Abstract

The present invention relates to pharmaceutical dispersions comprising levothyroxine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts which is primarily dispersed (e.g., primarily suspended) in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. These levothyroxine pharmaceutical dispersions can be long-acting and are useful in treating and / or preventing myxedema coma, hypothyroidism, and / or other thyroid disorders.
