Abstract
Description
Hot air cooking appliance with a removable fixing device Field of invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a hot air cooking appliance. In particular, the present invention relates to a device for removably fixing a cooking container on a support that can be inserted horizontally into the hot air cooking appliance. Prior art
[0002] It is known to use a cooking vessel when preparing a cooking recipe. The cooking vessel is intended to be placed in a hot air cooking appliance.
[0003] The cooking container is also intended to hold a set of foods that can be arranged at different times during the preparation of the recipe.
[0004] For example, a first cooking can only concern certain foods in the recipe. It is then necessary to remove the cooking container from the hot air cooking appliance to add other foods from the recipe.
[0005] This presents a challenge for the user, as they have to handle the hot cooking container. The user may lack space or a support to place the hot cooking container outside the hot air cooker while adding other food.
[0006] Furthermore, the correct positioning of the cooking container in the hot air cooking appliance and its maintenance in position are important for the use of food processing tools and corresponding drive systems.
[0007] These manipulations can be dangerous and result in splashes or burns.
[0008] The present invention aims to resolve all or part of the drawbacks mentioned above.
[0009] To this end, the present invention relates to a hot air cooking appliance comprising:
[0010] a frame generating a cooking chamber, a door capable of closing the cooking chamber, a heat source and a fan configured to generate a flow of air heated by the heat source in the cooking chamber,
[0011] a support suitable for being inserted into the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance, the hot air cooking appliance including a device for positioning the support in the cooking chamber,
[0012] a cooking vessel having a bottom and a side wall extending from the bottom,
[0013] a removable fixing device for securing the cooking container to the support, the removable fixing device being configured to hold the cooking container on the support in a predetermined position while allowing the assembly formed by the support and the cooking container to be inserted and removed from the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance.
[0014] This arrangement facilitates the correct positioning of the cooking container in the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance because the cooking container is arranged at a predetermined location on the support defined by the arrangement of the removable fixing device.
[0015] Furthermore, the cooking container does not slide on the support when it is inserted into the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance.
[0016] Preferably, the support is arranged to be inserted horizontally into the hot air cooking appliance and to support the cooking container.
[0017] According to one aspect of the invention, the removable attachment device is configured to dispose the cooking vessel in an indexed position relative to the support during positioning.
[0018] In other words, the cooking vessel always has the same position and orientation relative to the support when positioned on the support. The indexed position corresponds to a holding position between the cooking vessel and the support.
[0019] Since the position of the cooking vessel in relation to the support is always the same, it is possible to limit the size of the support in relation to the cooking vessel.
[0020] For example, the hot air cooking appliance may have a cooking chamber that is smaller than the size or volume occupied by the cooking container. This improves cooking efficiency. The size of the hot air cooking appliance is also limited.
[0021] Furthermore, the fact that the cooking container is always in the same place allows the use of food processing tools and corresponding drive systems without additional handling.
[0022] It is possible to provide a drive system fixed relative to the cooking chamber capable of setting in motion a tool mounted mobile in the cooking container. The cooking container remains in place during use of the tool working the food.
[0023] According to one aspect of the invention, the removable fixing device comprises a first part attached to or formed in the support and a second part attached to or formed in the cooking container.
[0024] This arrangement allows the removable attachment device to be integrated into the support and the cooking vessel. This eliminates the need for a separate removable attachment device to be mounted on the cooking vessel and the support.
[0025] According to one aspect of the invention, the removable attachment device is configured to allow bayonet-type retention and removal between the cooking vessel and the support.
[0026] In other words, the hold between the cooking vessel and the support is achieved by the combination of a movement transverse to the support and a movement parallel to the support of the cooking vessel.
[0027] This arrangement allows for intuitive setup for the user, requiring no further manipulation than moving the cooking container relative to the support.
[0028] According to one aspect of the invention, the first part has at least one ramp capable of cooperating with at least one rib of the second part to define the bayonet-type cooperation. Conversely, the at least one ramp may be included in the second part and the at least one rib in the first part.
[0029] According to one aspect of the invention, the bayonet-type retaining and removal are elastic. Preferably, the first part has at least one tab configured to deform so as to enter at least one corresponding notch of the second part to allow retention. The at least one tab is configured to deform to exit the at least one notch so as to allow removal.
[0030] Alternatively, the at least one notch may be included in the first part and the at least one tab in the second part.
[0031] According to one aspect of the invention, the removable fixing device comprises at least one locking mechanism capable of holding the cooking container and the support together.
[0032] This arrangement improves the safety and ease of inserting and removing the cooking container from the hot air cooking appliance.
[0033] According to one aspect of the invention, the at least one locking mechanism comprises an orifice secured to the support, a lug movable between a rest position and a retracted position and arranged to interact with the orifice, and an unlocking button movable between a rest position and an actuated position and linked to the movable lug so that when the unlocking button occupies its rest position then the movable lug occupies its rest position and holds the cooking container on the support when the lug is arranged in the orifice, and when the unlocking button occupies its actuated position then the movable lug occupies its retracted position and releases the cooking container from the support when the lug is arranged in the orifice.
[0034] The unlock button is configured to be operated by a user.
[0035] According to one aspect of the invention, the at least one locking mechanism comprises a return part arranged to return the movable lug and the unlocking button to their rest position.
[0036] Preferably, the return part comprises at least one spring and is connected to both the release button and the lug.
[0037] According to one aspect of the invention, the cooking container comprises two lateral extensions attached to the side wall symmetrically relative to a transverse plane of the cooking container extending transversely to the bottom, each lateral extension comprising a handle for handling the cooking container.
[0038] This arrangement facilitates the placement of the cooking container on the support and also the arrangement of the assembly consisting of the support and the cooking container in the hot air cooking appliance by horizontal insertion.
[0039] According to one aspect of the invention, the second part of the removable fixing device comprises two separate units, each unit being included in a corresponding lateral extension.
[0040] According to one aspect of the invention, the support has two lateral uprights extending transversely to a support surface of the support capable of receiving the cooking vessel, each lateral upright being arranged to cooperate with a corresponding lateral extension when positioning the cooking vessel on the support.
[0041] The side uprights are visual cues for the user who will intuitively understand that the side extensions must cooperate with the side uprights to place the cooking container on the support.
[0042] According to one aspect of the invention, the first part of the removable fixing device comprises two separate units, each unit being at least partly formed in a corresponding lateral upright.
[0043] The complementary ramps and ribs and the complementary legs and notches are distributed in the two side uprights and side extensions. There is symmetry between these parts with respect to the transverse plane when the cooking vessel is positioned on the support.
[0044] According to one aspect of the invention, each side extension includes a corresponding locking mechanism.
[0045] Preferably, each lateral upright has a bearing surface arranged to move the lug from the rest position to the retracted position and an orifice capable of receiving the lug in the holding position so as to lock the holding.
[0046] Removal requires the use of the release buttons. In particular, the release buttons are provided on or near the operating handles so as to allow the operating handles to be grasped and the release buttons to be pressed simultaneously.
[0047] Alternatively, the side uprights do not have support surfaces and moving from the holding position to the retracted position requires pressing the release buttons.
[0048] According to one aspect of the invention, the positioning device comprises a slide of the hot air cooking appliance configured to removably cooperate with two lateral shoulders of the hot air cooking appliance.
[0049] It appears that the support may be removable and, depending on the case, cooperate directly with the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance or with a slide of the hot air cooking appliance. The slide comprises one or two fixed lateral elements attached to or arranged in the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance and one or two movable elements capable of cooperating with the fixed lateral elements and the support.
[0050] According to one aspect of the invention, the support has a front projection for inserting or removing the support from the hot air cooking appliance. The support has a rectangular outline, the side uprights being on two opposite sides and the front projection on a side transverse to the two previous ones.
[0051] According to one aspect of the invention, the support is a cooking plate adapted to receive food to be cooked in the hot air cooking appliance.
[0052] Preferably, the cooking plate is a grill type for food such as meat. The support can therefore be used without a cooking vessel to cook certain foods. The support therefore has a dual function.
[0053] Alternatively, the support can be a simple grid or a drawer-shaped plate.
[0054] According to one aspect of the invention, the cooking container is provided with a blade and an upper rim attached to the side wall, the upper rim comprising a wheel that is mobile in rotation and integral in rotation with the blade relative to the upper rim, the upper rim having a peripheral opening shaped to provide access to the wheel of a blade drive device arranged in the hot air cooking appliance.
[0055] This arrangement allows the food to be mixed during cooking in the hot air cooking appliance. Furthermore, the cooking container does not have an internal axis and is centered in relation to the center of rotation of the blade.
[0056] According to one aspect of the invention, the wheel has gears capable of cooperating with complementary gears of the drive device.
[0057] According to one aspect of the invention, the drive device comprises a pinion and a rotary motor configured to rotate the pinion. The pinion rotates about an axis offset from the axis of rotation of the blade and outside the cooking container.
[0058] Preferably, the rotary motor and the pinion are included in the hot air cooking appliance and arranged to cooperate with the wheel. In particular, the fact that the cooking container is in the same indexed position allows this cooperation by making the positions of the wheel and the pinion coincide.
[0059] According to one aspect of the invention, the frame is capable of being arranged on a work surface, the door being rotatable along an axis parallel to the work surface, the door having an external gripping bar for opening and closing the door, said axis and said external gripping bar being arranged so that the door can be arranged in a fully open position in which the external gripping bar rests on the work surface and the support is capable of sliding horizontally relative to the frame of the hot air cooking appliance and of being arranged in a loading position in which the support is at least partly removed from the cooking chamber of the hot air cooking appliance and rests on the door.
[0060] The loading position allows the door and external grip bar to be used to support the rack which is at least partly outside the cooking chamber.
[0061] This allows the holder to support the empty cooking vessel or one containing food. The loading position also allows the holder to be held in place when positioning or removing the cooking vessel.
[0062] The different aspects defined above, which are not incompatible, can be combined. Brief description of the figures

[0091] The return part comprises at least one spring and is connected to the unlocking button 25 and to the lug 23.
[0092] The cooking container 9 comprises two lateral extensions 27 attached to the side wall 13 in a symmetrical manner relative to a transverse plane 29 of the cooking container 9 extending transversely to the bottom 11, each lateral extension 27 comprising a handling handle 31 of the cooking container 9.
[0093] The second part 19 of the removable fixing device 15 comprises two separate units, each unit being included in a corresponding lateral extension 27.
[0094] The support 5 has two lateral uprights 33 extending transversely to a support surface 35 of the support capable of receiving the cooking container 9, each lateral upright 33 being arranged to cooperate with a corresponding lateral extension 27 when positioning the cooking container 9 on the support 5.
[0095] The side uprights 33 are visual cues for the user who will intuitively understand that the side extensions 27 must cooperate with the side uprights 33 for placing the cooking container 9 on the support 5.
[0096] The first part 17 of the removable fixing device 15 comprises two separate units, each unit being at least partly formed in a corresponding lateral upright 33.
[0097] In an embodiment in which the removable fixing device 15 is configured to allow bayonet-type holding and removal between the cooking container 9 and the support 5, then the complementary ramps and ribs and the complementary tabs and notches are distributed in the two lateral uprights 33 and lateral extensions 27. There is symmetry between these parts with respect to the transverse plane 29 when the cooking container 9 is held on the support 5.
[0098] In an embodiment in which the removable fixing device 15 comprises at least one locking mechanism 21 capable of holding the cooking container 9 and the support 5 together, then each lateral extension 27 includes a corresponding locking mechanism 21. Each lateral upright 33 has a bearing surface arranged to move the lug 23 from the rest position to the retracted position and an orifice 37 capable of receiving the lug 23 in the holding position so as to lock the holding.
[0099] Removal requires the use of the release buttons 25. The release buttons 25 are provided on or near the handling handles 31 so as to allow the handling handles 31 to be grasped and the release buttons 25 to be pressed simultaneously.
[0100] Alternatively, the side uprights 33 do not have bearing surfaces and the transition from the retracted position to the holding position requires the user to press the unlocking buttons 25.
[0101] As illustrated in the, the support 5 is configured to be removable from a slide 39 of the hot air cooking appliance 3 or is configured to cooperate in a removably manner with two lateral shoulders 41 of the hot air cooking appliance 3.

The slide 39 comprises one or two fixed lateral elements 43 attached to or arranged in the cooking chamber 7 of the hot air cooking appliance 3 and one or two mobile elements 45 capable of cooperating with the fixed lateral elements 43 and the support 5.
[0103] The support 5 has a front projection 47 for inserting or removing the support 5 from the hot air cooking appliance 3. The support 5 has a rectangular outline, the side uprights 33 being on two opposite sides and the front projection 47 on a side transverse to the two previous ones.
[0104] The support 5 is a cooking plate adapted to receive food to be cooked in the hot air cooking appliance 3. The cooking plate is of the grill type for food such as meat. The support 5 can thus be used without a cooking container 9 to cook certain foods. The support 5 therefore has a dual function.
[0105] Alternatively, the support 5 may be a simple grid or a drawer-shaped plate.
[0106] As illustrated in Figures 3, 4 and 9, the cooking container 9 may be provided with a blade 49 and an upper rim 51 attached to the side wall 13. In this case, the upper rim 51 comprises a wheel 53 movable in rotation and integral in rotation with the blade 49 relative to the upper rim 51, the upper rim 51 having a peripheral opening shaped to give access to the wheel 53 to a drive device 55 of the blade 49 arranged in the hot air cooking appliance 3.
[0107] This arrangement allows the food to be mixed during cooking in the hot air cooking appliance 3. Furthermore, the cooking container 9 is not provided with an internal axis and centered relative to the center of rotation of the blade 49.
[0108] The wheel 53 has gears capable of cooperating with complementary gears of the drive device 55.
[0109] The drive device 55 comprises a pinion 57 and a rotary motor 59 configured to rotate the pinion 57. The pinion 57 rotates along an axis offset from the axis of rotation of the blade 49 and outside the cooking container 9.
[0110] The rotary motor 59 and the pinion 57 are included in the hot air cooking appliance 3 and arranged to cooperate with the wheel 3. The fact that the cooking container 9 is in the same indexed position allows this cooperation by making the positions of the wheel 53 and the pinion 57 coincide.
[0111] The hot air cooking appliance 3 comprises a frame 61 generating the cooking chamber 7 and a door 63 capable of closing the cooking chamber 7. The hot air cooking appliance 3 also comprises a heat source such as a heating resistor 65.
[0112] The door 63 allows the support 5 to be inserted inside the cooking chamber 7, the door 63 then being able to be closed.
[0113] As illustrated in Figures 1 and 5, the frame 61 is capable of being arranged on a work surface, the door 63 being movable in rotation along an axis parallel to the work surface, the door 63 having an external gripping bar 67 for opening and closing the door 63.
[0114] Said axis and said external gripping bar 67 are arranged so that the door 63 can be arranged in a fully open position in which the external gripping bar 67 rests on the work surface and the support 5 is able to slide horizontally relative to the frame 61 of the hot air cooking appliance 3 and to be arranged in a loading position in which the support 5 is at least partly removed from the cooking chamber 7 of the hot air cooking appliance 3 and rests on the door 63.
[0115] The loading position makes it possible to take advantage of the door 63 and the external gripping bar 67 to support the support 5 which is at least partly outside the cooking chamber 7.
[0116] Thus, it is possible for the support 5 to support the cooking container 9 empty or containing food. The loading position also allows the support 5 to be held in place when holding or removing the cooking container 9.
[0117] The hot air cooking appliance 3 thus described is advantageous. The positioning of the cooking container 9 in the cooking chamber 7 of the hot air cooking appliance 3 is simple because the cooking container 9 is arranged at a predetermined location of the support 5 defined by the arrangement of the removable fixing device 15.
[0118] Furthermore, the cooking container 9 does not slide on the support 5 when inserted into the cooking chamber 7 of the hot air cooking appliance 3.
[0119] Since the position of the cooking container 9 relative to the support 5 is always the same, it is possible to limit the size of the support 5 relative to the cooking container 9.
[0120] As goes without saying, the invention is not limited to the single embodiment described above as an example; on the contrary, it encompasses all variant embodiments.
