Description

[0001] Ejection device

[0002] The present invention relates to an ejection device for a movable furniture part, with an ejection element for ejecting a movable furniture part from a closed position into an open starting position, an energy accumulator for pretensioning the ejection element in the opening direction, a locking mechanism for locking the ejection element in the closed position with tensioned energy accumulator, a tensioning element which can be moved by the movable furniture part from the open starting position in the opening direction for tensioning the energy accumulator, wherein the ejection element can be moved by the movable furniture part from the open starting position in the closing direction for tensioning the energy accumulator.

[0003] DE 20 2010 009 797 U1 discloses a device for moving a furniture part, in which a force accumulator exerts a force on the furniture part in the opening direction so that it can be moved from a closed position into a first opening position. From this first opening position, upon movement of the furniture part in the opening direction, a first charging control means can then control the charging mechanism to charge the force accumulator, so that after charging, the charging mechanism can then be moved further in the opening direction. Furthermore, second charging control means are provided, which charge the charging mechanism upon movement of the furniture part in the closing direction. As a result, the furniture can be moved from the first opening position in both the opening and closing directions in order to be charged. The lever mechanism for implementing the charging mechanism is comparatively complex, and there is also the problem that when the energy storage device is being charged, an abrupt drop in force occurs when the movable furniture part moves in the opening direction at the end of the charging process when the charged energy storage device is locked. This is perceived as unpleasant by the operator.

[0004] DE 10 2015 106 781 A1 discloses an ejection device for a movable furniture part, which has a compact design and by means of which a movable furniture part can be moved from a closed position to an open position. A force accumulator of the ejection device can be locked in the tensioned position via a locking mechanism, whereby the force accumulator can be loaded via a movable furniture part during both an opening and a closing direction. Here, too, the problem exists that the force required to load the force accumulator increases, while a movement of the furniture part in the opening direction results in a rather abrupt drop in the force required to tension the force accumulator.

[0005] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide an ejection device for a movable furniture part in which the energy accumulator can be reliably adjusted in the tensioned position via the locking mechanism even at high spring forces and with short switching travels.

[0006] This object is achieved by an ejection device having the features of claim 1.

[0007] In the ejection device according to the invention, the locking mechanism comprises at least two curved guides, each with a locking receptacle, and a control element with at least two latches, wherein each latch can be locked to one of the two locking receptacles. Such curved guides are also referred to as "heart curves." This "double locking" enables the use of energy storage devices with high forces, so that heavy, movable furniture parts in particular can be moved via the ejection device. This allows high spring forces to be used, especially in tight installation spaces, which can be reliably locked in the tensioned position via the locking mechanism. The energy storage device can be tensioned via a tensioning element or an ejection element, depending on whether a movable furniture part is moved from an open starting position in the opening or closing direction.Regardless of the direction of movement, the energy storage device is tensioned and locked via the locking mechanism.

[0008] Preferably, each curved guide has a ramp adjacent to the locking receptacle, and a respective latch is movable against one of the ramps to unlock the control element. This allows the locking mechanism to be reliably unlocked with short switching travel, since both latches can be unlocked simultaneously by moving against the two ramps. This enables a compact design of the locking mechanism and reliable guidance of the control element. The control element can be held on the ejection element and moved together with it. The clamping element and the ejection element of the ejection device can be guided linearly on a housing. Both are preferably movable in opposite directions.

[0009] In a further embodiment, a spring bar with a guide element is provided on the control element, which can be engaged with a projection on the curved guide for moving the control element along the curved guide. The control element can be reliably moved into the locking position via the guide element and the projection, regardless of whether the ejection element or the tensioning element is used to tension the energy accumulator. The control element can be moved into the respective locking receptacle with short switching travel using the locking bars.

[0010] In a further embodiment, the tensioning element is connected to a transmission gear, which allows the force for tensioning the energy storage device to be varied depending on the path. This allows the transmission gear to vary the force for tensioning the energy storage device, depending on whether the tensioning element or the ejection element is used to tension the energy storage device. This virtually eliminates the abrupt loss of force when tightening or locking the energy storage device in the tensioned position, especially when tensioning is performed by the tensioning element.

[0011] The transmission gear preferably comprises a rotating part that is coupled to the clamping element and the ejection element and via which the clamping element and the ejection element can be moved in opposite directions. The rotating part can comprise a gear or a friction wheel and can be eccentrically designed at least in some regions to enable flexible transmission. The rotating part preferably has two spiral gears, wherein a first gear engages with a rack on the ejection element and a second gear engages with a rack on the clamping element. When the rotating part moves, the ejection element and the clamping element are thus moved in opposite directions via the engagement of the racks. Instead of racks and gears, friction wheels and other power transmission means can also be used. The rotating part can also be formed as a single piece, so that both gears are integral with one another. Preferably, the rotating part is rotatably mounted on a pivotable lever. As a result, when the ejection element and the clamping element move, a rotational axis of the rotating part can be pivoted via the pivotable lever. This allows the distance between the rotational axis of the rotating part and the toothed racks to be changed, which changes the transmission ratio. The distance between the toothed racks can remain constant, so that the spiral-shaped gears are also designed such that an engagement point on the two gears is at the same distance. Instead of the pivotable lever, a guide for moving the rotating part can also be provided.

[0012] In a further embodiment, the ejection element is connected to a rack via a rocker. The rocker can be mounted on the ejection element so that it can rotate or pivot. This enables relative movement between the rack and the ejection element, at least in the locked position. The rocker can have a control element that can be brought into engagement with a guide on the housing of the ejection device, so that the position of the rocker depends on the position of the ejection element in the housing. By moving the ejection element, the rocker can then be pivoted relative to the ejection element, thus providing reliable positive guidance.

[0013] The ejection element is preferably constructed in several parts and comprises a rack that is held displaceably between two end positions relative to the ejection element. The rack of the ejection element can furthermore have a contact surface by means of which the control element of the locking mechanism can be moved in a locking receptacle. This allows for a guided placement of the control element in the locking receptacle, which largely prevents any backward movement in the event of rusting on the locking receptacle and thus allows for a low-noise operation.

[0014] Optionally, a damper can be provided to avoid loud impact noises, in particular a linear damper, by means of which a movement of the ejection element in the opening direction can be braked before reaching the open starting position.

[0028] Figure 14 is a detailed view of the furniture in Figure 13.

[0029] An ejection device 1 comprises a housing 2 on which an ejection element 3 for ejecting a movable furniture part is slidably mounted. Furthermore, a clamping element 4 is provided, which is arranged at a distance from the ejection element 3 so that an activator 94 can be inserted between the ejection element 3 and the clamping element 4. The ejection device 1 can be used to eject a movable furniture part from the closed position, for example, for drawers, doors, flaps, sliding doors, revolving furniture, or other movable furniture parts.

[0030] Figures 2A and 2B show an exploded view of the ejection device 1. The housing 2 comprises a first housing part 20 and a second housing part 21. A guide 22 for guiding the clamping element 4 is provided on the second housing part 21, said guide engaging in the guide 22 with a guide strip 41. A further guide 22 can be formed parallel thereto on the first housing part 20. Adjacent to the guide 22, a guide track 23 is provided, which has a receptacle 24 with a bevel for moving a driver 45 on the clamping element 4. A pin 44 at an opening 46 passes through the driver 45, and the pin 44 is displaceable along a slot 43 on a body 40 of the clamping element 4. An integrally formed spring bar 47 is provided on the driver 45, which preloads the driver 45 in an initial position, wherein the driver 45 is rotatably mounted relative to the body 40 via the pin 44.

[0031] The clamping element 4 further comprises a rack 42 which can be coupled to a rotating part 6. The rotating part 6 is rotatably mounted about an axis 60 and comprises two spiral gears 61 and 62, wherein the gear 61 engages with the rack 42 in the assembled position. The rotating part 6 is pivotally held on a lever 7, wherein the lever 7 is rotatably mounted via an axis 70 with a pin which engages in an opening 25 in the housing parts 20 and 21. The lever 7 comprises two webs 71, on the end of which a bearing receptacle 72 is formed, into which the axis 60 of the rotating part 6 engages. The axis 60 is further guided on an elongated hole 26 in the housing parts 20 and 21.

[0032] The ejection device 1 comprises an energy accumulator 5 for preloading the ejection element 3 in an opening direction. The energy accumulator 5, designed as a spring, is fixed at a first end 50 to a spring holder 52, which has webs 53 that can be inserted into slots 27 on the housing part 21. Several slots 27 are arranged spaced apart from one another so that the spring tension of the energy accumulator 5 is adjustable. Alternatively, the spring tension of the energy accumulator can be adjusted in another way, for example, continuously using an adjusting screw or a worm gear.

[0033] The opposite second end 51 of the energy accumulator 5 is fixed to a holder 31 of the ejection element 3. The ejection element 3 is held so as to be linearly movable in the housing 2 via guide webs or other guide means. A receptacle 32 is formed on a strip-shaped body 30 of the ejection element 3, into which receptacle a holder 36 on a rack 35 is inserted. The holder 36 is U-shaped and also serves to receive a projection 37 on a rocker 38. The rocker 38 is rotatably mounted on the receptacle 32 of the ejection element 3 and comprises a rib-shaped guide element 54. Due to the displaceable mounting of the holder 36 in the receptacle 32, the rack 35 is mounted so as to be movable within a certain range relative to the ejection element 3.By means of a rotational movement of the rocker 38, the rack 35 can be adjusted in one direction by means of the projection 37 in the holder 36, or the rocker 38 can be rotated in the opposite direction by means of a pushing movement of the rack 35.

[0034] The ejection element 3 further comprises a pressure element 33, which can be coupled to a damper 8 to decelerate the ejection element 3. The damper 8 is designed as a linear damper and comprises a damper housing 80 and a piston rod 81 movable relative to the damper housing 80. The damper 8 can be designed as a fluid damper, although other damping elements can also be used. Instead of a damper 80 with a damper housing 80 and a piston rod 8, a rotary damper or just a stop damper made of at least partially elastic plastic could also be present on the ejection element 3 and / or on the housing 2.

[0035] A curved guide 28 with two so-called heart-shaped curves is formed on the housing part 21 in order to be able to adjust a control element 10 of the ejection element 3 in a position with the tensioned energy storage device 5. Each heart-shaped curve comprises a loop-shaped guide track with a locking receptacle 29 for the control element 10. The control element 10 comprises two guide elements in the form of pins as latches 11, with each latch 11 engaging in a heart-shaped curve of the curved guide 28. The control element 10 is slidably guided on the ejection element 3, in particular perpendicular to the effective direction of the energy storage device 5.

[0036] Figure 4A shows the ejection device 1 in a closed position, where the term "closed position" refers to a position of the movable furniture part, for example, a closed position of a door or a closed position of a drawer. In the closed position, the energy accumulator 5 is in a tensioned position and is locked via a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises the control element 10, which is secured with the two bolts 11 to a locking receptacle 29 of the curved guide 28. To unlock the locking mechanism, the ejection element 3 can now be moved further in the closing direction; for example, a drawer can be moved from the closed position to an overpressure position, or a door can be pushed slightly towards the furniture body to unlock the locking mechanism.A movable furniture part can thus move a plunger 34 on the ejection element 3 slightly in the closing direction, so that the bolts 11 of the control element are moved against bevels 58, so that the bolts 11 and the control element 10 are removed from the locking receptacle 29 and moved laterally to unlock the control element 10. Such unlocking releases the forces of the energy accumulator 5, which, after unlocking, pulls the ejection element 3 into an open starting position, which is shown in Figure 4B. In this open starting position, the movable furniture part is located, for example, between 3 and 10 cm away from the closed position, so that the movable furniture part, such as the drawer or the door, can be grasped by hand to either be moved further in the opening direction or back in the closing direction.

[0037] As a result of the movement from the closed position to the open starting position, the lever 7 was also pivoted. Figures 5A to 5D show a tensioning process of the ejection device 1 starting from the open starting position according to Figure 4B. As the manual opening movement progresses, an activator 94, which is connected to a movable or stationary furniture part, presses the driver 45 in the opening direction as indicated by the arrow, and force is transmitted from the driver 45 to the tensioning element 4, which in turn is connected via the rack 42 to the rotating part 6 with the gears 61 and 62, which also engages with the rack 35 on the ejection element 3, on which the energy accumulator 5 engages. The tensioning element 4 and the ejection element 3 are moved in opposite directions via the rotating part 6.During the resulting movement of the ejection element 3 in the closing direction, the control element 10, which is displaceably mounted thereon, is moved with the locking bars 11 along the curved guide 28. During a further movement of the ejection element 3 in the closing direction, the locking bars 11 move along an incline and thus ensure a displacement of the control element 10 relative to the ejection element 3 according to Figure 5B.

[0038] In Figure 5C, the control element 10 with the bolts 11 is located just before the locking receptacles 29. As a result of the toothed rack 35 being driven forward relative to the ejection element 3 due to the movable mounting in the ejection element 3, the contact surface 39 on the toothed rack 35 contacts the control element 10 and presses it, on the one hand, against the action of the energy accumulator 5 to the left in Figure 5C and, on the other hand, also in the direction of the locking receptacle 29. If the toothed rack 35 is moved further in the closing direction, the contact surface 39 presses the control element 10 with the bolts 11 into the locking receptacles 29, and the ejection device 1, with the tensioned energy accumulator 5, is in the locked closed position shown in Figure 5D.

[0039] Due to the previous movement of the activator 94 in the opening direction, the driver 45 reaches a run-on slope of the receptacle 24 of the guide track 23, so that the driver 45 is moved via the pin 44 along the slot 43 on the body 40, so that the driver 45 is disengaged from the activator 94. In this position, the energy accumulator 5 is locked in the tensioned position via the locking mechanism. The activator 94 can now be moved over the driver 45 and is in freewheeling mode, so that the door or drawer or another movable furniture part can be moved without influencing the ejection device 1. Should a malfunction occur in which the driver 45 is arranged in a section of the guide track 23 in which the driver 45 protrudes from the housing 2, the activator 94 coming from the opening direction can move over the driver 45 without damaging it.The driver 45 is rotatably mounted on the slot 43 of the clamping element 4 via the pin 44 and preloaded into an initial position by the spring bar 47. The driver 45 can be deflected against the force of the spring bar 47, so that the activator 94 moves over the driver 45 in the closing direction. After moving over the driver, the driver is then deflected back over the spring bar 47 and is available for the next clamping process.

[0040] Alternatively, the tensioning process for the energy storage device 5 can also be effected if the movable furniture part is moved back in the closing direction instead of in the opening direction. When the activator 94 presses against the plunger 34 of the ejection element 3, the latter is moved in the closing direction against the force of the energy storage device 5, so that here too the control element 10, which is displaceably mounted on the ejection element 3, is moved with the locking bars 11 along the curved guide 28. Upon further movement of the ejection element 3 in the closing direction, the locking bars 11 move along an incline and thus ensure a displacement of the control element 10 relative to the ejection element 3 according to Figure 8A.

[0041] Figures 6A and 6B each show a tensioning process of the control element 10 with two bolts 11, each of which can be moved in a curved guide 28. The movement of the bolts is indicated by arrows in the detailed views of Figures 6A and 6B. When tensioning the energy accumulator 5, the bolts 11 are moved from right to left in Figure 6, as shown by the arrows. The tensioning process can either take place when the furniture is pushed shut in the closing direction, as shown in Figure 6A, in which case the bolts 11 are moved against a bevel 55 on the curved guide 28 in order to move the control element 10 perpendicular to the tensioning direction of the energy accumulator 5. The bolts 11 are then each moved into a receiving channel 56 of the curved guide 28 and then back to the locking receptacle 29.To ensure reliable adjustment, the control element 10 is moved back to the locking receptacle 29 perpendicular to the tensioning direction of the energy accumulator 5, as symbolically represented by the arrow. Alternatively, the energy accumulator 5 can also be tensioned by moving the tensioning element 4 in the opening direction, as shown in Figure 6B, wherein the bolt 11 of the control element 10 is then moved directly from the curved guide 28 to the locking receptacle 29 according to the arrow. An inclined contact surface 39 on the ejection element 3 is used for this purpose in order to move the control element 10 perpendicular to the effective direction of the energy accumulator 5 onto the locking receptacle 29. When the closed position is reached, the bolts 11 lie in a receiving channel at the level of the locking receptacles 29.When the activator 94 is released, the force of the energy accumulator 5 pulls the ejection element 3 with the control element 10 in the opening direction and the bolts 11 are placed in the locking receptacles 29.

[0042] To move the control element 10 from the receiving channel 56 perpendicular to the direction of action of the energy accumulator 5, a step can be provided on the curved guide 28, for example. For unlocking, the latches 11 are moved against the force of the energy accumulator against a ramp 58.

[0043] Figure 7 shows the curved guide 28 and the control element 10 in detail. Each curved guide 28 comprises a locking receptacle 29, with a projection 59 formed between the two locking receptacles 29. The projection 59 interacts with a guide element 14 on a spring bar 13 of the control element 10. The guide element 14 is arranged between the two latches 11 next to a guide bar 15. When the guide element 14 is moved against the projection 59 because the latches 11 are moved from a receiving channel 56 to the locking receptacle 29 by the force of the energy accumulator 5, the inclined design of a contact surface on the projection 59 ensures that the control element 10 is displaced perpendicular to the direction of action of the energy accumulator 5 and that the control element 10 with the latches 11 is securely positioned on the two locking receptacles 29.If, however, the energy accumulator 5 is not tensioned by a movement in the closing direction, but by a movement in the opening direction, so that the tensioning element 4 is moved over the movable furniture part, the guide element 14 can be moved over a run-on bevel on the projection 59 so that the bolts 11 can be adjusted on the locking receptacles 29.

[0044] Figure 8A shows the ejection device 1 in a position in which the two latches 11 on the control element are each arranged in a receiving channel 56. The tensioning of the energy accumulator 5 is thus achieved by the ejection element 3 and its movement in the closing direction. The energy accumulator 5 displaces the control element with the latches 11 in the direction of the locking receptacles 29, as shown in Figure 8B. In this position, the guide element 14 engages the projection 59, which leads to a movement of the control element 10 perpendicular to the direction of action of the energy accumulator 5, i.e. upwards in Figure 8B. Figure 8C shows the locked position when both latches 11 are each rusted on a locking receptacle 29 of a curved guide 28. The projection 59 and the guide element 14 reliably prevent rust removal, even when the energy accumulator 5 exerts high spring forces on the control element 10.

[0045] Figures 9A to 9D show the function of the rocker 38 of the ejection device 1. The rocker 38 with the projection 37 in the holder 36 is in a starting position, wherein a rib-shaped guide element 54 rests against a guide 18 of the housing 2 and prevents rotation of the rocker 38. From this starting position, the control element 10 can now be tensioned either via the ejection element 3 or the clamping element 4. Figure 9B shows the end of the clamping process, wherein the control element 10 with the latches 11 has not yet been rusted to the locking receptacles 29. The energy accumulator 5 presses the ejection element 3 against the force of the movable furniture part, which performs the rusting at the end of the clamping process.

[0046] Figure 9C shows the rusted position of the locking mechanism. The control element 10 with the latches 11 is held by the locking receptacles 29, and the rocker 38 has been pivoted relative to its initial position, with the projection 37 still arranged in the holder 36. By pivoting the rocker 38, a relative movement has occurred between the rack 35 and the ejection element 3.

[0047] If the control element 10 is now unlocked from the locking position with the latches 11, the energy accumulator 5 pulls the ejection element 3 back towards the starting position, whereby the rocker 38 comes into engagement with the guide 18 on the housing 2 via the guide element 54, so that the rocker 38 is pivoted back again.

[0048] Figure 10 shows diagrams showing the function of the transmission mechanism for this exemplary embodiment. In both diagrams, the middle line symbolizes the open starting position of the ejection device 1. From this position, the ejection device can now be tensioned by a movement in the closing direction by the ejection element 3 or by a movement in the opening direction by the tensioning element 4. The upper diagram shows that the transmission ratio when tensioning the energy accumulator 5 by a movement in the closing direction is 1:1 because the transmission mechanism is inoperative. A movement of the ejection element 3 in the closing direction tensions the energy accumulator 5. If, on the other hand, the activator 94 is moved in the opening direction, the variable transmission ratio on the rotating part 6, starting from an almost 1:1 transmission ratio, ensures a different force-displacement ratio.Shortly before reaching the clamped position, the gear ratio through the spiral gears 61 and 62 is approximately 1:2.7. Depending on the application and the available installation space, other designs of the gears 61 and 62 and / or other gear ratios can be realized.

[0049] The lower diagram shows the force of the energy storage device relative to the respective position of the ejection element 3 for this exemplary embodiment. When the energy storage device 5 is tensioned by moving the ejection element 3 in the closing direction, the force increases essentially linearly until the closed position is reached. Without a transmission gear, the force would also increase linearly during a movement in the opening direction and tensioning of the energy storage device via the tensioning element 4. However, the transmission gear causes a decrease in the force required to tension the energy storage device 5, since the transmission ratio changes depending on the travel distance. By changing the transmission ratio, the force required to tension the energy storage device 5 decreases with increasing distance from the open starting position. This reduces the effect of the force being interrupted when the tensioned energy storage device, which is locked to the locking mechanism, reaches its end position.

[0050] Figure 11 shows an application example of the ejection device 1, which is fixed to a movable furniture part 92 in the form of a drawer. The movable furniture part 92 is held on two pull-out guides 93 on a furniture body 91 of a piece of furniture 90. The ejection devices 1 are fixed to the movable drawer and coupled via an activator 94, with the activator 94 being secured to the furniture body 91.

[0051] Figure 12 shows that the two ejection devices 1 are fixed to the underside of the drawer and engage with the stationary activator 94 so that the movable furniture part 92, designed as a drawer, can be ejected from the closed position into an open starting position after unlocking. It is of course also possible to arrange the activator 94 on the drawer and the ejection device 1 stationary on the furniture body 91. The activator 94 can also be designed as an element of another functional assembly. Furthermore, the ejection device 1 can also be used on other movable furniture parts 92, such as sliding doors, pivoting doors, flaps, or other movable furniture parts, instead of on a drawer.

[0052] Figure 13 shows another piece of furniture 100 with a furniture body 101 comprising a top panel 102, a base 103, and a cabinet element 104. Between the base 103 and the top panel 102, a movable furniture part 105, designed as a shelf, is arranged, which is movable relative to the furniture body 101 and can be locked in at least one, preferably two, end positions.

[0053] The movable furniture part 105 is provided on a guide element 106 with a guide track 107 on the underside (Figure 14), which is arranged on a support element 108. Two ejection devices 1 are fixed to the support element 108 and can be engaged with two activators 94 on the guide element 106. The movable furniture part 105 can be secured to the base 103 by the ejection devices 1. The guide element 106 with the guide track 107 can be designed as disclosed, for example, in DE 10 2019 109 866.
