Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: DEVICE FOR QUICKLY ATTACHING AT LEAST ONE ACCESSORY TO A SUPPORT, CORRESPONDING SYSTEM AND AIRCRAFT Technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for rapid attachment of at least one accessory. Such an accessory makes it possible to receive and hold on a support, an element to be fixed such as for example an electric cable or a hydraulic pipe. These accessories are in particular adapted to be fixed to supports mounted in aircraft. The invention also relates to a rapid attachment system and an aircraft comprising such devices and / or such rapid attachment systems. STATE OF THE PRIOR ART
[0002] Usually, to fix elements such as electrical cables or hydraulic pipes on supports, fixing collars are used. These fixing collars carry a fixing screw which cooperates with a nut arranged on the other side of the support on which the element is to be fixed.
[0003] This technique is satisfactory in terms of reliability of fixing the element on the support. However, this technique is relatively complex to implement since it requires relative dexterity on the part of the operator to fix all the elements together and with the support. This assembly complexity is increased when it is necessary to fix such elements in aircraft since the working space for the operators is relatively restricted and the rear of the support on which the element must be fixed is generally not accessible.
[0004] The operations of fixing these elements are therefore relatively time-consuming. In addition, the dismantling and / or replacement of these elements also requires a relatively long operating time, which is not satisfactory.
[0005] It is therefore necessary to provide a solution for fixing an element to a support, in particular mounted in an aircraft, which is simple and quick to implement. Description of the invention
[0006] An object of the present invention is to provide a quick attachment device for fixing an accessory to a support which is simple and quick to use.
[0007] For this purpose, a device is proposed for quickly attaching at least one accessory comprising a bore on a support comprising a first and a second surface opposite one another, said device comprising: - first fixing means comprising a head and a threaded rod intended to be fitted into the bore of the accessory, or a nut with a thread; and - second fixing means comprising a body having a threaded hole, or respectively a threaded rod intended to be fitted into the bore of the accessory, configured to cooperate with said threaded rod, or respectively said nut with a thread, of said first fixing means.
[0008] According to the invention, said second fixing means comprise: - a support plate having a bore coaxial with said tapped hole, or respectively said threaded rod, of the second fixing means, through which the threaded rod of said first fixing means is screwed into the tapped hole of said second fixing means, or respectively through which the threaded rod of said second fixing means is screwed into the nut with a thread of said first fixing means, said support plate having a first surface intended to be arranged against the first surface of said support, and where the support plate and the head of the first fixing means or respectively the nut with a thread of the first fixing means are intended to grip the accessory; - at least one stop secured to said body, said at least one stop being intended to come into contact with the second surface of said support; - at least one connecting element connecting said body to said support counterplate.
[0009] Such a quick-attach device makes it possible to easily and quickly attach an accessory to a support even if the rear face of the support is not accessible to the operator. The installation of the second attachment means in the bore of the support is easy, in particular because the second attachment means are held in position by said at least one elastic element.
[0010] Advantageously, said support counter-plate comprises a passage opening and said at least one part of said at least one connecting element passes through said passage opening and is secured to a second surface of said support counter-plate, opposite said first surface of said counter-plate.
[0011] According to a particular aspect, said at least one connecting element is in the form of an elastic tab comprising a first end fixed to said body and a second free end passing through said passage opening, and comprising a portion curved against said second surface of said support counterplate and projecting relative to the second surface.
[0012] According to another particular aspect, said at least one stop is in the form of a support leg extending from said body in the direction of said support counter-plate.
[0013] According to a particular aspect, the device further comprises a protective support counter-plate secured to said second surface of the support counter-plate.
[0014] According to another particular aspect, said protective support counter-plate has a thickness at least equal to said curved portion of said tab and in that said protective support counter-plate comprises, for each curved portion, a notch arranged to receive said curved portion.
[0015] The invention also proposes a system comprising at least one quick-attach device as described above and at least one accessory comprising a bore into which the threaded rod is inserted and clamped between the support counterplate and the head of the first fixing means or respectively the nut with a thread of the first fixing means.
[0016] According to a particular aspect, said at least one accessory comprises a receiving and holding collar.
[0017] According to another particular aspect, said at least one accessory is in the form of a fixing plate on which at least one receiving and holding collar is fixed.
[0018] The invention also relates to an aircraft comprising at least one quick attachment device as described previously and / or at least one system as described previously. Brief description of the drawings

[0027] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS
[0028] [Fig. 1] to 5 illustrate an embodiment of a device 1 for quickly attaching an accessory 10 to a support 2. Such a support 2, preferably fixed, can in particular be mounted in an aircraft, for example inside the fairing of the aircraft. In the examples illustrated, the support 2 has a bore 23 intended to cooperate with the quick attachment device 1 to allow the accessory 10 to be fixed to the support 2. In the embodiment of the invention presented here, the bore 23 is rectangular in shape, or more generally parallelepiped.
[0029] This quick-attach device 1 makes it possible to easily and quickly fix the accessory 10 to the support 2. Preferably, the accessory 10 to be fixed is a means for receiving and holding an element such as a cable (electrical or computer in particular) or a fluid transport pipe (hydraulic or pneumatic in particular). It is also possible to fix measuring equipment (such as sensors or probes) or electronic equipment (such as cameras or computer network interconnection equipment) to the accessory 10.
[0030] According to the illustrated embodiment, the quick-attach device 1 comprises first fixing means 11, which in this example are in the form of a fixing screw 11a comprising a head 11b and a threaded rod 11e. The first fixing means 11 may further comprise a washer 11d.
[0031] The first fixing means 11 are configured to cooperate with second fixing means 12 in the form of a nut. The nut 12 comprises a body 120 having a thread so as to allow screwing of the threaded rod 11e of the fixing screw 11a of the first fixing means 11.
[0032] It is obviously understood that the threaded rod 11c of the first fixing means and the tapped hole of the second fixing means 12 can be interchanged without departing from the principle of the invention. Thus, the first fixing means would comprise a tapped hole while the second fixing means would comprise a threaded rod intended to cooperate by screwing with the tapped hole of the first fixing means.
[0033] According to the invention, and as illustrated in [Fig.2], the nut 12 comprises a support counter-plate 124 cooperating with the first fixing means 11. More precisely, the support counter-plate 124 has a hole 124a preferably located substantially in the center of the support counterplate 124. The hole 124a is coaxial with the tapped hole of the nut 12 (along the axis A) and allows the passage of the fixing screw 11a of the first fixing means 11 for screwing the threaded rod 11c into the tapped hole of the nut 12.
[0034] The support counter-plate 124 has a first surface 124d intended to come into contact with / bear against a first surface 21 of the support 2. In this example, the first surface 21 of the support 2 is constituted by the surface against which the accessory 10 is intended to be fixed.
[0035] The nut 12 comprises at least one connecting element 123 which connects the support counter-plate 124 to the body 120 of the nut 12. Such a connecting element 123 is an elastic element which makes it possible to maintain the support counter-plate 124 in position relative to the body 120. Consequently, the support counter-plate 124 is held against the first surface 21 of the support 2 when the body 120 of the nut 12 is inserted through the bore 23 on the other side of the support 2 (as described in more detail in the remainder of this description).
[0036] In this example, the nut 12 has a generally rectangular, or more generally parallelepiped, external shape, and comprises two connecting elements 123 arranged on opposite sides of the nut 12.
[0037] In this example, the connecting elements 123 are each in the form of an elastic tab, such as a spring tab. The elastic tab 123 here comprises a first end 123b fixed to the body 120 and a second end 123a called “free” intended to pass through the bore 23 of the support 2 and cooperate with the support counter-plate 124. More precisely, the support counter-plate 124 comprises at least one passage opening 124b through which at least a portion of the elastic tab 123 passes.
[0038] In this example, the part of the elastic tongue 123 passing through the passage opening 124b is the second end 123a. Thus, the second free end 123a of the elastic tongue 123 passes through the support counter-plate 124, at the passage opening 124b. The second end 123a therefore projects here relative to a second surface 124c of the support counter-plate 124, opposite the first surface 124d of the support counter-plate 124. The second end 123a is connected to the second surface 124c so as to hold the support counter-plate 124 with the body 120 of the nut 12.
[0039] To do this, the second end 123a has in this example a curved or folded portion 123c, coming to bear against the second surface 124c of the support counter-plate 124 so as to ensure reliable and effective maintenance of the support counter-plate 124 relative to the body 120 of the nut. The elastic tab 123 also allows, thanks to the restoring force that it exerts between the counter-plate support plate 124 and the body of the nut 120, to ensure optimal pressing of the support counter-plate 124 against the first surface 21 of the support 2 when the body 120 of the nut 12 is arranged on the other side of the support 2 (as illustrated in figures 4 and 5 in particular).
[0040] The nut 12 further comprises at least one stop 122 secured to the body 120. In this example, the nut 12 comprises two stops 122 which are arranged on opposite sides, or faces, of the body of the nut 12 and in an offset manner relative to the connecting elements 123.
[0041] In this example, and as illustrated in Figures 4 and 5 in particular, each stop 122 is in the form of a support leg which extends from a first end 122a secured to the body 120 (in this example substantially at the same level as the connecting elements 123, that is to say in the vicinity of the free end 120a of the body 120 located opposite the counter-plate 124) in the direction of the support counter-plate 124 (in other words in the direction of the second surface 22 of the support 2) to a second end 122b intended to come to bear against the second surface 22 of the support 2 after assembly.
[0042] It is obviously understood that it would be possible to implement a different number of connecting elements 123 (for example a single tab, or three or four tabs distributed regularly around the body 120 of the nut) without departing from the principle of the invention.
[0043] In the same way, it would be possible to implement a different number of stops 122 (for example a single stop, or three or four stops distributed regularly around the body 120 of the nut) without departing from the principle of the invention.
[0044] When the body 120 of the nut 12 is inserted through the bore 23 of the support 2, the first surface 124d of the support counter-plate 124 is brought into abutment against the first surface 21 of the support 2 and at the same time, the second end 122b of each stop 122 passes beyond the support 2 to come opposite the second surface 22 of the support 2.
[0045] It should be noted that in order to insert the body 120 of the nut 12 through the bore 23 of the support 2, it is necessary to slightly deform the stops 122, that is to say to bring the stops 122 closer to each other (for example manually by the user by exerting a slight force on the stops towards each other, or due to the introduction of the stops 122 into the bore 23 which tends to tighten the stops 122 towards each other), to allow the stops 122 to pass through the bore 23. Once the second ends 122b of the stops 122 have passed the bore 23, the force exerted on the stops 122 can be released so that the stops 122 return to their initial position. The stops 122 are therefore deformed between a initial position (which constitutes the natural position of the stops 122 and in which the stops 122 are configured to come into contact with the second surface 22 of the support 2) and a slightly close position (which is the position in which a force is applied to the stops 122 to bring them together and allow the body 120 to pass through the bore 23).
[0046] When the first and second fixing means 11, 12 are tightened (as described in more detail below), the second end 122b of each stop 122 comes into contact with / bears against the second surface 22 of the support 2. In this way, the support 2 is clamped between the support counter-plate 124 and the stops 122 so as to ensure optimal maintenance of the device 1 on the support 2.
[0047] It is easily understood that the shape and dimensions of the support counter-plate 124 and of the body 120 of the nut 12 are adapted to the shape and dimensions of the bore 23 made in the support 2. Thus, in the examples illustrated, the bore 23 made in the support 2 has a substantially rectangular, or more generally parallelepipedal, shape. The support counter-plate 124 and the body 120 of the nut 12 therefore have shapes and dimensions adapted so that the body of the nut 12 can be inserted into the bore 23 and that its stops 122 can come to bear against the second surface 22 of the support 2, on the periphery of the bore 23, and that the support counter-plate 124 comes to bear against the first surface 21 of the support 2, on the periphery of the bore 23 also.
[0048] It is understood that it is therefore possible to propose a bore 23 of the support 2 which has another shape, preventing the rotation of the nut 12 in the bore 23 during the subsequent screwing of the fixing screw 11a, and therefore a support counter-plate 124 and a nut body 120 of also adapted shape without departing from the principle of the invention.
[0049] According to an alternative embodiment, illustrated in [Fig. 6], the quick-attach device 1' (partially illustrated) further comprises a protective support counter-plate 125. In other words, the quick-attach device 1' has a structure and operation identical to the quick-attach device 1 described in relation to the embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5. Thus, the identical elements have the same numerical references and are therefore not described again in detail.
[0050] As indicated above, the quick-attach device 1' of this variant embodiment therefore differs from the quick-attach device 1 of the embodiment previously described in that it comprises the protective support counter-plate 125.
[0051] This protective support counter-plate 125 acts in particular as a reinforcement plate and therefore allows the quick-attach device 1' to withstand mechanical forces greater than the device 1 of the embodiment previously described. implementation of this protective support counterplate 125 allows for example the fixing of a fixing plate (as described in the remainder of this description).
[0052] In this example, the protective support counter-plate 125 is secured to the second surface 124c of the support counter-plate 124. For example, the support counter-plates 124, 125 can be secured by welding or by gluing. It is obviously understood that other solutions for securing the support counter-plate 124 with the protective support counter-plate 125 can be envisaged.
[0053] The protective support counter-plate 125 comprises a hole 125b coaxial with the hole 124a of the support counter-plate 124 (along the axis A) to allow the passage of the fixing screw 11a.
[0054] In the example illustrated in [Fig.6], the protective support counter-plate 125 has a thickness at least equal to the thickness of the curved portion 123c of the elastic tongue 123 projecting relative to the support counter-plate 124.
[0055] The protective support counterplate 125 also has, for each curved portion 123c, a notch 125a arranged to receive said curved portion 123c. In this way, the curved portion 123c is embedded / integrated in the thickness of the protective support counter-plate 125 which makes it possible, in particular, to obtain a flat support surface facilitating the fixing of an accessory (such as a fixing plate) because the accessory can directly come into contact with / come into contact with the protective support counter-plate 125. Such a protective support counter-plate 125 also makes it possible to avoid crushing of the curved portion 123c of the elastic tab 123, thus ensuring optimal support of the stops 122 against the second surface 22 of the support 2 and limiting the risks of removal of the second end 123a of the elastic tab 123 from the passage opening 124b by deformation of the curved portion 123c.
[0056] The implementation of such a protective support counter-plate 125 is therefore particularly advantageous in the case of use of the device 1' for fixing a plate, in particular.
[0057] The invention also relates to a quick-attachment system 3 comprising at least one quick-attachment device 1, 1' according to any one of the exemplary embodiments described previously and at least one accessory 10.
[0058] The accessory 10 comprises a securing portion 102 intended to cooperate with the first fixing means 11 and the nut 12. To do this, the securing portion 102 comprises a bore 103 arranged to allow the passage of the fixing screw 11a of the first fixing means 11. The securing portion 102 is therefore clamped between the first fixing means 11 (more precisely the head 11b of the fixing screw 11a) and the second surface 124c of the support counterplate 124.
[0059] In the example illustrated in [Fig.l], the system 3 implements a quick-attach device 1 and an accessory 10. The accessory 10 here comprises means for receiving and holding at least one element which are integral with the securing portion 102. In this example, the receiving and holding means are more particularly in the form of a collar, in particular adapted to receive and hold in position electric cables or hydraulic pipes. It is also conceivable that the accessory is in the form of a fixing plate (not illustrated) capable of carrying at least one collar for receiving and holding a cable or a pipe, for example. Such a fixing plate could also carry electronic equipment or measuring devices.
[0060] More precisely, each collar 10 comprises a receiving portion 101 for the element to be fixed, which, in this example, has a substantially tubular shape whose diameter is preferably chosen to ensure optimal reception and maintenance of a cable or a pipe.
[0061] It is obviously understood that the shape of the receiving portion 101 of the accessory 10 may differ depending on the element to be fixed. Numerous shapes of the receiving portion 101 of the accessory can be envisaged without departing from the principle of the invention.
[0062] In the example illustrated in [Fig.l], only one collar 10 is implemented. It is obviously understood that a different number of collars can be implemented without departing from the principle of the invention.
[0063] The device and the quick attachment system of the invention can therefore be implemented to fix various accessories 10 to a support 2.
[0064] The invention also relates to an aircraft 9 (illustrated in [Fig.7]) implementing at least one quick-attach device 1, 1' as described previously, in order to fix elements on supports 2 arranged in and / or on the aircraft 9. In addition, the aircraft 9 can, in addition or as a substitute, implement at least one quick-attach system 3 as described previously in order to fix elements on supports 2 arranged in and / or on the aircraft 9.
[0065] The operation and use of a quick-attach device 1, 1' according to any of the embodiments described above are relatively simple and quick. Indeed, in order to fix one or more accessories 10 on a support 2 mounted in an aircraft, it is first of all sufficient to assemble the first fixing means 11 with the accessory 10. In the example illustrated in [Fig.l], a single accessory 10 in the form of a receiving and holding collar is implemented. It is therefore sufficient to align the bore 103 of the fixing portion 102 with the hole 124a of the support counter-plate 124 (and with the hole 125b of the protective counter-plate 125 when implemented) and insert the fixing screw 11a through the washer 11d, the bore 103 of the fixing portion 102 of the collar 10 and the hole 124a of the support counter-plate 124 (and the hole 125b of the protection counter-plate 125 when implemented), then screw the fixing screw 11a with the nut 12.
[0066] Preferably, the tightening is not carried out completely so as to provide an axial clearance of a few millimeters (preferably between 1 and 3 mm) between the support counter-plate 124 and the body 120 of the nut in order to facilitate the positioning of the body 120 of the nut 12 on the other side of the support 2, and of the second end 122b of each stop 122 against the second surface 22 of the support 2.
[0067] When the first fixing means 11, the accessory 10 and the nut 12 are assembled, this assembly can be inserted into the rectangular or parallelepiped hole 23 of the support 2. This insertion can be done manually, and if necessary, can be completed or accompanied by the use of a tool such as a screwdriver to insert the assembly until the support counter-plate 124 comes into contact with the first surface 21 of the support 2. The axial play of a few millimeters provided between the support counter-plate 124 and the body 120 of the nut allows the stops 122 to pass through the orifice 23 of the support 2 and to deploy so as to come into contact with the second surface 22 of the support 2 in order to ensure the locking of the nut 12. The elastic tabs 123 make it possible to hold the assembly in position before the final tightening described below.
[0068] And after the second end 122b of each stop 122 has been placed opposite the second surface 22 of the support 2, it is then sufficient to finalize the tightening, that is to say the screwing of the fixing screw 11a. The fixing of the accessory 10 on the support 2 is then complete and therefore requires only a few steps, all of which are simple and quick to carry out.
[0069] It should be noted that the insertion of the nut 12 into the rectangular hole 23 of the support 2 can be carried out by force. It is also possible to provide stops 122 which have a slight elasticity / deformation to allow passage through the rectangular hole 23, as described previously.
[0070] As illustrated in Figures 3 to 5, after passing through the rectangular bore 23, the stops 122 are deployed on the other side of the support 2 and come to bear against the second surface 22 of the support 2 during tightening.
[0071] Before complete tightening, it is the elastic tabs 123 which make it possible to hold the nut 12 in position in the rectangular bore 23 since the tabs 123 exert a restoring force which brings the body 120 and the support counter-plate 124 together.
[0072] Furthermore, the support counter-plate 124, which supports the collars 10 before tightening, ensures correct support and positioning of the latter until complete tightening.
[0073] The installation of an element such as a cable or a pipe in the accessory 10 can be carried out prior to the installation of the nut 12 in the rectangular hole 23 of the support or after the complete tightening of the device 1, 1', for example.
[0074] The element can be removed by removing the latter from the accessory 10. It can also be done by unscrewing the first fixing means 11 so as to detach, or dismantle, the accessory 10 from the nut 12. The nut 12 then remains secured to the support 2 thanks to the return force exerted by the elastic tabs 123 between the support counter-plate 124 and the body 120 of the nut 12.
[0075] Thus, the replacement or reassembly of an accessory 10 can be done easily by screwing the fixing screw 11a through the bore 103 into the nut 12, as described previously.
[0076] In the event that it is necessary to remove the nut 12 from the support 2. The stops 122 must be deformed, that is to say that the stops 122 must be sufficiently close to the body 120 to allow the removal of the body 120 of the nut 12 from the rectangular bore 23 of the support 2. The use of a tool, such as pliers, may be necessary to bring the stops 122 closer to the body 120 of the nut 12 when extracting the latter.
