Description

[0001] The present invention relates to the general technical field of hairdressing devices and appliances, for example for domestic use, and more specifically to the field of hairdressing devices including a hairdressing appliance designed to blow a flow of air in order to dry and / or facilitate the shaping of hair.

[0002] In the field of hairdressing appliances, brushes are already known, and in particular blow-drying brushes, which are designed to blow a flow of air towards the hair during a hair brushing operation. This type of hairdressing appliance, however, only allows the hair brushing operation to be carried out. Hairdryers are also known, the blowing head of which has an air blowing outlet to direct a forced flow of air towards the hair of a user to dry said hair. This type of hairdressing appliance generally only allows the hair drying operation to be carried out, and the use of additional hairdressing appliances or accessories is then necessary to allow the user to, for example, brush their hair before or after such a hair operation.

[0003] To address these issues, a new hairdressing appliance has recently been proposed comprising a blowing head which carries on the one hand an air blowing outlet for blowing a flow of air out of the hairdressing appliance, for example to use the hairdressing appliance to dry the hair, and on the other hand a mechanical hair engagement element intended to come into contact with the hair to help shape the hair. Typically comprising brush pins or bristles, or comb teeth, this mechanical hair engagement element is typically arranged at a distance from said air blowing outlet and allows the hairdressing appliance to be used to mechanically shape the hair. Thus, the same hairdressing appliance can be used for performing hair treatments, and it is therefore no longer necessary for the user to use several different hairdressing appliances to treat their hair as they wish. This obviously represents a number of advantages for the user, particularly in terms of practicality in everyday life, costs and ease of storage.

[0004] That being said, it has been observed that such a multifunctional hairdressing appliance still has room for improvement in terms of robustness first of all. Indeed, the pins or bristles of the brush, or the teeth of the comb, can be relatively fragile, and can be damaged if the hairdressing appliance is dropped, or when storing or transporting it, which obviously degrades the operation of the hairdressing appliance in brush mode. In addition, it has been identified that the presence of the pins or bristles of the brush, or the teeth of the comb, carried by the blowing head is likely to make the use of the hairdressing appliance in "hairdryer" mode somewhat complex, impractical and uncomfortable, to the extent that hair moved under the effect of the flow of blown air sometimes tends to get caught in the pins or bristles of the brush, or teeth of the comb. IlThis means that the user may have to use unnatural gestures to avoid such tangling, particularly when treating their own hair.

[0005] The objects assigned to the invention therefore aim to propose a new hairdressing device which is particularly robust and which makes it possible to carry out a plurality of distinct hairdressing operations, without requiring the use of an external complementary hairdressing appliance, and this in a simple, practical and comfortable manner.

[0006] Another object of the invention is to propose a new hairdressing device which is particularly ergonomic, easy and safe to use, in particular for a user without particular professional hairdressing skills.

[0007] Another object of the invention is to propose a new hairdressing device which also has a limited overall size.

[0008] Another object of the invention is to propose a new hairdressing device which is also of simple design.

[0009] The objects assigned to the invention are achieved using a hairstyling device including a hairstyling appliance comprising at least one blowing head which carries at least one first air blowing outlet for blowing an air flow out of the hairstyling appliance and a mechanical hair engaging element intended to come into contact with hair to help shape said hair, said hairstyling device including a protective accessory for protecting said mechanical hair engaging element, said protective accessory being designed and configured to be detachably attached to the blowing head so as to cover said mechanical hair engaging element without covering said first air blowing outlet.

[0010] The objects assigned to the invention are achieved by means of a protective accessory for a hairdressing appliance comprising at least one blowing head which carries at least one first air blowing outlet for blowing an air flow out of the hairdressing appliance and a mechanical hair engagement element intended to come into contact with hair to help shape said hair, said protective accessory being intended to protect said mechanical hair engagement element, and said protective accessory being designed and configured to be detachably attached to the blowing head so as to cover said mechanical hair engagement element of the hairdressing appliance without covering said first air blowing outlet.

[0011] Other features and advantages of the invention will appear and emerge in more detail on reading the description given below, with reference to the appended drawings, given solely as illustrative and non-limiting examples, among which: there figure 1 illustrates, in a perspective view, a particular embodiment of a hairdressing appliance included in a device according to the invention. [0012] The invention relates to a hairdressing device which includes a hairdressing appliance 1, that is to say an appliance intended to allow a user, man or woman, to carry out one or more operations for treating his or her hair (or that of a third person) in order to dry it and / or shape it. A non-limiting embodiment of a hairdressing appliance 1 which the device according to the invention may comprise is illustrated as an example in figures 1 to 7 . Two examples of a hairdressing device according to the invention including such a hairdressing appliance 1 are illustrated in figures 11 to 14 on the one hand, and to the figures 18 to 21 on the other hand.

[0013] The hairdressing appliance 1 of the device according to the invention is preferably portable, that is to say that at least part, and preferably all, of the hairdressing appliance 1 is designed to be grasped and manipulated by hand. The hairdressing appliance 1 is preferably a portable electric appliance, intended to be connected to the electricity distribution network to be electrically powered, for example by means of a power cord provided at a free end with an electrical connection plug (not illustrated). It is however alternatively conceivable, without departing from the scope of the invention, for the hairdressing appliance 1 to carry electrical power supply batteries, possibly rechargeable. The hairdressing appliance 1 is preferably intended for use in a domestic setting by a user (male or female) without any particular professional skills in hairdressing, i.e. in terms of drying, styling, or shaping hair. Preferably, the hairdressing appliance 1 is designed so that the user uses the hairdressing appliance 1 on themselves, i.e. on their own hair. However, it is perfectly conceivable that the hairdressing appliance 1 is designed for use by the user on the hair of a third person. As illustrated in the figures, the hairdressing appliance 1 advantageously comprises a handle 2 (or grip) for manual handling, which is intended to be grasped by hand, and for example gripped, by the user, to manipulate the appliance 1.The handle 2 typically extends between a first end 3 and a second opposite end 4, preferably longitudinally along an axis AA' of average extension. The handle 2 advantageously has a slender, elongate shape, so that it can be grasped by the user with the full hand.

[0014] The hairdressing appliance 1 comprises at least one blowing head 5, which carries at least on the one hand a (first) air blowing outlet 6 for blowing a flow F of air out of the hairdressing appliance 1, in particular in the direction of hair to be treated, for example according to a first operating mode (or "first mode of use") of the hairdressing appliance 1, and at least on the other hand a mechanical hair engagement element 7 intended to come into contact with hair to help shape said hair, for example according to a second operating mode (or "second mode of use") of the hairdressing appliance 1.

[0015] Designed and configured to interact mechanically with the hair, that is to say to engage the latter, in particular so as to brush it, set it, style it and / or comb it, the mechanical hair engagement element 7 typically comprises teeth and / or pins 8 and / or brush bristles, which are advantageously arranged to project from an external surface of the blowing head 5, as illustrated as an example in the figures. Said blowing head 5 therefore advantageously forms a styling or brushing head, and can therefore be referred to indifferently, in the context of the invention, as a “blowing head”, a “styling head”, a “brushing head”, or simply as a “head”.In use of the hairdressing appliance 1, the mechanical hair engagement element 7 may thus be applied to and against the hair to help shape the latter by mechanical interaction between the hair and the mechanical hair engagement element 7. Thus, said second mode of operation typically forms a “brush” mode, or even more preferably a “blowing brush” mode as will be considered in the following. In return, said first mode of operation preferably forms a “hair dryer” mode, as will be considered in the following, but could alternatively form any other mode of operation involving the blowing of a flow F of air towards the hair.

[0016] Advantageously, the blowing head 5 extends along an axis BB' of average extension, between a lower end (first end) at which the blowing head 5 is connected to the handle 2, and thus preferably extends the handle 2 beyond the first end 3 of the latter, and an opposite free upper end (second end). Depending on the conformation and dimensioning of the blowing head 5, said axis BB' of average extension may constitute an axis of average longitudinal extension of the blowing head 5, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures. As in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5 is advantageously parallel or collinear (merged) with the axis AA' of average longitudinal extension of the handle 2.The hairdressing appliance 1 then advantageously extends, in general, in a direction of average extension, which is parallel or collinear to the axis AA' of average longitudinal extension of the handle 2 and to the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5. The blowing head 5 may be designed to be connected, assembled, in a removably manner to the handle 2, so that the user can separate the blowing head 5 from the handle 2, for example to clean or to replace the blowing head 5. Alternatively, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the blowing head 5 is designed to remain permanently connected to the handle 2, and is therefore not intended (in normal use) to be dissociated from the handle 2 by the user. This simplifies both the design and the use of the hairdressing appliance 1.

[0017] For example, the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 has at least a first face 9, which carries said mechanical engagement element 7 for the hair. Advantageously, said first face 9 extends along the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5. Optionally, the first air blowing outlet 6 may also be carried by said first face 9, in which case it is then preferably arranged at a distance from said mechanical engagement element 7 for the hair. Preferably, however, the blowing head 5 has a second face 10, distinct from said first face 9 and preferably opposite the latter, and which respectively carries said first air blowing outlet 6. Advantageously, said second face 10 extends along the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5.Typically, the blowing head 5 comprises a housing, for example made of plastic, an external face of which defines at least a portion of said first and second faces 9, 10 of the blowing head 5.

[0018] Typically, the mechanical hair engagement element 7 extends (generally) in a first direction X1-X1' between a first lower end and a second opposite upper end, and in a second direction Y1-Y1', orthogonal to said first direction X1-X1', between a first lateral end and a second opposite lateral end ( figure 4 ). Preferably, said first direction X1-X1' constitutes a longitudinal extension direction of said mechanical hair engagement element 7. Even more preferably, said first direction X1-X1' is arranged substantially parallel to the average extension axis BB' of the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1.

[0019] The hairdressing appliance 1 typically comprises a blower module 11 (or “motor-fan unit”) for initiating the air flow F, i.e. for producing the air flow F, from ambient air in the environment of the hairdressing appliance 1. Preferably, the blower module 11 is embedded within the hairdressing appliance 1 itself. In this case, the hairdressing appliance 1 is advantageously provided with an air inlet 12, through which ambient air can be sucked in by the blower module 11 in order to be blown towards the hair via at least said first air blowing outlet 6. The blower module 11, which typically comprises at least one fan driven by an electric motor, can advantageously be arranged within the blowing head 5 or within the handle 2, or even be assembled to the handle 2 at the second end 4 of the latter.More preferably, however, the blower module 11 is assembled to the handle 2 at the second end 4 of the latter, so that the blower module 11 advantageously extends the handle 2 beyond the second end 4 of the latter. Advantageously, the blower head 5 is connected to the handle 2 at the first end 3 of the latter. In the case where the blower module 11 is arranged within the handle 2 or, more preferably, is assembled to the handle 2 at the second end 4 of the latter, the hairdressing appliance 1 advantageously comprises an air guide channel 13 arranged, formed, at least partly inside the handle 2 to guide, channel, the air flow F initiated by the blower module 11 to the blower head 5.

[0020] As in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the hairdressing appliance 1 advantageously comprises an air direction member 14 (“air distribution member”, or “air deflection member”), for directing, distributing, the air flow F initiated by the blower module 11 at least towards the first air blowing outlet 6 of the hairdressing appliance 1. Advantageously arranged in the blower head 5, the air direction member 14 comprises an air inlet 15, preferably a single one, which is connected to the blower module 11, that is to say which is in air communication with the latter, to collect the air flow F initiated by the blower module 11, and an air direction outlet 16, preferably a single one, for directing the air flow F out of the air direction member 14.In other words, the air directing member 14 is positioned or arranged in, or defined within, the blowing head 5, and is designed to deflect the trajectory of the air flow F generated by the blowing module 11 in order to supply at least the first air blowing outlet 6. Preferably, the air directing outlet 16 is designed and configured to direct the air flow F out of the air directing member 14 in a mean outlet direction which is secant to (or at least arranged in an inclined manner relative to) a mean inlet direction of the air flow F into the air directing member 14 via said air inlet 15. This makes it possible in particular to provide an arrangement of the blowing module 11 outside the blowing head 5, in a manner not aligned with at least the first air blowing outlet 6.In the case where the blower module 11 is arranged in the handle 2 or at the second end 4 of the handle 2, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the air inlet 15 of the air direction member 14 is advantageously connected to the air guide channel 13 of the handle 2, as mentioned previously, to thus collect the air flow F initiated by the blower module 11. Preferably, the air direction member 14 forms an air direction duct (or “air deflection duct”, or “spool”), which advantageously extends the air guide channel 13 beyond the first end 3 of the handle 2.

[0021] Preferably, the hairdressing appliance 1 also comprises a heating element provided to raise the temperature of the air flow F, which is advantageously initiated by the blower module 11. Typically embedded inside the hairdressing appliance 1, the heating element is advantageously arranged so as to be interposed in the air flow F initiated by the blower module 11. As in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the heating element is advantageously positioned inside the air guide channel 13 arranged in the handle 2. The heating element is typically an electric heating element, comprising an electrical heating resistor formed of an electrically conductive wire (not shown) wound around an insulating core 17. Alternatively, the heating element could be housed in the blower head 5, to the detriment however of the compactness of the latter.Advantageously, the hairdressing appliance 1 comprises means 18 for manual control and / or adjustment, by the user, of the electrical operation of the hairdressing appliance 1, and in particular of the blower module 11 and / or of the heating element where appropriate. IlThese are adjustment means, for example of the rocker switch type, push button type and / or of the slide or thumbwheel type dimmers as in the example illustrated in the figures, on which the user can directly act in order to electrically activate / deactivate the hairdressing appliance 1 and to modify the rotation speed of the fan of the blower module 11, and therefore the speed / flow rate of the air flow F blown by the hairdressing appliance 1, and / or the heating temperature of the heating element where appropriate. Such manual control / adjustment means 18 may be positioned, for example, at the handle 2 or at the blower module 11, when the latter is assembled to the second end 4 of the handle 2 as in the example illustrated in the figures. The hairdressing appliance 1 may also optionally comprise a cold air / hot air switch (not shown), for example arranged at the handle 2, preferably at its first end 3, to control switching on and / or off of the heating element.

[0022] In addition to said hairdressing appliance 1, the hairdressing device according to the invention includes a protective accessory 19; 19' for protecting at least said mechanical hair engagement element 7, said protective accessory 19; 19' being designed and configured to be detachably attached to the blowing head 5 so as to cover (at least partially, and preferably completely) said mechanical hair engagement element 7 without covering said first air blowing outlet 6, and thus without obstructing or masking the latter. Said protective accessory 19; 19' is therefore designed and configured to be assembled to the blowing head 5 so that the protective accessory 19; 19' then covers said mechanical hair engagement element 7 without covering said first air blowing outlet 6, and to be attached, held, detachably in the assembled position to the blowing head 5.Thus, the protective accessory 19; 19' is therefore devoid of a portion which, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is attached to the blowing head 5, is arranged opposite said first air blowing outlet 6 and capable, as such, of being arranged in the flow of air blown via the latter.

[0023] By " detachably attached”,it is advantageously understood here that the protective accessory 19; 19' is designed and configured to be assembled and mechanically secured in a removable, reversible manner to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 and to therefore be able to be detached, and preferably separated, at will from the blowing head 5 by the user of the hairdressing appliance 1. Thus, the protective accessory 19; 19' is designed to form a protective casing or case which mechanically isolates, at least partially, the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair from the environment outside the hairdressing appliance 1, so as to thus avoid damage to the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and typically to the teeth and / or pins 8 and / or brush bristles thereof, in particular in the event of the hairdressing appliance 1 being dropped, during storage or transport by the user.In this respect, the protective accessory 19; 19' therefore comprises at least one portion which is arranged opposite the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair and which thus covers, and preferably envelops, at least partially said mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1. The implementation of such a protective accessory 19; 19' thus contributes to preserving the integrity of the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair over time.

[0024] However, the protective accessory 19; 19' therefore does not isolate, even partially, the (first) air blowing outlet 6 of the blowing head 5 from the environment outside the hairdressing appliance 1. In this case, the protective accessory 19; 19' is devoid of a portion intended to be arranged opposite the (first) air blowing outlet 6, so that the latter remains free, neither obstructed nor masked, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is thus fixed to the blowing head 5. As a result, the user can therefore use the hairdressing appliance 1 according to a (first) operating mode in which the air flow F is blown out of the hairdressing appliance 1 via said first air blowing outlet 6, without needing to first detach the protective accessory 19; 19'. 19' from blower head 5.This makes the use of the hairdressing appliance 1 particularly practical, safe and comfortable, since the presence of the protective accessory 19; 19' also makes it possible to prevent hair from unexpectedly engaging with the mechanical hair engagement element 7 during a hair styling operation by applying to the latter the flow F of air blown by the first air blowing outlet 6 of the blowing head 5. In return, when the user wishes to use the hairdressing appliance 1 according to a (second) operating mode thereof involving engagement of the hair with the mechanical hair engagement element 7, the user can then detach the protective accessory 19; 19' from the blowing head 5, so as to thereby free access to the mechanical hair engagement element 7.

[0025] Thus, the hairdressing device according to the invention is not only particularly robust, but it also makes it possible to carry out a plurality of separate hairdressing operations, without requiring the use of an external complementary hairdressing appliance, and this in a simple, practical and comfortable manner for the user.

[0026] Particularly preferably, the protective accessory 19; 19' is immobile relative to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 when said protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to said blowing head 5. The protective accessory 19; 19' is thus advantageously deprived of any degree of freedom, whether in translation or rotation. This allows optimal protection of the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, even when the hairdressing device is in use. Such immobilization also makes it possible to avoid any risk of a portion of the protective accessory 19; 19' unexpectedly masking the first air blowing outlet 6 when the hairdressing appliance 1 is operating according to its first operating mode.

[0027] Typically, as illustrated in the figures, the protective accessory 19; 19' comprises at least one covering portion 20; 20', which is designed and configured to be arranged opposite the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair when the protective accessory 19; 19' is attached to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1, so as to cover, to envelop, thus at least partially, and preferably totally, the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair. Preferably, the protective accessory 19; 19' further comprises a fixing portion 21; 21', which is connected to said covering portion 20; 20' and which is designed and configured to ensure a reversible (i.e. detachable) fixing of the protective accessory 19; 19' to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1.Said fixing portion 21; 21' is not necessarily distinct from said covering portion 20; 20', a part of the latter possibly being able to participate in the fixing of the protective accessory 19; 19'.

[0028] Typically, said covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' is rigid, so that in normal use of the hairdressing device, said covering portion 20; 20' does not deform under its own weight or under the effect of normal handling of the hairdressing device and its components by the user. In return, said at least one fixing portion 21; 21' of the protective accessory 19; 19' may also be rigid, as in the example of figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23, or have a certain elasticity giving it an elastically deformable character, in particular in an area at which the fixing portion 21 is connected to the covering portion 20, as in the example of figures 8 to 10 .

[0029] Typically, as illustrated in the figures, at least the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' extends (generally) in a first direction X2-X2' between a (first) upper end 22; 22' and an opposite (second) lower end 23; 23', and in a second direction Y2-Y2', orthogonal to said first direction X2-X2', between a first lateral end 24; 24' and a second lateral end 25; 25' opposite. Advantageously, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1, said first direction X2-X2' of extension of at least said covering portion 20; 20' is arranged parallel to said first direction X1-X1' of respective extension of the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair ( figure 11 , 13 , 18 And 19). Advantageously, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is attached to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1, said second direction Y2-Y2' of extension of at least said covering portion 20; 20' is arranged parallel to said second direction Y1-Y1' of respective extension of the mechanical hair engagement element 7. Advantageously, said covering portion 20; 20' extends along said first direction X2-X2' of extension over a length at least equal to a length over which the mechanical hair engagement element 7 extends respectively along said first direction X1-X1' of extension of the latter. Advantageously, said covering portion 20; 20' extends along said second direction Y2-Y2' over a length at least equal to a length over which the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair extends respectively along said second direction Y1-Y1' of extension of the latter. Thus, said covering portion 20; 20' advantageously completely covers the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5, which allows optimal protection of said mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair.

[0030] Advantageously, as illustrated in the figures, said covering portion 20; 20' is shaped to follow the shape of a portion of the blowing head 5 which carries the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair and the shape of the latter. For example, a portion of the first face 9 of the blowing head 5 which carries the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and the latter, have a curved, arcuate shape, in a plane intersecting the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5, and said covering portion 20; 20' thus advantageously has a corresponding generally curved shape. Advantageously, as illustrated in the figures, said fixing portion 21; 21' is shaped to follow the shape of a portion of the blowing head 5 which is intended to cooperate with the fixing portion 21; 21' to ensure reversible (i.e. detachable) fixing of the protective accessory 19; 19' at blower head 5.This contributes to the general aesthetics of the hairdressing device, but also to a limitation of the general size of the latter, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5.

[0031] Preferably, as illustrated by example in the figures, the covering portion 20; 20' has a convex, curved external face. For example, the convex nature of the external face of the covering portion 20; 20' can contribute to giving said covering portion 20; 20' a generally curved shape as mentioned above, for the aforementioned effects and advantages. Such a convex nature is also particularly advantageous, in that it allows the hairdressing device to be handled and moved particularly easily along the hair when the hairdressing appliance 1 operates according to the first aforementioned operating mode.Hair can then slide against the convex outer face of the covering portion 20; 20' without becoming tangled, or a lock of hair can even be pressed against said convex outer face by the user, for example for straightening purposes after said lock of hair has been subjected to the flow F of air blown by the first air blowing outlet 6.

[0032] Preferably, as in the examples illustrated in the figures, the protective accessory 19; 19' forms a single part, advantageously monolithic ( i . e. monobloc), for example made of plastic material(s). Thus, said covering portion 20; 20' advantageously comes from the same material as said fixing portion 21; 21'. This makes it possible in particular to simplify the design and manufacture of the protective accessory 19; 19', and therefore of the hairdressing device, as well as its implementation. Alternatively, but in a less advantageous manner in terms of practicality of use in particular, the protective accessory can be formed of several separate and separable parts, and for example of two separate and separable parts, to be assembled together with the blowing head 5 to form and fix said protective accessory to the latter.

[0033] Advantageously, the protective accessory 19; 19' is made of heat-resistant material(s), such as for example polyamide. This contributes to the robustness and reliability of the hairdressing device, by limiting the risk of premature degradation of the protective accessory 19; 19' under the effect of heat when the protective accessory 19; 19' is attached to the blowing head 5 which heats up while the hairdressing appliance blows a flow F of hot air via the first air blowing outlet 6.

[0034] Preferably, as in the embodiment and examples illustrated in the figures, the protective accessory 19; 19' is designed and configured to be detachably attached to the blowing head 5 so as to cover said mechanical hair engagement element 7 without contact (direct mechanical) between said mechanical hair engagement element 7 and said protective accessory 19; 19'. This advantageously limits the risk of damage to the mechanical hair engagement element 7, and typically to the teeth and / or pins 8 and / or brush bristles thereof, when attaching the protective accessory 19; 19'.In addition, the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' is therefore in particular shaped and dimensioned so that, when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5, the protective accessory 19; 19' is thus arranged at a distance from the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and typically from the teeth and / or pins 8 and / or brush bristles of the latter. Advantageously, said covering portion 20; 20' defines a protective housing 26; 26', intended to receive at least in part (and preferably in full) the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and in particular the teeth and / or pins 8 and / or brush bristles of the latter, preferably therefore without contact of the latter(s) with a wall (bottom wall and / or side wall) defining said protective housing 26; 26'.Thus, in the event of an external mechanical shock received by the protective accessory 19; 19', the shock is not transmitted directly to the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, which therefore contributes to further reducing the risk of damage to the latter. Advantageously, said covering portion 20; 20' may have an opening 27; 27' for access to said protective housing 26; 26', which is provided in a side wall of the covering portion 20; 20' which defines the protective housing 26; 26', to allow the protective accessory 19; 19' to be put in place, and reciprocally removed, without contact between the latter and the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair. For example, as illustrated in the figures, said access opening 27; 27' is formed by the absence of a lower side wall portion of the protective housing 26; 26' at the lower end 23; 23' of the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19'.

[0035] According to a variant, implemented in the example illustrated in figures 8 to 10 And 11 à 14 , the protective accessory 19 comprises fixing means for fixing (in a detachable manner) said protective accessory 19 to the blowing head 5 by reversible elastic fitting, that is to say by " clipping » from the protective accessory 19 to the blowing head 5. In this respect, as in the example of the figures 8 to 10, the fixing portion 21 of the protective accessory 19 preferably forms an elastically deformable clamp, comprising at least two opposite tabs 28A, 28B (or “legs” or even “jaws”), for example which each extend the covering portion 20 of the protective accessory 19, and which are capable of moving away from each other by elastic deformation during assembly / disassembly of the protective accessory 19 to the blowing head 5, then of automatically returning to a close configuration, in particular so that the tabs 28A, 28B then grip (i.e. pinch) between them a portion of the blowing head 5.Advantageously, the tabs 28A, 28B have internal faces which define between them a free space 29 intended to receive said portion of the blowing head 5 during the fixing of the protective accessory 19 to the latter, said internal faces therefore then being arranged opposite, and in contact with, an external surface of the blowing head 5, the tabs 28A, 28B being advantageously arranged on either side of the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5. Preferably, said internal face of one and / or the other of the tabs 28A; 28B is to be provided with one or more ribs 30A, 30B (or other protrusion(s)), intended to be received in one or more grooves 31A, 31B (or other depression(s)) which are respectively arranged in a corresponding surface of the blowing head 5.The cooperation of said ribs 30A, 30B and grooves 31A, 31B advantageously contributes to making the protection accessory 19 more reliable to be held in a fixed, and advantageously immobile, position relative to the blowing head 5, in particular by opposing rotation of the protection accessory 19 around an axis parallel to, or coincident with, the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5.Furthermore, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures in which said grooves 31A, 31B each extend from the free upper end of the blowing head 5 towards the lower end of the latter, advantageously in a direction substantially parallel to the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5, the cooperation of the ribs 30A, 30B and the grooves 31A, 31B makes it possible to precisely guide, and therefore facilitate, the assembly / disassembly of the protective accessory 19 to the blowing head 5, thereby reducing the risk of involuntary interaction between the protective accessory 19 and the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair.

[0036] As illustrated schematically in the example in figure 11 , the 19 protection accessory of the figures 8 to 10, can be fixed to the blowing head 5 by inserting the free upper end of the blowing head 5 inside said free space 29 so as to cause a relative separation of the tabs 28A; 28B by bringing the latter into contact with an external surface of the blowing head 5. A relative disassembly of the protective accessory 19 and the blowing head 5 can be carried out according to a reverse procedure.

[0037] According to another variant, implemented in the example illustrated in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23 , And 18 à 21 , the protective accessory 19' comprises fixing means for detachably fixing the protective accessory 19' to the blowing head 5 by force fitting the blowing head 5 into the protective accessory 19', i.e. by "fitting" of the blowing head 5 in at least part of the protective accessory 19'. In this respect, as in the example of the figures 15 to 17, and 22 and 23, the fixing portion 21' forms or contributes to forming a sheath (not necessarily closed on itself) and thus has one or more internal faces which define(s) a free space 29' intended to receive a portion of the blowing head 5 during the fixing of the protective accessory 19' to the latter, the internal face(s) therefore then being arranged opposite, and in contact with, the surface of the blowing head 5. Advantageously, said free space 29' has a generally frustoconical shape, intended to cooperate with a corresponding generally frustoconical shape which advantageously has in return said portion of the blowing head 5 at the level of which the protective accessory 19' is intended to be fixed.According to this variant, said fixing portion 21' is advantageously rigid, and therefore in particular advantageously substantially devoid of elastically deformable character, so that friction forces are therefore exerted between the protective accessory 19' and the blowing head 5 following insertion of the latter into the protective accessory 19', in a manner similar to that described for the variant of . figures 8 to 14 , which allows for a detachable (i.e. reversible) attachment of the protective accessory 19' to the blowing head 5. As understood, a relative disassembly of the protective accessory 19' and the blowing head 5 can be carried out according to a reverse procedure, by exerting against the latter a sufficient relative separation force to combat said friction forces ( figure 18). Preferably and for the same reasons and effects as those already described above, the said internal face(s) of the fixing portion 21' are provided with one or more ribs 30A', 30B' (or other protuberance(s)), intended to be received in one or more grooves 31A, 31B (or other depression(s)) which are respectively arranged in a corresponding surface of the blowing head 5, as mentioned previously.

[0038] Compared to the first variant described above, this second variant has the particular advantage of contributing to ensuring more effective maintenance of the protective accessory 19' in a fixed, immobile position relative to the blowing head 5. Furthermore, it is thus possible to design a protective accessory that is simpler to use, but also more reliable and more robust, in the absence of an elastically deformable part or portion (for fixing the protective accessory) which could see its properties deteriorate over time, leading to a loss of fixing effectiveness or even a risk of breakage of the protective accessory.

[0039] Obviously, the invention is not limited to these two preferred variants of fixing the protective accessory 19; 19' to the blowing head 5, nor to the corresponding examples, in which a fixing portion 21; 21' of the protective accessory 19; 19' forms (or at least contributes to forming) said fixing means. Indeed, other suitable fixing means could be envisaged and in particular external fixing means or means added to the protective accessory 19; 19' (tightening screw, bayonet assembly system, etc.). It is in particular conceivable to provide fixing means designed to detachably fix the protective accessory to the blowing head by combining a force-fitting of the blowing head in the protective accessory and a reversible elastic fitting.

[0040] Advantageously, the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' comprises at least one bearing zone which is intended to be arranged in contact against the blowing head 5 when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the latter. For example, said bearing zone is formed by one or more protrusions 32A, 32B; 32A', 32B', for example arranged projecting from a peripheral edge of an upper side wall portion of the covering portion 20; 20'. This makes it possible in particular to further improve the reliability of maintaining the protective accessory 19, 19' in the fixed position and thus to optimize the protection of the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, in particular avoiding a risk of displacement of said covering portion 20; 20' towards the first face 9 of the blowing head 5, therefore against the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair.

[0041] According to a variant, implemented in the example illustrated in figures 8 to 10 And 11 à 14, the protective accessory 19 is designed and configured to surround the blowing head 5 along only a part of a peripheral contour of the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 when the protective accessory 19 is attached to said blowing head 5. Advantageously, the protective accessory 19 can thus be shaped and dimensioned to surround the blowing head 5 along only three-quarters of a peripheral contour of the blowing head 5, and therefore advantageously extend around the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5 along three-quarters of a circle. This makes it possible to design a protective accessory 19 of reduced size and manufacturing costs, but also makes it possible to arrange the first air blowing outlet 6 in a freer manner, without particular constraints with respect to the shape and dimensions of the protective accessory 19.

[0042] According to another variant, implemented in the example illustrated in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23 , And 18 à 21, the protective accessory 19' is designed and configured to surround the blowing head 5 along the entirety of a peripheral contour of the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 when the protective accessory 19' is fixed to said blowing head 5. The protective accessory 19' therefore advantageously extends around the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5 along a complete circle. In other words, the protective accessory 19' advantageously has, locally or globally, an annular shape closed on itself, within which a portion of the blowing head 5 is intended to be received. All or part of the protective accessory 19' can thus advantageously form a ring or a sleeve intended to be slipped around the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 to assemble and fix the protective accessory 19' to the blowing head 5.Compared to the variant described previously, this variant presents in particular as such the advantage of contributing to ensuring more effective maintenance of the protective accessory 19' in a fixed position, advantageously immobile, relative to the blowing head 5. The protective accessory 19' can thus be fixed in a more reliable and more robust manner to the blowing head 5, with a lower risk of movement or even unexpected disassembly of the protective accessory 19' in the event of impact or interaction with the user or with an element of their environment, during use, storage or even transport of the hairdressing device.

[0043] Preferably, as in the embodiment of the hairdressing appliance 1 illustrated in the figures, the first operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1 corresponds to an operation of the hairdressing appliance 1 in “hairdryer” mode. As such, the first air blowing outlet 6 preferably has an air blowing opening, preferably a single one. For example, as illustrated in the figures, said air blowing opening is of oblong or oval section, and extends for example longitudinally along said axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5, to blow the air flow F in the form of an air blade. Alternatively, said air blowing opening could be for example of circular section, to blow the air flow F in a substantially cylindrical or frustoconical shape.

[0044] Preferably, the blowing head 5 comprises a nozzle 33, for example fixed (irremovable) or on the contrary removable (removable), which defines said first air blowing outlet 6, and which advantageously contributes to effectively guiding the air flow F towards the hair to be treated. Preferably, as illustrated in the figures, at least a portion of said nozzle 33 projects from an external surface of the blowing head 5, and therefore advantageously projects from a surface of said second face 10 of the blowing head 5. Thus, the first air blowing outlet 6 is advantageously easily identifiable by the user. Typically, the nozzle 33 comprises a side wall 34, which defines a lateral contour of the nozzle 33 and which extends to a distal peripheral edge 35 of said nozzle 33.

[0045] According to a particularly preferred variant, implemented in the example illustrated in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23 , And18 à 21, the protective accessory 19' is designed and configured to laterally surround (at least partially, and preferably totally) said nozzle 33, preferably such that the latter does not at least partially protrude outwardly from the blowing head 5 beyond the protective accessory 19' when the latter is attached to the blowing head 5. Thus, when attached to the blowing head 5, the protective accessory 19' not only fulfills a function of protecting the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, but preferably also a function of protecting the nozzle 33 which defines the first air blowing outlet 6.Indeed, by thus laterally enveloping at least partially, and preferably in full, said nozzle 33 at least locally up to the distal peripheral edge 35 of the latter, the protective accessory 19' makes it possible to mechanically protect said nozzle 33 in the event of the hairdressing appliance 1 falling, or in the event of impact or interaction with the user or with an element of his environment, during use, storage or transport of the hairdressing device. When the flow F of air blown via the first air blowing outlet 6 is hot, the nozzle 33 can then have a high temperature. When the protective accessory 19' is attached to the blowing head 5 while the hairdressing appliance 1 is used in its first operating mode, the protective accessory 19' then advantageously offers the user protection against a possible risk of burning or at least discomfort, by limiting the possibility of direct contact between the user and the nozzle 33. Moreover, such a particular design of the protective accessory 19' can advantageously contribute to facilitating the assembly / disassembly of the protective accessory 19' by guiding the installation / removal of the latter, and also contributes to making the maintenance of the protective accessory 19' in the position attached to the blowing head 5 even more effective, robust and reliable.

[0046] In this respect, the protective accessory 19' preferably comprises a nozzle protection portion 36', advantageously connected to the covering portion 20; 20' and fixing portion 21; 21', which is designed and configured to surround (at least partially, and preferably completely) the nozzle 33, preferably such that the latter does not at least partially protrude outwardly from the blowing head 5 beyond the protective accessory 19', and therefore in particular beyond the nozzle protective portion 36', when the latter is fixed to the blowing head 5. The nozzle protective portion 36' is therefore shaped and arranged so as to surround at least a part, and preferably the whole, of the side wall 34 of the nozzle 33, extending at least locally to the distal peripheral edge 35 of the latter, when the protective accessory 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5. For example, as in the example illustrated in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23 , And 18 à 21 , the nozzle protection portion 36' defines a housing 37' (or "nozzle protection housing") which is intended to at least partially receive the nozzle 33. Typically, the nozzle protection portion 36' has a side wall which defines the nozzle protection housing 37' and which is arranged opposite at least part of the side wall 34 of the nozzle 33 when the protection accessory 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5. The nozzle protection portion 36' further advantageously comprises an opening 38', in which or opposite which is inscribed an opening of the nozzle 33 which is delimited by the distal peripheral edge 35, when the protection accessory 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5 ( figure 20). For example, the nozzle protection portion 36' has a generally annular shape, the free interior space of which is defined by the nozzle protection housing 37' and said opening 38'.

[0047] Advantageously, said nozzle protection portion 36' may have an opening 39' for access to said nozzle protection housing 37', which is provided in a side wall of the nozzle protection portion 36' which defines the nozzle protection housing 37', to allow installation, and reciprocally removal, of the protection accessory 19' without contact between the latter and the nozzle 33. For example, as illustrated in the figures, said access opening 39' is formed by the absence of a lower side wall portion of the nozzle protection housing 37'.

[0048] Thus, as illustrated in the example in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23, said protective housing 26' of the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, said free space 29' and said nozzle protective housing 37' together preferentially define a free interior space of the protective accessory 19' intended to receive within it a portion of the blowing head 5 including at least partially (and preferably in full) the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair and the nozzle 33, when the protective accessory 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5.

[0049] Advantageously, the nozzle protection portion 36' is rigid, for example made of rigid plastic material. Alternatively, the nozzle protection portion 36' could be made of elastic plastic material, for example elastomer. Preferably, as in the example illustrated in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23, the nozzle protection portion 36' is made of the same material as said covering portion 20' and fixing portion 21', so that the protection accessory 19' thus forms a single, monolithic part, as envisaged in the above.

[0050] Optionally, the protective accessory 19; 19' may comprise a locking means for locking the protective accessory 19; 19' in the assembled position and fixed to the blowing head 5. Such a locking means is therefore advantageously designed and configured to oppose a disassembly of the protective accessory 19; 19' and the blowing head 5, after the latter have been assembled and fixed to each other, for example by preventing an elastic deformation of the fixing portion 21 of the protective accessory 19 or by opposing the effects of the user exerting a relative separation force aimed at combating friction forces in the case of a forceful fitting of the blowing head 5 into the protective accessory 19'. A positive action by the user against the locking means is therefore necessary in order to authorize disassembly of the protective accessory 19'.Such a locking means contributes to an even more robust and reliable character of the hairdressing device, by limiting the risk of involuntary disassembly of the protective accessory 19; 19', in particular during use of the hairdressing device.

[0051] Obviously, a large number of different designs can be envisaged for such a locking means, in particular depending on the design of the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1. For example, as in the examples illustrated in figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23, said locking means may be formed by a portion 46' (or "locking portion") of the nozzle protection portion 36' of the protection accessory 19' which is elastically deformable so as to cooperate reversibly with a portion of the nozzle 33 to oppose the disassembly of the protection accessory 19'. Said locking portion 46' is therefore designed to evolve between an elastically deformed configuration ("unlocked configuration") and a non-deformed configuration ("locked configuration") to which the locking portion 46' therefore returns elastically. For example, the distal peripheral edge 35 of the nozzle 33 of the hairdressing appliance 1 may comprise a protrusion 47 which projects from said distal peripheral edge 35 and which cooperates with said locking portion 46', during the assembly of the protective accessory 19' to the blowing head 5, to cause an elastic deformation of said locking portion 46' and thus move the latter into the unlocked configuration. Once the protective accessory 19' is assembled and fixed, said protrusion 47 ceases to act with said locking portion 46' so that the latter automatically returns to the locked configuration and then opposes the disassembly of the protective accessory 19' by abutting said locking portion 46' against the protrusion 47. Thus, to disassemble the protective accessory 19', the user must. firstly exert a manual mechanical force against said locking part 46' (for example a manual pinching force of said locking part 46' between the user's fingers) to cause the latter to move from its locked configuration to its unlocked configuration by elastic deformation of said locking part 46', then exert for example said aforementioned relative separation force necessary to combat said friction forces exacerbated by the fixing portion 21' of the protective accessory 19' against the blowing head 5.

[0052] Advantageously, the nozzle protection portion 36' may be provided with a visual indicator system, preferably in the form of symbols such as arrows for example (as illustrated schematically in figures 15 to 18 , 20 And 22), to help the user identify the position of the locking means and the action to be performed (for example a manual pinching force) to cause the required elastic deformation of said locking part 46', and therefore the transition of the latter from its locked configuration to its unlocked configuration.

[0053] Preferably, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the hairdressing appliance 1 comprises a control system 40 for controlling (and in particular for allowing the user to control) a transition of the hairdressing appliance 1 from the first operating mode in which said flow F is blown via said first air blowing outlet 6 to the second operating mode in which said flow F is not blown via said first air blowing outlet 6. Advantageously, said control system 40 is designed to reciprocally control a transition of the hairdressing appliance 1 from said second operating mode to said first operating mode. Thus, said control system 40 is designed to control each transition of the hairdressing appliance 1 from one to the other of the first and second operating modes, and thus to allow the user to alternately select one or the other of the operating modes. The control system 40 is advantageously distinct from the manual control and / or adjustment means 18 of the electrical operation of the hairdressing appliance 1 and of the cold air / hot air switch, as described above, which the hairdressing appliance 1 may possibly comprise. It is thus advantageously possible for the user to select one of the operating modes, while another of the operating modes is selected, prior to the start-up of the blower module 11 of the hairdressing appliance 1, if necessary. The control system 40 is advantageously carried by the blowing head 5, and is preferably positioned along the axis BB' of average extension of the latter. Preferably, at least a portion of an element of the control system 40 forms, or at least contributes to forming, the upper (free) end of the blowing head 5. This allows easy and intuitive activation of the control system by the user.

[0054] Advantageously, the control system 40 for changing the operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1 comprises a manual control member 41, for example a button or a wheel, to allow the user to act on said control system 40, and thus manually select one or the other of said operating modes alternately. Advantageously, the manual control member 41 is mobile, that is to say that it is able to move between at least two advantageously predefined spatial positions and / or orientations (relative to the rest of the hairdressing appliance 1), typically by translation, rotation and / or by tilting under the effect of a manual mechanical action exerted against it by the user. Preferably, as illustrated as an example in the figures, the manual control member 41 is carried by the blowing head 5, and not by the handle 2.This makes it possible to limit a risk of involuntary manipulation of the manual control member by the hand of the user holding the handle 2. More preferably, the manual control member 41 is arranged at such a distance from the handle 2 that it cannot be reached by a finger of the hand of the user holding the handle 2. Inaccessible to a finger of the hand of the user holding the handle 2, the manual control member 41 remains, however, advantageously accessible to a finger of the other hand of the user. More preferably still, still as illustrated in the example figures, the manual control member 41 is arranged substantially along an axis parallel to, or coincident with, the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5, so that it is therefore accessible to the user from above the blowing head 5.

[0055] In a particularly preferential manner, the protective accessory 19; 19' is designed and configured to allow manipulation of the manual control member 41 by the user when the protective accessory 19; 19' is attached to the blowing head 5. In other words, the protective accessory 19; 19' is therefore advantageously designed and configured to be attached in a detachable, removable manner to the blowing head 5 without covering the manual control member 41, so that the latter remains accessible and can be manipulated by the user even when the protective accessory 19; 19' is assembled to the blowing head 5.The protective accessory 19; 19' is therefore devoid of a portion which is interposed between the manual control member 41 and the exterior of the hairdressing appliance 1 when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5 of the latter so as to prevent, or at least hinder, normal manipulation of the manual control member 41 by the user. The use of the hairdressing appliance 1 is thus simplified, since it is not necessary for the user. to manipulate the manual control member 41, to switch the hairdressing appliance 1 into its first operating mode while it is in the second operating mode, before attaching the protective accessory 19; 19' to protect the mechanical engagement element 7 from the hair, or else first disassemble the protective accessory 19; 19' attached to the blowing head 5, to access the manual control member 41 in order to then be able to act on the latter to switch the hairdressing appliance 1 into its first operating mode while it is in its second operating mode.

[0056] Preferably, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 carries at least one second air blowing outlet 42, which is distinct from said first air blowing outlet 6, for blowing a flow F of air out of the hairdressing appliance 1 towards hair which is in contact with the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair. Said second air blowing outlet 42 is therefore advantageously carried by the same face of the blowing head 5 as that which carries the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair (in this case said first face 9 of the latter), and it is designed and configured to direct a flow F of air, typically initiated by the blowing module 11 described above, towards hair which is in contact with the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and in particular therefore with teeth, pins 8 and / or brush bristles of the latter. Thus, while the first operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1 typically forms a first blowing mode, and preferably corresponds to an operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1 in “hairdryer” mode, the second operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1 preferably forms a second blowing mode, and then advantageously corresponds to an operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1 in “blowing brush” mode. The hairdressing appliance 1 thus preferably forms, in said second operating mode, a blowing brush intended to be applied against the hair to subject the latter to a mechanical action by interaction with the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair coupled with an application of said flow F of air, possibly hot.

[0057] Even more preferably, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the second air blowing outlet 42 comprises a plurality of air blowing orifices, that is to say therefore a plurality of air blowing outlet portions, which blowing orifices are carried by, and / or are arranged between, teeth, pins 8 and / or brush bristles that the mechanical hair engagement element 7 comprises. For example, said air blowing orifices may each be formed by a slot (straight or curved) arranged between teeth, pins and / or brush bristles ( figure 4 ). Thus, the air flow F can be optimally blown towards the hair when the latter is engaged with the mechanical hair engagement element 7 during a hairdressing operation.

[0058] When assembled and fixed to the blowing head 5, the protective accessory 19; 19' therefore advantageously covers not only the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, but also at least in part the second air blowing outlet 42. In this respect, it is particularly advantageous to provide, as illustrated in the figures, that the protective accessory 19; 19' comprises, or defines with the blowing head 5, at least one opening (or "air exhaust opening") which ensures aeraulic communication (preferably permanent) of the second air blowing outlet 42 with the environment external to the hairdressing appliance 1 when the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5.The implementation of such an air exhaust opening advantageously contributes to the robustness and reliability of the hairdressing appliance 1, but also to the safety of its use, insofar as it thus allows the “safety” exhaust of the air flow F which could possibly be blown via the second air blowing outlet 42 while the protective accessory 19; 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5, for example in the event of an operating error by the user of the control system 40 for changing the operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1.Furthermore, said air exhaust opening advantageously promotes heat exchanges between the mechanical hair engagement element 7 and the first face 9 of the blowing head 5 on the one hand, and the ambient air on the other hand, to allow good cooling of the mechanical hair engagement element 7 and the blowing head 5 if the latter have been heated under the effect of the flow F of hot air blown in particular by the second air blowing outlet 42. The implementation of such an air exhaust opening proves to be particularly advantageous when, as in the examples illustrated in the figures, the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' defines a housing in which the mechanical hair engagement element 7 is received.Such an air exhaust opening also advantageously promotes good cooling of the protective accessory 19; 19', when the latter has been heated under the effect of the flow F of hot air circulating in the blowing head 5. This advantageously contributes to limiting a risk of deformation and / or deterioration of the protective accessory 19; 19' under the effect of heat, and therefore contributes to improving the robustness and reliability of the protective accessory 19; 19', and more generally of the hairdressing device. This also contributes to the comfort and safety of the user, in the event of contact between the latter and the protective accessory 19; 19'.

[0059] For example, as in the examples of the figures 8 to 10 And 11 à 14 on the one hand, and figures 15 to 17 And 18 à 21 on the other hand, or as in the variant illustrated in figures 22 And 23, the air exhaust opening is carried by the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19', and may be formed in particular by the absence of a lower side wall portion of the protective housing 26; 26' at the lower end 23; 23' of the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19'. Thus, the air exhaust opening may advantageously be merged in whole or in part with said opening 27; 27' for access to the protective housing 26; 26' which is preferentially defined by the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19'. Alternatively, or in a complementary manner as in the variant illustrated in figures 22 And 23, said air exhaust opening, or another air exhaust opening if applicable, is designed and configured to be arranged opposite at least a portion of said second air blowing outlet 42 when the protective accessory 19; 19' is attached to the blowing head 5. Advantageously, said air exhaust opening is provided, preferably in the form of a plurality of air exhaust orifices 20A', through a front wall 20B; 20B' presented by the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19', which front wall 20B; 20B' advantageously defines the bottom of said protective housing 26; 26' and said convex external face as in the illustrated examples. For example, as visible in figures 22 And 23, said air exhaust orifices 20A' may take the form of rectilinear slots, arranged in a staggered manner along said first direction X2-X2' of extension of the covering portion 20' of the protective accessory 19'.

[0060] It is also advantageous to provide, alternatively or preferably in a complementary manner as in the examples illustrated in the figures, that the external face of the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' and / or an external face of the fixing portion 21; 21' of the protective accessory 19; 19' is (are) provided with grooves or ribs 20C; 20C', 21A; 21A'. Indeed, the implementation of such grooves or ribs advantageously makes it possible to increase the contact surface of said external face(s) with the ambient air, and therefore to promote good cooling of the relevant part(s) of the protective accessory 19; 19'. Advantageously, said air exhaust orifices 20A' may be arranged between ribs 20C' carried by the external face of the front wall 20B; 20B' of the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19'.The implementation of such grooves or ribs also promotes good manual gripping of the protective accessory 19; 19' by the user, during assembly / disassembly of the protective accessory 19; 19'.

[0061] Advantageously, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the aforementioned air direction member 14 and the blowing head 5 are preferably mounted to move relative to each other at least between a first air direction configuration (or “first air distribution configuration”) in which the air direction member 14 directs the initiated air flow F towards (and preferably only towards) the first air blowing outlet 6, typically according to a first blowing mode (first operating mode, figures 3 , 5 , 14 And 20), and a second air direction configuration (or “second air distribution configuration”) in which the air direction member 14 directs the initiated air flow F towards (and preferably only towards) the second air blowing outlet 42, reciprocally therefore according to a second blowing mode (second operating mode, figures 1 , 2 , 4 And 6 ).

[0062] The air direction member 14 is thus advantageously designed and configured to define, or at least to contribute to defining, different paths of the air flow F within the hairdressing appliance 1 according to the air direction configuration that it occupies relative to the blowing head 5. Advantageously, the air direction member 14 is configured to deflect the air flow F leaving the air guide channel 13 described previously alternately towards one or the other of the first and second blowing outlets 6, 42, according to the air direction configuration that it occupies relative to the blowing head 5.Preferably, the air directing member 14 comprises a (single and) single air directing outlet 16, as mentioned above, for directing the air flow F, via said air directing outlet 16, towards the first air blowing outlet 6 when the air directing member 14 is in said first air directing configuration (. figures 3 , 5 , 14 And 20 ) and vice versa towards the second air blowing outlet 42 when the air direction member 14 is in said second air direction configuration ( figures 1 , 2 , 4 And 6). In said first air direction configuration, the air direction outlet 16 of the air direction member 14 is thus in airflow communication with the first air blowing outlet 6, while in said second air direction configuration, said air direction outlet 16 is reciprocally in airflow communication with the second air blowing outlet 42. Preferably, the air direction member 14 comprises a (single and) single air inlet 15, as mentioned above, which is connected to the blower module 11 to collect the air flow F initiated by the latter, and therefore regardless of the blowing mode considered.

[0063] Preferably, as already mentioned previously and as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the air direction outlet 16 is designed and configured so that the air flow F entering through the air inlet 15 leaves through the air direction outlet 16 in a mean outlet direction which is intersecting with (or at least arranged in an inclined manner relative to) a mean inlet direction in which the air flow F enters the air direction member 14 through said air inlet 15 ( figures 5 And 6 ), and this therefore regardless of the air direction configuration in which the air direction member 14 is located relative to the blowing head 5.

[0064] The blowing head 5 advantageously comprises, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, a first portion of pipe 43 provided to ensure air communication between the air direction outlet 16 of the air direction member 14 and the first air blowing outlet 6 of the blowing head 5 when the air direction member 14 occupies the first air direction configuration, and a second portion of pipe 44 provided to ensure air communication between said air direction outlet 16 and the second air blowing outlet 42 when the air direction member 14 occupies the second air direction configuration.

[0065] As illustrated in the figures, the blowing head 5 may comprise for this purpose an internal ducting device 45, which at least partly defines said first and second ducting portions 43, 44, and which therefore constitutes a “two-way” internal ducting device (or “two-way distributor”). Said internal ducting device 45 is advantageously fixed, immobile, relative to the first and second air blowing outlets 43, 44 of the blowing head 5. The air directing member 14 and the internal ducting device 45 are therefore mounted to be movable relative to each other between said first and second air directing configurations. Thus, when the air direction member 14 occupies the first air direction configuration, the air direction outlet 16 of the air direction member 14 is in air communication with the first duct portion 43 of the internal duct device 45, and therefore with the first air blowing outlet 6. On the other hand, the air direction member 16 (for example, a side wall of the latter) then closes the second duct portion 44 of the internal duct device 45. Conversely, when the air direction member 14 occupies the second air direction configuration, the air direction outlet 16 of the air direction member 14 is in air communication with the second duct portion 44, and therefore with the second air blowing outlet 42.The air direction member 14 (for example, said side wall of the latter) then closes the first portion of ducting 43 of the internal ducting device 45. Preferably, the air direction member 14 is arranged at least partly in the internal ducting device 45, which contributes to reducing the size of the blowing head 5, and more generally the size of the hairdressing appliance 1.

[0066] Different kinematics of the air direction member 14 and the blowing head 5 can be envisaged, depending in particular on the conformation and configuration of the air direction member 14. Preferably, however, in terms of simplicity of design and use of the hairdressing appliance 1, the blowing head 5 is connected immobile to the handle 2 of the hairdressing appliance 1, and the air direction member 14 is mounted movable relative to the blowing head 5 and to the handle 2 between said first and second air direction configurations. In order in particular to simplify the design of the hairdressing appliance 1 and to improve its compactness, the air direction member 14 and the blowing head 5 are preferably mounted movable in rotation, in pivoting, along an axis CC' of rotation, relative to each other between at least said first and second air direction configurations.Preferably, said axis CC' of rotation is coincident with (collinear to), or at least parallel to, an axis DD' of longitudinal extension of the air direction member 14, which is itself advantageously coincident with (collinear to) the axis BB' of average longitudinal extension of the blowing head 5. According to a variant (not illustrated), the air direction member 14 is connected immobile relative to the handle 2, and the blowing head 5 is then mounted to be able to rotate, along said axis CC' of rotation, relative to the air direction member 14 and to the handle 2. According to another variant, implemented in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the blowing head 5 is connected immobile to the handle 2, and the air direction member 14 is mounted to be able to rotate, along said axis CC' of rotation, relative to the blowing head 5 and to the handle 2.In accordance with the foregoing, this second variant proves preferable insofar as it contributes to making the hairdressing appliance 1 simpler to design and use. In this case, the internal channeling device 45 mentioned above is thus itself advantageously connected immobile to the handle 2 of the hairdressing appliance 1, the air direction member 14 being advantageously arranged to be movable in rotation, along said axis CC' of rotation, in said internal channeling device 45 between said first and second air direction configurations.

[0067] To contribute to a particularly practical and intuitive character to use of the hairdressing appliance 1, the first and second faces 9, 10 of the blowing head 5 (and therefore the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair and the second air blowing outlet 42 if applicable on the one hand, and the first air blowing outlet 6 on the other hand) are preferably arranged opposite each other, and even more preferably on either side of a plane P1 in which the axis BB' of average extension of the blowing head 5 is inscribed. In this way, the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair and the second air blowing outlet 42 if applicable on the one hand, and the first air blowing outlet 6 on the other hand, are thus advantageously not simultaneously visible to the user, when the latter looks at the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and respectively the first air blowing outlet 6.The user can easily use the hairdressing appliance 1 alternately according to the first operating mode or according to the second operating mode, typically by a simple 180° rotation of the handle 2 of the hairdressing appliance 1 to orient that of said first and second faces 9, 10 of the corresponding blowing head 5 opposite the hair to be treated.

[0068] Advantageously, the aforementioned control system 40 of the hairdressing appliance 1 is designed and configured to control each passage of the hairdressing appliance 1 from one to the other of the first and second air direction configurations. The control system 40 is therefore provided to allow the user to alternately select one or the other of the blowing modes, that is to say to control the passage of the hairdressing appliance 1 from one of the blowing modes to another of the blowing modes, and for example from the first blowing mode to the second blowing mode and vice versa from the second blowing mode to the first blowing mode. In this respect, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the control system 40 is advantageously connected to the air direction member 14 to control each passage of the air direction member 14 from one to the other of said first and second aforementioned air direction configurations.By acting on the control system 40, the user can thus alternately select one or other of the blowing modes of the hairdressing appliance 1 from among said at least two different blowing modes. The user can thus advantageously choose via which of the first and second air blowing outlets 6, 42 the air flow F will be blown out of the hairdressing appliance 1, and thus choose the blowing mode of the hairdressing appliance 1.

[0069] Advantageously, as in the embodiment illustrated in the figures, the control system 40 of the hairdressing appliance 1 is a push-push button control mechanism (or “push-push kinematic control mechanism”, or “button control mechanism”). push-push"), to thus control each transition of the hairdressing appliance 1 from one of the operating modes to another of the operating modes. Intended to be actuated by the user, for example manually, the control system 40 is therefore designed and configured to transform each push exerted by the user (typically using a finger of the user) on the button of the control system 40 into a transition of the hairdressing appliance 1 from one of the operating modes to another of the operating modes or, at the very least, from one of the operating modes to another of the operating modes. The button of the control system 40 then advantageously forms said manual control member 41 mentioned above. As in the embodiment illustrated in the figures where the first and second operating modes of the hairdressing appliance 1 correspond respectively to first and second blowing modes, the push-push button control mechanism is thus advantageously connected to the air direction member 14 to control each passage of the air direction member 14 from one to the other of the first and second air direction configurations.

[0070] Thanks to such a push-push button control mechanism, the use of the hairdressing appliance 1 is thus particularly simple and intuitive, since the reproduction of a simple pushing action carried out by the user against the button of the control mechanism, each time in the same pushing direction, controls each change of operating mode of the hairdressing appliance 1. Each push exerted by the user on the button of the control mechanism thus controls a cyclical passage of the hairdressing appliance 1 from a given initial operating (or blowing) mode to a following operating (or blowing) mode, and so on, until returning to said initial operating (or blowing) mode after the control mechanism has been successively actuated as many times as the hairdressing appliance 1 has different operating (or blowing) modes.Advantageously, said push-push button control system / mechanism 40 conforms, at least in its operating principle, to that described in documents WO-2022 / 263775 A1, WO-2022 / 263774 A1, WO-2023 / 118682 A1 and WO-2023 / 118683 A1 in the name of SEB SA, the content of which is therefore advantageously incorporated here by reference.

[0071] The invention also relates, as such, to a protective accessory 19; 19' for a hairdressing appliance 1 comprising at least one blowing head 5 which carries at least one first air blowing outlet 6 for blowing a flow F of air out of the hairdressing appliance 1 and a mechanical hair engagement element 7 intended to come into contact with hair to help shape said hair. According to the invention, said protective accessory 19; 19' is intended to protect said mechanical hair engagement element 7, and said protective accessory is designed and configured to be detachably attached to the blowing head 5 so as to cover said mechanical hair engagement element 7 of the hairdressing appliance 1 without covering said first air blowing outlet 6.

[0072] Advantageously, said hairdressing appliance 1 on the one hand, and said protective accessory 19; 19' on the other hand, are in accordance with the hairdressing appliance 1 and the protective accessory 19; 19' respectively described above in connection with the hairdressing device 1 according to the invention. The description given above of the hairdressing appliance 1 and the protective accessory 19; 19' of the hairdressing device 1 according to the invention therefore applies mutatis mutandis to the protective accessory 19; 19' according to the invention, and vice versa.

[0073] The protective accessory 19; 19' according to the invention can be advantageously used in combination with a hairdressing appliance 1 which was initially devoid of means of protecting its mechanical hair engagement element 7, for example when it was acquired, to allow a user to thus form a hairdressing device in accordance with the invention, with the effects and advantages already presented in the above.

[0074] Advantageously, the protective accessory 19; 19' comprises a covering portion 20; 20' for covering said mechanical engagement element 7 when the protective accessory 19; 19' is detachably attached to the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1, and attachment means (or an attachment portion 21; 21') for attaching said protective accessory 19; 19' detachably to said blowing head 5, preferably by reversible elastic fitting ( figures 8 to 10 , And 11 à 14), or even more preferably, by force fitting the blowing head 5 into the protective accessory 19' ( figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23 , And 18 à 21 ).

[0075] Preferably, as described above, said protective accessory 19; 19' forms a single part, advantageously monolithic (i.e. monobloc), for example made of plastic material(s).

[0076] Preferably, as in the variants of the figures 8 to 10 on the one hand and figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23, on the other hand, the covering portion 20; 20' of the protective accessory 19; 19' defines a protective housing 26; 26', intended (or at least capable) of receiving at least in part (and preferably in full) the mechanical engagement element 7 of the hair, and in particular the teeth and / or pins 8 and / or brush bristles of the latter, preferably therefore without contact of the latter with a wall (bottom wall and / or side wall) defining said protective housing 26; 26'.

[0077] As in the variant of the figures 8 to 10, said reversible elastic fitting fixing means may be constituted by a fixing portion 21 which the protective accessory 19 comprises and which forms an elastically deformable clamp, said fixing portion 21 comprising in this respect at least two opposite tabs 28A, 28B (or “legs” or even “jaws”), for example which each extend the covering portion 20 of the protective accessory 19, and which are capable of moving away from each other by elastic deformation during assembly / disassembly of the protective accessory 19 to the blowing head 5, then of automatically returning to a close configuration, in particular so that said tabs 28A, 28B then grip (i.e. pinch) between them a portion of the blowing head 5.

[0078] As in the variant of the figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23, said force-fitting fixing means may be constituted by a fixing portion 21' which comprises the protective accessory 19' and which forms or contributes to forming a sheath, said fixing portion 21' thus has one or more internal faces which define(s) a free space 29' intended to receive a portion of the blowing head 5 during the fixing of the protective accessory 19' to the latter, the internal face(s) being intended to be arranged opposite, and in contact with, the surface of the blowing head 5, to therefore ensure a detachable fixing of the protective accessory 19' to the blowing head 5 under the effect of friction forces which are exerted between the protective accessory 19' and the blowing head 5.Advantageously, said free space 29' has a generally frustoconical shape, intended to cooperate with a corresponding generally frustoconical shape of a portion of the blowing head 5 at the level of which the protective accessory 19' is intended to be fixed.

[0079] Preferably, as in the variant of the figures 15 to 17 , 22 And 23 and as described previously in connection with the hairdressing device according to the invention, the protective accessory 19' is designed and configured to surround the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance along the entirety of a peripheral contour of said blowing head 5 when the protective accessory 19' is fixed to the blowing head 5. The protective accessory 19' advantageously has, in this respect, locally or globally, an annular shape closed on itself, within which a portion of the blowing head 5 is intended to be received.

[0080] It should be noted that the terms " first / first " And " second » used in the foregoing are not intended, as such, to introduce any technical limitation, but only to facilitate the understanding of the invention. As such, these terms may be omitted where there is no possible confusion. For example, in the event that the blowing head 5 of the hairdressing appliance 1 does not include any other air blowing outlet than said first air blowing outlet 6, the term " first » can then be omitted when designating this single air blowing outlet 6.
