Abstract
Description
TECHNICAL FIELD
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of electronic heating and atomization, and more particularly to an electronic heating atomization assembly and device.THE RELATED ART
[0002] An electronic heating atomization device is a device that uses electrical heating to atomize liquid, thereby transforming the liquid into a gaseous state. Primarily, electrical energy is employed to heat the atomizable liquid to its boiling point, generating atomized vapor. This atomized vapor then mixes with air to form an aerosol substance. While such devices are currently primarily applied in the field of electronic cigarettes, there is a trend of expanding their application to areas such as cosmetics and medical treatments. Typically, an electronic heating atomization device comprises a liquid guide member, a heating member, and a liquid storage chamber for storing the liquid. During operation, the liquid guide member transports the liquid from the liquid storage chamber to the heating member. Upon being electrified, the heating member generates heat and atomizes the liquid. As the liquid in the liquid storage chamber is consumed, the headspace inside the liquid storage chamber becomes larger, leading to a decrease in air pressure within the headspace. Since the external atmospheric pressure is higher than the internal air pressure of the liquid storage chamber, outside air tends to enter the liquid storage chamber through gaps, connecting the liquid storage chamber to the exterior, in the device. This incoming air can occupy portions of the liquid guide channels within the liquid guide member, resulting in impeded liquid conduction and affecting the liquid supply of the liquid guide member.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In other instances, detailed descriptions of well-known systems, apparatuses, circuits, and methods are omitted to avoid unnecessary details from obscuring the description of the invention.
[0020] Referring to Figs. 1~11, an electronic heating atomization assembly 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a base 11, a liquid guide member 12 for conducting liquid, and a heating member 13 for heating and atomizing the liquid from the liquid guide member 12. The heating member 13 is in contact with the liquid guide member 12. An accommodation chamber 116 is provided on the base 11, the liquid guide member 12 and the heating member 13 are disposed in the accommodation chamber 116. A liquid recess 111 is provided on the outer side of the base 11, forming a liquid inlet opening 1111 open to the outside. At least two liquid inlet capillary holes 112 are provided at the position of the base 11 within the liquid recess 111. The liquid inlet capillary holes 112 are in communication with the liquid recess 111 and the accommodation chamber 116, so as to allow liquid outside the base 11 to enter the accommodation chamber 116 from the liquid recess 111 and the liquid inlet capillary holes 112, coming into contact with the liquid guide member 12. The liquid guide member 12 is typically made of a porous material with numerous micro-pores. The liquid guide member 12 absorbs and conducts the liquid to the heating member 13. The heating member 13 generates heat when electrified, thereby heating and atomizing the liquid. The liquid inlet opening 1111 serves to control the liquid inlet area, preventing leakage of the atomizable liquid due to an excessively large liquid inlet area. An air exchange channel 115, which is in communication with the exterior and the accommodation chamber 116, is provided on the base 11 at a position other than the liquid recess 111.
[0021] Referring to Figs. 14 and 16, when the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is applied in an electronic heating atomization device, the electronic heating atomization device typically includes a liquid storage chamber 21 for storing liquid 3. The liquid storage chamber 21 is in communication with the liquid inlet opening 1111 of the electronic heating atomization assembly 1. The liquid 3 passes through the liquid inlet opening 1111, the liquid recess 111, and the liquid inlet holes to enter the accommodation chamber 116, contacting the liquid guide member 12. The liquid guide member 12 absorbs and conducts the liquid 3 to the heating member 13, which then heats and atomizes the liquid 3 when electrified, thereby consuming the liquid 3 in the storage chamber 21. External air enters the liquid storage chamber 21 through the air exchange channel 115, maintaining air pressure balance between the liquid storage chamber 21 and the external environment.
[0022] Referring to Figs. 15 and 17, the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is designed with liquid inlet capillary holes 112 at the liquid recess 111. The surface tension of the liquid 3 within the liquid inlet capillary holes 112, combined with the small micro-pore characteristics of the liquid guide member 12, increases the resistance for external air to enter the liquid storage chamber 21 through the liquid recess 111. Simultaneously, the air exchange channel 115 is provided at a position other than the liquid recess 111. Because the resistance for air to enter the liquid storage chamber 21 through the liquid recess 111 is high, while the resistance through the air exchange channel 115 is low, air tends to enter the liquid storage chamber 21 primarily through the air exchange channel 115. This effectively controls the air intake path, preventing issues where air entering through the liquid recess 111 might occupy the liquid supply channel, affecting liquid supply and potentially causing the heating member 13 to burn.
[0023] The liquid recess 111 is provided on a side wall 110 of the base 11. It forms the liquid inlet opening 1111 on one side in the extension direction of the side wall 110, while also being open on one side in the thickness direction of the side wall 110 to form a second opening 1112, although the second opening 1112 is not used for liquid intake. The liquid inlet capillary holes 112 penetrate through the side wall 110 along its thickness direction to be in communication with the liquid recess 111 and the accommodation chamber 116. With this design, when the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is applied in the electronic heating atomization device, the housing 2 of the device covers the second opening 1112, leaving the liquid inlet opening 1111 to be in communication with the liquid storage chamber 21. Liquid 3 from the liquid storage chamber 21 enters the liquid recess 111 through the liquid inlet opening 1111. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 4, the liquid recess 111 forms the liquid inlet opening 1111 on one longitudinal side and the forms the second opening 1112 on one lateral side. The liquid inlet capillary holes 112 penetrate laterally through the side wall 110 of the base 11.
[0024] Referring to Figs. 3~4, the recess depth U of the liquid recess 111 along the wall thickness direction of the side wall 110 is less than the width V thereof, and / or the recess depth U is less than its dimension W along the direction of the liquid inlet opening 1111. With this design, when the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is applied in the electronic heating atomization device, the housing 2 covers the second opening 1112, leaving the liquid inlet opening 1111 to be in communication with the liquid storage chamber 21. The inner surface of the housing 2 and the liquid recess 111, or the inner surface of a sealing member 14 and the liquid recess 111 together define a liquid capillary narrow groove 23 (refer to Fig. 15). The iquid capillary narrow groove 23 is a relatively narrow, elongated area of a certain length, its functions are as follows (refer to Figs. 15 and 17): (1) The capillary force formed by the surface tension of the liquid 3 in the liquid capillary narrow groove 23 makes it more difficult for air to enter at the position of the liquid inlet capillary holes 112. That is, when the air pressure inside the liquid storage chamber 21 of the electronic heating atomization device decreases, external air attempting to enter must displace the liquid 3 at the position of the liquid inlet capillary holes 112. The liquid capillary narrow groove 23 formed at the position of the liquid inlet capillary holes 112 presents greater resistance, requiring a larger pressure difference between the inside and outside of the liquid storage chamber 21 to displace the liquid 3 at the liquid inlet capillary holes 112. In contrast, the liquid film at the opening of the air exchange channel 115 (refer to Fig. 16) is easier to break through. This more effectively controls the gas path during air exchange, ensuring air primarily enters through the air exchange channel 115, preventing gas from entering via the liquid capillary narrow groove 23, instead of the air exchange channel 115, and occupying the liquid supply channel, which could cause poor liquid supply and burning of the heating member 13. (2) Due to the liquid surface tension, the liquid capillary narrow groove 23 can quickly expel gas bubbles from the liquid 3, preventing the formation of air bubbles that could affect liquid conduction. (3) Even when the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is inverted (when the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is on a normal use status, the liquid inlet capillary holes 112 is facing upward, and the liquid storage chamber 21 of the device is located above the electronic heating atomization assembly 1), the liquid capillary narrow groove 23 can ensure a small amount of liquid 3 is available for heating and atomization. When a user uses the device while lying down, the liquid 3 in the liquid capillary narrow groove 23 can still supply some atomized vapor. When the device is returned to the upright position (the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is on a status with the liquid inlet capillary holes 112 facing upward), the liquid capillary narrow groove 23 will quickly refills with liquid 3.
[0025] Referring to Fig. 4, the recess depth U of the liquid recess 111 along the wall thickness direction of the side wall 110 is less than or equal to 1 mm. This dimension ensures that when the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 is used in an electronic cigarette, the narrow dimension (i.e., the dimension along the wall thickness direction of the side wall 110) of the aforementioned liquid capillary narrow groove 23 is less than or equal to 1 mm, which allows the liquid 3 to form appropriate surface tension, better achieving the technical effect of preventing air from entering through the liquid recess 111 and occupying the liquid supply channel.
[0026] Referring to Figs. 5~11, protruding partition rib 113 is provided in the liquid recess 111 on the base 11. The partition rib 113 extends from a direction close to the liquid inlet opening 1111 to a direction away from the liquid inlet opening 1111, separating the at least two liquid inlet capillary holes 112 and partitioning the liquid recess 111 into at least two liquid inlet channels 1131 being in communication with the liquid inlet capillary holes 112. By dividing a larger liquid recess 111 into multiple smaller liquid inlet channels 1131 via the partition rib , the capillary tension at the liquid inlet channels 1131 is enhanced, making the liquid 3 has greater capillary tension and less likely to be broken through by air.
[0027] Referring to Figs. 1~3, the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 includes a sealing member 14 disposed on the outer side of the base 11. The partition rib 113 supports the inner surface of the sealing member 14. Since the sealing member 14 is typically made of an elastically deformable material, this can prevent the liquid inlet capillary holes 112 from being blocked by deformation of the sealing member 14 and thus prevent reducing the effective liquid inlet area.
[0028] Referring to Figs. 8~11, the end of the partition rib 113 away from the liquid inlet opening 1111 is provided with communication notch 1132 for connecting adjacent liquid inlet channels 1131, so as to form communication between the separated small liquid inlet channels 1131, allowing liquid 3 to flow between the small liquid inlet channels 1131, ensuring smooth liquid supply.
[0029] Referring to Fig. 5, the liquid inlet capillary hole 112 comprises a first part hole 1121 and a second part hole 1122 being in communication with each other. The first part hole 1121 extends from a direction close to the liquid inlet opening 1111 to a direction away from the liquid inlet opening 1111, giving the liquid inlet capillary hole 112 an inverted "T" shape. Since one end of the first part hole 1121 is close to the liquid inlet opening 1111, it can better guide and distribute liquid 3 from the liquid inlet opening 1111 to various parts of the liquid inlet capillary hole 112, ensuring even contact between the liquid 3 and the liquid guide member 12 within the accommodation chamber 116.
[0030] Referring to Figs. 6~7, a liquid guide groove 114 extending from a direction close to the liquid inlet opening 1111 to a direction away from the liquid inlet opening 1111 is provided in the liquid recess 111 on the base 11. The liquid guide groove 114 is in communication with the liquid inlet capillary hole 112, and is used for ensuring smooth liquid supply of the liquid inlet capillary hole 112. This design can be used in an electronic heating atomization assembly 1 with narrow structures. When space constraints result in a small liquid inlet capillary narrow groove 23 defined by the liquid recess 111 and the housing 2 or by the liquid recess 111 and the sealing member 14, this design can achieve smooth liquid supply.
[0031] Referring to Figs. 12~17, an electronic heating atomization device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a housing 2 and the aforementioned electronic heating atomization assembly 1 disposed within the housing 2. The inner surface of the housing 2 and the liquid recess 111 together define the liquid inlet capillary narrow groove 23, with the liquid inlet opening 1111 serving as the opening of this the liquid inlet capillary narrow groove 23. A liquid storage chamber 21 is provided in the housing 2 and is in communication with the liquid inlet opening 1111. The electronic heating atomization assembly 1 includes a sealing member 14 for preventing leakage of liquid 3 from the liquid storage chamber 21. The sealing member 14 is disposed between the base 11 and the housing 2. An air passage 22 is provided in the housing 2 and is in communication with the electronic heating atomization assembly 1, allowing the atomized vapor generated by the electronic heating atomization assembly 1 to flow out of the device through the air passage 22.
[0032] Protruding partition rib 113 is provided in the liquid recess 111 on the base 11. The partition rib 113 extends from a direction close to the liquid inlet opening 1111 to a direction away from the liquid inlet opening 1111, separates the at least two liquid inlet capillary holes 112, and partitions the liquid recess 111 into at least two liquid channels 1131 being in communication with the liquid inlet capillary holes 112. The partition rib 113 supports the inner surface of the housing 2 or the sealing member 14, to prevent the liquid inlet capillary holes 112 from being blocked by deformation of the housing 2 or the sealing member 14, and thus prevent reducing the effective liquid inlet area.
[0033] Referring to Fig. 17, the electronic heating atomization assembly device is designed with liquid inlet capillary holes 112 at the liquid recess 111.
[0034] Referring to Figs. 14 and 16, the liquid storage chamber 21 of the electronic heating atomization device is in communication with the liquid inlet opening 1111 of the electronic heating atomization assembly 1.
[0035] Referring to Figs.
[0036] The liquid recess 111 is provided on a side wall 110 of the base 11.
[0037] Referring to Figs.
