Description

[0001] The invention relates to a method for commissioning an electromechanical locking device at a location. Furthermore, the invention shows a system for commissioning the locking device at a location, with which the method can be carried out.

[0002] Prior art, for example EP 1 899 924 B1, discloses keys that can be inserted into electromechanical locking devices and exchange data with the locking device. If authorization is established through this data exchange, the key can be turned in the locking device. However, the electromechanical device must first be commissioned. For example, authorization is initially assigned to the locking device, and then the key is inserted into a door lock during commissioning.

[0003] Document EP 2 701 124 A1 discloses a commissioning method for a lock with a mobile device. A symmetrical key, known only to the locking device and the access management system and used for encryption, is installed on the locking device during its manufacture at the factory.

[0004] Document EP 4 053 808 A1 discloses locking devices that are already assigned to a locking system and locations and can be further specified.

[0005] US 2012 / 096131A1 and US 2020 / 098216 A1 disclose further commissioning procedures for a lock.

[0006] The object of the present invention is to provide a method for commissioning an electromechanical locking device at a location that is as efficient and / or safe as possible. Furthermore, the object of the present invention is to provide a corresponding system for carrying out the method.

[0007] The problem is solved by the features of the independent claims. The dependent claims relate to preferred embodiments of the invention. Features and details described in connection with the method according to the invention also apply in connection with the system according to the invention, and vice versa. In particular, a method that can be carried out with a system according to claim 15, and / or a system with which a method according to any one of claims 1 to 14 can be carried out, is protected.

[0008] The invention discloses a method for installing an electromechanical locking device at a specific location. The electromechanical locking device is preferably a lock cylinder, in particular a double or half cylinder, a furniture cylinder, a padlock, or a similar device. The electromechanical locking device, designed as a lock cylinder, can be inserted into a lock (for example, a mortise lock) on a door. The padlock can, for example, be mounted on a door. The locking device can be mounted on or in various locking elements, such as doors, gates, drawers, or barriers.

[0009] The location of the locking device can be identified, and in particular uniquely identified, by its "location". Preferably, it is provided that several electromechanical locking devices are put into operation according to the method described below, and that the location is so specific that it applies only to one of the put-in-operation locking devices and not to several.

[0010] The location could be, for example, a building and / or a cabinet, such as an electrical cabinet, and / or a specific room within a building and / or a specific door. Furthermore, the location could also be outside a building, for example, when using the locking device on a door or gate of a fence or wall.

[0011] Procedure stepa: In the process according to the invention, a location-specific user input is initially received by a device to define the location. This generates location information. The device is preferably a mobile device, in particular a smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Alternatively, the device can also be a terminal that is mounted in or on the building, for example, on the wall, and is used for room and / or building control. Preferably, the device is able to establish a connection to the internet and / or a telecommunications network.

[0012] Preferably, the device has an input means; for example, a keyboard and / or a touchscreen. The user preferably enters the input manually into the input means. Thus, step a preferably involves receiving a manually entered, location-specific user input.

[0013] The input means serve, in particular, to allow the user to enter the location into the device. The device preferably also includes output means; for example, a screen, especially a touchscreen, and / or a speaker. The device preferably comprises electronics. The electronics serve, in particular, to process the user input and / or to output a message on the output means.

[0014] As described, the device "receives" location-specific user input, which also includes the possibility of user input via an external input device, such as a keyboard wirelessly connected to the device. However, it is particularly preferred that the location-specific user input is performed directly on the device, meaning the input device is located directly on the device, for example, the device's touchscreen or keyboard. Thus, the user manually enters location information on the device. In one example, location-specific user input is therefore performed by the user entering information on the touchscreen of the smartphone or tablet.

[0015] Location-specific user input ensures that the device has access to information about the location, hereinafter referred to as location information. Location-specific user input refers specifically to a user entering or selecting a location. Examples of user input of a location or location information include "Hotel room 308", "Office 416", "Control cabinet Luisenstraße", "Basement Building No. 1", or an entry on a two- or three-dimensional site plan.

[0016] This user input is particularly preferred while the user, especially the technician, is on-site, i.e., at the location defined here. Specifically, it is intended that this location-specific user input is only received by the device when the technician is present on-site with the locking device to be installed. The technician does not need to be standing directly in front of the locking element into which the locking device is being installed; this is especially true if the location is in an explosion-proof area or if mobile network reception is unavailable at that location.

[0017] The method according to the invention makes it possible for the user to select any locking device on site – even if it has not been configured up to that point.

[0018] Procedure step b:After the device receives the location-specific user input, an identifier (ID) is assigned to the defined location to create an ID-location mapping. This ID-location mapping can, for example, be a data record containing the corresponding location for each ID. However, it is also considered an "ID-location mapping" if, for example, the ID and the location are stored in separate tables and only the link between the ID and the location is saved.

[0019] The locking device preferably includes locking device electronics.

[0020] The procedure stipulates that the locking device is assigned a unique electronic identifier, and this identifier is stored in the locking device's electronics, specifically on a microchip. The identifier could, for example, be a string of characters stored in the locking device.

[0021] It is particularly preferred that the assignment is made for the first time, meaning that the specific identifier of the locking device is assigned to a location for the first time. Alternatively, the assignment is made after a previous ID-location assignment has been deleted; however, preferably, an assignment is not possible as long as an assignment exists for the ID in question.

[0022] Procedure step c: Once the ID-location mapping has been established, the device sends it to a processing unit. The ID and location can also be sent at a different time, but the link between the ID and its corresponding location must be ensured.

[0023] The processing unit can be located anywhere. The ID-location assignment is preferably transmitted via the internet or the telecommunications network.

[0024] In particular, it is intended that the device communicates wirelessly with the computing unit, especially via the Internet or a telecommunications network.

[0025] The computing unit can be, for example, a server. The server can also be virtual, especially as a cloud service. In particular, a corresponding database is stored within the computing unit. Preferably, the ID-location mapping is performed locally.

[0026] According to the invention, this achieves the advantage that the identifier is reliably assigned to the location and, as such, made available to the processing unit. This assignment can be efficiently achieved by entering location information into the device.

[0027] Preferably, the method also includes inserting the locking device into the associated locking element at the defined location. Preferably, the locking element, in particular the door and / or lock, is already installed at that location at this point. The insertion takes place before, during, or after method steps a, b, c – preferably immediately before or after the location-specific user input. In one example, the insertion takes place before step a.

[0028] Preferably, the identifier is transmitted at least indirectly from the locking device to the device before it is assigned to the defined location. Alternatively, the device can receive the identifier at least indirectly from the locking device. Preferably, the transmission and reception occur at least partially wirelessly, in particular via active wireless transmission, e.g., via a radio link. Wireless short-range communication is preferably used. This allows the identifier to be transmitted even with integrated locking devices. The wireless connection is preferably limited to short distances, for example, less than 20 meters. A suitable short-range communication technology, such as Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or Ultra-Wideband (UWB), is used. The device is specifically designed to receive such wireless short-range communication signals.

[0029] In principle, the locking device can send the identifier directly to the device, particularly wirelessly. However, as will be explained in more detail below, it is preferably provided that the locking device first sends the identifier to a key, and the key then forwards the identifier to the device. Preferably, the sending occurs before step b.

[0030] The assignment, i.e., the creation of the ID-location mapping, is preferably performed by the device, specifically within the device itself. Thus, prior to the ID-location mapping, the device receives the identifier of the locking device to be assigned. The device then combines the location information and the identifier to form the ID-location mapping. For this purpose, the device's electronics may include an electronic processor.

[0031] For location-specific user input to define the location, the following is provided: Location-specific user input can be made by selecting a location from a selection list. This selection list is sent from the processing unit to the device. Alternatively, the device receives the selection list from the processing unit. The user can then select the appropriate location on the device, particularly while on-site, to perform the commissioning.

[0032] Additionally or alternatively, it is intended that location-specific user input is preferably performed or supplemented by free text input. This free text input is performed primarily on the device itself.

[0033] Furthermore, location-specific user input can also be made or completed by selecting a location on a site map. This site map is preferably sent from the processing unit to the device, or the device receives the site map from the processing unit.

[0034] Preferably, the selection list and / or the site overview map is displayed on the device, particularly on the output medium, especially the screen. The user makes the selection on the device. It may be provided that an input field is displayed on the device, particularly on the output medium, into which the user can manually enter free text.

[0035] In particular, the selection is made on the site overview map on the device. This site overview map can be, for example, a room overview map, which graphically represents the position of rooms within a building. Clicking on a specific room or door, for instance, selects the location, thus enabling location-specific user input. Similarly, the site overview map can be a building overview map, where the user selects a specific building in which the locking device will be installed. Furthermore, the site overview map can also display various locations on a map, such as buildings or electrical cabinets that are widely dispersed.

[0036] It is conceivable that the user creates a new location entry. That is, the user generates a location entry through user input before this generated location information has been stored in the processing unit. This allows a location to be considered as the installation site of the locking device even if it is not already stored as such in the processing unit. Thus, the user creates a location entry. This is particularly conceivable through free text input or by selecting a location from the site overview map.

[0037] Individual location-specific user input can also be achieved through a combination of several different or identical pre-described methods. For example, a location can first be selected from the selection list and supplemented with text input. Similarly, a building can first be selected in the site overview map, and then the specific location can be defined in a more detailed site overview map, via free text input, or using the selection list.

[0038] Furthermore, the procedure preferably takes into account the existence of so-called locking systems. Within the locking system are several locking devices, which are put into operation in particular according to the procedure described herein. In addition, the locking system incorporates a specific access authorization concept. For example, several authorized users can be assigned to the locking system, with each authorized user being assigned one or more of the locking devices as their access rights.

[0039] Access rights can be divided into authorization groups. For example, the locking system might apply to an apartment building. One authorization group could be for the building manager, who is permitted to lock all doors except those on individual apartments. Another authorization group could be for the apartment owners, who are allowed to lock, for example, the doors on the building's main entrance and their own apartments.

[0040] Preferably, the locking devices of a locking system belong to a common owner.

[0041] Preferably, a locking system is additionally or alternatively characterized by the fact that it includes at least one list of restricted access authorizations, referred to as a blacklist. The restricted access authorizations may relate to one or more locking devices of the locking system. The blacklist is preferably limited to a single locking system. In other words, different locking systems are distinguished by their own separate blacklists.

[0042] The locking system can additionally or alternatively be characterized by the fact that it incorporates its own encryption information, e.g., its own encryption key and / or its own encryption algorithm. The encryption information can also be referred to as cryptographic information and / or the encryption key as a cryptographic key. Thus, different locking systems primarily differ in their encryption information.

[0043] Preferably, the method comprises the following steps: Locking system selection: Preferably, a locking system selection is made by user input into the device. This allows the user to select a suitable locking system, particularly before location-specific user input. User input is made, in particular, via the input device. The user preferably enters the locking system selection manually into the device. Preferably, a selection list for locking system selection is displayed on the device, preferably on the output device, and most preferably on the screen. The selection is made by the user on the device. For example, the user enters the locking system on the touchscreen.

[0044] Assignment of the selected locking system: After the locking system has been selected, it is preferably assigned to the identifier of the locking device to create an ID-locking system assignment. This is done in particular by the device, preferably within the device.

[0045] Sending the ID locking system assignment: Following this, the device preferably sends the ID locking system assignment to the computing unit.

[0046] Preferably, the locking system is selected from a predefined selection list. Preferably, the user, especially the on-site technician, cannot create a new locking system.

[0047] The ID-locking system assignment and the ID-location assignment can be combined into a single ID-locking system-location assignment. It is conceivable that in step c., the ID-locking system-location assignment is sent to the processing unit.

[0048] Preferably, the selection of the locking system is taken into account during location-specific user input. For this purpose, the device can electronically store possible locations associated with at least one locking system.

[0049] The processing unit, particularly after receiving the ID-locking system assignment, preferentially sends information about possible locations that match the locking system to the device. Conversely, the device receives possible locations of the locking system from the processing unit.

[0050] The location-specific user input for defining the location is preferably performed first by selecting the locking system and then by selecting the location within that locking system. In particular, a selection list of locations is provided for this purpose, which only shows locations within the selected locking system.

[0051] Additionally or alternatively, after selecting the locking system, the location can be entered as free text. It is also possible to create new location information within a locking system. Furthermore, after selecting the locking system, the location can be selected from a location overview map of the locking system. This location overview map has already been described. Ideally, the location overview map should only display locations within the respective locking system.

[0052] Furthermore, according to the invention, a key, in particular the key already mentioned above, is used in the method. This key has, in particular, a key shaft that can be inserted into the locking device. The key and key shaft are preferably designed such that torque can be transmitted to the locking device via the key shaft. The mechanical movement of the locking device is thus preferably effected by the key and not, for example, by a motor drive in the locking device.

[0053] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the key establishes an electrical connection to the locking device, particularly via the key shaft.

[0054] The connection can be used to transmit data, in particular the identifier. The connection can be wireless or wired. "Wired" (also referred to as non-wireless) means that the connection is made via at least one conductor in the key that can be electrically connected to the locking device electronics. The key and the locking device can include corresponding electrical contacts for this purpose.

[0055] The electrical connection allows data, particularly non-wireless data, to be exchanged between the key and the locking device. Furthermore, it enables the transfer of electrical energy (also known as current) from the key to the locking device.

[0056] The key preferably includes an electronic key identifier, for example, a character string stored in the key. Furthermore, the key is preferably designed for wireless communication with the device. This wireless communication is achieved via active wireless transmission, e.g., by radio. In particular, short-range communication, for example via Bluetooth or ultrawideband (UWB), is used.

[0057] The key preferably includes electronic components. These electronic components can be used to communicate with the locking device and / or the device.

[0058] Preferably, after communication is established between the key and the device, the key identifier is sent from the key to the device. The device then preferably forwards the key identifier to the processing unit. This allows the processing unit, for example, to verify which usage rights the key has and / or which rights should be assigned to the key. Furthermore, this enables the device to send additional data specifically to this one key.

[0059] As already mentioned, the locking device's identifier is preferably transmitted indirectly from the locking device to the device. Specifically, the locking device first sends the identifier to the key, preferably not wirelessly. The key then forwards the locking device's identifier to the device, preferably wirelessly via short-range communication.

[0060] Preferably, the key is inserted into the locking device with its key shaft, while the locking device sends the identifier to the key. The key being inserted into the locking device can be a prerequisite for the locking device to send the identifier to the key. The key being inserted into the locking device can also be a prerequisite for the key to receive the identifier from the locking device.

[0061] The key may be inserted into the locking mechanism with its shaft in place, while the key transmits the identifier to the device. The key being inserted into the locking mechanism may be a prerequisite for the key to send the identifier to the device. Similarly, the key being inserted into the locking mechanism may be a prerequisite for the device to receive the identifier from the key.

[0062] It is preferably provided that the key, at least temporarily during the process, is inserted into the locking device with its key shaft in order to supply the locking device with electrical energy.

[0063] It may preferably be provided that the key, at least temporarily during the process, is inserted into the locking device with its key shaft, whereby the insertion of the key wakes up the locking device electronics to send the identifier.

[0064] As mentioned, the preferred configuration is for the key to wirelessly transmit the identifier to the device. Preferably, the key has a button that the user presses, establishing a communication link between the key and the device. This allows the key to remain in a power-saving mode most of the time until the button is pressed.

[0065] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the following step takes place before the identifier is sent to the device: A configuration message is wirelessly transmitted from the device to the key. This configuration message contains the information, or is to be evaluated by the key, that a locking device needs to be configured. Based on this configuration message, it is preferably provided that the key controls the locking device electronics accordingly, so that the latter sends its identifier to the key.

[0066] Furthermore, the following process steps are provided according to the invention: i. Receipt by the device of location- and / or locking system-specific authorization information sent by the processing unit. The authorization information is sent by the processing unit and received by the device accordingly. According to the invention, this occurs after step c, i.e., after the ID-location mapping, in particular the ID-location-locking system mapping, has been sent to the processing unit. Based on this ID-location mapping, in particular the ID-location-locking system mapping, the processing unit can compile the required authorization information for the locking device and send it to the device. Alternatively, a data record can also be transmitted from the processing unit to the device before step c, which enables the device to generate the authorization information based on the ID-location mapping, in particular the ID-location-locking system mapping. This can be particularly useful if a data connection between the device and the local computing unit cannot be established and the ID-location assignment is only transmitted to the computing unit later.

[0067] The authorization information is location- and / or locking system-specific, meaning that the authorization information is appropriate for the location and / or the locking system. Preferably, the authorization information is at least locking system-specific.

[0068] According to the invention, the authorization information includes location- and / or locking system-specific electronic encryption information, in particular a location- and / or locking system-specific encryption key. The authorization information may also include a location- and / or locking system-specific blacklist.

[0069] The locking device then receives authorization information. This authorization information can correspond to the authorization information that the device receives from the processing unit. Alternatively, the authorization information received from the processing unit is modified in the device and / or key. For example, authorization information is sent from the device to the key. The authorization information is modified in the key and sent to the locking device. Thus, it can be provided that between receiving authorization information from the key and sending it to the locking device, the key modifies the authorization information, particularly the encryption information.

[0070] The encryption information received by the locking device can be composed of different pieces of information. For example, the encryption information may include information specific to the entire locking system and information specific to the location. Thus, the encryption information can be both location- and locking system-specific. Since exactly one locking device is assigned to a location, location-specific encryption information can also be understood as encryption information specific to the identifier.

[0071] When sending authorization information, the authorization information is first sent wirelessly to the key and then, modified or unmodified, sent from the key to the locking device via a wired or wireless connection.

[0072] Preferably, the locking device comprises an electromechanical actuator and a driver.

[0073] The driver is preferably designed to be rotationally asymmetrical and, in the rotatable state, enables the unlocking or locking of a locking element, in particular a door, during a rotation.

[0074] If the locking device is designed as a cylinder lock and inserted into a corresponding lock, the driver can, for example, move the latch or bolt in the lock. The driver could, for instance, correspond to a locking cam of a cylinder lock. In another example, the driver could include recesses in which locking elements can slide to unlock the shackle of a padlock.

[0075] In an optional step of the process, the electromechanical actuator is controlled by the locking device's electronics to enable the driver to rotate. This allows the actuator to change the driver's position from non-rotatable to rotatable. For example, if the locking device is designed as a cylinder lock and inserted into a corresponding lock, the driver, in its rotatable state, can then move the latch or bolt within the lock.

[0076] The electromechanical actuator, when appropriately controlled by the locking device electronics, allows the driver to rotate. During operation of the locking device, this occurs particularly depending on whether the authorization information stored in the locking device matches the authorization information of the inserted key. The actuator can be designed as a solenoid or as an electric motor.

[0077] The locking device may include a rotor. The rotor is at least indirectly mounted in a housing.

[0078] The actuator unlocks the previously locked rotor, allowing the rotor and the drive wheel connected to it to rotate. Additionally or alternatively, the actuator can also couple the rotor to the drive wheel.

[0079] Preferably, the locking device is free of mechanical coding. That is, the rotation of the driver depends solely on the user's electronic access authorization. Thus, many locking devices incorporate the same internal structure, such as a key channel, key removal lock, electrical contacts, coupling element for the driver, or the like.

[0080] It is particularly preferred that the electromechanical actuator is activated by waking up the locking device electronics at any time before receiving the authorization information according to step ii. in order to enable the driver to rotate. The authorization information is only received by the locking device during the commissioning process described here, specifically in step ii.

[0081] Before this reception takes place, it is preferably provided that the locking device can be rotated with any key. It is particularly provided that the arbitrary key contains no authorization information or very general authorization information that is accepted by the locking device. An arbitrary key is understood to be a key that is compatible with a multitude of locking devices that have the same internal mechanical structure. For example, these keys must be geometrically insertable into and removed from the locking channel, have suitable electrical contacts for electrically contacting the corresponding contacts of the locking device, and so on. By replacing the driver before step ii with any key, i.e.,If the key is structurally suitable and rotatable, it is possible to first check the mechanical functioning of the locking device, especially before the identifier of the locking device is stored in the computing unit.

[0082] It is particularly preferred that the following steps, especially before step a., are carried out: Inserting the key so that the actuator is activated and the driver becomes rotatable. The driver is then rotated, in particular manually.

[0083] In particular, it may be provided that the follower is rotated into a position in which the locking device can be inserted into the locking element (for example, into the door); and the locking device is inserted into or onto the locking element at that location. Alternatively, it may be provided that the follower of a padlock is rotated into a position that allows the shackle to be opened.

[0084] Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the key used comprises a, in particular multi-colored, lighting device that indicates a process step of the process described herein and / or a state of the key and / or a state of the locking device and / or a result of a process step of the process described herein, in particular the failure of a process step.

[0085] The key preferably includes an electrical energy storage device.

[0086] The key checks, particularly before transmitting the identifier of the locking device, whether the charge level of the key's electrical energy storage device has fallen below a certain threshold. If the threshold is crossed, the process is aborted. Specifically, the key then sends a corresponding message to the device.

[0087] The locking device used in the method preferably comprises a housing and an insert. The insert includes a stator and a rotor. The stator is preferably positively and / or frictionally attached to the housing. The rotor is rotatably mounted in the stator. Because the stator and the housing are designed as two parts, the stator can be installed in different housings. This allows the housing to be replaced on-site if it proves unsuitable for installation.

[0088] The application preferably includes the locking device electronics and the actuator.

[0089] The invention further comprises a system for commissioning a locking device at a location, in particular the locking device described above. The advantageous embodiments and dependent claims described in the method are applied accordingly within the system.

[0090] The system comprises a computer program product for execution, and in particular also for storage, on a device, especially the device described above.

[0091] The computer program product is configured to execute the process steps of the described procedure on the device. In particular, it executes the process steps on the device that were previously described in connection with the device.

[0092] Furthermore, the system comprises an electromechanical locking device with an electronic identifier and locking device electronics. The locking device is specifically designed as described above. Moreover, the locking device is configured to perform process steps according to the previously described procedure. The process steps described in connection with the locking device are executed within the locking device itself.

[0093] Furthermore, the system also includes the key, in particular the key described. The key is designed to carry out the procedural steps according to the previously described procedure, which are described in connection with the key.

[0094] The system includes the device and may include the computing unit.

[0097] Fig. 1The diagram schematically shows system 2. This system comprises an electromechanical locking device 30, here designed as a locking cylinder. The locking device 30 is inserted into a locking element 210 at a specific location 201-208 (see figure). Fig. 6 ) deployed. At locations 201-208 (see Fig. 6 ) different locking cylinders can be arranged as part of a locking system 200. Fig. 6 Figure 1 shows a site plan of the locking system 200 with different locations 201-208, represented as different rooms. Each location 201-208 can be locked by a locking element 210, i.e., a door with a lock. Corresponding locking devices 30 are inserted into the locking elements 210.

[0098] Furthermore, it clarifies Fig. 1System 2 comprises a key 20 and a device 10. Furthermore, a computing unit 60 can also be assigned to System 2. Computing unit 60 is, in particular, a server, for example, a virtual server in a cloud.

[0099] Device 10 is, in particular, a mobile device, as explained in the general section of the description. The computing unit 60 and the mobile device are designed for data communication, especially wireless data communication. The mobile device can communicate with the computing unit 60 via the internet and / or a telecommunications network. Furthermore, the mobile device can communicate with the key 20 via a short-range wireless communication connection, such as BLE or UWB.

[0100] The key 20 has a key shaft 21 for insertion into the locking device 30. Furthermore, the key 20 has a button 22 for activating a communication link between the key 20 and the device 10. A light 23 on the key 20 can output signals indicating the communication link. Additionally, the light 23 can indicate whether a process step has been completed or failed. Electrical contacts are provided on the key shaft 21 for transmitting data and electrical energy to the locking device 30 and for receiving data from the locking device 30. The key 20 includes an energy storage device to supply itself and the locking device 30 with electrical energy.

[0101] Furthermore, it clarifies Fig. 1The locking device 30 has a housing 31. A stator 32 is located on the housing 31, into which a rotor 33 is inserted. The key shaft 21 of the key 20 can be inserted into this rotor 33. During operation, the rotor 33 can be rotated by turning the key 20, provided the correct authorization information is exchanged between the key 20 and the locking device 30. By rotating the rotor 33, the driver 36 shown can be rotated. For this purpose, the driver 36 and the rotor 33 are connected in a rotationally fixed manner, at least when the key 20 is inserted.

[0102] Furthermore, a locking device electronics 34 is provided. This controls an actuator 35 of the locking device 30. By appropriately controlling the actuator 35, the locking device 30 can allow the rotation of the rotor 33.

[0103] If rotation of the rotor 33 is permitted, the driver 36 is in a rotatable state. If rotation of the rotor 33 is prevented, the driver 36 is in a non-rotatable state.

[0104] To transition the rotor 33, and thus the driver 36, from the non-rotating to the rotatable state, the actuator 35 rotates an asymmetrical locking element 39. The rotation of the locking element 39 allows a locking bar 38 to unlock. The locking bar 38 can then engage with the stator 32 to prevent the rotation of the rotor 33. The rotation of the locking element 39 allows the locking bar 38 to disengage from the stator 32.

[0105] The locking device 30 includes an electronic identifier ID, which is stored in the locking device electronics 34.

[0106] Key 20 is designed without a mechanical coding system. Therefore, it can only be determined whether a user has authorization or not by means of electronic authorization information.

[0107] Fig. 4 Figure 85 illustrates process steps of the method according to the invention, which can be carried out optionally. Accordingly, within the scope of method 1 for commissioning the electromechanical locking device 30 at a location 201-208, the following can optionally be carried out: 80: Determining a suitable housing 31: A user 70 (also referred to as a fitter) can first select the suitable housing 31, in particular the housing 31 of a locking cylinder. 81: Insertion of the stator 32 and the rotor 33: The stator 32 and rotor 33 are then mounted, in particular as a joint insert, into the suitable housing 31. 82: Inserting the key 20: Preferably, the key 20 is inserted into the locking device 30 before the locking device 30 is mounted into the locking element 210 (e.g. lock). 83: Unlocking: The actuator 35 is controlled by the locking device electronics 34 in such a way that it allows movement of the driver 36. 84: Rotation: Using the inserted key 20, the user 70 can rotate the driver 36, particularly manually, by transmitting torque from the key 20 via the key shaft 21 to the rotor 33. This allows the mechanical function of the locking device 30 to be checked. If necessary, the driver 36 can be rotated into the required position so that the locking device 36 can be inserted into the locking element 210 and thus mounted therein.

[0108] Fig. 5 According to a first embodiment, further steps of method 1 for commissioning the electro-mechanical locking device 30 at location 201-208 are illustrated. Fig. 5The diagram schematically shows, in the left column, process steps primarily associated with user 70 or computing unit 60. The second column shows process steps primarily associated with device 10. The third column shows process steps primarily associated with key 20. The fourth column shows process steps primarily associated with locking device 30.

[0109] As explained in the general part of the description, many of the process steps are optional and do not necessarily have to be carried out. 101: Start receiving the program: In this step, the device 10 receives a corresponding input from the user 70, so that the program, in particular a computer program product, is executed on the device 10. is started. This also includes calling up an already started program and thus switching it to the user interface of device 10. 102: Receiving data for user authentication: In this process step, user 70 can be authenticated by device 10 to determine whether they are authorized to proceed to further process steps. This can involve direct input, such as a password, at device 10. However, "receiving" also includes device 10 capturing, for example, biometric data from user 70 to ensure authentication. 103: Reception for device-side wireless communication: In this procedure step, it can be taken into account that wireless communication between the device 10 and the key 20 and / or between the device 10 and the computing unit 60 only takes place when the user 70 confirms this by a corresponding input. 104: Reception for starting the program module "Commissioning of locking device": The program may contain a module that is explicitly called to subsequently commission a new locking device 30. User input is required for this. 105: Issuance of a request to press a button on the key: In this procedure step, the user 70 can be prompted by means of the device 10, for example a display, to press the button 22 on the key 20. 106: Receipt of the button activation on key 20: In this process step, the corresponding electronics in key 20 receive the information that button 22 has been pressed. 107: Checking the charge level: In particular, after it was received in step 106 that button 22 was pressed, the key 20 a check of the charge level of the energy storage of the key 20. 108: State of charge too low - YES / NO? Key 20 determines whether the state of charge of the energy storage device is too low, i.e., below a limit value. 109: Abort: If the charge level is too low, the process is aborted. In particular, a corresponding message is displayed on device 10, informing user 70 that the charge level is too low. 110: Sending the configuration message: However, if the charge level is not too low according to procedure step 108, the key 20 informs the device 10 accordingly, and a configuration message is sent from the device 10 to the key 20. The content of this configuration message is that a new locking device 30 is to be configured. 111: Output of information regarding key insertion: After the optional transmission of the configuration message according to procedure step 110, a message is preferably output on device 10 informing user 70 that key 20 must now be inserted into the locking device 30. For example, this is done by displaying a corresponding message on the device 10's screen. User 70 then inserts key 20 into locking device 30. 112: Sending the ID: In particular, by inserting the key 20, the locking device electronics 34 are awakened and send an identifier (ID) of the locking device 30 to the key 20. 113: Forwarding the ID: The key 20 is wirelessly connected to the locking device 30 and receives the ID in this way. Identifier. The key 20 then forwards the identifier to device 10 via the wireless communication link. 114: Sending the ID to the computing unit 60: Device 10 can now forward the identifier received in process step 113 to the computing unit 60, although this is not strictly necessary. 115: ID already assigned - YES / NO? The processing unit 60 can generate information about whether the identifier of the locking device 30 is already assigned to a location. The processing unit 60 sends this information to the device 10. Based on this information, the device 10 then performs either process step 116 or 117. 116: Termination: If it turns out that the identifier of the locking device 30 is already assigned to a location, the procedure is terminated. Preferably, the user 70 is notified of this by a corresponding output on the device 10. 117: Locking system selection: In the next step, a locking system selection can be made on device 10, in which – as explained in detail in the general section of the description – user 70 selects a locking system 200. For this purpose, user 70 enters a locking system user input 72 on device 10. 118: Receiving a location-specific user input 71: In the next step, user 70 enters a location-specific user input 71 on device 10, so that device 10 can receive the location-specific user input 71. Specifically, the location-specific user input 71 is entered directly on device 10. The exact configuration of this location-specific user input 71 is explained in detail in the general section of the description and applies accordingly to the Exemplary embodiment. This corresponds to step a. of the method according to the invention. 119: Assignment: In this process step, the device 10 uses the identifier of the locking device 30 forwarded according to process step 113. During the assignment, the device 10 forms an ID-location assignment; that is, a connection between the identifier and the defined location 201-208. This corresponds to step b. of the method according to the invention. Furthermore, within the framework of assignment 119, a connection can also be established between the defined locking system 200 and the defined location 201-208 by creating an ID-locking system assignment. Preferably, an ID-location-locking system assignment is created. 120: Sending the assignment: In this process step, the ID-location assignment can be sent from device 10 to the processing unit 60. Optionally, the ID-locking system assignment can also be sent to the processing unit 60, or the ID-location-locking system assignment can be sent. This corresponds to step c. of the process according to the invention. 121: Receiving the authorization information at device 10: In this process step, the processing unit 60 sends authorization information to device 20, as explained in the general section of the description. This authorization information is based, in particular, on the ID-location assignment and / or the ID-locking system assignment. The arrow between process steps 120 and 121 indicates the chronological sequence of the steps in device 10, namely that device 10 first sends the assignment in step 120 and then receives the access authorization information in step 121. 122: Sending the authorization information to key 20: Once device 10 has received the authorization information in procedure step 121, it can send it to key 20, in particular wirelessly, in accordance with procedure step 122. 123: Forwarding of authorization information by key 20: Key 20 receives the authorization information from device 10 and forwards it to the locking device 30, particularly while key 20 is inserted. In doing so, key 20 modifies the received encryption information. 124: Receipt of authorization information at the locking device 30: The authorization information forwarded by the key 20 is received in the locking device 30, in particular the locking device electronics 34, according to process step 124. This means that the locking device 30 at least partially defines which signals a key 20 must or must not send to the locking device electronics 34, so that the actuator 35 can be controlled in such a way that the rotor 33 can be turned by means of the key 20. 125: Sending a confirmation: After receiving the authorization information according to procedure step 124, the locking device 30 can, in particular via the key 20, send a confirmation to the device 10 stating that the authorization information has been received accordingly. This is done via the key 20 (not shown).

[0110] Fig. 7 A second embodiment illustrates further steps of method 1 for commissioning the electromechanical locking device 30 at location 201-208. The methods 1 and systems 2 according to the invention of the two embodiments are identical – with the exception of the differences described below: 101 and 102: as in Fig. 5 . 117: According to Fig. 7 After step 102, the locking system selection takes place: A locking system selection can be made on device 10, where – as explained in detail in the general part of the description – the user 70 A locking system 200 is selected. For this purpose, a locking system user input 72 is made by user 70 at device 10. 103 and 104: After step 117, optional steps 103 and 104 can follow, as described in the context of Fig. 5 are described. 111: Step 111 then follows. In this embodiment, step 111 simply describes inserting the key 20 into the locking device 30. The key 20 is designed such that it is activated by being inserted. This allows, in the second embodiment, for... Fig. 7 Steps 105 and 106 can be omitted, so that no button press on key 20 is necessary. 112: Sending the ID: In particular, by inserting the key 20, the locking device electronics 34 are awakened and send an identifier (ID) of the locking device 30 to the key 20. 113 with 107: Forwarding the ID: The key 20 is wirelessly connected to the locking device 30 and receives the identifier in this way. The key 20 then forwards the identifier to the device 10 via the wireless communication link. In this process, according to step 107, the charge level of the key 20's energy storage can also be checked. If the charge level is too low, the procedure is aborted. In particular, a corresponding message is displayed on device 10, informing user 70 that the charge level is too low. 114 to 116: as in Fig. 5 . 118 to 125: as in Fig. 5 . Reference symbol list
