Description

Title of the invention: Cylindrical cardboard riser for handling pallet

[0001] The present invention relates to a cylindrical cardboard riser for a handling pallet.

[0002] One envisaged field of application is the palletization of goods by successive layers in order to ensure their stability during handling.

[0003] Known cylindrical risers are obtained from a corrugated cardboard blank. They comprise two first walls parallel to each other and two second walls that join them perpendicularly, forming four substantially parallel edges. The four walls define a lower edge opposite an upper edge and an interior space.

[0004] The said first and second walls each have two rectangular tongues that can be fitted together, extending outward from the lower edge, while on the opposite side, the upper edge has rectangular notches that extend in line with the rectangular tongues that can be fitted together, defining recesses.

[0005] Furthermore, the risers comprise two other first walls and two other second walls respectively parallel to each other and located inside the interior space. They are respectively applied against said two first and second walls.

[0006] The two other first walls and two other second walls are integral with the upper edge. They are also glued respectively against the first and second walls. And they thus define the recesses in relation to the interior space.

[0007] Reference may be made to document DE 20 2015 106316 Ul, which describes such a cylindrical riser.

[0008] Also, the palletizing of goods proceeds by the use of a rectangular pallet whose dimensions coincide with the length of the first and second walls. The pallet has, on the one hand, a support face and an edge surrounding the support face, and on the other hand, an adjacent edge substantially perpendicular to the support face.

[0009] A first riser is then installed on the handling pallet so that its lower edge rests on the edge, while the tabs extend in relation to the adjacent edge.

[0010] In this way, the extension is held in a fixed position on the handling pallet in directions parallel to the support face. Indeed, the tabs allow to limit the possibility of the riser slipping.

[0011] Next, the handling pallet is loaded with goods inside the space defined by the extension.

[0012] Then a second riser, identical to the first, is then fitted onto the first riser, so that its tabs fit respectively into the recesses of the first riser, while its lower edge rests on the upper edge of the first riser.

[0013] The second riser is then attached to the first riser and goods can then be loaded onto the first layer of goods inside the space delimited by the second riser.

[0014] Such an operation can then continue by successively installing a plurality of risers one on top of the other.

[0015] However, the possibility of stacking a plurality of layers of goods on a handling pallet by installing a plurality of risers nested one inside the other is limited.

[0016] Indeed, the anchoring of the first riser on the handling pallet is relatively fragile, and the risk of the first layer of goods and the first riser slipping during handling is by no means improbable.

[0017] Also, a problem which arises and which the present invention aims to solve is to provide a cylindrical riser which allows, on the one hand, better anchoring on the handling pallet, and on the other hand, better connection of the risers to each other.

[0018] To this end, it is proposed, according to a first object, a cylindrical riser made of cardboard for handling pallets comprising: two first walls and two second walls respectively parallel to each other and joining together by forming four edges substantially parallel to each other and defining a lower edge opposite an upper edge and an interior space, said first and second walls comprising a plurality of interlocking parts extending in projection from said lower edge, while said upper edge has notches of a shape corresponding to the shape of the interlocking parts and extending respectively to the right of said interlocking parts by defining interlocking housings;and also comprising: two other first walls and two other second walls respectively parallel to each other and situated within the interior space, said other first walls and second walls being adapted to extend respectively opposite said two first and second walls, delimiting said recesses vis-à-vis said interior space. Said recessed parts are formed at an angle in the continuation of each of said edges, while opposite, the recesses extend at an angle.

[0019] Thus, a feature of the invention lies in the implementation of angle-shaped, fixed parts and corresponding recesses extending at an angle. In this way, an angle-shaped fixed part, in other words, a fixed part having two perpendicular wings connected together, is more rigid than a simple tongue. Moreover, in addition to rigidity, the implementation of the angle-shaped fixed part on the corners of the pallet provides better anchoring of the pallet extension.

[0020] Similarly, by providing corner recessed housings, the corner-shaped recessable part is vertically recessed into the corner recessed housings, guided by the other first and second walls which delimit the recessed housings in relation to the interior space.

[0021] In this way, the stacking of the extensions is facilitated. Furthermore, the extensions are held more securely in relation to one another. Consequently, thanks to these characteristics, a large number of extensions conforming to the invention can be stacked. And thus, a handling pallet can be loaded with more goods.

[0022] Also, preferably, said first two and second walls are respectively connected to said other first two and second walls by said upper edge. As will be explained below, the connection between the walls and the other walls makes it possible to form an upper support edge for the lower edge of the riser which is applied over it.

[0023] According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the cylindrical riser further comprises, on the one hand, two first intermediate walls adapted to come into contact flat respectively between said first walls and said other first walls, and on the other hand, two second intermediate walls adapted to come into contact flat respectively between said second walls and said other second walls.

[0024] In this way, the cylindrical riser has triple walls, which allows for better axial rigidity. Consequently, such a riser offers better mechanical resistance to deformation.

[0025] Preferably, said first two and second walls are respectively connected to said first two intermediate walls and to said second intermediate walls by said lower edge. In this way, the lower support edge thus formed can come into contact with the edge of the handling pallet or with the upper support edge of the lower extension.

[0026] Also, said first two intermediate walls and said second two intermediate walls each have a free edge and two lateral notches in said free edge. Thus, the lateral notches allow the bearing surface to be widened. interlocking parts as will be explained in more detail later in the description.

[0027] According to another object, a corrugated cardboard blank is proposed for the production of a cylindrical pallet riser. The corrugated cardboard blank according to the invention comprises two longitudinal parts divided longitudinally from each other by a longitudinal fold line, one of said longitudinal parts comprising: two transverse edges opposite each other and a longitudinal edge opposite said longitudinal fold line; three transverse scoring lines defining two first panels and two second panels; three closed recesses along said longitudinal fold line respectively straddling said three transverse scoring lines, and two open recesses along said longitudinal fold line in said two opposite transverse edges; three first tabs extending respectively in projection from said longitudinal edge at the right of said three closed recesses and two second tabs extending respectively in projection from said longitudinal edge at the right of said two open recesses. And the other longitudinal part has three slots extending respectively in line with the said three groove lines and opening into the said three closed recesses, defining two other first panels and two other second panels respectively adjacent to the said two first panels and two second panels.

[0028] Thus, as will be explained in more detail below, a cylindrical cardboard riser according to the invention is produced solely by using corrugated cardboard blanks. For example, the corrugated cardboard used is double-walled.

[0029] Preferably, the corrugated cardboard blank further comprises two first intermediate panels and two second intermediate panels respectively articulated on said two first panels and two second panels opposite said two other first panels and two other second panels.

[0030] Thus, a riser can be formed having triple walls, which have the aforementioned rigidity characteristics.

[0031] Moreover, the blank further comprises a transverse gluing tab located in the extension of one of said two opposite transverse edges and the corresponding second tab.

[0032] Such a transverse tab allows a cylinder to be formed with the blank, as will be explained below. The transverse tab is, for example, glued with a hot-melt adhesive and applied against the opposite transverse edge. Preferably, the transverse tab is cold-bonded with a reinforced hot-melt tape. It could just as easily be stapled.

[0033] Furthermore, and according to yet another object, a method for manufacturing a cylindrical cardboard riser according to the invention is proposed, comprising the following steps a) a corrugated cardboard blank as described above is provided; b) said two opposite transverse edges are joined together, while said first two panels and second two panels are folded respectively along said three transverse grooving lines so as to form said first two walls, second two walls and said four edges by defining said interior space, while said first three tongues and said second two tongues form said corner fitting parts in the extension of each of said edges, and said three closed recesses and said two open recesses define said fitting housings;and, c) the said two other first panels and two other second panels are folded inwards respectively opposite the said two first panels and two second panels, forming the said two other first walls and two other second walls, and delimiting the said recesses opposite the said interior space.

[0034] Thus, it is understood that the cylindrical cardboard riser can be made without any glue other than that required for gluing the transverse tab. This feature is an advantage, particularly for recycling such a riser.

[0035] Furthermore, the first second panel and the second first panel are preferentially folded towards each other along the distal and proximal grooving lines respectively so that the transverse tongue can be glued flat against the transverse edge of the central part. In other words, the first second and second first panels are folded 180°. In this way, the cylindrical riser can be delivered flat, ready for assembly.

[0036] Furthermore, according to a particularly advantageous embodiment, when the blank comprises two first intermediate panels and two second intermediate panels as described above, then, between steps a) and b), said two first intermediate panels and two second intermediate panels are folded inwards respectively against said two first panels and two second panels.

[0037] Starting from this, the first two intermediate panels and the second two intermediate panels are first folded back against the first two panels and the second two panels, before folding the other two first panels and the other two second panels respectively against the first two intermediate panels and the two second intermediate panels.

[0038] As will be explained in more detail later in the description, said two other first panels and two other second panels, as well as said two first intermediate panels and two second intermediate panels, each have lateral locking edges allowing them to be held together in a fixed position without any other device.

[0039] Other features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following description of particular embodiments of the invention, given by way of example but not limitation, with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:

[0040] [Fig-1] is a schematic top view of a blank for making a riser according to the invention;

[0041] [Fig.2] is a schematic perspective view of the flan shown in [Fig.1] in an initial manufacturing phase;

[0042] [Fig.3] is a schematic perspective view from below of the object in [Fig.2] in a second phase of production;

[0043] [Fig.4] is a schematic three-quarter front left perspective view of the object of [Fig. 3]; and,

[0044] [Fig.5] is a schematic three-quarter front left perspective view showing the cooperation of two risers conforming to the invention with another element.

[0045] Figure 1 shows a front view of a blank 10 according to the invention. It is cut from a double-walled corrugated cardboard sheet having two opposite faces 12, 14. The cardboard sheet has a thickness of between 6 mm and 10 mm, for example.

[0046] In other words, the corrugated cardboard sheet comprises two sheets of fluted paper separated by a sheet of flat paper. Each sheet of fluted paper is covered with a sheet of flat paper. The superimposed sheets are glued together. Other types of cardboard can be used, for example, triple-wall corrugated cardboard sheets.

[0047] The blank 10 extends longitudinally along a direction X, while the grooves extend perpendicularly along the direction Y.

[0048] Thus, the blank 10 comprises three longitudinal parts, a central part 16, and two free longitudinal parts, opposite each other with respect to the central part 16, a first 18 and a second 20.

[0049] The central longitudinal part 16 and the first free longitudinal part 18 are delimited from each other by a first longitudinal fold line 22. This fold line 22 is formed by two first parallel longitudinal grooving lines 24, 26 separated from each other by a distance of 20 mm for example.

[0050] The central longitudinal portion 16 extends between two opposing transverse edges 28, 30. It is also delimited from the second longitudinal portion 20 by a second longitudinal crease line 32 formed by two parallel longitudinal crease lines 34, 36, spaced, for example, 10 mm apart. It will be noted that the two second longitudinal crease lines 34, 36 are spaced less apart than the first two longitudinal crease lines 24, 26.

[0051] Advantageously, they are separated by a distance equal to half that which separates the first two grooving lines 24, 26.

[0052] Also, the second longitudinal fold line 32 defines a longitudinal edge of the central longitudinal part 16, opposite to the first longitudinal fold line 22.

[0053] Also, the central longitudinal part 16 has three transverse grooving lines: a median grooving line 38 dividing the central longitudinal part 16 into two half-parts of the same length; a distal grooving line 40 dividing one of said half-parts into a first first panel 42 and a first second panel 44, and a proximal grooving line 46 dividing the other of said half-parts into a second first panel 48 and a second second panel 50.

[0054] Thus, the first first panel 42 and the second first panel 48 have the same length, for example between 1200 mm and 1220 mm and they are separated from each other by the second second panel 50, which has the same length as the first second panel 44, less than the length of the first panels 42, 48. For example, the second panels 44, 50 have a length between 800 mm and 820 mm.

[0055] Advantageously, the first 42, 48 and second 44, 50 panels have a width between 300 mm and 400 mm, for example 350 mm.

[0056] In addition, the central longitudinal portion 16 has three substantially rectangular closed recesses: a median closed recess 52 located straddling the median grooving line 38, along the first longitudinal folding line 22; a distal closed recess 54 located straddling the distal grooving line 40 along the first folding line 22; and a proximal closed recess 56 straddling the proximal grooving line 46 along the first folding line 22.

[0057] Also, the central longitudinal part 16 has two opposing open recesses along the first fold line 22: a first open recess 58 made in the second first panel 48 opposite the proximal closed recess 56, and a second open recess 60 opposite the median closed recess 52.

[0058] The closed recesses 52, 54, 56 and the open recesses 58, 60 advantageously have a height between 80 mm and 110 mm, and for example 100 mm. The width of the closed recesses 52, 54, 56 is for example 210 mm, while that of the open recesses 58, 60 is 105 mm.

[0059] In addition, and opposite the first fold line 22, the central longitudinal part 16 has three tabs extending outward from the longitudinal edge defined by the second longitudinal fold line 32: a median tab 62 located opposite the median closed recess 52; a distal tab 64 located opposite the distal closed recess 54; and, a proximal tab 66 located opposite the proximal closed recess 56.

[0060] Also, the central longitudinal part 16 comprises two half-tongues 68, 70 extending outward from the longitudinal edge, respectively at the right of the open recesses 58, 60.

[0061] The tabs 62, 64, 66 and the half-tabs 68, 70 preferentially have a height between 70 mm and 100 mm, for example 80 mm.

[0062] The width of the median 62, distal 64 and proximal 66 tabs is for example 200 mm, while the width of the half-tabs 68, 70 is 100 mm for example.

[0063] Furthermore, one of the transverse edges 28, at the level of the second first panel 48, has a transverse gluing tongue 71 extending in the continuation of the half-tongue 68.

[0064] Now, regarding the first longitudinal part 18, while the central part 16 is continuous, it is discontinuous. It has three transverse slots: a first median slot 72 opening into the median closed recess 52 and extending along the axis of the median groove line 38; a first distal slot 74 opening into the distal closed recess 54 and extending along the axis of the distal groove line 40; and a first proximal slot 74 opening into the proximal closed recess 56 and extending along the axis of the proximal groove line 46.

[0065] It will be observed that each of the slots 72, 74, 76 presents a first double step 78 whose interest will be explained in the rest of the description.

[0066] Thus, the first three slots 72, 74, 76 define four other panels: a first third panel 82 attached to the first first panel 42; a first fourth panel 84 attached to the first second panel 44; a second third panel 88 attached to the second first panel 48; and a second fourth panel 90 attached to the second second panel 50.

[0067] Furthermore, the first fourth panel 84 and the second third panel 88 each have a first simple notch 91 respectively opposite the first distal 74 and proximal 76 slots.

[0068] The third panels 82, 88 and the fourth panels 84, 90 have a width substantially less than that of the first 42, 48 and second 44, 50 panels, for example 345 mm.

[0069] The third panels 82, 88 have a length substantially less than the length of the first panels 42, 48 and, the fourth panels 84, 90 also have a length substantially less than the length of the second panels 44, 50. These different lengths are advantageously on the order of twice the thickness of the cardboard plate.

[0070] As for the second longitudinal part 20, it is also discontinuous in the longitudinal direction.

[0071] It also features three second transverse slits: a second median slit 92 extending to the median tongue 62 and along the axis of the median groove line 38; a second distal slot 94 extending to the distal tongue 64 and along the axis of the distal groove line 40; and a second proximal slot 96 extending to the proximal tongue 66 and along the axis of the proximal groove line 46.

[0072] It will be observed that each of the three second slots 92, 94, and 96 presents a second double step 95, the interest of which will be explained in the rest of the description.

[0073] The three second slots 92, 94, and 96 define four more panels: a first fifth panel 98 attached to the first first panel 42 and opposite the first third panel 82; a first sixth panel 100 attached to the first second panel 44 and opposite the first fourth panel 84; a second fifth panel 102 attached to the second first panel 48 and opposite the second third panel 88; and a second sixth panel 104 attached to the second second panel 50 and opposite the second fourth panel 90.

[0074] Furthermore, the first sixth panel 100 and the second fifth panel 102 each have a second simple notch 101 respectively opposite the second distal 94 and proximal 96 slots.

[0075] It will also be observed that the three tabs 62, 64, 66 are cut across the lateral edges of the fifth 98, 102 and sixth 100, 104 panels. Furthermore, the two half-tabs 68, 70 are cut respectively from the lateral edges of the second fifth panel 102 and the first sixth panel 100.

[0076] Moreover, it will be observed that the second longitudinal part 20 also has notches: a median notch 106 straddling the first fifth panel 98 and the second sixth panel 104 and substantially symmetrical to the median closed recess 52 with respect to the second longitudinal fold line 32; a distal notch 108 straddling the first fifth panel 98 and the first sixth panel 100 and substantially symmetrical to the distal closed recess 54; and a proximal notch 110 straddling the second fifth panel 102 and the second sixth panel 104, symmetrical to the proximal closed recess 56.

[0077] In addition, the second fifth panel 102 and the first sixth panel 100 have lateral notches 112, 114, respectively symmetrical to the open recesses 58, 60 with respect to the second longitudinal fold line 32.

[0078] The notches 106, 108, 110 and the lateral notches 112, 114 thus form pairs of lateral notches for each of the fifth 98, 102 and sixth panels 100, 104. These pairs of lateral notches constitute pairs of shoulders.

[0079] In addition, the fifth panels 98, 102 and the sixth panels 100, 104 have a width, along the Y direction, substantially equal to the width of the third panels 82, 88 and the fourth panels 84, 90.

[0080] As regards their length, along the X direction, the fifth panels 98, 102 have a length advantageously between the length of the first panels 42, 48 and that of the third panels 82, 88, while the sixth panels 100, 104 have a length preferably between the length of the second panels 44, 50 and the fourth panels 84, 88.

[0081] Reference will now be made to [Fig.2], [Fig.3] and [Fig.4] to describe the folding process of the blank 10 allowing a cylindrical riser to be obtained in accordance with the invention.

[0082] First, according to a first step, the first panels 42, 48 and the second panels 44, 50 of the central longitudinal part of the blank 10 are folded along the three groove lines 38, 40, 46 so as to bring the second panels 44, 50 substantially perpendicular to the first first panel 42 and opposite each other on one side, and the second first panel 48 perpendicular to the second second panel 50, parallel to the first first panel 42, on the other.

[0083] Also, according to a second step, the transverse tab 71 is glued with a hot melt glue, and it is bent approximately at 90° to apply it flat against the transverse edge 30 of the central part 16, corresponding to the edge of the first second panel 44.

[0084] It will be noted that this operation also makes it possible to seal together the two half-tongues 68, 70 of the second first panel 48 and of the first second panel 44.

[0085] We then obtain a cylindrical shape with a rectangular base such as shown in [Fig.2],

[0086] It will be observed that folding and then gluing the transverse tongue 71 makes it possible to obtain two first parallel walls 42', 48', corresponding to the first panels 42, 48, and two second parallel walls 44', 50' corresponding to the second panels 44, 50. Also, the first walls 42', 48' and the second walls 44', 50' define: a first edge 116 corresponding to the junction between the first second panel 44 and the second first panel 48; a median edge 38' corresponding to the median groove line 38; a distal edge 40' corresponding to the distal groove line 40; and a proximal edge 46' corresponding to the proximal groove line 46. They also define a parallelepiped-shaped interior space 118.

[0087] Moreover, the two half-tongues 68, 70 joined together, which can be seen in the foreground of [Fig.2], together form a first angle 115. The folding of the first 42, 48 and second 44, 50 panels also caused the folding of the tabs 62, 64, 66. Thus, the middle tab 62 folded along the middle groove line 38 forms a middle angle 62' diagonally opposite to the first angle 115. The middle angle 62' is referenced in dotted lines because it is hidden in [Fig.2] by the second third panel 88.

[0088] Similarly, the distal 64 and proximal 66 tabs are respectively folded along the distal 40 and proximal 46 grooving lines, forming respectively diagonally opposed distal 64' and proximal 66' angles.

[0089] Moreover, opposite the two half-tongues 68, 70 forming angle 115, the open recesses 58, 60 define a first angled notch 120 suitable for forming a housing as will be explained below.

[0090] Moreover, opposite the median angle 62', the median closed recess 52 defines a median notch at angle 52' diagonally opposite to the first notch at angle 120. In the same way, the distal recesses 54 and proximal recesses 56 define two diagonally opposite notches at distal angle 54' and proximal angle 56'.

[0091] According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second step is carried out directly on the machine, after cutting the blank 10. In this way, the object of [Fig.2] can be delivered flat.

[0092] To do this, the first second panel 44 and the second first panel 48 are folded towards each other respectively along the distal grooving lines 40 and proximal 46. The transverse tongue 71 then comes to be applied flat, without being folded, against the transverse edge 30 of the central part 16. It can be glued or stapled there.

[0093] In a third step, the fifth panels 98, 102 and the sixth panels 100, 104 which are found on the [Fig.2], are folded towards the interior space 118 along the second longitudinal folding line 32.

[0094] By the same token, this operation releases the angle brackets 115, 62', 64' and 66' which can be seen from below in [Fig.3].

[0095] The fifth panels 98, 102 and the sixth panels 100, 104 thus come to be applied flat respectively against the inside of the first walls 42', 48' and the second walls 44', 50'. And they thus form fifth walls 98', 102' and sixth walls 100', 104' so named and identified in reference to their origin as panels, and which will be referred to as intermediate walls.

[0096] The fifth 98, 102 and sixth 100, 104 panels, folded at 180°, then form a squared, rectangular lower edge 32', thanks to the two parallel longitudinal groove lines 34, 36, spaced apart from each other, of the second longitudinal fold line 32 of the blank 10. The squared edge 32' has discontinuities in the corners at the angle brackets 115, 62', 64', 66'. Also, its thickness is close to the distance which separates the two second longitudinal groove lines 34, 36, i.e. about 10 mm.

[0097] Furthermore, thanks to the second double notches 95 and the second single notch 101, the edges of the fifth 98, 102 and sixth 100, 104 panels folded down at 180°, come into contact with each other and remain in a fixed position and respectively in contact with the inside of the first 42', 48' and second 44', 50' walls.

[0098] Furthermore, it will be observed that, at the end of the third step, the pairs of shoulders formed by the pairs of lateral notches become adjacent to the bottom of the notches at an angle, 120, median 52', distal 54' and proximal 56'.

[0099] Next, in a fourth step, the third panels 82, 88 and the fourth panels 84, 90 are folded down towards the interior space 118 to be applied flat against the fifth walls 98', 102' and the sixth walls 100', 104' as will be explained below.

[0100] Thus, in [Fig.3], the first fourth panel 84 was folded down to form a first fourth wall 84'. Thus, the first sixth wall 100' is sandwiched between the first second wall 44' and the first fourth wall 84'.

[0101] The object of [Fig.3] is found in the same place, on [Fig.4].

[0102] Thus, it will be observed that the first fourth wall 84' partially delimits the first angled notch 120, opposite the interior space 118. After the second third panel 88 has been folded down towards the interior space 118 against the second fifth wall 102' to form a second third wall, then the first angled notch 120 is entirely delimited opposite the interior space 118. It then forms an angled recess as will be explained below.

[0103] The first third panel 82 and the second fourth panel 90 are then folded down and applied respectively flat against the first fifth wall 98' and the second sixth wall 104' respectively so as to form a first third wall and a second fourth wall.

[0104] Also, thanks to the first double notches 78 and the first single notch 91, the edges of the third panels 82, 88 and the fourth panels 84, 90 folded down at 180°, respectively come into contact with each other and are then locked in a fixed position respectively against the fifth walls 98', 102' and the sixth walls 100', 104'.

[0105] Furthermore, this process also delimits the median notch at an angle of 52' diagonally opposite the first notch at an angle of 120, and similarly, the two diagonally opposite notches at an angle of distal 54' and proximal 56'. The notches at angles thus delimited 120, 52', 54', 56' form four recesses.

[0106] Furthermore, the third panels 82, 88 and the fourth panels 84, 90 Folded back at 180°, they then form a squared upper edge 22', thanks to the first two parallel longitudinal grooving lines 24, 66, spaced apart from each other, of the second longitudinal folding line 22 of the blank 10. The squared edge 22' exhibits discontinuities at the corners at the angled notches thus defined 120, 52', 54', 56'. Its width is then close to the distance separating the first two longitudinal grooving lines 24, 66, i.e., approximately 20 mm. Such a width is advantageous for creating a relatively large bearing surface.

[0107] Reference will now be made to [Fig.5] showing in perspective a handling pallet 122 on which are installed two identical cylindrical cardboard risers, according to the invention, a first 124 and a second 126.

[0108] The handling pallet 122 has a support face 128 and a rim 130 surrounding the support face. It also has an adjacent rim 132 substantially perpendicular to the support face, and four corners, three of which 134, 136, 138 appear on [Fig. 5].

[0109] Also, the handling pallet 122 has a length of approximately 1200 mm and a width of approximately 800 mm. These dimensions correspond respectively to the length and width of the extensions 124, 126.

[0110] Thus, the first riser 124 is adjusted vertically on the handling pallet 122 so that, on the one hand, the squared lower edge 32' rests on the rim 130 surrounding the bearing face 128 of the pallet 122, and on the other hand, the corner pieces 64', 115, 66', 62' extend against the adjacent rim at the corners 134, 136, 138 and the hidden corner on the [Fig.5].

[0111] In this way, thanks to the angle brackets 64', 115, 66', 62', it is understood that the first riser 124 is held in a fixed position on the handling pallet 122 in directions substantially parallel to the plane which it defines.

[0112] In addition, the second riser 126 is vertically engaged on the first riser 124, so that the angle brackets 64', 115, 66', 62' of the second riser 126 engage respectively in the angled notches 120, 52', 54', 56' forming the recess. And during docking, the angle brackets 64', 115, 66', 62' are axially guided in translation respectively by means of the third 82, 88 and fourth 84, 90 panels folded against the fifth 98', 102' and sixth 100', 104' walls illustrated in [Fig. 4].

[0113] Also, at the end of the docking, the squared lower edge 32' of the second riser 126 rests against the squared upper edge 22' of the first riser 124. The width of the squared upper edge 22' compensates for any functional gaps. This results in a perfect joint between the two risers 124 and 126.

[0114] Furthermore, the angle brackets 64', 115', 66', 62' also bear axially in the bottom of the angled notches 120', 52', 54', 56', which also provide a re mechanical resistance to the upper riser 126. In addition, the angles 64', 115, 66', 62' can also bear axially on the aforementioned shoulders formed by the pairs of adjacent lateral notches of the bottom of the angled notches, 120, median 52', distal 54' and proximal 56'.

[0115] Also, the angle brackets 64', 115, 66', 62' have dimensions substantially identical to the angled notches 120, 52', 54', 56' forming the recess, except for functional clearance. In this way, the second riser 126 is perfectly secured to the first riser 124 in a direction substantially parallel to the plane of the handling pallet 122.

[0116] Furthermore, the second riser 126 is suitable for receiving a third riser not shown and which in turn can receive another riser, according to the aforementioned method of implementation.

[0117] The number of recessed risers is not limited.

[0118] Furthermore, and according to an implementation method not shown, we do away with the intermediate walls, in other words with the fifth panels 98, 102 and the sixth panels 100, 104 and therefore with the fifth walls 98', 102' and the sixth walls 100', 104'.
