[0028] [] (Image acquisition device according to the first embodiment)
[0029] First, a diagram of an image acquisition device according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to [Fig. 1A] and [Fig. 4]. [Fig. 1A] is a perspective view illustrating a diagram of the image acquisition device according to the first embodiment of the present invention, which illustrates a step of attaching an imaging device, on which a macro lens is mounted, to a main body. [Fig. 1B] is a perspective view illustrating a step of attaching a mounting element, to which an optical plate element is attached, to the main body to which the imaging device is attached after the step illustrated in [Fig. 1A]. [Fig.[Fig. 2] is a plan view illustrating the image acquisition device according to the first embodiment of the present invention. [Fig. 3] is a side view in the direction of arrows AA of [Fig. 2]. [Fig. 4] is an enlarged side sectional view schematically illustrating a region in which image acquisition is performed on [Fig. 3].
[0030] [] An image acquisition device 2 according to the present embodiment The system primarily comprises an imaging device 40 and a main body 4 on which the imaging device 40 is mounted. A portable terminal with an imaging function is used as the imaging device 40. The main body 4 includes a housing 10 having a mounting surface 10A on which the imaging device 40 is mounted, and a movable panel 30 movably attached to the housing 10. The movable panel 30 according to this embodiment is rotatably attached to the housing 10 with a rotation shaft G as its center of rotation.
[0031] [] The guiding elements 12 which ensure positioning when the device The imaging device 40 is mounted and is respectively fixed to both sides of the mounting surface 10A provided in the housing 10. The imaging device 40 is mounted on the housing 10, the incident surface 42A of an imaging unit 42 of the imaging device 40 being oriented downwards (i.e. on the side of the mounting surface 10A). As indicated by an arrow on [Fig.1A], the imaging device 40 is slid along the mounting surface 10A.
[0032] [] The imaging device 40 is slid from the left side to the right side in the drawing while being guided by the guide elements 12 and brought into contact with the right end portion of the guide elements 12. At this moment, the lateral surfaces on both sides and a top surface of the imaging device 40 are also retained by the guide elements 12, and the imaging device 40 is fixed to the housing 10. By moving the imaging device 40 fixed to the housing 10 towards the left side of Figure 1, the retaining element between the imaging device 40 and the guide elements 12 can be released, and the imaging device 40 can be detached from the housing 10.
[0033] [] A macro lens 50 is mounted on the imaging unit 42 of the imaging device 40 by a clamp-shaped lens attachment element 52. A lens hood 54 is attached to the distal end side of the macro lens 50. The lens hood 54 may be made, for example, of a metallic material such as black-colored aluminum or of an optically non-transmissive resin material.
[0034] [] As illustrated in Figure 1, a rear left side of the housing 10 is cut out and It presents a space in which are arranged the macro lens 50, the lens hood 54, and an optical plate element 60, which will be described later. As illustrated in [Fig. 4], the macro lens 50 is attached to the lens attachment element 52. The upper and lower bodies 52A and 52B of the clamp-shaped lens attachment element 52 are open, the imaging device 40 is inserted between the open bodies 52A and 52B, the bodies 52A and 52B are closed, and the lens attachment element 52 is mounted onto the imaging device 40. Consequently, the macro lens 50 is connected to the imaging unit 42 of the imaging device 40.
[0035] [] The movable panel 30 is rotatably fixed to a lower side of the housing 10. As illustrated in [Fig. 4], the upper surface of the movable panel 30 is a placement surface 30A on which an object S to be imaged is placed. A light source 20 is disposed below the placement surface 30A. The light source 20 is positioned to emit light towards the side of the placement surface 30A. Fundamentally, the movable panel 30 can be rotated manually by the user. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the movable panel 30 can also be rotated by an actuator.
[0036] [] The movable panel 30 moves in rotation between an imaging position where The placement surface 30A is close to the imaging unit 42, and there is a fixation and release position where the placement surface 30A is separated from the imaging unit. 42. At the fixing and release position indicated by a dotted line on [Fig.4], the object S can be placed on the placement surface 30A, or the object S placed on the placement surface 30A can be removed.
[0037] [] Then, by rotating the movable panel 30 towards the imaging position in a state in which the object S is placed on the placement surface 30A, the object S can be disposed between the placement surface 30A and the imaging unit 42 of the imaging device 40. At this moment, an emission surface 20A of the light source 20 located on the lower side of the placement surface 30A and the incident surface 42A of the imaging unit 42 located on the upper side of the placement surface 30A are disposed opposite each other.
[0038] [] The light source 20 is a light-emitting diode (LED) which emits a white light. However, the present invention is not limited to this. A light source that emits light including an ultraviolet or infrared region may be used, or a light source that emits light having a specific wavelength instead of white light may be used. A light-diffusing plate is disposed on one emitting side of the LED to function as a surface light source.
[0039] [] The light source 20 is switched between ON and OFF by a switch 70, and the intensity of the light to be emitted can be adjusted by a light source adjustment switch 72. A battery that powers the light source 20 and a control circuit that controls the light emission from the light source 20 are arranged in the housing 10.
[0040] [] In the present embodiment, the 50mm macro lens is arranged between the The lower surface of the imaging unit 42 and the placement surface 30A are connected. Furthermore, the optical plate element 60 can be positioned between the lower surface of the macro lens 50 and the placement surface 30A. As illustrated in [Fig. 1B], a mounting element 62, to which the optical plate element 60 is attached, is inserted between the lower surface of the macro lens 50 and the placement surface 30A. The mounting element 62 is made of a magnetic metal (e.g., steel) and has a substantially L-shaped lateral surface. The optical plate element 60 is attached to a through hole in a substantially horizontally oriented portion of the mounting element 62. The insert element 62A is protrudingly attached to an inner surface side of a substantially vertically oriented portion of the mounting element 62.
[0041] [] When the movable panel 30 is opened in the fixed and released position to facilitate the attachment and release of the attachment element 62, and the substantially horizontal surface portion of the attachment element 62 is inserted between the lower surface of the macro lens 50 and the placement surface 30A, the insertion element 62A is inserted into a guide hole 14A provided in the housing 10. Consequently, the fastening element 62 can be mounted while positioned relative to the housing 10. The magnet 14 is located in a region of the housing 10 where the guide hole 14A is situated, and the fastening element 62 is attached to the housing 10 by magnetic force. Because the fastening element 62 is attached by magnetic force, the user can easily attach and detach the fastening element 62 from the housing 10 with minimal force (see the arrow in [Fig. 1B]).
[0042] However, the present invention is not limited to this. The fastening element 62 can also be mechanically fixed to the housing 10 by using a fastening element without including the magnet 14 and with a male screw in place of the insertion element 62A and by screwing the fastening element into a female screw formed in place of the guide hole 14A.
[0043] [] Therefore, as illustrated in [Fig. 4], when the object S is placed on the Placement surface 30A at the imaging position, the optical plate element 60 is arranged between the macro lens 50 and the object S. Examples of the optical plate element 60 may include a transparent acrylic plate.
[0044] [] Therefore, as indicated by a dotted arrow in [Fig. 4], the Light emitted by the light source 20 passes through the object S, through the optical plate element 60 and the macro lens 50, and reaches the imaging unit 42 of the imaging device 40. As a result, it is possible to obtain an image of the object S in a state where the light is transmitted. At this point, the lens hood 54 can prevent stray light from entering the optical path from the outside.
[0045] [] As described above, in this embodiment, the movable panel The moving panel 30 is rotatably attached to the housing 10. With its simple design, the moving panel 30 can be reliably moved between the imaging position, where the placement surface 30A is close to the imaging unit 42, and the fixing and release position, where the placement surface 30A is separated from the imaging unit 42. The moving panel 30 can be lightly fixed using a fastening mechanism such as a magnet or a spring clip in an imaging position where the placement surface 30A is close to the imaging unit 42. In this way, the state in which the object S is sandwiched between the placement surface 30A and the lower surface of the optical plate element 60 can be maintained without requiring manual intervention. The user can release the retaining element from the fastening mechanism with slight force and rotate the optical plate element 60.
[0046] [] Given that the macro lens 50 is arranged between the imaging unit 42 of the With an imaging device 40 and object S, an image clearly illustrating the details of object S can be acquired. For example, when object S is a leaf of a plant, It is possible to acquire a clear image allowing identification of a mesophyll part and a vein part.
[0047] [] Furthermore, by arranging the optical plate element 60 between the macro lens 50 and object S, the stray light input can be suppressed and an image more suitable for analyzing object S can be acquired.
[0048] [] In the present embodiment, the 50 macro lens has a magnification of A magnification of 2 to 10 times is adopted, but the present invention is not limited to this, and a macro lens with any other magnification may be used. Any other lens besides the macro lens may be used depending on the application.
[0049] [] In the present embodiment, an acrylic plate is used as The optical plate element 60 can be used, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, a transparent glass plate can also be used. Furthermore, it is possible to give the optical plate element 60 a filter function. Depending on the application, a fiber optic plate (FOP) can also be used as the optical plate element 60. The FOP is an optical element comprising: a bundle of a plurality of optical fibers, in each of which the periphery of a core glass is covered with a facing glass; and an absorber filling the space between the optical fibers. Each optical fiber extends in the same direction. Since the light within the maximum admission angle of the optical fiber is totally reflected at the boundary between the core (glass) and the facing (glass), the light is transmitted into the core with high transmission efficiency.
[0050] [] Examples of a distance between the lower surface of the macro lens 50 and The placement surface 30A can range from approximately 4 mm to approximately 12 mm in size. Furthermore, the vertical distance in the space where the object S is positioned is reduced by the thickness of the optical plate element 60. For example, when the thickness of the optical plate element 60 is 2 mm, the distance between the lower surface of the optical plate element 60 and the placement surface 30A is approximately 2 mm to approximately 10 mm. Preferably, the distance between the lower surface of the optical plate element 60 and the placement surface 30A is appropriately determined, taking into account the maximum thickness of the object S from which an image is acquired. In other words, it is preferable to determine the distance between the mounting surface 10A of the housing 10 and the placement surface 30A of the movable panel 30 taking into account the maximum thickness of the object S, the thickness of the macro lens 50 and the thickness of the optical plate element 60..
[0051] [] In the present embodiment, the imaging device 40 to which the objective The macro 50 lens is attached via the lens attachment element 52 mounted on the housing 10 of the main body 4, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, the macro 50 lens can be pre-attached to the housing 10 of the Main body 4. However, although the optical plate element 60 is fixed to the housing 10 of the main body 4, the present invention is not limited to this. As with the macro lens 50, the optical plate element 60 can be fixed to the imaging device side 40 via the lens attachment element 52.
[0052] [] When the object S whose image is acquired is a leaf of a plant, the Image acquisition device 2 according to this embodiment can be used effectively to cultivate the plant. For example, even at an early stage where the healthy and etiolated regions cannot be easily distinguished by observing the leaf with the naked eye, the healthy and unhealthy etiolated regions can be easily distinguished by acquiring an image with the image acquisition device 2. Etiolation can be accurately detected at an early stage of yellowing during which chlorophyll decreases, and appropriate measures can be taken.
[0053] [] Furthermore, when a portable terminal is used as the imaging device 40. The acquired image data can be easily transmitted to a server where the analysis is performed. On the server, the chloroplast distribution state of the leaf can be analyzed based on the transmitted image data, and the analysis results can be sent to the handheld terminal. Therefore, the user can easily understand the analysis results using the handheld terminal's display.
[0054] [] As described above, when the imaging device 40 is a terminal Equipped with a portable device and imaging capabilities, anyone can easily acquire an image of the illuminated object S and transmit the acquired image data to a server or equivalent for analysis. Furthermore, the results of the analysis performed by the server can be received by the portable device and easily reviewed on its display.
[0055] [] However, the present invention is not limited to the use of a A portable terminal with an imaging function, such as the 40 imaging device. For example, any other camera can be used. In this case, it is best to attach a suitable camera mount adapter to the 10A mounting surface.
[0056] [] (Image acquisition device according to the second embodiment)
[0057] Hereinafter, an image acquisition device according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to [Fig. 5]. [Fig. 5] is an enlarged side sectional view schematically illustrating a region in which image acquisition is performed in the image acquisition device according to the second embodiment of the present invention.
[0058] [] In the first embodiment described above, the movable panel 30 performs a rotational movement about the rotation shaft G relative to the housing 10. However, the second embodiment differs from the first embodiment in that the movable panel 30 performs a translational movement relative to the housing 10. In the present embodiment, the levers L, located at two points on each side of the movable panel 30, rotate about the rotation shafts G, so that a movable panel 30' moves substantially in parallel. In this way, while maintaining a substantially parallel state, the movable panel 30' rotates between an imaging position where the placement surface 30A is close to the imaging unit 42 and a fixing and release position where the placement surface 30A is separated from the imaging unit 42.
[0059] [] However, the mechanism for moving the movable panel 30 is not limited to The above, and any other displacement mechanism, can be adopted, including a case in which the movable panel 30 is moved vertically using a vertically extendable and retractable element. As in the first embodiment, the movable panel 30 can be lightly fixed using a fastening mechanism such as a magnet or a spring clip to an imaging position where the placement surface 30A is close to the imaging unit 42.
[0060] [] As described above, the image acquisition device 2 according to the present The invention, comprising the first and second embodiments, includes the imaging device 40, the main body 4 on which the imaging device 40 is mounted and which has the placement surface 30A on which the object S is placed, and the light source 20 provided on the main body 4. In a state in which the imaging device 40 is mounted on the main body 4, the emitting surface 20A of the light source 20 and the incident surface 42A of the imaging unit 42 of the imaging device 40 are arranged opposite each other. The object S placed on the placement surface 30A is positioned along an optical path along which the light emitted by the light source reaches the imaging unit 42.
[0061] [] This configuration does not require a special imaging device and various Imaging means, including a portable terminal with an imaging function, can therefore be used as the imaging device 40. Because the object S placed on the placement surface 30A is positioned on the optical path along which the light emitted by the light source 20 reaches the imaging unit 42, it is possible to acquire a clear image of the object S on which the light is applied, in particular, through which the light is transmitted.
[0062] [] Generally, to perform imaging in a state in which a sheet When a plant is illuminated by light from a light source, it is It is necessary for two or more people to perform the imaging. When imaging is performed while the sheet is held in the hand, it is difficult to obtain a clear image. However, when the image acquisition device 2 according to this embodiment is used, the positions of the object S illuminated by the light emitted by the light source 20 and of the imaging unit 42 are maintained. A clear image can therefore be easily acquired by a single user.
[0063] When a leaf of a plant as object S is placed on the placement surface 30A, it is not necessary to cut the leaf from the plant, and the leaf can be easily disposed in the imaging position between the placement surface 30A and the imaging unit 42 in a state in which the leaf is not removed from the plant.
[0064] [] With this configuration, it is possible to provide the acquisition device Image 2 allows anyone to easily acquire an image of the illuminated object S. Furthermore, a more user-friendly design can be achieved by bending the corner sections of the components, including the housing 10 and the movable panel 30.
[0065] [] The main body 4 comprises: the housing 10 on which the imaging device 40 is mounted; and the movable panel 30 comprising the light source 20 and the placement surface 30A and movably fixed to the housing 10. The movable panel 30 moves between the imaging position where the placement surface 30A is close to the imaging unit 42 and a fixing and release position where the placement surface 30A is separated from the imaging unit 42.
[0066] [] The movable panel 30 can perform a rotational displacement (movement) by relative to the housing 10 as in the first embodiment described above, or can perform a translational displacement (movement) relative to the housing 10 as in the second embodiment. Only the movement of the movable panel 30 allows the object S to be easily placed on the placement surface 30A and the optimal position for imaging to be obtained.
[0067] [] In this way, because the movable panel 30 moves between the position imaging and fixation and release position, object S can be easily placed on or removed from the placement surface 30A at the fixation and release position, and the image of object S can be reliably acquired at the imaging position.
