Abstract
The invention relates to a gas deoiling element (1), in particular an air deoiling element, and to an oil separation and reconditioning device (3) comprising said gas deoiling element, for separating oil droplets from a gas such as preferably air, wherein a cross-sectional constriction, for example in the form of an aperture (2), is arranged in the region in which the gas-oil mixture enters the gas deoiling element. The invention also relates to an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump (4) which has a gas deoiling element (1) according to the invention, whereby the service life of the plain bearings is lengthened; to a method for operating the oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump (4) according to the invention; to a method for exchanging the gas deoiling element (1) in said oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump (4); to the use of a cross-sectional constriction, in particular an aperture, in a gas deoiling element according to the invention in order to lengthen the service life of the plain bearing in an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump; and to the use of a gas deoiling element according to the invention in an oil-lubricated rotary vane vacuum pump in order to lengthen the service life of the plain bearing.
