[0001] The present invention relates to hair oils comprising dimethiconol, a combination of specific silicones of different viscosity and at least one solvent for the silicones.
[0002] The invention also relates to the use of the hair oil for hair care and a hair care method using the hair oil.
[0003] Human hair is exposed to natural environmental influences as well as many other stresses, including cosmetic stresses. Stresses that put a strain on the hair include, in particular, coloring and styling the hair, especially by means of a perm. Cosmetic hair care agents are used to reduce the negative consequences of (environmental) influences that damage the hair structure, but also to preserve and improve the natural hair structure. Organosilicon compounds, in particular silicones such as trisiloxanes characterized by their caring properties, are essential active ingredients of many cosmetic agents.
[0004] Hair treatment products owe their conditioning power primarily to the quats, silicone oils, fatty acids, and polymers they are made of. For several years now, hair cosmetics has been developing hair oils made primarily from silicone oils. In addition, hair oils are used as leave-on products - in other words, the formulations remain on the hair, without subsequent rinsing. This saves the user time and water. Hair oils have, from this point of view, advantageous durability. These hair oils are enjoying enormous commercial success.
[0005] Commercially available silicone mixtures generally contain volatile cyclic silicones (cyclomethicones) as solvents or formulation aids. The European Chemicals Agency has recently classified cyclomethicones as a substance of very high concern, which is why significant quantities of cyclomethicones can no longer be used in cosmetic products.
[0006] However, the development of cyclomethicone-free hair oils poses difficulties because silicone-based hair oils are often associated with a heavy and unsatisfactory (sticky) product feel and / or appearance. They do not distribute satisfactorily in the hair and leave it greasy and heavy, especially after frequent use.

[0011] The present invention therefore aims to provide hair oils which make the use of cyclic silicones superfluous and which nevertheless retain the same level of effectiveness as silicone formulations. The weighting of the hair and the greasy state of the treated hair, which often occurs with the use of silicones, must be avoided. In particular, the present invention aims to provide hair oils having an excellent feel and appearance of the product, which ensure good incorporation into the hair, so that their care potential can be fully exploited.
