Abstract

Three-bladed egg cup The invention relates to the field of egg cups, devices for receiving an egg in a vertical position. The egg cup (1) comprises three identical blades (L) and in the use configuration all these blades (L) are positioned so that the axis along the length is in a horizontal position and the axis along the width is in a vertical position, and form, seen from above, an equilateral triangle with a side typically 7 centimeters, between 4 and 10 centimeters. 1. Egg cup device (1) for receiving an egg (2) in a vertical position, characterized in that it comprises at least three blades (L) and by the fact that in the use configuration all these blades (L) are positioned so that the axis along the length is in a horizontal position and the axis along the width is in a vertical position and by the fact that these blades (L) are rectilinear and comprise a non-planar surface (S) adapted to be in contact with an egg (2).

2. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the blades (L) are identical.

3. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 2, characterized in that the number of blades (L) is strictly three and that in the use configuration they form an equilateral triangle with a side typically 7 cm, between 4 and 10 centimeters.

4. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 3 characterized in that it has a storage configuration which is more compact than the use configuration.

5. Device according to claim 4 characterized in that the blades (L) can be assembled in the use configuration and disassembled in the storage position thanks to the presence of slots (F) positioned on each side of the blades (L).

6. Device according to claim 4 characterized in that the blades (L) have one half twice as thick as the other half.

7. Device according to claim 6 characterized in that the device comprises a storage ring and that in the storage configuration the blades (L) are inserted in alternating positions in the storage ring (B).

8. Device according to any one of claims 1 to 7 characterized in that the blades are made of metal.

Use of the device (1) according to claim 5 characterized in that to assemble two blades (L1, L2), the right thumb is placed on the surface (SI) of a first blade (L1) and the left thumb on the surface (S2) of a second blade (L2) which provides assistance in correcting the orientation of the blades (L1, L2) at the time of assembly of the two blades (L1, L2).
