The present invention relates to a piece of jewelry (1) having a plurality of modular elements or arms (10, 10'), wherein the plurality of modular elements or arms (10, 10') are hinged to each other in a swing-like manner around one or more hinge axes (100), and each arm defines a central hinge region (11) having at least one seat (110) for engaging at least one connecting element (31) for connecting an additional arm. The central hinge region (11) is interposed between at least two lateral hinge regions (12, 13) located near both ends along the longitudinal direction (B) of the arm and further comprises lateral seats (120, 130) for engaging additional connecting elements (32, 33). The seats (11, 12, 13) for engaging the connecting elements (31, 32, 33) include holes or slots (110, 120, 130) between two openings formed on two opposing faces of the arm, the connecting elements include articulating pins designed to engage with the through holes, the through holes having peripheral edges extended in at least one diametrically along the extension axis (A), and the through holes preferably have different predetermined lengths (D) between the different seats (11, 12, 13) present on each arm (10, 10').

Earring back and method of use
An earring back for secure but easily releasable engagement with an earring post or extension is provided. In an embodiment, the earring back includes an outer casing and an internal, compressible material such as silicone. The earring back further defines a center opening for receiving and engaging with an earring post or extension. In an embodiment, the outer casing comprises two pieces. A first piece is a back piece with an enclosed back end, an open opposite end providing access to an inner cavity, and a lip extending laterally from the open end. The second piece is a front piece having a radius larger than the radius of the lip of the back piece and defining the center opening. In an embodiment, a circumferential portion of the casing front piece is folded over and around a lip of the compressible material and the casing back piece lip and compressed.

A snap-fit structure is provided in the movable cavity, and the snap-fit structure is at least partially exposed outside the mating part. The snap-fit structure is rotatably connected to the mating part and forms at least a first position and a second position. When the snap-fit structure is in the first position, it is engaged with the limiting groove. When the snap-fit structure is in the second position, it is disengaged from the limiting groove. The earring of this application allows the snap-fit structure to rotate relative to the mating part through manual operation. The user only needs to roughly align the ear post and insert it into the insertion hole. As long as the snap-fit structure is in the first position, it will physically lock the limiting groove, preventing accidental disengagement and ensuring wearing stability.
