherein the switching device has a plurality of closable flow passages and by actuating the switching device one of the flow passages can be selectively opened for supplying cleaning liquid to the washing brush or to a liquid dispensing nozzle.

[0003] Such a liquid dispensing nozzle is known from publication DE 90 17 197 U1. This known liquid dispensing device utilizes a washing brush that is movably mounted on a jet pipe. The jet pipe has a liquid inlet part that can be connected, for example, to a spray gun that is fluidly connected to a pressure cleaning device, in particular a high-pressure cleaning device, via a pressure line, for example a pressure hose, so that cleaning liquid that has been pressurized by the pressure cleaning device can be supplied to the jet pipe via the spray gun. At the end facing away from the liquid inlet part, the jet pipe has a liquid dispensing nozzle, via which the supplied cleaning liquid can be directed in the form of a liquid jet onto an object to be cleaned.Upstream of the liquid dispensing nozzle, a switching device is arranged in the jet pipe, which can be activated by the user by moving the washing brush. The switching device has several flow passages, wherein, depending on the position of the washing brush, at least one flow passage can be opened to supply cleaning liquid either to the liquid dispensing nozzle or to the washing brush. The user can thus supply the cleaning liquid selectively to the liquid dispensing nozzle or to the washing brush by moving the washing brush. Such liquid dispensing devices have proven themselves in practice. However, it would be desirable if the range of applications of liquid dispensing devices for cleaning surfaces could be expanded.

[0004] The object of the present invention is therefore to further develop a liquid dispensing device of the generic type in such a way that it has a wider range of applications for cleaning surfaces.

[0005] This object is achieved according to the invention in a liquid dispensing device of the type mentioned at the outset in that the liquid dispensing device has two liquid dispensing nozzles, wherein a first liquid dispensing nozzle is designed as a jet nozzle for dispensing a cleaning liquid jet and the second liquid dispensing nozzle is designed as a foam nozzle, wherein the liquid dispensing device has a chemical container for a cleaning chemical and a mixing device, wherein the cleaning chemical can be mixed into the cleaning liquid that can be fed to the foam nozzle by means of the mixing device.

[0006] The liquid dispensing device according to the invention comprises, in addition to a washing brush, two liquid dispensing nozzles, a first liquid dispensing nozzle being configured as a jet nozzle and a second liquid dispensing nozzle being configured as a foam nozzle. Starting from the liquid inlet part, the cleaning liquid can be supplied to the jet nozzle, the foam nozzle, or the washing brush via the manually operable switching device. For this purpose, the switching device has several closable flow passages, wherein, by actuating the switching device, one of the flow passages can be opened at the user's discretion to supply the cleaning liquid to the washing brush, the jet nozzle, or the foam nozzle.Cleaning fluid can be supplied to the washing brush via a first flow passage, cleaning fluid can be supplied to the jet nozzle via a second flow passage, and cleaning fluid can be supplied to the foam nozzle via a third flow passage. The user can use the switching device to select which flow passage they wish to open. A cleaning chemical, which can be stored in a chemical container of the fluid dispensing device, can be added to the cleaning fluid supplied to the foam nozzle using a mixing device. Using the foam nozzle, a cleaning foam can be generated in a manner known per se, which can be directed onto a surface to be cleaned, for example the surface of a motor vehicle.Alternatively, the cleaning fluid can also be fed to the jet nozzle, so that a compact jet of cleaning fluid can be directed onto the surface to be cleaned. According to a further alternative, the cleaning fluid can also be fed to the washing brush, which can be used to mechanically treat the surface to be cleaned and simultaneously apply cleaning fluid. The fluid dispensing device according to the invention thus has a wide range of applications for cleaning surfaces.

[0007] With the aid of the liquid dispensing device according to the invention, for example, in a first cleaning step, a cleaning liquid jet, in particular a fan-shaped, widening cleaning liquid jet (flat jet), can be directed onto a surface to be cleaned in order to remove coarse dirt from the surface. The surface can then be foamed using the foam nozzle in a second cleaning step. The foam applied to the surface contains the cleaning chemical that was mixed with the cleaning liquid supplied to the foam nozzle. The cleaning chemical can act on the surface. In a third cleaning step, the foamed surface can be mechanically treated using the washing brush while simultaneously being exposed to cleaning liquid in order to loosen dirt adhering to the surface. In a fourth cleaning step, the surface can be sprayed with cleaning fluid again using the jet nozzle to remove the previously applied foam along with any loosened dirt. All cleaning steps can be performed without the need for different fluid dispensing devices, each of which would need to be connected to a spray gun.

[0008] The liquid dispensing device according to the invention forms an accessory for a pressure cleaning device, whereby a large number of cleaning tasks can be solved with this one accessory.

[0009] It is advantageous if the liquid dispensing device has a housing with an upper housing part that covers the chemical container and from whose front the jet nozzle and the foam nozzle protrude, and with a lower housing part that forms a bristle holder for the washing brush, from whose underside, facing away from the upper housing part, a plurality of bristles protrude. Such a liquid dispensing device has a very compact design that makes it easier for the user to handle the liquid dispensing device. The liquid dispensing device has a housing, on the underside of which the washing brush is arranged, with a lower housing part forming a bristle holder for the washing brush, from which the bristles of the washing brush protrude. The upper housing part covers the chemical container in which the cleaning chemical is stored. The upper housing part has a front side from which the jet nozzle and the foam nozzle protrude. For this purpose, the front side can have an opening through which the jet nozzle and the foam nozzle pass.

[0010] The chemical container preferably has a container hood that sits on the housing base with a sealing element interposed therebetween and has a closable filling opening. In such a configuration, the chemical container can be formed by the container hood and a region of the housing base covered by the container hood, with a sealing element for sealing the chemical container being arranged between the container hood and the housing base. The sealing element can be designed, for example, in the form of a sealing ring. In a preferred configuration of the invention, the container hood forms a filling channel that extends to an opening in the housing top and forms the filling opening immediately adjacent to the opening. The chemical container can be filled with the cleaning chemical via the filling opening and the filling channel.

[0011] The filling opening can advantageously be closed by means of a detachable closing part, for example by means of a plug.

[0012] The locking part is advantageously attached to the upper housing part. In particular, it can be provided that the locking part is held captively on the upper housing part.

[0013] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the lower housing part forms a distribution channel that is in flow communication with a first flow passage of the switching device and has a plurality of openings through which cleaning fluid can be supplied to the bristles of the washing brush. As already mentioned, the switching device of the liquid dispensing device according to the invention has several flow passages, whereby one of the flow passages can be selectively opened at a time, through which cleaning fluid can then flow. A first flow passage is in flow communication with the distribution channel of the lower housing part.If the first flow passage is opened by a corresponding actuation of the switching device, cleaning fluid can be supplied to the distribution channel via the first flow passage. From there, the cleaning fluid can flow through the openings of the distribution channel to the bristles of the washing brush. This allows the cleaning fluid to be applied through the washing brush to a surface to be cleaned, where it can then be mechanically processed using the bristles. The distribution channel of the lower housing section is preferably annular and surrounds the area of the lower housing section that is covered by the container hood.

[0014] It is advantageous if the distribution channel forms a groove that is sealed in a fluid-tight manner by a cover part. The cover part forms a cover for the distribution channel, with a sealing element arranged on an underside of the cover part facing the distribution channel for sealing the distribution channel in a fluid-tight manner.

[0015] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the cover part forms a connection nipple that can be connected to the first flow passage via a first outlet line of the switching device. This makes it possible to supply the cleaning fluid to the distribution channel via the connection nipple.

[0016] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the jet nozzle of the liquid dispensing device according to the invention can be connected to a second flow passage of the switching device via a second outlet line of the switching device. If the user releases the second flow passage by actuating the switching device accordingly, cleaning fluid can be supplied to the jet nozzle via the second flow passage and the second outlet line.

[0017] The jet nozzle is advantageously designed as a flat jet nozzle.

[0018] Preferably, the jet nozzle is held on a connecting line which can be connected to the second output line of the switching device.

[0019] It is particularly advantageous if the jet nozzle is detachably attached to the connecting line. This makes it possible to replace the jet nozzle as needed; for this purpose, only the detachable connection between the connecting line and the jet nozzle needs to be removed. The detachable connection of the jet nozzle to the connecting line can be achieved, for example, using a retaining clip. Such detachable connections are known per se to those skilled in the art and therefore require no further explanation here.

[0020] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mixing device of the liquid dispensing device according to the invention can be connected to a third flow passage of the switching device via a third output line of the switching device.

[0021] The mixing device preferably comprises an injector, wherein the injector has a cleaning agent line that connects an injector inlet to an injector outlet and has a constriction, wherein a chemical line opens into the cleaning agent line in the region of the constriction, and wherein the injector inlet is in flow connection with a third flow passage of the switching device via the third outlet line, and the chemical line dips into the chemical container. If cleaning fluid flows through the injector, a dynamic negative pressure forms in the region of the constriction according to the known Venturi principle, under the effect of which the cleaning chemical can be sucked out of the chemical container via the chemical line and mixed with the cleaning fluid. Such injectors are known per se to those skilled in the art.

[0022] The mixture of cleaning fluid and cleaning chemical can be fed to the foam nozzle, which admixes air to this mixture in a known manner to form a cleaning agent foam. Such foam nozzles are also known to those skilled in the art and therefore require no further explanation here.

[0023] In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the switching device comprises a switching mechanism with multiple closing bodies, wherein the flow passages of the switching device can each be closed by means of a closing body. One of the closing bodies can be selectively moved into an open position, in which it releases the associated flow passage, while simultaneously the other closing bodies assume their closed position, in which they close the associated flow passage. Such a design enables, in a structurally simple manner, selectively releasing one of the flow passages, for example, the first flow passage, while simultaneously closing the other flow passages, in the example mentioned, the second and third flow passages.By operating the switching device, the user can direct the cleaning fluid from the fluid inlet through one of the flow passages to either the jet nozzle, the foam nozzle, or the washing brush. Each of the flow passages can be closed by a closing element, and to open a flow passage, the closing element associated with that flow passage can be moved from a closed position to an open position.

[0024] It is advantageous if the switching device has a wobble body and the switching mechanism has a switching body, wherein the flow passages are arranged at a uniform angular distance from one another with respect to a longitudinal axis of the switching device and the closing bodies each assigned to a flow passage are held on the switching body at a uniform angular distance from one another with respect to the longitudinal axis of the switching device, wherein the wobble body is rotatable about an axis of rotation aligned coaxially to the longitudinal axis and has an end face with an end face region which is inclined to a plane aligned perpendicular to the axis of rotation, wherein the switching mechanism slides against the end face region of the wobble body upon rotation of the wobble body, and wherein the switching mechanism is secured against rotation about the axis of rotation and is tiltably mounted on its side facing away from the wobble body by means of a ball joint aligned coaxially to the axis of rotation. With such a configuration, the user can rotate a wobble body of the switching device about a rotational axis. The wobble body has an end face with an end face region that is inclined to a plane oriented perpendicular to the axis of rotation. Upon rotation of the wobble body, the switching mechanism slides against the inclined end face region, wherein the switching mechanism is secured against rotation about the axis of rotation and is tiltably mounted on its side facing away from the wobble body by means of a ball joint aligned coaxially to the axis of rotation. If the wobble body is set in rotation about the axis of rotation,The switching mechanism then performs a tilting movement. Since the closing bodies assigned to each flow passage are arranged at a uniform angular distance from one another with respect to the longitudinal axis of the switching device, the tilting movement of the switching mechanism causes a reciprocating movement of the closing bodies, with one of the closing bodies being moved by the switching body into an open position, in which it releases the associated flow passage as soon as the wobble body assumes a predetermined rotational position corresponding to the flow passage to be released.

[0025] In the liquid dispensing device according to the invention, the switching device preferably has three flow passages, each of which is aligned at an angular distance of 120° from one another, and the closing bodies are held at an angular distance of 120° on the switching body.

[0026] The switching mechanism is secured against rotation about the axis of rotation. Therefore, although it can perform a tilting movement by means of the ball joint in order to move one of the closing bodies into its open position depending on the rotational position of the wobble body, it cannot rotate about the axis of rotation and thus cannot twist the closing bodies about the axis of rotation. It is advantageous if the switching device has a receiving part into which the wobble body is immersed and in which the switching mechanism is arranged, wherein the receiving part has a bottom wall opposite the wobble body, on which the flow passages are arranged and on which the switching mechanism is mounted by means of the ball joint, wherein the wobble body has a central opening through which cleaning fluid can be supplied to the receiving part.

[0027] The receiving part of the switching device forms a distribution chamber into which cleaning fluid can be supplied via the central opening in the wobble body. The cleaning fluid can flow out via the respectively released flow passage. The flow passages are arranged at equal angular spacing from one another on a bottom wall of the receiving part, which is opposite the wobble body. The switching mechanism is mounted on the bottom wall by means of the ball joint. Cleaning fluid can thus be supplied to the distribution chamber via the central opening in the wobble body. By rotating the wobble body to a desired rotational position, the switching mechanism can be tilted far enough to release the flow passage corresponding to the desired rotational position by moving the closing body assigned to this flow passage into its open position.

[0028] The ball joint supporting the switching mechanism has a spherical joint head and a ball socket aligned coaxially with the rotational axis. It is advantageous if the joint head is arranged on the side of the switching body facing away from the wobble body, and the ball socket is arranged on the bottom wall of the receiving part. Alternatively, the joint head can be arranged on the bottom wall, and the ball socket is arranged on the rear side of the switching body facing away from the wobble body. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the wobble body is rotatably supported at one end of a stirring piece aligned coaxially with the rotational axis, which stirring piece is rotatably mounted in the fluid supply part, and which can be rotated about the rotational axis by means of a manually operable operating part.By means of the control unit, the user can set the pipe section and, together with it, the wobble body in rotation, and cleaning fluid can be supplied to the receiving part via the pipe section and the central opening in the wobble body.

[0029] It is advantageous if the wobble body is connected to the pipe section as one piece. In such an embodiment of the invention, the wobble body and the pipe section form a single-piece component.

[0030] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the control unit comprises a rotating ring mounted on the fluid supply section so that it can rotate about the rotational axis of the oscillating body and is connected to the pipe section in a rotationally fixed manner. This allows the user to rotate the rotating ring, together with the pipe section and the oscillating body, into a desired rotational position, thereby releasing one of the flow passages of the switching device, allowing cleaning fluid to be selectively supplied to the jet nozzle, the foam nozzle, or the washing brush.

[0031] It's advantageous if the rotating ring has a protrusion on its outside. This makes it easier for the user to rotate the rotating ring.

[0032] It is advantageous if the liquid inlet part has an inlet channel, wherein an end section of the pipe piece facing away from the oscillating body can be plugged into the inlet channel with the interposition of a sealing element, and the pipe piece can be rotated relative to the inlet channel about the axis of rotation of the oscillating body. A spray gun, for example, can be connected to a free end of the inlet channel. The pipe piece, which carries the oscillating body at its end facing away from the inlet channel, is held at the inlet channel so it can rotate about the axis of rotation of the oscillating body. For example, an end region of the stirring piece applied to the oscillating body can dip into the inlet channel with the interposition of a sealing element.

[0033] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the liquid dispensing device has a handle which encompasses the liquid inlet part.

[0034] In particular, it can be provided that the handle is cylindrical.

[0035] It is advantageous if the rotation axis of the wobble body is aligned collinearly with the cylinder axis of the handle.

[0036] The following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention serves to explain it in more detail in conjunction with the drawings. They show:

[0051] The drawing schematically illustrates an advantageous embodiment of a liquid dispensing device according to the invention, designated overall by reference numeral 10. The liquid dispensing device comprises a cylindrical handle 12, on which a housing 14 is held. The handle 12 has a rear end 16 facing away from the housing 14, from which a liquid inlet part 18 protrudes. The liquid inlet part 18 has an inlet channel 20, which carries a connecting element 22 at its free end, which can be connected, for example, to a spray gun known per se and therefore not shown in the drawing for the sake of clarity. The spray gun can be supplied with cleaning fluid in the usual way via a pressure line, in particular via a pressure hose, which has been pressurized by a high-pressure cleaning device known per se and therefore also not shown in the drawing.

[0052] The housing 14 has an upper housing part 24 and a lower housing part 26. The upper housing part 24 is formed by a hood 28 and a cover 30. The lower housing part 26 forms a bristle carrier 32, from whose underside 34, facing away from the upper housing part 24, a plurality of bristles 36 protrude. In combination with the bristles 36, the lower housing part 26 forms a washing brush 38.

[0053] The upper housing part 24 surrounds a chemical container 40, which is formed by a container hood 42 and an upper recess 44 of the lower housing part 26, facing away from the bristles 36. The container hood 42 sits on the lower housing part 26 with an annular sealing element 46 interposed therebetween and forms a filling channel 48, which extends to a top-side housing opening 50 of the upper housing part 24 and forms a filling opening 52 at its free end. The filling opening 52 can be closed by means of a closure part 54 designed like a plug, which is captively held on the upper housing part 24.

[0054] The upper recess 44 of the lower housing part 26 is surrounded by an annular distribution channel 56, which is essentially U-shaped in cross-section and is closed liquid-tight on the upper side by a cover part 58. The cover part 58 forms a connection nipple 60, which is connected to a first outlet line 64 of a switching device 66 arranged in the handle 12. This is particularly clear from Figure 6. The hood 28 of the upper housing part 24 has, on its end face 68 facing away from the handle 12, an opening 70, from which a first liquid dispensing nozzle in the form of a flat jet nozzle 72 and a second liquid dispensing nozzle in the form of a foam nozzle 74 protrude.

[0055] The flat jet nozzle 72 is in flow connection with a second output line 78 of the switching device via a connecting line 76.

[0056] This is particularly evident in Figure 7. The flat jet nozzle 72 is held replaceably on the second connecting line 76. Such replaceable flat jet nozzles are known per se to those skilled in the art and therefore require no further explanation here.

[0057] The foam nozzle 74 is in flow communication with a third outlet line 84 of the switching device 66 via a mixing device 80. This is particularly evident in Figure 8.

[0058] As is particularly clear from Figure 9, the mixing device 80 has an injector 86 having a cleaning agent line 92 extending from an injector inlet 88 to an injector outlet 90. The cleaning agent line 92 forms a constriction with a reduced flow cross-section, and in the region of the constriction, a chemical line 94 opens into the cleaning agent line 92. The chemical line 94 has a suction hose 96 that dips into the chemical container 50.

[0059] This is particularly evident from Figure 6.

[0060] When pressurized cleaning fluid flows through the cleaning agent line 92, a dynamic vacuum is created in the area of the constriction according to the well-known Venturi principle. Under the effect of this vacuum, a cleaning chemical stored in the chemical container 40 is sucked in via the connecting hose 96 and mixed with the cleaning fluid. The mixture of cleaning fluid and cleaning chemical is fed to the foam nozzle 74, which admixes air to the mixture of cleaning fluid and cleaning chemical in a known manner, forming a cleaning foam that can be discharged via the foam nozzle 74.

[0061] The cleaning fluid can be selectively supplied to the washing brush 38, the flat jet nozzle 72, or the foam nozzle 74. The switching device 66 is used for this purpose. As is particularly clear from Figures 10 to 14, the switching device 66 has a pot-shaped receiving part 98 with a bottom wall 100 and a cylindrical peripheral wall 102 extending from the bottom wall 100 toward the fluid inlet part 18. The bottom wall 100 has a first flow passage 104, a second flow passage 106, and a third flow passage 108, which are arranged at a uniform angular distance from one another with respect to a longitudinal axis 110 of the switching device 66 and are of identical design. The first flow passage 104 is followed in the flow direction of the cleaning fluid by the first outlet line 64, which is connected to the distribution channel 56 via the connection nipple 60.The second flow passage 106 is followed in the flow direction of the cleaning liquid by the second outlet line 78, which is connected to the flat jet nozzle 72 via the connecting line 76, and the third flow passage 108 is followed in the flow direction of the cleaning liquid by the third outlet line 84, which is connected to the foam nozzle 74 via the mixing device 80.

[0062] A switching mechanism 111 is arranged in the receiving part 98, which has three closing bodies 112, 114, 116 arranged evenly distributed around the longitudinal axis 110, and a switching body 118. The closing bodies 112, 114, 116 are each reciprocally movable and each immerse into one of the flow passages 104, 106, and 108, respectively. The flow passages 104, 106, 108 can be closed and opened by means of the closing bodies 112, 114, 116.

[0063] The switching mechanism is tiltably mounted on the bottom wall 100 of the receiving part 98 by means of a ball joint 120. The ball joint 120 is formed by a ball socket 122 formed into the bottom wall 100 of the receiving part 98 and aligned coaxially with the longitudinal axis 110 of the switching device 66, and a joint head 124 designed complementarily to the ball socket 122 and integrally formed on the switching body 118 on the side facing the bottom wall 100.

[0064] The switching body 118 forms three retaining forks 126, 128, 130, which are evenly distributed around the circumference of the switching body 118 and on each of which a closing body 112, 114, 116 is held. Between the retaining forks 126, 128, 130, the switching body 118 forms a concave guide receptacle 132, 134, 136 along its circumference. Each of the guide receptacles 132, 134, 136 is assigned a pair of guide ribs 138, 140, which are formed on the inside of the peripheral wall 102 and arranged at a uniform angular distance from one another. The guide ribs 138, 140, each of which extends into a guide receptacle 132, 134, 136, form a rotation lock for the switching body 118, so that the latter cannot be rotated about the rotation axis 110, but can only be tilted relative to the longitudinal axis 110.

[0065] A wobble body 142 of the switching device 66 extends into the receiving part 98, is opposite the bottom wall 100, and is rotatable about a rotational axis 146 aligned coaxially with the longitudinal axis 110. An end face 143 of the wobble body 142 facing the bottom wall 100 has an end face region 144 that is inclined to a plane aligned perpendicular to the rotational axis 146. This is clear, for example, from Figure 11. During a rotational movement of the wobble body 142, the closing bodies 112, 114, 116 slide against the end face region 144. This results in the switching mechanism 111 tilting relative to the rotational axis 146 when the wobble body 142 is rotated about the rotational axis 146.Such a tilting movement, in turn, results in one of the closing bodies 112, 114, 116 being displaced in the direction away from the respective flow passage 104, 106, 108 upon reaching a predetermined rotational position of the wobble body 142, so that the respective flow passage 104 is opened for the flow of cleaning fluid, whereas the other two closing bodies are pushed toward the respective flow passage and close it. By rotating the wobble body 142 about the rotation axis 146, one of the flow passages 104, 106, 108 can thus be selectively opened and the other flow passages can be closed.

[0066] The wobble body 142 has a central opening 148 through which cleaning fluid can flow into the receiving part 98. Depending on the rotational position of the wobble body 142, the cleaning fluid can flow out of the receiving part 98 via one of the flow passages 104, 106, 108.

[0067] The wobble body 142 is held in a rotationally fixed manner at one end of a pipe section 150 aligned coaxially with the rotation axis 146. In the illustrated embodiment, the wobble body 142 is integrally connected to the pipe section 150. The pipe section 150, with an end section facing away from the wobble body 142, extends into the inlet channel 20 of the liquid inlet part 18 with a sealing ring 152 interposed therebetween, whereby the pipe section 150 can be rotated about the rotation axis 146.

[0068] The pipe section 150 is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to an operating part in the form of a rotating ring 154, which is rotatable on the handle 12 about the rotation axis 146 and has a radially outwardly directed projection 156 on its outer side. By rotating the rotating ring 154, the pipe section 150 can be manually rotated together with the wobble body 142 about the rotation axis 146.

[0069] Upstream of the wobble body 142, the pipe section 150 has an annular collar 158 into which three identically designed, radially inwardly facing locking recesses are formed, with a first locking recess 160 and a second locking recess 162 being visible in Figure 13. Upon reaching a predetermined rotational position, a locking ball 164, which is spring-loaded in the direction of the annular collar 158, can engage in one of the locking recesses. This provides the user with haptic feedback that the pipe section 150, together with the wobble body 142, has assumed a rotational position in which the switching device 66 releases one of the flow passages 104, 106, 108.

[0070] By actuating the switching device 66 with the aid of the rotary ring 154, the user can dispense a cleaning fluid supplied to the fluid dispensing device 10 selectively via the washing brush 38, the flat jet nozzle 72, or the foam nozzle 74. A cleaning chemical, which can be stored in the chemical container 40 of the fluid dispensing device 10, can be mixed into the cleaning fluid supplied to the foam nozzle 74. Air can be added to the mixture of cleaning fluid and cleaning chemical in a known manner by means of the foam nozzle 74, so that a cleaning foam is formed that can be applied to a surface to be cleaned.

[0071] The liquid dispensing device 10 gives the user the possibility, for example, of rotating the rotating ring 154 about the rotation axis 146 in a first cleaning step to such an extent that the second flow passage 106 is opened by means of the switching device 66, so that cleaning liquid can be supplied to the flat jet nozzle 72 via the second flow passage 106, the second outlet line 78 and the connecting line 76 and can be directed from there onto a surface to be cleaned in order to remove coarse dirt from the surface. The user can then actuate the switching device 66 by rotating the rotating ring 154 by 120° about the rotation axis 146, so that the switching device 66 releases the third flow passage 108 and cleaning fluid can be supplied to the foam nozzle 74 via the third flow passage 108, the third output line 84 and the mixing device 80, wherein a cleaning chemical, which is stored in the chemical container 40 of the fluid dispensing device 10, is mixed into the cleaning fluid by means of the mixing device 80 and can be added to the mixture of cleaning fluid and cleaning chemical by means of the foam nozzle 74, so that a cleaning agent foam is formed which can be applied to the surface to be cleaned. The foam can then act on the surface to be cleaned, and subsequently the user can actuate the switching device 66 again by rotating the rotating ring 154 a further 120° about the rotation axis 146, so that the switching device 66 releases the first flow passage 104 and cleaning fluid can reach the distribution channel 56 via the first outlet line 64 and the connection nipple 60. The distribution channel 56 has a plurality of through openings 166 above the bristles 36, through which the supplied cleaning fluid can be applied to the surface to be cleaned, so that the surface can be mechanically processed by the bristles 36 and, at the same time, cleaning fluid can be applied to the surface by the washing brush 38.In a final cleaning step, the user can then actuate the switching device 66 again by rotating the rotary ring 154 back about the rotation axis 146 until cleaning fluid can be dispensed again via the flat jet nozzle 72 to rinse off the foam applied to the surface to be cleaned. The fluid dispensing device 10 thus offers the user a wide range of applications for cleaning surfaces.
