The present invention provides a
metal female snap
fastener which can be
mass-produced, has high
sustainability, can improve the operating force, and prevents clothes and the like from hanging on a deformation part. The present invention relates to a
metal female snap
fastener (10, 20, 30) which is made of a single member and can be attached to and detached from a male snap
fastener (40). The female snap fastener (10, 20, 30) is provided with: a cylindrical section (11, 21, 31) that defines an engagement space (S) capable of accommodating the engagement section (41) of the male snap fastener (40); a
flange section (18, 28, 38) that extends radially outward from one axial end of the cylindrical section (11, 21, 31); and a base section (19, 29, 39) that extends radially inward from the other axial end of the cylindrical section (11, 21, 31). The cylindrical section (11, 21, 31) comprises: a plurality of slits (12, 22, 32, 12a, 12b, 12c) that extend in the axial direction of the cylindrical section (11, 21, 31) and are provided in the circumferential direction; and a plurality of deformation parts (13, 23, 33) which elastically deform when the male snap fastener (40) is attached to and detached from the male snap fastener (40). The slits (12, 22, 32, 12a, 12b, 12c) are not continuous with each other. Each deformation part (13, 23, 33) is defined between two slits (12, 22, 32, 12a, 12b, 12c) adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction.
