Description

Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention relates to an earring. It applies, in particular, to an ear ornament intended to be worn and removed from a pierced earlobe. Previous technique

[0002] There are currently two main styles of jewelry designed to be worn on the ears. The first consists of accessories that are simply pressed onto the earlobe, while the second involves the use of earrings attached by means of a post that passes through a piercing made in the earlobe.

[0003] This second type of jewelry typically features a post, called an earring, which can be inserted into and removed from the ear. This post passes through the piercing and secures behind the lobe, providing a secure way to wear earrings. The same principle applies to ear pendants, although in this case, the post is attached to a small base, onto which the earring is permanently mounted.

[0004] A variation of this concept involves attaching the earring back directly to the jewelry using movable elements, allowing the back to act like a pin, which can be inserted through the piercing in the earlobe. This configuration is commonly called a "hoop earring," and it ensures a secure attachment of the back to the jewelry.

[0005] Finally, there are also earrings with release clasps. These clasps are similar to those found on necklaces and are not part of the earring itself. A ring-shaped closure mechanism, with a latch or sliding clasp, is inserted into the hole, while the earring itself hangs from this ring, much like a pendant.

[0006] It's important to note that today, pendants, hoops, and clip-on earrings are considered less aesthetically pleasing compared to stud earrings. Indeed, stud earrings are the most practical and reliable, unlike other types of fastenings which, in many cases, present drawbacks such as lost pieces or problems with moving parts.

[0007] Furthermore, push-up bras can cause injury or discomfort during setup.

[0008] Documents JP2003052424, US11116293 and WO2013 / 160842 are known. However, these descriptions are not satisfactory for the proper maintenance of the fastening. Presentation of the invention

[0009] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks with a completely innovative approach.

[0010] More specifically, the invention aims to provide a removable ear jewel, fixed through a perforation of the earlobe, which provides complete aesthetic satisfaction and is easy for the wearer to handle with improved fixation.

[0011] In particular, one of the objectives of the invention is to provide a technique to ensure that the fastening is properly maintained.

[0012] This objective, as well as others that will appear subsequently, is achieved using an earring configured to be worn and removed from a pierced earlobe, comprising: a first half of a ring and a second half of a ring substantially of the same size and connected by means of a hinge at one end, and having means of fixing at the other end of the first half of the ring and the second half of the ring, and opposed to each other with respect to the direction of rotation around said hinge, said engaging fixing means comprising a pin mounted in the first half of the ring; the pin having at one terminal end at least one transverse recess; remarkable in that the second half of the ring has: a first receiving opening in a curved slat; a second receiving opening inside the second half of the ring.

[0013] Thanks to these features, this fastening system, with a pin and receiving openings in the curved strip of the second half of the ring, allows for easy insertion of the earring. It is simpler to use than other, more complex fastening systems.

[0014] According to one example, the second receiving opening inside the second half of the ring is located at the terminal end of the curved lamella.

[0015] Once the pin is engaged in the receiving openings, the earring is held securely in place, reducing the risk of accidental loss. This can be especially important for valuable or sentimental earrings.

[0016] The design of the pin and receiving openings allows the earring to rest comfortably on the earlobe without causing irritation or discomfort.

[0017] The fastening system can be designed to be discreet and not detract from the beauty of the earring itself. This allows the earring's design to be showcased without being obstructed by visible fastening elements.

[0018] Because the design of the pin and receiving openings can vary, this allows for some customization to suit each person's style, preferences, and needs.

[0019] The invention is advantageously implemented according to the embodiments and variants set out below, which are to be considered individually or in any technically feasible combination.

[0020] In one embodiment, the first receiving opening provides a pressure latch to engage in one of the transverse recesses of said pin configured to lock the engagement of said fastening means when the first ring half is rotated relative to the second ring half in one direction; when the first ring half and the second ring half are open, said fastening means are disengaged by rotating the first ring half relative to the second ring half in an opposite direction.

[0021] In one variant, the slat has a groove. When the pin is inserted, it is guided by the groove in the slat.

[0022] The snap-on clasp ensures reliable locking of the fastenings when the earring is worn, reducing the risk of accidental loss. When the clasp engages in the transverse recesses of the pin, it creates a locking mechanism that securely holds the earring in place.

[0023] In one embodiment, inside the second receiving opening is a projection providing a pressure latch to engage in one of the transverse recesses of said pin configured to lock the engagement of said fastening means when the first ring half is rotated relative to the second ring half in one direction; when the first ring half and the second ring half are open, said fastening means are disengaged by rotating the first ring half relative to the second ring half in an opposite direction.

[0024] The protrusion inside the second receiving opening provides an additional layer of security on top of the snap latch on the first receiving opening. This means the fastenings are locked even more securely, further reducing the risk of accidental earring loss.

[0025] In one embodiment, the pin has at one terminal end a plurality of transverse recesses.

[0026] In one embodiment, the space between each transverse recess is between 0.1 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 0.8 and 2 mm.

[0027] In one embodiment, the curved slat has a length between 4 and 20 mm, preferably between 6 and 13 mm; and a width between 0.8 and 10 mm, preferably between 1.5 and 4 mm.

[0028] In one embodiment, the curved strip is positioned outside the second half of the ring.

[0029] In one embodiment, the curved strip is positioned inside the second half of the ring.

[0030] In one embodiment, the slat is curved on itself and forms a partial spiral which constitutes a position reminder element and includes a groove extending along the longitudinal axis of said slat.

[0031] The partial spiral acts like a spring, maintaining constant pressure on the fastening elements. This ensures the earring stays in place and reduces the risk of accidental removal.

[0032] The constant pressure exerted by the partial spiral is generally gentle enough not to cause discomfort to the wearer, yet sufficient to keep the earring in place. This contributes to the comfort of the person wearing the earring.

[0033] In one embodiment, the first half of the ring or the second half of the ring has a hollow part. Brief description of the figures

[0034] Other advantages, purposes and features of the present invention will become apparent from the following description, which is provided for explanatory purposes only and is in no way limiting, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which: There figure 1 represents a perspective view of the earring that is the subject of the present invention before the bending of the strip; The figure 2 represents a front view of the earring that is the subject of the present invention before the bending of the strip; The figure 3represents a detailed view of the locking system when the curved slat is inside; The figure 4 represents an overview of a closed earring when the curved strip is inside; The figure 5 represents an overview of an open earring when the curved strip is inside; The figure 6 represents a detailed view of the locking system when the curved slat is on the outside; The figure 7 represents an overview of a closed earring when the curved strip is on the outside. Description of the implementation methods

[0035] THE Figures 1 And 2 show a perspective view and a front view of an earring that is the subject of the present invention before the curvature of the lamella.

[0036] The ear ornament consists of two decorative elements in the form of two half-rings, forming an earring. These two half-rings are interconnected by means of a hinged axis 23. The configuration of this hinge does not significantly affect the invention, provided that it provides a precise mechanism for guiding the rotation of the two hinged half-rings. Although the hinge 24 is visible when the earring is closed, it remains practically invisible when the earring is worn.

[0037] The earring is provided with fastening means, arranged diametrically opposite and attached to each component of the piece of jewelry. The first half of the ring 21 has a pin 25 with at least one transverse recess near its end. In one variant, there is a successive plurality of transverse recesses. The pin 25 may also be called a post.

[0038] The pin 25 is mounted to match the curved configuration of the first half of the ring 21 that retains it. The cross-section of the pin 25 may vary, but the recess must be configured appropriately to fit the second half of the ring.

[0039] The second half of ring 22 is equipped with a first receiving opening 27a in the slat and a second receiving opening 27b in the body of the second half of ring 22.

[0040] The pin 25 engages in the first receiving opening 27a of the lamella and then in the second receiving opening 27b when the earring is closed.

[0041] To the figure 1 It is shown that the lamella has a groove 26a. When the pin 25 is engaged, it is guided by the groove in the lamella.

[0042] As illustrated in the figure 1 Or 2, this receiving opening can be a simple through hole, although, in the case of a ring-shaped configuration, this opening can also take the form of an annular groove or a section of an annular groove.

[0043] When the first receiving opening 27a takes the form of a hole, it must be large enough to allow the pin 25 to slide and be inserted inside.

[0044] When the ring is closed, the exposed portion of the pin 25 should be approximately the same length as the thickness of the earlobe. Therefore, the gold alloy pin should have an exposed length of 3 to 13 mm, preferably 9 to 11 mm. The diameter should be between 0.7 and 0.9 mm, preferably 0.8 mm. Silver, brass, or surgical steel are also available. Any type of metal with good hardness is acceptable.

[0045] Depending on the design, there are different earring shapes besides hoops. Hoop earrings typically have an outer diameter between 8 and 70 mm in width and a length between 8 and 150 mm. For example, the outer diameter is 20 mm. Another example has an outer diameter of 13 mm.

[0046] The cross-sectional shape of the earring body can vary between a square, a circle, a triangle, and an oval. Other shapes are also possible.

[0047] Thanks to this type of earring shown in the diagram, the fastening device remains invisible when the earring is worn and holds the pin in two ways. The first is through the first receiving opening 27a and the second receiving opening 27b; the second is through the force exerted by the curved end of the strip 26.

[0048] These figures show dotted lines which represent a hollow part inside each half of the ring.

[0049] Naturally, the invention described above is by way of example. It is understood that a person skilled in the art is capable of carrying out different embodiments of the invention without departing from its scope.

[0050] There figure 3 shows a detailed view of the locking system when the curved slat is inside.

[0051] This figure shows the first half of ring 21 with a second receiving opening in the lamella 27b. The lamella 26 is curved inwards and shows the groove 26a. The pin 25 has two notches (transverse recesses 28) and approaches the first receiving opening in the lamella 27a.

[0052] In one variant, a projection is located at the second receiving opening 27b. In this variant, the projection is formed by the end of the curved slat 26. The curved portion of the end of the slat 26 locks into a transverse recess 28 in the pin 25. This interaction provides a pressure latch.

[0053] There figure 4 This shows an overview of a closed earring when the curved strip is inside. This figure incorporates some elements described previously.

[0054] Pin 25 has been inserted into the first receiving opening in the slat.

[0055] There figure 5 This shows an overview of an open earring when the curved strip is inside. This figure incorporates some elements described previously.

[0056] Hinge 24 with its articulated axis 23 is visible.

[0057] There figure 6 shows a detailed view of the locking system when the curved slat is on the outside.

[0058] This figure shows the first half of ring 21 with a second receiving opening in the lamella 27b. The lamella 26 is curved outwards and shows the groove 26a. The pin 25 has two notches (transverse recesses 28) and approaches the first receiving opening in the lamella 27a.

[0059] There figure 7 shows an overview of a closed earring when the curved strip is on the outside.

[0060] This figure incorporates some elements described previously.

[0061] Hinge 24 with its articulated axis 23 is visible.

[0062] In an unrepresented variant, the slat is positioned neither inside nor outside but on one of the sides.

[0063] It is emphasized that all features, as they are apparent to a person skilled in the art from this description, the drawings and the attached claims, even if in practice they have only been described in relation to other specific features, both individually and in any combinations, may be combined with other features or groups of features disclosed herein, provided that this has not been expressly excluded or that technical circumstances render such combinations impossible or meaningless.
