Abstract

A method for preparing an aerosol generation substrate includes: preparing a substrate precursor: taking pretreated tobacco and / or an aromatic plant, an inorganic porous material, a polyol aerosol-forming agent, a flavor additive, and a binder, adding water and / or ethanol, and performing slurry preparation, granulation, and preliminary drying to form a basic particle; performing pressing and forming: to form an aerosol generation substrate with an air channel hole; and performing drying and puffing treatment: performing secondary drying and puffing treatment, where a wall material of the aerosol generation substrate is of a porous skeleton structure including continuous micropores. The preparation method does not require a plurality of times of high-temperature treatment, preventing destruction of flavor by high temperatures. The wall material forms the porous skeleton structure including the continuous micropores. This ensures structural strength and increases a contact area between external air and aerosol, so that the aerosol is more evenly mixed and the aerosol is abundant during inhalation. Additionally, an aerosol generation substrate prepared by using this method is provided.
