Abstract

COMPOSITION FOR ORAL HYGIENE The present invention relates to a solid composition for the oral cavity comprising:- (a) a blueberry fruit extract in powder form and containing anthocyanins, - (b) probiotics not containing yeast and- (c) at least one vitamin. It further relates to the composition of the invention for its use for oral hygiene and / or for the prevention of dental plaque and / or for the treatment and / or prevention of disorders of the oral cavity, in particular chosen from candidiasis, gingivitis, periodontitis and / or halitosis, and / or for promoting the healing of the oral mucosa.

[0003] In particular, dental plaque protects pathogenic bacteria and allows them to develop in such a way as to unbalance the microbiota naturally present in the mouth. These bacteria can thus give rise to cavities by causing damage to the enamel, cementum, dentin or even the pulp depending on the stage of development. [0011] The inventor surprisingly discovered that the combination of blueberry fruit extract in powder form and containing anthocyanins, probiotics and vitamin C in a solid composition made it possible to clean the oral cavity in order to eliminate the pathogenic flora responsible for oral problems but also, simultaneously, to reseed the microbiota with beneficial probiotics, thus making it possible to combat the reappearance of the pathogenic flora.
