The invention relates to a method for controlling at least one function implemented in a motor vehicle. A pictogram is displayed on a component of the vehicle's human-machine interface, the pictogram indicating information relating to a first function, said first function being a driver attention monitoring function based on data from an interior camera of the vehicle; detection (302) of user input on said pictogram displayed on the human-machine interface component; activation (305-311) of a second vehicle function, said second function being distinct from the first function, depending on the user input.
