Description

Title of the invention: Vessel comprising means for deploying a dock

[0001] The present invention relates to a vessel comprising means for deploying a floating dock for implementing a boat.

[0002] More particularly, the invention relates to such a ship which comprises means for deploying a floating dock on at least one edge of this ship, from a hangar thereof opening onto one of the edges of the ship through an opening.

[0003] Ships of this type are already known in the state of the art and can be used for different missions.

[0004] One of these missions is for example a so-called mine warfare mission, which allows for example a drone to be deployed from the dock, using for example a tow line and davits, allowing this dock to be deployed between a stowed position in the hangar and a deployed position in the water on the edge of the ship.

[0005] The aim of the invention is to propose improvements to this type of vessel.

[0006] To this end, the invention relates to a ship comprising means for deploying a floating dock for implementing a boat on at least one side of the ship, from a side hangar of this ship, provided with an opening, using a tow line and davits allowing the dock to be deployed between a position stowed in the hangar and a position deployed in the water, characterized in that the ends of the davits comprise rudders for orienting handling hoops of the dock and means for controlling the orientation of these rudders to control the position of the dock relative to the ship.

[0007] According to other characteristics of the ship according to the invention, taken alone or in combination:

[0008] - it includes means for detecting the attitude of the ship to control the means control of the orientation of the rudder pedals;

[0009] - the control means comprise at least one jack associated with each rudder.

[0010] The invention will be better understood with the aid of the following description, given solely by way of example and made with reference to the appended drawings, in which: - [Fig.l] [Fig.l] represents a perspective view of a ship according to the invention; - [Fig.2][Fig.3] and [Fig.4] Figures 2, 3 and 4 illustrate this ship seen from behind with the deployment / storage of a floating dock thereof; and - [Fig.5] [Fig.5] represents a block diagram illustrating the structure and the operation of control means forming part of the construction of a ship according to the invention.

[0011] In fact, these figures illustrate a ship such as that designated by the general reference 1 therein.

[0012] This ship comprises means 2 for deploying a floating dock, designated by the general reference 3, for implementing a vessel such as a drone designated by the general reference 4 in these figures.

[0013] The means for deploying the dock 3 then comprise, for example, means 5 for towing the latter, comprising a towing pole, designated by the general reference 6, and a towing line designated by the general reference 7 in these figures.

[0014] In fact and as illustrated in these figures 1 to 4, the means for deploying the floating dock are provided on one of the edges of the ship and make it possible to deploy or on the contrary to store it from or in a hangar 10 opening onto one of the edges of the ship through a corresponding opening.

[0015] Thus, davits are provided and are hinged on the ship to be movable between a deployed position, illustrated in [Fig.2], in which they extend out of the ship to allow deployment of the dock and a retracted position, illustrated in [Fig.4], for stowing the dock in the ship's hangar 10.

[0016] It will be noted that the ship then includes means for closing the opening of the hangar when the floating dock is in the stowed position in the hangar.

[0017] These sealing means are designated by the general reference 11 in these figures and in particular in figures 2, 3 and 4.

[0018] These closing means then comprise shutter-shaped means comprising, for example, several portions hinged to one another.

[0019] These shutter-shaped means and / or these portions of shutters articulated on each other are then movable between a retracted position for releasing the opening of the hangar and an active position for closing it.

[0020] Thus, for example, the shutters are illustrated in the retracted position for releasing the opening of the hangar 10 in Figures 2 and 3, while in [Fig. 4], these shutter-shaped means are illustrated in the position for closing the opening of the hangar.

[0021] This presents a certain number of advantages, particularly in terms of the safety and comfort of operators who have to work in the hangar.

[0022] This also improves the discretion of operations since it is not possible when the shutters are in the closed position to see what is happening inside this hangar.

[0023] Of course, other embodiments can still be envisaged.

[0024] In addition and as illustrated in these figures and in particular in figures 2 and 5, the ends of the davits such as for example the davit 2, comprise orientation spreaders for example 20, dock handling hoops and means for controlling the orientation of these spreaders to control the position of the dock relative to the ship.

[0025] In the embodiment illustrated in these figures, the means for controlling the orientation of these rudders comprise, for example, at least one jack, one of which is designated by the general reference 21 in these figures.

[0026] These control means then comprise any suitable computer such as for example the computer designated by the general reference 22 in [Fig. 5], receiving as input information from for example means for detecting the attitude of the ship, designated by the general reference 23, to control corresponding control means, designated by the general reference 24, making it possible to control the power supply to the actuator 21.

[0027] It is therefore understood that this presents a certain number of advantages in terms of the safety of handling this dock.
