Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Packaging assembly for a cosmetic product
[0001] The present invention relates to the field of packaging assemblies for a product, in particular a cosmetic product.
[0002] For the purposes of the present invention, the term “cosmetic product” means in particular a product as defined in Regulation (EC) No. 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 relating to cosmetic products.
[0003] More particularly, the invention relates to a product packaging assembly comprising a container or bottle containing a product and a closing member intended to be fixed by screwing onto the open end of the container to be closed.
[0004] Generally, the container comprises a neck provided with a thread and the closure member comprises a tapping cooperating with the thread of the container in order to secure the closure member to the container by screwing.
[0005] More particularly, the closure member according to the present invention comprises an application member intended for the application of a cosmetic product, such as, for example, a makeup or care product, for example on keratin fibers, such as mascara, eyeliner or any other viscous product.
[0006] It is known to produce mascara packaging and application assemblies comprising a container having a relief projecting radially from the base of the neck and a closure member comprising an elastically deformable fin and configured to cross said relief by elastic deformation thereof in order to generate a tactile and / or sound sensation, felt by the user as confirming the end of the screwing of the closure member onto the container.
[0007] When manufacturing such a container, the first manufacturing step consists of producing a preform of the neck of the container by molding in a blank mold, in particular by injection in the case of a plastic material or by pressing in the case of a silicon dioxide-based material and the second manufacturing step consists of blowing the preform to form the entire container.
[0008] In known containers, the relief is produced during the second manufacturing step, which generates high manufacturing tolerances and low precision of the relief to be crossed. This can cause manufacturing defects preventing the closure member from crossing the relief to be crossed and / or from coming into abutment against said relief of the container at the end of screwing to prevent any untimely unscrewing.
[0009] Thus, there is a need to improve the precision of the reliefs forming the end stop of screwing a closing device onto a container.
[0010] The present invention therefore aims to overcome the above drawbacks and to allow increased precision in the formation of protruding reliefs on the container, resulting in improved reliability of any untimely unscrewing of the closure member relative to the container, as well as satisfactory audible and / or tactile feedback of the end of screwing between the container and the closure member.
[0011] The subject of the invention is a packaging assembly for a product, in particular a cosmetic product, comprising: - a container or reservoir comprising a body and delimiting an internal volume containing said product and a neck connected at its proximal end to said body by a shoulder, said neck comprising on its external surface an external thread, and - a sealing element configured to seal an open end of the neck of the container, and comprising a tubular mounting skirt provided on its internal surface with an internal thread or tapping cooperating with the external thread provided on the neck of the container.
[0012] The outer surface of the neck of the container further comprises an annular bead projecting radially outwards and located axially between the external thread, and in particular the proximal end of the threads and the proximal end of the neck.
[0013] The neck comprises at least one pair of radially projecting elements extending radially from the outer surface of the annular bead outwardly.
[0014] The closure element comprises at least one tab or tongue extending axially from an open proximal end of the tubular mounting skirt of the closure element and configured to cooperate by contact with the pair of radially projecting elements when screwing the closure element onto the container to a position for closing the open end of the neck of the container, in which the closure element is mounted around the neck of the container.
[0015] The tabs are located in the axial extension of the applicator support, which does not increase the radial dimension of said applicator support.
[0016] The tab or tongue cooperates with the pair of radially projecting elements by circumferential contact in the direction of screwing the closure element onto the container.
[0017] Advantageously, the tongue may be flexible or elastically deformable in the radial direction to pass through the radially projecting element. By "elastically deformable" is meant any element, by its shape or its material, configured to deform elastically during an external stress and to return to its initial shape after the external stress has stopped, here after having passed through the first radially projecting element.
[0018] According to one embodiment, the tongue comprises at least one or more axial ribs extending from the radially outer surface of said tongue outwards. Said axial ribs are in radial support against the inner surface of the cap. This embodiment is advantageous when the cap surrounding the applicator support is in radial contact with the radially outer surface of the tab and can prevent its radial deformation. Thus, during the cooperation between the tab and the first radially projecting element, the axial ribs of the tab make it possible to promote the deformation of said tab when crossing the first projecting element.
[0019] The annular bead is separate from the body of the neck.
[0020] The packaging assembly extends for example along an elevation axis.
[0021] Advantageously, the pair of radially projecting elements comprises a first radially projecting element and a second radially projecting element forming a stop for the end of screwing of the closure element onto the container in the closure position, the first radially projecting element being circumferentially spaced by a circumferential space from the second radially projecting element.
[0022] Thus, when screwing the closure element onto the container, the tab cooperates with the first radially projecting element to be inserted into the circumferential space between the first and second projecting elements until circumferential contact with a stop surface of the second projecting element.
[0023] The crossing of the first projecting element by the tab of the closure element results in a tactile and / or sound production likely to be felt by a user handling the assembly.
[0024] The external stress here corresponds to the crossing of the first radially projecting element which deforms the tongue radially outwards.
[0025] Advantageously, the first radially projecting element comprises two ramps inclined relative to each other, the first radially projecting ramp having an increasing radial dimension in the direction of screwing of the thread up to the second ramp having a decreasing radial dimension in the direction of screwing of the thread.
[0026] The progressive increase in the radial dimension of the ramp results in an increase in the screwing force. The user is thus informed of the progress of the screwing by the force passing through the ramp.
[0027] The first ramp of the first radially projecting element forms a first angle with the tangent to the annular bead and the second ramp of the first radially projecting element forms a second angle with the tangent to the annular bead.
[0028] According to one embodiment, said first angle is equal to the second angle.
[0029] According to another embodiment, said first angle is different from the second angle.
[0030] For example, it could be provided that the second angle of the second ramp closer to the second projecting element is greater than the first angle of the first ramp further away from the second projecting element, so as to form an anti-unscrewing stop for the closure element relative to the container.
[0031] Advantageously, the second radially projecting element comprises a stop surface, for example vertical along the elevation axis, having a radial dimension greater than the radial dimension of the first projecting element.
[0032] For example, the stop surface is located circumferentially opposite the second ramp of the first projecting element.
[0033] Advantageously, the outer surface of the neck of the container further comprises at least one axial rib extending axially from the second projecting element to the external thread of the neck, and configured to cooperate with a proximal end of the thread of the closure element in the closure position.
[0034] The axial rib forms a circumferential stop for the proximal end of the tapping of the closure element.
[0035] According to another embodiment, the neck comprises at least two pairs of radially projecting elements extending radially from the outer surface of the annular bead outwardly and the closure element comprises at least two tabs or tongues extending axially from the open proximal end of the tubular mounting skirt of the closure element and each configured to cooperate with a pair of radially projecting elements when screwing the closure element onto the container to the container closure position.
[0036] Thus, in the sealing position, the sealing element is screwed onto the lower container until each tab is inserted into the circumferential space between two radially projecting elements of a pair of projecting elements.
[0037] For example, the two pairs of protruding elements are arranged circumferentially around the annular bead at 180° to each other and the tabs are arranged circumferentially at 180° to each other.
[0038] Advantageously, the external thread of the neck of the container comprises at least two threads each comprising a distal end and a proximal end, and the external surface of the neck of the container further comprises at least two axial ribs each extending axially from a second projecting element to the proximal end of one of the threads of the external thread.
[0039] Generally, the number of pairs of protruding elements preferably corresponds to the number of threads of the external thread and the number of tabs of the applicator support.
[0040] For example, the distal end of the thread is the end of the threads of the external thread closest to the distal end of the neck and the proximal end of the thread is the end of the threads of the external thread closest to the shoulder between the neck and the body, e.g., the upper body portion of the container.
[0041] Each thread preferably forms a helix about the elevation axis on the outer surface of the neck between the distal end of the neck and a proximal end of the neck connected to the shoulder toward the body of the container.
[0042] The external thread has a screwing direction preferably going from the distal end towards the proximal end of the neck.
[0043] Advantageously, the internal thread or tapping of the mounting skirt of the closure element comprises at least two threads each comprising a distal end and a proximal end each configured to cooperate with an axial rib of the neck of the container in the closure position.
[0044] For example, the distal end is the end of the threads of the thread closest to the cross-sectional wall and the proximal end is the end of the threads of the thread closest to the open end of the mounting skirt.
[0045] For example, each thread of the tapping forms a helix about the elevation axis on the inner surface of the mounting skirt between the transverse portion and the proximal end of the mounting skirt.
[0046] For example, the thread has a screwing direction going from the transverse portion towards the proximal end of the mounting skirt.
[0047] Alternatively, it could be provided that the tapping comprises only one thread forming a single helix on the internal surface of the mounting skirt comprising a distal end and a proximal end.
[0048] The annular bead is, advantageously, located axially at a first axial distance from the external thread, and in particular from the proximal end of the threads, and at a second axial distance from the proximal end, said axial distances being non-zero.
[0049] For example, the body of the container has a generally circular section and the neck of the container has a circular section.
[0050] Alternatively, it could be provided that the body of the container has a non-circular general section, for example ovoid, square, rectangular, or other.
[0051] Advantageously, the closure element comprises a transverse wall extending substantially perpendicular to the mounting skirt and connecting to said mounting skirt.
[0052] According to one embodiment, the assembly comprises a rod comprising a first end secured to the transverse wall and a second end fixed to an application member, the application member being configured to extend inside the internal volume of the container in the closure position.
[0053] The closure element then forms an applicator support.
[0054] For example, the sealing element further comprises a sealing skirt configured to insert into the neck of the container in the sealing position. The skirt sealing skirt projects along the elevation axis from the transverse wall. The sealing skirt is radially surrounded by the mounting skirt.
[0055] Alternatively, it may be provided that the closure element ensures sealing with the neck of the container in the closure position by pressing a portion of the closure element extending transversely to the elevation axis on the rim, in other words on the front wall of the neck of the container, possibly by means of a collar belonging to a wiping member inserted inside the neck, said collar being in axial support on the rim of the neck.
[0056] According to another variant, the rod extending between the transverse wall and the application member may have a frustoconical portion configured to be inserted into the neck of the container in the closed position and to ensure the sealing of the container by contact in the radial direction with the inner surface of the neck, possibly by means of a tubular wall belonging to a wiping member inserted inside the neck, said tubular wall being at least locally in contact with the inner surface of the neck in the radial direction.
[0057] According to one embodiment, the assembly comprises a cover secured in rotation and in translation to the closure element, said cover forms with said closure element a closure member.
[0058] In one embodiment, the body of the container comprises two body parts having a different outer diameter and connected by a first shoulder. The upper body part having an outer diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the lower body part makes it possible to leave a radial space to contain the closure member and in particular the cap, without increasing the radial size of the assembly. Thus, the closure member has an outer radial dimension equal to the outer radial dimension of the lower body part of the container.
[0059] Alternatively, it could be provided that the body of the container comprises only one body part of continuous radial dimension over its entire height along the elevation axis.
[0060] According to a second aspect, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a container of a packaging assembly as described above, in which during a first manufacturing step, a preform of the neck of the container is produced by molding or by pressing in a blank mold and during a second manufacturing step, the preform is blown to form the entire container.
[0061] The radially protruding elements are thus produced during the second manufacturing stage, which generates low manufacturing tolerances and increased precision of the relief to be crossed by the tabs.
[0062] According to one embodiment, the container is made of a dioxide-based material of silicon, such as glass.
[0063] The present invention will be better understood upon studying the detailed description of embodiments, taken as non-limiting examples and illustrated by the appended drawings, in which:
[0064] [Fig.l] is an exploded perspective view of a packaging assembly for a cosmetic product according to one embodiment of the invention;
[0065] [Fig.2] is a vertical sectional view of the container of the assembly of [Fig.l];
[0066] [Fig.3] is a top view of the container of [Fig.2];
[0067] [Fig.3A] is a detail view of the container of [Fig.3];
[0068] [Fig.4] is a perspective view of an applicator holder of the assembly of [Fig.l];
[0069] [Fig.5] is a longitudinal sectional view of the applicator holder of [Fig.4];
[0070] [Fig.6] is a top view of the applicator holder of [Fig.5];
[0071] [Fig.7] is an assembled perspective view of the applicator holder on the container in a screwed position; and
[0072] [Fig.8] is an assembled sectional view of the applicator holder on the container in a screwed position
[0073] In the remainder of the description, we consider an orthonormal basis X, Y, Z, with Z corresponding to an elevation axis representing the vertical direction in which we find:
[0074] - a longitudinal axis X, horizontal and extending from left to right on [Fig.l];
[0075] - a transverse axis Y, horizontal, perpendicular to the longitudinal axis X and extending from back to front on [Fig.l]; and
[0076] - a vertical axis Z, orthogonal to the longitudinal axes X and transverse Y and extending from bottom to top on [Fig.l].
[0077] The expressions "upper" and "lower" refer to the upper part and the lower part of the figures, in the assembled position of the assembly.
[0078] [Fig.l] shows a product packaging assembly 1 comprising a container 10 or bottle delimiting an internal volume 11a intended to contain a product to be applied to the eyelashes and / or eyebrows of a user, for example example a cosmetic makeup product such as mascara or a care product. The packaging assembly 1 further comprises a closure member 20.
[0079] As illustrated in [Fig.l], the assembly 1 extends axially along an elevation axis Z-Z' assumed to be vertical in the figures.
[0080] The closure member 20 is mounted by screwing onto the container 10.
[0081] As illustrated, and in a non-limiting manner, the closure member 20 comprises a cover 22 and an applicator support 24 or applicator rod holder mounted in said cover 22 and integral in rotation and translation with said cover 22. As a variant, it could be provided that the closure member 20 does not comprise an applicator support.
[0082] The container 10 extends axially along the axis Z-Z' assumed to be vertical in the figures. The body 11 of the container 10 is provided with a closed lower end 11b forming a bottom and an open upper end 11c, opposite the lower end 11b, forming a neck 12 provided with an opening 12a allowing access to the internal volume 11a for receiving the product.
[0083] In the illustrated embodiment, the body 11 of the container 10 comprises two body parts 11e, 11d having a different outside diameter and connected by a first shoulder 11e. The upper body part 11d having an outside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the lower body part 11e makes it possible to leave a radial space to contain the closure member 20 and in particular the cover 22, without increasing the radial size of the assembly 1.
[0084] Thus, the closure member 20 has an external radial dimension equal to the external radial dimension of the lower part 11 of the body of the container 10.
[0085] Alternatively, it could be provided that the body of the container comprises only one body part of continuous radial dimension over its entire height along the elevation axis Z-Z'.
[0086] The neck 12 extends around the elevation axis Z-Z' and has an outside diameter smaller than the outside diameter of the upper part 1 Id of the body 11 of the container 10 and comprises, on its outside surface 12b, an external thread 13 cooperating with a tapping 27 or internal thread provided on the applicator support 24.
[0087] The neck 12 is connected to the body 11, and in particular to the upper part 11d of the body, of the container 10 by an external shoulder 14.
[0088] By "shoulder" is meant any surface substantially normal to the elevation axis of a cylindrical part resulting from a sudden variation in diameter.
[0089] The container 10 does not include any radial projection on the junction between the neck 12 and the body 11, in particular on the shoulder 14.
[0090] The external thread 13 comprising two threads 15, 16 each comprising a distal end 15a, 16a and a proximal end 15b, 16b. Only the ends distal 15a and proximal 15a of the upper thread 15 are visible in the figures.
[0091] The distal end 15a, 16a is the end of the threads of the thread 13 closest to the distal end 12c of the neck 12.
[0092] The proximal end 15b, 16b is the end of the threads of the thread 13 closest to the shoulder 14 between the neck 12 and the body 11, in particular the upper body part 11d of the container 10.
[0093] Each thread 15, 16 forms a helix around the elevation axis Z-Z' on the outer surface 12b of the neck 12 between the distal end 12c of the neck and a proximal end 12d of the neck 12 connected to the shoulder 14 with the body 11 of the container 10.
[0094] The thread 13 has a screwing direction going from the distal end 12c towards the proximal end 12d of the neck 12.
[0095] Alternatively, it could be provided that the external thread 13 comprises only one thread forming a single helix around the neck comprising a distal end and a proximal end.
[0096] The outer surface 12b of the neck 12 further comprises an annular bead 17 projecting radially outwards.
[0097] The annular bead 17 is located axially between the thread 13, and in particular the proximal end 15b, 16b of the threads and the proximal end 12d of the neck 12.
[0098] As illustrated in [Fig.2], the annular bead 17 is located axially at a first axial distance DI from the thread 13, and in particular from the proximal end 15b, 16b of the threads and at a second axial distance D2 from the proximal end 12d of the neck 12. The axial distances D1, D2 are not zero.
[0099] By way of non-limiting example, the first axial distance D1 is between 2.1 and 2.8 mm, for example equal to 2.48 mm.
[0100] As illustrated, the neck 12 of the container 10 further comprises two first projecting elements 18 extending radially from the outer surface of the annular bead 17 outwardly and two second projecting elements 19 extending radially from the outer surface of the annular bead 17 outwardly.
[0101] Each pair of projecting elements formed by a first radially projecting element 18 and a second radially projecting element 19 forms a stop for the end of screwing of the closure member 20 onto the container 10. Each pair of projecting elements is intended to cooperate with a tab or tongue, in particular flexible or deformable in the radial direction, 31, 32 projecting axially from the body of the applicator support 24.
[0102] The first projecting element 18 of a pair of projecting elements is circumferentially spaced by a circumferential gap E from the second projecting element 19 of the same pair.
[0103] As illustrated, the two pairs of projecting elements 18, 19 are arranged circumferentially around the annular bead 17 at 180° from each other.
[0104] Alternatively, it could be provided that only one pair of projecting elements 18, 19, namely only one first projecting element 18 and only one second projecting element 19.
[0105] It would also be possible to provide a number greater than or equal to three pairs of projecting elements.
[0106] Generally, the number of pairs of projecting elements preferably corresponds to the number of threads of the external thread 13 and to the number of tabs 31, 32 of the applicator support 24.
[0107] The first projecting element 18 of each pair comprises two ramps 18a, 18b inclined relative to each other forming a first projecting element of triangular section.
[0108] The first radially projecting ramp 18a has an increasing radial dimension in the direction of screwing of the thread up to the second ramp 18b which has a decreasing radial dimension in the direction of screwing of the thread.
[0109] The progressive increase in the radial dimension of the ramp results in an increase in the screwing force. The user is thus informed of the progress of the screwing by the force of the ramp.
[0110] Furthermore, the first radially projecting element 18 is not a deformable part capable of deforming temporarily or permanently.
[0111] As illustrated, the ramps 18a, 18b of each first projecting element 18 have an identical slope, that is to say that the angle a1 formed between the first ramp 18a and the tangent to the bead 17 at the junction with said first ramp 18a is equal to the angle a2 formed between the second ramp 18b and the tangent to the bead 17 at the junction with said second ramp 18b.
[0112] Alternatively, it could be provided that the angles a1 and a2 are different. For example, it could be provided that the angle a2 of the second ramp 18b closer to the second projecting element 19 is greater than the angle a1 of the first ramp 18a further from the second projecting element 19, so as to form an anti-unscrewing stop for the closure member 20 relative to the container 10.
[0113] The second projecting element 19 of each pair of projecting elements comprises a stop surface 19a, here vertical, circumferentially facing the second ramp 18b of the first projecting element 18. The second projecting element 19 of each pair of projecting elements has a radial dimension greater than the radial dimension of the first projecting element 18 and forms a stop or notch for the end of screwing for the tab 31, 32 of the applicator support 24.
[0114] As illustrated, the neck 12 comprises an axial rib 19b extending axially along the elevation axis Z-Z' from each second projecting element 19 to the proximal end 15b, 16b of one of the corresponding threads of the external thread 13.
[0115] The axial ribs 19b form a circumferential stop for each end proximal 28b of the threads of the tapping 27 of the applicator support 24, or more generally of the closure member 20.
[0116] As illustrated in [Fig. 3], the body 11 of the container 10 has a generally circular section and the neck 12 of the container 10 has a circular section. Alternatively, it could be provided that the body 11 of the container has a non-circular general section, for example ovoid, rectangular square, or other.
[0117] The closure member 20 extends along a general axial axis, shown in a position assumed to be vertical and coincident with the axis Z-Z' in [Fig.l]. The closure member 20 here comprises the cover 22 and the applicator support 24 or applicator rod holder mounted in said cover 22 and integral in rotation and translation with said cover 22.
[0118] Generally, the applicator support 24 is a sealing element.
[0119] The cover 22 comprises a body 22a surrounding the applicator support 24 and comprising anti-rotation elements (not visible) projecting from the internal surface of said body 22a inwards to cooperate with anti-rotation elements 35 provided on the applicator support 24. The applicator support 24 is, for example, snap-fastened into the cover 22 in order to be integral in translation with the latter. Alternatively, any mechanism configured to make the cover 22 and the applicator support 24 integral could be provided. It could also be provided that the cover 22 and the applicator support 24 are glued together.
[0120] As illustrated in [Fig.5], the applicator support 24 comprises a tubular mounting skirt 25, and a transverse wall 26 extending substantially perpendicular to the elevation axis Z-Z' connecting to the mounting skirt 25. The mounting skirt 25 comprises a threaded or tapped internal surface 27, intended to be screwed onto the thread 13 of the neck 12 of the container 10.
[0121] The internal thread or tapping 27 of the mounting skirt 25 comprises two threads 28, 29 each comprising a distal end 28a, 29a and a proximal end 28b, 29b. The proximal end 29b of the lower thread 29 is not visible in the figures.
[0122] The distal end 28a, 29a corresponds to the end of the threads of the thread 27 closest to the transverse wall 26.
[0123] The proximal end 28b, 29b corresponds to the end of the threads of the thread 27 closest to the open end 25a of the mounting skirt 25.
[0124] Each thread of the tapping 27 forms a helix around the elevation axis Z-Z' on the inner surface of the mounting skirt 25 between the transverse portion 26 and the proximal end 25a of the mounting skirt 25.
[0125] The thread 27 has a screwing direction going from the transverse portion 26 towards the proximal end 25a of the mounting skirt 25.
[0126] Alternatively, it could be provided that the tapping 27 comprises only one thread forming a single helix on the internal surface of the mounting skirt 25 comprising a distal end and a proximal end.
[0127] The applicator support 24 further comprises a sealing skirt 30 configured to be inserted into the neck 12 of the container 10 in the sealing position. The sealing skirt 30 projects along the elevation axis Z-Z' from the transverse wall 26. The sealing skirt 30 is radially surrounded by the mounting skirt 25.
[0128] The applicator support 24 further comprises two tabs or tongues 31, 32 extending axially from the open proximal end 25a of the application support 24. The flexible or radially deformable tabs 31, 32 are arranged circumferentially at 180° to each other and each cooperate with a pair of projecting elements 18, 19 carried by the neck 12 of the container 10.
[0129] Alternatively, the number of tabs could be different. Generally, the number of tabs 31, 32 corresponds to the number of pairs of projecting elements 18, 19 carried by the neck 12 of the container 10.
[0130] The tabs 31, 32 have, here, a rectangular cross-section shape.
[0131] The tabs 31, 32 are located in the axial extension of the support applicator support 24, which does not increase the radial dimension of said applicator support 24.
[0132] When screwing the closure member 20, and in particular the applicator support 24 onto the container 10, each of the tabs 31, 32 cooperates with the first projecting element 18 of a corresponding pair of projecting elements. The first inclined ramp 18a of the first projecting elements 18 allows the tabs 31, 32 to pass over said first projecting element 18 to be inserted into the circumferential space E between the first and second projecting elements 18, 19 up to circumferential contact between the tab 31, 32 and the abutment surface 19a of the corresponding second projecting element 19.
[0133] The crossing of the first projecting element 18 by a tab 31, 32 of the applicator support 24 results in a tactile and sound production likely to be felt by a user handling the assembly 1.
[0134] By “flexible” or “elastically deformable” tab is meant an elastically deformable tab or tongue, i.e. configured by its shape or its material to deform elastically during an external stress and to return to its initial shape after the external stress has stopped.
[0135] The external stress here corresponds to crossing the first projecting element 18 which deforms the tongue radially outwards.
[0136] In the closed position, the proximal end 28b, 29b of the threads of the thread 27 of the mounting skirt 25 of the applicator support 24 come into circumferential contact against the corresponding axial rib 19b provided on the neck 12 of the container 10.
[0137] As illustrated, the applicator support 24 further comprises a rod 33 comprising a first end secured to the transverse wall 26 and a second end fixed to an application member 34. In the example illustrated, the rod 33 has a circular cross-section substantially over its entire length. Alternatively, other shapes could be provided for the cross-section of the rod, for example polygonal such as square, rectangular, or even oval, etc.
[0138] The rod 33 and the transverse wall 26 can be made in one piece, for example by injection molding a plastic material, onto which the application member 34 is then attached. Provision could be made for the rod to be fixed to the transverse wall 26 by any other means, for example, by gluing, screwing, etc.
[0139] As illustrated, and in a non-limiting manner, the applicator support 24 comprises anti-rotation projections 35 provided on the external surface 24a of the body of the applicator support 24 to cooperate with anti-rotation projections on the cover 22. The anti-rotation projections 35 are, here, regularly spaced apart from each other around the body 24a of the applicator support 24.
[0140] As illustrated, the body of the cap 22 and of the applicator support 24 have a general circular section, here identical to the general section of the body 11 of the container 10 and the mounting skirt 25 of the applicator support 24 has a circular section.
[0141] The closure member 20 is movable between a position for closing the internal volume 11a of the container 10, in which the closure member 20 is screwed onto the container 10 and a position for opening the internal volume 11a of the container 10.
[0142] In the closing position, the closing member 20, and in particular the applicator support 24, is mounted around the neck 12 of the container 10.
[0143] In the case where the closure member comprises an applicator support 24, in the position for closing the internal volume 11a, the applicator 34 carried by the applicator support 24 extends inside said internal volume 11a of the container 10.
[0144] The container 10 and the closure member 20 are preferably made of rigid material, i.e. not compressible by a user.
[0145] Preferably, the container 10 is made of glass.
[0146] In the closure position, visible in Figures 7 and 8, the closure member 20 is screwed onto the lower container 10 until each tab 31, 32 is inserted into the circumferential space E between two radially projecting elements 18, 19 of a pair of projecting elements.
[0147] An example of manufacturing the container 10 of the product packaging assembly 1 is carried out according to the following method.
[0148] During the manufacture of the container 10, the first manufacturing step comprises the production of a preform of the neck 12 of the container 10 by molding in the case of a plastic material or by pressing in the case of a silicon dioxide-based material in a rough mold (not shown) and the second manufacturing step comprises the blowing of the preform to form the entire container 10.
[0149] The projecting elements 18, 19 are thus produced during the second manufacturing step, which generates low manufacturing tolerances and increased precision of the relief to be crossed by the tabs 31, 32.
[0150] Thanks to the assembly according to the present invention, the manufacturing tolerances of the radial projections on the container forming the end of screwing stop are reduced, resulting in increased reliability of any untimely unscrewing of the closure member relative to the container, as well as satisfactory audible feedback of the end of screwing between the container and the closure member.
