[0003] The invention relates to panels for modular panel walls with limited weight, which can be built up simply and quickly without additional material requirements (in terms of tools).

[0005] Well-known panel systems exist in many forms and face a variety of problems.

[0006] A number of systems are cumbersome and heavy, making them difficult to manipulate by a user when setting up and dismantling. Although this often ensures the stability of the construction, it is detrimental to the efficiency of set-up, it is often not ergonomically responsible, and it is more demanding in terms of material requirements and set-up requires many separate parts. Moreover, for safety, in such embodiments it will be necessary to anchor items to the floor, walls or other things, which in addition often requires additional tools.

[0007] Other systems aim to provide a lightweight solution, but lack stability. To make them stand upright and stand still, the panels must then be fixed to another structure, or hung, for example. [0011] In a first aspect the invention concerns an improved panel for wall construction, comprising: a. a substantially flat, internal frame comprising at least two longitudinal profiles and at least two transverse profiles, the longitudinal and transverse profiles being perpendicular to each other and lying in one plane, wherein the frame comprises a bottom, a top and two sides, wherein the longitudinal profiles extend along the sides, and at least two of the transverse profiles extend along the bottom and the top; b. a first plate attached to the frame on a first side, comprising a top, a bottom and two sides, wherein the first plate optionally extends relative to the frame at the top, bottom and preferably at the sides of the frame; c. a second plate attached to the frame on a second side, opposite to the first side, comprising a top, a bottom and two sides, wherein the second plate optionally extends relative to the frame at the top and bottom (and preferably at the sides) of the frame, and the first plate is symmetrical with the second plate relative to the frame; d. an elongated upper alignment strip suitable to be provided at the top of the frame and preferably between the first and the second plate, and to be attached to the top of the frame and more preferably to the first and the second plate; e. an elongated lower alignment strip suitable to be provided at the bottom of the frame and preferably at least partially between the first and the second plate, and to be attached to the bottom of the frame and more preferably to the first and the second plate; f. an elongated support strip, suitable for providing at the bottom of the lower alignment strip;

Claims

CLAIMS1. A panel for wall construction, the panel comprising: a. a substantially flat, internal frame comprising at least two longitudinal profiles and at least two transverse profiles, the longitudinal and transverse profiles being perpendicular to each other and lying in one plane, wherein the frame comprises a bottom, a top and two sides, wherein the longitudinal profiles extend along the sides, and at least two of the transverse profiles extend along the bottom and the top; b. a first plate attached to the frame on a first side, comprising a top, a bottom and two sides, wherein the first plate optionally extends relative to the frame at least at the top and bottom of the frame, and preferably at the sides; c. a second plate attached to the frame on a second side, opposite to the first side, comprising a top, a bottom and two sides, wherein the second plate optionally extends relative to the frame at least at the top and bottom of the frame, and preferably at the sides, and the first plate is symmetrical with the second plate relative to the frame; d. an elongated upper alignment strip suitable to be provided at the top of the frame and preferably between the first and the second plate, and to be attached to the top of the frame and more preferably to the first and the second plate; e. an elongated lower alignment strip suitable to be provided at the bottom of the frame and preferably at least partially between the first and the second plate, and to be attached to the bottom of the frame and more preferably to the first and the second plate; f. an elongated support strip, suitable for providing at the bottom of the lower alignment strip; wherein the lower alignment strip extends with a first end beyond a side of the first and second plates, and wherein the lower alignment strip at the second end comprises a recess dimensioned to receive the first end; wherein the upper alignment strip is provided with a first coupling element at a first end and a second coupling element at the second end, wherein the first coupling element extends beyond a side of the first and second plates, and the second coupling element extends to near the opposite side of the first and second plates, and wherein the first coupling element is positioned and configured to hook into a second coupling element;wherein the support strip or the lower alignment strip and the upper alignment strip or a top strip, suitable to be provided above the upper alignment strip at the top of the frame and to be attached to the upper alignment strip, comprise a groove along the length thereof, at the front and optionally at the rear, which groove is suitable for retaining a thickened hem of a canvas.

2. The panel according to the preceding claim 1, further comprising one or more elongated lateral alignment strips, wherein the first and second plates protrude at the sides relative to the frame, and wherein the lateral alignment strips are adapted to be provided on a first side of the frame and between the first and the second plates, and to be attached to the first side of the frame and to the first and the second plates, wherein the lateral alignment strip protrudes at least partially with respect to the plates on the first side of the plates for at least 25%, preferably at least 50%, and more preferably at least 75% of the length of the first side of the plates, wherein the distance over which the lateral alignment strip extends relative to the plates substantially corresponds to the distance between the second side of the frame and the second side of the plates, preferably comprising one or more additional elongated lateral alignment strips for the second side of the panel.

3. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 or 2, wherein the lower alignment strip is provided with a protrusion at the first end, wherein the protrusion extends beyond the side of the first and second plates, and extends from the top of the first end of the lower alignment strip, and preferably wherein the protrusion is tapered, wherein the recess is provided at the second end, directly under the bottom of the frame, wherein the recess has a depth relative to the nearest side of the first and second plates that substantially corresponds to the distance over which the protrusion extends relative to the nearest side of the first and second plates.

4. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 3, wherein the alignment strips are attached to the first and second plates by a releasable nut-bolt coupling, preferably via rampa nuts.

5. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 4, wherein the alignment strips are attached to the frame by a releasable nut-bolt coupling, preferably via rampa nuts.

6. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 5, wherein the upper alignment strip comprises an elongated top strip, suitable to be provided above the upper alignment strip at the top of the frame and to be attached to the upper alignment strip, preferably attachable to the upper alignment strip with a releasable nut-bolt coupling, preferably via rampa nuts, wherein the top strip comprises a recess at the ends positioned above the coupling elements.

7. The panel according to the preceding claim 6, wherein the support strip or lower alignment strip is provided with a groove on the front and rear, which groove runs over the length of the support strip or lower alignment strip, and the groove is suitable for receiving and retaining therein a thickened hem of a canvas; wherein the top strip or upper alignment strip is provided with a groove on the front and rear, which groove runs over the length of the top strip or upper alignment strip, and the groove is suitable for receiving and retaining therein a thickened hem of a canvas.

8. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 7, wherein the panel further comprises one or more elongated side strips, the side strip suitable to be provided on a side of the frame and preferably between the first and the second plate, and to be attached to the side of the frame and more preferably to the first and the second plate, the side strip comprising a groove at the front and / or rear, which groove runs along the length of the side strip; preferably wherein the grooves further comprise a perpendicular branch at at least one end, to the bottom of the upper alignment strip or the top strip, and to the top of the support strip or lower alignment strip; and wherein the groove of the side strip, when attached to the panel, preferably via rampa nuts, connects to the branches of the support strip and of the upper alignment strip or top strip.

9. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 8, wherein the support strip is provided with two or more height-adjustable feet at the bottom.

10. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 9, wherein the lower alignment strip is configured to be connected to the upper alignment strip of another panel according to the preceding claims.

11. The panel according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 10, wherein the first coupling element is hook-shaped with the opening directed downwards, andwherein the second coupling element is hook-shaped with the opening directed upwards.

12. An assembly of two or more panels according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 11, wherein the first coupling elements of a first of the panels are suitable for hooking into the second coupling element of another of the panels, and wherein the protrusion of the first of the panels or the other of the panels is thereby received in the recess of the other of the panels or the first of the panels.

13. The assembly of two or more panels according to any of the preceding claims 1 to 11, preferably according to the preceding claim 12, further comprising a corner panel for connecting two of the panels, the corner panel comprising a top and a bottom that form a corner, and two sides, wherein the corner panel at the top comprises an upper corner alignment strip with a first or second coupling element at one end and a first or second coupling element at the other end, preferably each time a first or a second coupling element and more preferably each time a second coupling element suitable for hooking a first coupling element thereon; wherein the corner panel at the bottom comprises a lower corner alignment strip with a recess at the first and second ends suitable for receiving the protrusion of a lower alignment strip of the panels.

14. The assembly according to the preceding claim 13, further comprising a corner top strip suitable for provision and attachment above the upper corner alignment strip, wherein the corner top strip comprises a recess positioned above the coupling elements of the upper corner alignment strip.

15. The assembly according to the preceding claim 13 or 14, comprising a corner support strip, wherein the corner support strip or lower corner alignment strip is provided at both ends with a groove, at the front and optionally at the rear, and the groove is suitable for receiving and retaining therein a thickened hem of a canvas; and wherein the upper corner alignment strip or the corner top strip is provided at both ends with a groove, at the front and optionally at the rear, and the groove is suitable for receiving and retaining therein a thickened hem of a canvas; and wherein the corner panel comprises two panel attachments configured to couple with a side of the panels of substantially the same length as the plates, and coupled together at an angle, wherein the panel attachments at the frontand optionally at the rear comprise a groove that extends over the length of the panel attachments; wherein the groove of the first end of the corner support strip is L-shaped and extends from a first side of the corner panel over a first panel attachment, and connects to the groove of the first panel attachment at the bottom, and wherein the groove of the first end of the upper corner alignment strip is L-shaped and extends from the first side of the corner panel over the first panel attachment, and connects to the groove of the first panel attachment at the top; wherein the groove of the second end of the corner support strip is L-shaped and extends from a second side of the corner panel over the second panel attachment, and connects to the groove of the second panel attachment at the bottom, and wherein the groove of the second end of the upper corner alignment strip is L-shaped and extends from the second side of the corner panel over the second panel attachment, and connects to the groove of the second panel attachment at the top.
