[0001] The present invention relates to a windshield washer reservoir for a motor vehicle and the motor vehicle comprising it. State of the art

[0002] The engine compartment of modern motor vehicles is often filled with various components and the volume being constrained, designers must think about the organization of these components so that they fit within the allotted volume while respecting rules of operation and accessibility.

[0003] One of the components is the reservoir containing the windshield washer fluid intended to clean the vehicle's windshield. It must have a reasonable capacity so as not to require the user to refill it too frequently, and therefore it occupies a significant volume.

[0004] There is therefore a real need for a windshield washer reservoir that can be placed in the front compartment of the vehicle without interfering with the installation of other components. Description of the invention

[0005] To resolve one or more of the aforementioned drawbacks, according to a first embodiment, a motor vehicle windshield washer reservoir includes a reservoir body adapted to contain windshield washer fluid, fixing elements adapted to fix it between the fender support of the right front wheel and the right front bumper and a fixing support for a vehicle acoustic warning system.

[0006] Integrating the acoustic warning system with the tank advantageously allows the tank to be installed in front of the right front fender and thus optimizes space.

The spout 23 extends up the inlet of the tank under the hood in such a way that this inlet is accessible to the user when they open the hood.

[0018] The tank 3 also includes 2 receiving fixings in the form of screw barrels 25, 27 made of plastic on each side of a substantially U-shaped recess. These screw barrels are intended to allow the acoustic warning system 9 to be fixed to the tank 3 by means of screws made of soft material.

The acoustic warning system 9 also includes an electrical connector 41 for receiving power and commands from the vehicle's central harness.

[0021] Fig. 4 represents the tank 4 assembled with the acoustic warning system 9. System 9 is positioned in the U-shaped recess and is secured to the tank by two soft-material screws (not shown) that pass through holes 37, 39 in the mounting brackets 11, 13 to screw into the screw holes 25, 27. The system's connector 41 is plugged into the tank's electrical connector 29. Therefore, only one wiring harness is required, combining the power supply and controls for both the tank and system 9.

Motor vehicle comprising right and left front fender supports, a front bumper, an acoustic warning system and a windshield washer reservoir (3) (1) comprising a reservoir body (21) adapted to contain windshield washer fluid and fasteners adapted to fix said reservoir between the right front wheel fender support and the right front bumper, characterized in that said reservoir (3) comprises at least one mounting bracket (25,27) comprising at least two receiving fasteners in the form of screw barrels intended to allow the fixing of said vehicle acoustic warning system (9) on said reservoir (3).

2. Vehicle comprising right and left front fender supports, a bumper, a tank according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a U-shaped recessed portion to receive the vehicle's acoustic warning system.

3. Vehicle comprising right and left front fender supports, a bumper, a tank according to any one of claims 1 to 2, characterized in that it comprises a connector (29) of electrical control harness common to the tank and the vehicle acoustic warning system.

4. Vehicle comprising right and left front fender supports, a bumper, a tank according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that it comprises a filler neck (23) adapted to exit under the hood of the vehicle when the tank is installed.
