Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Method for transferring at least one false eyelash onto an applicator from a support, necessary for associated false eyelash
[0001] The present invention relates to a method of transferring at least one false eyelash onto an applicator from a support comprising the following steps: - provision of a false eyelash holder comprising at least one false eyelash retaining element, at least one false eyelash held by the retaining element of the holder and provision of an applicator defining a retaining surface, - reversible gripping of the at least one false eyelash with the retaining surface of the applicator, defining a retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator induced by the retaining surface of the applicator, - moving the applicator away from the false eyelash holder and separating the false eyelash from the retention element.
[0002] When a user wishes to place false eyelashes on their natural eyelashes, it is necessary to have a suitable storage space in which the false eyelashes can be stored before application to the natural eyelashes, and stored once removed.
[0003] Then it is necessary to transfer them, using a gripping tool, from the false eyelash storage space to the user's natural eyelashes.
[0004] Generally, a false eyelash is formed from artificial fibers. It comprises a base line to which a plurality of artificial eyelashes and / or artificial fibers are attached. The base line of a false eyelash is curved in order to adapt to the curvature of the eyelid. Similarly, artificial eyelashes are curved in order to reproduce the curvature of natural eyelashes.
[0005] Since false eyelashes are generally fragile and the curvature of their base line is generally easily deformable, the step of transferring the false eyelash can be tricky, especially if it is held with the user's fingers.
[0006] It is known to use supports for false eyelashes having a retaining element for at least one false eyelash, generally adapted to match the curved shape of the false eyelash. The retaining element can act mechanically by a geometric feature such as a slot or grooves for inserting the false eyelash, or such as a clip or tab for pinching the false eyelash. The retaining element can also act chemically, using a non-permanent adhesive to hold the false eyelash on the support.
[0007] US9044077 describes for example a support for false eyelashes comprising a base and at at least one false eyelash retaining element projecting from the bottom in an elevation direction. The retaining element comprises false eyelash holding clips which pinch the false eyelash between two flat surfaces.
[0008] Other supports for false eyelashes are described in documents US3504682, US20210161265, CN216510310 and US10588389.
[0009] While some of these supports ensure effective retention of the false eyelash on the support, they are not entirely satisfactory in that they do not facilitate the removal of the false eyelash from the support. By "facilitate" it is understood that the movement to be made by the user is not necessarily comfortable and / or that the removal of the false eyelash is delicate in the sense that it is easy to damage it when grasping.
[0010] In particular, when a non-permanent adhesive is used, removal of the false eyelash from the support may result in damage by deformation of the curvature of the artificial eyelashes, the curvature of the base line of the false eyelash, or may result in tearing of certain artificial eyelashes from the false eyelash.
[0011] Furthermore, the use of clamps or clamping tabs, exerting an elastic force on the false eyelash, creates a risk of alteration of the integrity of the false eyelash, in particular when it is removed from the support, and / or of the geometry of the false eyelash, in particular when it is stored on the support.
[0012] US 2020 / 0323325 describes a method of gripping false eyelashes in which the user uses a false eyelash applicator comprising two branches forming a clamp. The user then pinches the false eyelash between the branches in order to grip it and disengage it from a support.
[0013] To hold the false eyelash in the pliers, the operator must constantly apply a force bringing the branches of the pliers closer together, which by default causes the operator's hand to tense up. This can make gripping the false eyelash unpleasant for the operator.
[0014] An aim of the invention is then to propose a method for transferring at least one false eyelash onto an applicator from a support holding the false eyelash in a reversible manner, the method making it possible to facilitate the transfer for the user, without altering the false eyelash when the user removes it from the support.
[0015] To this end, the invention relates to a method for transferring at least one false eyelash onto an applicator from a support, characterized in that the reversible gripping of the at least one false eyelash is carried out by simple contact between the retaining surface of the applicator and the at least one false eyelash, and in that the retention force of the false eyelash on the retention element of the support is less than the retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator, the movement of the applicator away from the support disengaging the at least one false eyelash from the retention element of the support by simple contact between the retaining surface of the applicator and the false eyelash.
[0016] By simple contact with the retaining surface, the user grasps the false eyelash and separates it from the retaining element. The retention force of the false eyelash on the retaining element of the support being less than the retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator, and being advantageously less than or equal to 75% of the retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator induced by contact with the retaining surface, the user does not need to retain the false eyelash on the applicator when removing the applicator, and thus does not apply pressure to a portion of the false eyelash, which could deform the artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash. The movement is then more fluid, more comfortable and the user can grasp the false eyelash without having to keep his fingers tense as he would have to do with a pliers-shaped applicator.
[0017] According to a variant, the transfer method according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0018] - the movement of the applicator away from the support is carried out by simple de placing the retaining surface away from the false eyelash retaining element, without grasping the false eyelash by the fingers of the user or an operator, or by a false eyelash retaining tool.
[0019] Since the applicator is moved away from the support by simply moving the retaining surface away from the false eyelash retaining element, the risk of damaging the false eyelash by deformation is minimized. The user does not need to assist in the disengagement of the false eyelash from the support, and thus does not pull with his fingers or with a gripping tool on a part of the false eyelash likely to cause an alteration of their integrity and / or their geometry.
[0020] According to a variant, the transfer method according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0021] - the movement of the applicator away from the support is carried out by a movement in a direction normal to the retaining element of the support and / or is carried out by a movement in a direction comprising a component parallel to a direction of elevation of the retaining element.
[0022] Because the artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash are flexible, the user can disengage the false eyelash from the holder by sliding the false eyelash away from the holder.
[0023] The user approaches the applicator towards the false eyelash, making a direction of elongation of the applicator substantially coincide with a normal to the retention element, until contact between the retention surface of the applicator and the false eyelash.
[0024] When removing the applicator carrying the false eyelash away from the support, the user moves the applicator away from the support by making the direction of elongation of the applicator substantially coincide with a normal to the retention element.
[0025] Alternatively, the user brings the applicator towards the false eyelash by making a direction of elongation of the applicator substantially coincide with a normal to the retention element, until contact between the retaining surface of the applicator and the false eyelash, then applies to the applicator a combined movement relative to the support, comprising a component extending parallel to a direction of elevation of the retention element.
[0026] In doing so, the retaining surface of the applicator comes into contact with the base line of the false eyelash and carries the false eyelash in this movement to separate it from the support.
[0027] In another variant, the user separates the false eyelash from the support using a combination of these movements of extracting the false eyelash away from the support by means of the applicator.
[0028] The movement is simple and quick and does not require the user to think or perform a complex twisting movement of the hand or otherwise.
[0029] According to a variant, the transfer method according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0030] - the movement of the applicator away from the support is followed by a deposition step of at least one false eyelash on a user's natural eyelashes.
[0031] The retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator induced by contact with the retaining surface is sufficient not only to disengage the false eyelash from the support, but also to move it, by simple contact with the retaining surface, towards the user's natural eyelashes in order to place the false eyelash on the natural eyelashes.
[0032] According to a variant, the method according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0033] - the retention force of the false eyelash on the retention element of the support results from a mechanical engagement of the at least one false eyelash in the retention element without adhesion of the at least one false eyelash to the retention element of the support.
[0034] The mechanical engagement of the false eyelash to the support, unlike a chemical type of engagement with a non-permanent adhesive product, protects the false eyelash from potential damage when the user disengages the false eyelash from the retention element using the applicator. In addition, with a mechanical type of engagement, the false eyelash is not coated with a chemical product such as an adhesive product that would have to be removed before the false eyelash is applied to the natural eyelashes.
[0035] According to a variant, the method according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0036] - the false eyelash retaining surface of the applicator comprises a plurality of members retaining projections, in particular a plurality of spikes and / or teeth, extending between an end connected to the retaining surface and a free end opposite the connected end and, during the contact gripping step, the retaining projections are inserted and / or embedded in the false eyelash, advantageously by separating the artificial eyelashes from the false eyelash, the false eyelash being caught by friction within the projections of restraint.
[0037] The projecting members are inserted between the artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash by separating them, the user can reversibly grasp the false eyelash by simple contact between the retaining surface of the applicator and the false eyelash.
[0038] The user can then pull the false eyelash that he has just grasped towards him, or lift it vertically, using the applicator, for example to release it from an intermediate space between a support wall of the false eyelash and a wedging tab placed opposite the support wall, while having a robust and nevertheless reversible retention of the false eyelash on the applicator.
[0039] The invention also relates to a kit for applying at least one false eyelash comprising a false eyelash support comprising a base and at least one false eyelash retention element, at least one false eyelash reversibly fixed to the retention element of the support and an applicator comprising a retention surface intended to reversibly retain at least one false eyelash, the retention element and the retention surface being configured so that a retention force of the false eyelash on the support induced by the retention element is less than the retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator induced by the contact between the false eyelash and the retention surface.
[0040] The contact false eyelash retention system simplifies the movement of the false eyelash by the user who does not have to make a pressure movement with his fingers as he would have to do with an applicator having two branches forming a clamp between them. By simple contact with the retention surface, the user grasps the false eyelash and can disengage the false eyelash from the retention element, the retention force of the false eyelash on the support induced by the retention element being less than the retention force of the false eyelash on the applicator induced by the contact between the false eyelash and the retention surface. The movement is then more fluid, more relaxed and the user can easily move the false eyelash away from the support.
[0041] According to a variant, the installation kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0042] - the support retention element comprises at least one false eyelash support wall extending between the bottom of the support and an upper edge curved around a direction of elevation in projection in a plane perpendicular to the direction of elevation, and at least two tabs for fixing a false eyelash, projecting from the support wall of the false eyelash.
[0043] The fixing tabs provide the possibility of mechanically engaging the false eyelash on the retention element by holding the false eyelash against the support wall and / or by preventing the false eyelash from moving away from the support wall. This mechanical engagement is accompanied by the advantages presented above. In addition, the curved upper edge makes it possible to match the curvature of the base line of the false eyelash, and in fact prevents any deformation of the base line of the false eyelash when it is held on the retention element. support retention. Preserving the structural and geometric integrity of the false eyelash makes it easier to apply and achieve the desired result.
[0044] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0045] - each fixing tab extends opposite the support wall of the false eyelash between a first end secured to the support wall of the false eyelash and a free end angularly offset relative to the first end around the elevation direction, in projection in a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction.
[0046] The fixing tabs extending in a direction included in a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction, the false eyelash can be held by the tabs without any particular deformation other than that which would result from its own weight. Indeed, the false eyelash is held against the support wall without being pinched, in particular by the friction existing between the artificial eyelashes and the support wall under the effect of the false eyelash's own weight.
[0047] The user can then remove the false eyelash from the support and place it directly on the natural eyelashes without, in most cases, any additional operation to reshape the false eyelash.
[0048] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0049] - each leg defines between the first end and the free end at least one wedging surface of a false eyelash, extending opposite the support wall of the false eyelash, at least a free part of the wedging surface extending at rest at a distance from the support wall of the false eyelash, preferably the entire wedging surface extends at a distance from the support wall of the false eyelash between the first end and the free end, the false eyelash being held by at least one fixing tab against the support wall, under the effect of friction between the artificial eyelashes and the support wall under the effect of the own weight of the false eyelash, the or each fixing tab opposing the movement of the false eyelash in a direction normal to the support wall.
[0050] The part of the wedging surface away from the support wall creates a confinement space for the false eyelash which keeps it in place on the support without causing any particular deformation other than that which would result from its own weight.
[0051] By "pinching" is meant that the false eyelash is held between the pinning surface and the support wall, and against the support wall, but without being pinched. The false eyelash is held by friction between the artificial eyelashes and the support wall under the effect of the false eyelash's own weight. When the entire pinning surface is located away from the support wall, the surface generating the frictional hold between the artificial eyelashes and the support wall is maximum and the false eyelash is thus held in place.
[0052] In addition, the elastic memory of the false eyelash, combined with the geometry of the fixing tabs, allows it to be braced between the support wall and the fixing tabs in order to be held against the support wall.
[0053] The double curvature of the base line of the false eyelash and the artificial eyelashes also reinforces the retention of the false eyelash against the support wall.
[0054] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0055] - the support wall is concave at least opposite each fixing lug.
[0056] The concave support wall helps to hold the false eyelash on the retention element. Indeed, the concave wall matches the curved shape of the artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash when the latter is placed on the support wall. Thus, on the one hand the artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash are protected from damage by deformation, and on the other hand, the concave shape of the wall, in combination with the curved shape of the tab, prevents, by friction between the artificial eyelashes and the support wall, the slipping of the false eyelash which could be caused by gravity.
[0057] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0058] - in at least one plane perpendicular to the elevation direction, the free part of the wedging surface extends at least partly parallel to the support wall of the false eyelash, the minimum distance between the free part of the wedging surface and the support wall of the false eyelash taken along a normal to the support wall of the false eyelash being preferably greater than 0.1 mm, and in particular between 0.2 mm and 1.5 mm.
[0059] The minimum distance between the free part of the wedging surface and the support wall of the false eyelash being greater than 0.1 mm, and in particular between 0.2 mm and 1.5 mm, the false eyelash can be effectively held between the wedging surface and the wall by friction between the artificial eyelashes and the support wall under the effect of the self-weight of the false eyelash, while being protected from any damage. Indeed, this distance creates sufficient clearance so as not to pinch the false eyelash against the wall, and preferably so as not to touch the false eyelash. The clearance is still small enough to create an obstacle to the movement of the false eyelash, in particular in a direction normal to the support wall, and to ensure that it is held against the support wall.
[0060] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0061] - the retaining surface of the applicator comprises a plurality of projecting members of retainer, in particular a plurality of spikes and / or teeth, extending between an end bonded to the retaining surface and a free end opposite the bonded end and / or an adherent layer for retaining the false eyelash.
[0062] The defined retaining protruding members and / or the adhesive layer allow the gripping of the false eyelash by simple contact with it, without requiring any additional movement on the part of the user.
[0063] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0064] - the projecting retaining members have a transverse extent of less than 0.5 mm in particular between 0.1 and 0.3 mm, and / or in which all the projecting members have a height taken between the linked end and the free end which is identical, the height being advantageously between 1 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 2 mm.
[0065] Such geometric parameters of the retaining members ensure better attachment of the false eyelash to the retaining members, while facilitating their intrusion between the artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash and the natural eyelashes during deposition. In addition, the height of the retaining members is thus sufficient to correctly attach the false eyelash by contact, and is not too great so as to guarantee the safety of the user when bringing the retaining members close to his eyes.
[0066] Advantageously, when the retaining members are of constant height, the retaining surface is concave, so that the free ends of the retaining members define a concave envelope surface adapted to the curvature of the base line of the false eyelash and / or the eyelid.
[0067] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0068] - the projecting members have heights taken between the linked end and the different free end, the envelope defined by the free ends of each projecting member being a concave envelope, the height of each projecting member preferably being between 1 mm and 5 mm.
[0069] The retaining members may have a different height, in particular in the case where the retaining surface is flat, in order to form a surface defined by the free end of the slightly curved members. This curved surface is advantageously adapted to accompany the curvature of the user's eyelid and allows comfortable deposition of the false eyelash for the user. In addition, this curvature limits the deformation of the false eyelash when it is grasped by the applicator.
[0070] According to a variant, the kit according to the invention comprises the following characteristic:
[0071] - the retaining surface has a density of projecting retaining members of between 50 retaining protruding members / cm2 and 100 retaining protruding members / cm2, preferably greater than 70 retaining protruding members / cm2, and optionally comprises at least one area free of retaining protruding members.
[0072] The presence of a sufficient number of retaining members makes the seizure of the effective false eyelash, each retaining member thus hooking between two artificial eyelashes of the false eyelash. With such a density of protruding members, the retaining surface can be small enough to provide the necessary precision when applying the false eyelash. Furthermore, the area without protruding members advantageously located at the periphery of the retaining surface is useful for the user who wishes to reposition the false eyelash once placed on the natural eyelashes. This smooth area does not catch the false eyelash, but allows it to be slightly translated in order to adjust the position on the natural eyelashes. A precise finish can thus be provided.
[0073] The invention will appear more clearly on reading the description which follows, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the drawings in which:

[0092] [Fig.20] [Fig.20] is a schematic representation of a mechanical test carried out in order to measure the retention force of the false eyelash of [Fig.l], on the skin of a user.
[0093] A kit, or set, for false eyelashes comprises at least one false eyelash 1, a support 3 for false eyelashes, shown in Figures 3 to 6, and an applicator 5, shown in Figures 7 and 8. It optionally comprises a box for cleaning and drying the false eyelash 1, which will be described below.
[0094] A method of transferring at least one false eyelash 1 onto an applicator 5 from a support 3 is the subject of the present application.
[0095] With reference to Figures 1 and 2, the false eyelash 1 comprises a base line 10 to which a plurality of artificial eyelashes 11 are attached. The artificial eyelashes 11 and advantageously the base line 10 are formed from artificial fibers.
[0096] By "artificial" is meant in particular that the eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 and / or the fibers constituting them are not formed from natural eyelashes growing spontaneously on a human being, in particular on the human being on which the false eyelash 1 is placed.
[0097] The false eyelash 1 may be a full fringe, as shown in [Fig.l]. The baseline 10 and the artificial eyelashes 11 are then configured (in size and / or number of artificial eyelashes 11 provided) to completely cover, from one end of the natural eyelash baseline to the other, the natural eyelashes of a user.
[0098] In this first case, the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 has for example a length, taken along the base line 10 following its curvature, from one end to the other of the base line 10, of between 15 mm and 35 mm.
[0099] Furthermore, in the case of a full fringe, the false eyelash 1 has, for example, a mass of between 0.01 g and 0.09 g.
[0100] Alternatively, the false eyelash 1 may be a cluster of a few artificial eyelashes 11 linked to the baseline 10, as shown in [Fig.2]. Such a false eyelash 1 is then called "cluster" and is generally used alone or in combination with other cluster-type false eyelashes 1 to adorn some, or all, of the user's natural eyelashes.
[0101] In this second case, the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 has for example a length, taken along the base line 10 following its curvature, from one end to the other of the base line 10, of between 0.3 cm and 1 cm.
[0102] Furthermore, in the case of a “cluster”, the false eyelash 1 has, for example, a mass of between 0.001 g and 0.008 g.
[0103] The base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 is generally curved in a C shape so as to reproduce the curvature of the base line of natural eyelashes.
[0104] Similarly, the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 are generally curved so as to reproduce the curvature of the natural eyelashes. The curvature of the artificial eyelashes is substantially located in a plane perpendicular to the tangent to the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1, taken at the point of connection of an artificial eyelash 11 on the base line 10.
[0105] The false eyelash 1 has a density of artificial eyelashes 11 for example between 20 artificial eyelashes 11 per centimeter of baseline 10 and 200 artificial eyelashes 11 per centimeter of baseline 10, preferably between 80 artificial eyelashes 11 per centimeter of baseline 10 and 150 artificial eyelashes 11 per centimeter of baseline 10.
[0106] The artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 have a cross-section, for example circular, with a transverse extent, for example, of between 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm.
[0107] The artificial eyelashes 11 are for example made of polymer, in particular polybutylene terephthalate and / or polyamide.
[0108] The base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 and / or the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 are capable of being covered with a cosmetic product having adhesive and / or aesthetic properties.
[0109] By “adhesive properties” it is understood that the cosmetic product promotes adhesion between the false eyelash 1 and the user's natural eyelashes.
[0110] By “aesthetic” it is understood that the cosmetic product can be used to pigment the false eyelash 1, to give them more volume and / or to give them more length.
[0111] The cosmetic product is for example a makeup product.
[0112] More generally, a cosmetic product is a product as defined in Regulation EC No. 1223 / 2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, dated November 30, 2009, relating to cosmetic products.
[0113] The holder 3 for false eyelashes is illustrated in Figures 3 to 6. The holder 3 comprises an outer housing 30 comprising an upper rim 30A and at least one side wall 30B, the upper rim 30A extending from the side wall 30B. The outer housing 30 defines an interior volume and is configured to receive an inner housing 31 in its interior volume.
[0114] The outer casing 30 has a lateral access opening 32 to the interior volume of the outer casing 30. The inner casing 31 is movable in translation relative to the outer casing 30 through the access opening 32 between a position inserted into the interior volume of the outer casing 30, shown in Figures 3 and 5, and a position extracted from the interior volume of the outer casing 30, shown in Figures 4 and 6. The translation of the inner casing 31 relative to the outer casing 30 is carried out in a direction of movement of the inner casing 31 towards the outside of the outer casing 30.
[0115] The upper edge 30A of the external housing 30 defines a central window that is advantageously partially or totally transparent. By “transparent”, it is understood that the interior of the external housing 30 is visible to the naked eye by a user located outside the external housing 30.
[0116] In the example shown in Figures 3 to 6, the external housing 30 is polygonal in shape, and more precisely hexagonal in shape. Thus, the side wall 30B of the external housing 30 has six side faces forming a hexagonal prism.
[0117] The internal housing 31 comprises a bottom 31A and at least one side wall 31B projecting vertically relative to the bottom 31A.
[0118] The bottom 31A of the internal housing 31 has a peripheral contour of polygonal shape, having more than five sides. In the example shown in Figures 3 to 6, the bottom 31A is of hexagonal shape, to correspond to the shape of the internal volume of the external housing 30.
[0119] The internal housing 31 also comprises a gripping element 33 intended to be grasped by a user to move the internal housing 31 in translation between the inserted position and the extracted position from the internal volume of the external housing 30.
[0120] The gripping element 33 may be a tab, a handle, a grip, or any other element serving as an interface with a user.
[0121] The gripping element 33 projects outwardly from the outer housing 30, in the direction of movement of the inner housing 31, as seen in [Fig.6].
[0122] The internal housing 31 comprises at least one retaining element 34 for at least one false eyelash 1 projecting from the bottom 31A in a central elevation direction Z shown in [Fig. 3]. The central elevation direction Z is here perpendicular to the direction of movement of the internal housing 31.
[0123] The internal housing 31 also comprises at least one rib 35 projecting relative to the bottom 31A. The rib 35 extends here in the direction of movement of the internal housing 31 and connects the retention element 34 to at least one side wall 31B of the housing 31.
[0124] In the example of [Fig.6], the rib 35 also connects the element of retention 34 to gripping element 33.
[0125] In the example shown in Figures 3 to 6, the retention element 34 has a generally frustoconical shape of revolution around the central elevation direction Z from the bottom 31A of the internal housing 31 to an upper edge 36. The upper edge 36 is curved around the central elevation direction Z in projection in a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z. The curved upper edge 36 then has, in projection in a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z, a closed contour in the shape of a circle or ellipse.
[0126] The retention element 34 comprises at least one support wall 37 for the false eyelash 1 extending between the bottom 31A and the curved upper edge 36. The retention element 34 comprises at least two fixing tabs 38 for a false eyelash 1, projecting from the support wall 37.
[0127] The support wall 37 advantageously has a curved shape.
[0128] In particular, the support wall 37 has a shape that is concave towards the outside at least opposite each fixing lug 38. In other words, the frustoconical shape of the retention element 34 is defined by rotation around the central elevation direction Z of a curved generatrix that is concave towards the outside.
[0129] In the example of [Fig.4], the support wall 37 has two opposite storage regions located on either side of the rib 35.
[0130] Each storage region is provided at its ends along the rib 35 with two fixing lugs 38, directed towards each other.
[0131] In the example of [Fig.5], other fixing lugs 38, for example two additional fixing lugs 38, are arranged in each storage region, between the lugs 38 located at the ends.
[0132] Each fixing lug 38 extends opposite the support wall 37 between a first end 38A secured to the support wall 37 and a free end 38B angularly offset relative to the first end 38A around the elevation direction Z. The free end 38B here has a tapered shape.
[0133] Each fixing lug 38 extends in a curved manner around the elevation direction Z, projecting into a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z.
[0134] Each tab 38 defines between the first end 38A and the free end 38B at least one wedging surface 39 of a false eyelash 1, extending opposite the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1.
[0135] By "pinching" is meant that the false eyelash 1 is held between the pinning surface 39 and the support wall 37, and against the support wall 37, being blocked, but without being pinched. The false eyelash 1 is held by the friction between the artificial eyelashes 11 and the support wall 37 under the effect of the self-weight of the false eyelash 1 which tends to press the false eyelash 1 by gravity against the support wall 37.
[0136] The gravity bearing of the false eyelash 1 against the bearing wall 37 is sufficient for the false eyelash 1 to rest on the bearing wall 37, but the false eyelash 1 is sufficiently light to be held against the bearing wall 37 without needing to be clamped against the bearing wall 37.
[0137] The friction is notably reinforced by the respective curvatures of the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1, of the artificial eyelashes 11 and of the support wall 37.
[0138] The outwardly directed concave shape of the support wall 37 provides significant support and increases the friction surface between the artificial eyelashes 11 and the support wall 37. However, it does not provide an obstacle to the false eyelash 1 sliding outwards by a “slide” effect.
[0139] To counter this effect, each tab 38 facing the support wall 37 holds the false eyelash 1 against the support wall 37 in order to prevent the false eyelash 1 from moving away from the support wall 37. Thus, the holding of each false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34 is ensured by its wedging without pinching between the support wall 37 concave towards the outside and at least one tab 38 facing it.
[0140] The false eyelash 1 thus retains a natural shape and its deformation is minimal, since it simply abuts between the outwardly concave support wall 37 and at least one facing tab 38.
[0141] Furthermore, the elastic memory of the false eyelash 1, combined with the geometry of the fixing tabs 38, allows it to be braced between the support wall 37 and the fixing tabs 38 in order to be held against the support wall 37.
[0142] At least one free part of the wedging surface 39 extends at rest at a distance from the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1. In the example shown in FIGS. 3 to 6, the entire wedging surface 39 of each tab 38 extends at a distance from the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 between the first end 38A and the free end 38B.
[0143] In at least one plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z, the free part of the wedging surface 39 extends at least partly parallel to the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1. The minimum distance between the free part of the wedging surface 39 and the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 taken along a normal to the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 is preferably greater than 0.1 mm, and in particular between 0.2 mm and 1.5 mm.
[0144] This distance advantageously creates a clearance between the fixing tab 38 and the support wall 37, in which the false eyelash 1 is placed and held, resting on the support wall 37 by means of the base line 10 and / or the artificial eyelashes 11, without compression or tightening of the false eyelash 1.
[0145] In this same plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z, the free part of the wedging surface 39 comprises, from the first end 38A to the free end 38B, a first section 39A extending parallel to the wall support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 and a second section 39B extending the first section 39A, the second section 39B moving away from the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 of the retention element 34.
[0146] In the example shown in Figures 3 to 6, the first section 39A, in projection in a plane perpendicular to a normal to the support wall 37 opposite the first section 39A, has a contour in the shape of a parallelogram, and more precisely in the shape of a rectangle. The second section 39B, in projection in a plane perpendicular to a normal to the support wall 37 opposite the second section 39B, has a trapezoid shape converging from the first section 39A to the free end 38B.
[0147] Advantageously, the second section 39B comprises a chamfer at the free end 38B. The chamfers guide the false eyelash 1 during its introduction between the fixing tab 38 and the support wall 37.
[0148] In the example of [Fig.4], the length of each leg 38 taken along the wall 37 is less than half the length of the storage region taken along the wall 37 between two adjacent legs 38, in particular less than 25% of the length of the storage region, taken along the wall 37 between two adjacent legs 38.
[0149] When removing the false eyelash 1 from the support 3 using the applicator 5, the false eyelash 1, not being pinched between the wedging surface 39 and the support wall 37, slides between the tabs 38 without deforming them, under the effect of a tensile force exerted on the false eyelash 1 by the applicator 5 in a direction normal to the support wall 37.
[0150] Alternatively, and as will be described in more detail later, when removing the false eyelash 1 from the support 3 using the applicator 5, the false eyelash 1 slides between the tabs 38 without deforming them, under the effect of a tensile force exerted on the false eyelash 1 by the applicator 5 according to a combined movement relative to the support 3, comprising a component extending in the elevation direction Z.
[0151] The convergent shape of the second section 39B simplifies the removal of the false eyelash 1 from the support 3 according to one of the methods described below, by minimizing the risk of irreversible deformation of the false eyelash 1.
[0152] Advantageously, the fixing lugs 38 are spaced apart from each other, in a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z, by a distance such that a user can pass a finger between two fixing lugs 38, for example to facilitate the insertion of the false eyelash 1 between the fixing lugs 38 and the support wall 37 of the support 3.
[0153] As a further variant, each tab 38 is elastically deformable between a fixing position in which the first section 39A extends at a first distance from the support wall 37 and a disengagement position in which the first section 39A extends at a second distance from the support wall 37, the second distance being greater than the first distance.
[0154] In another variant, not shown, the support 3 also comprises at least one relief, in particular in the shape of a grain of rice, projecting from one of the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 or of the fixing tab 38 towards the other of the support wall 37 of the false eyelash 1 or of the fixing tab 38.
[0155] The support 3 thus designed makes it possible to hold the false eyelash 1 in a robust but reversible manner. The false eyelash 1 removed from the support 3 is not deformed and is directly ready to be placed on natural eyelashes.
[0156] Indeed, the fixing tabs 38 extending in a direction included in a plane perpendicular to the elevation direction Z, the false eyelash 1 is held by the tabs 38 without any particular deformation other than that which would result from its own weight.
[0157] The user can thus remove the false eyelash 1 from the support 3 and place it directly on his eyelashes without, in most cases, any additional operation of reshaping the false eyelash 1.
[0158] The wedging of the false eyelash 1 is effective since the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 rest on the support wall 37 which has a concavity in section in a plurality of vertical axial planes passing through the central elevation direction Z. Thus the shape of the eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 is preserved. In addition, the false eyelash 1 as a whole matches the curved shape of the support wall 37 in a plurality of planes perpendicular to the central elevation direction Z.
[0159] Furthermore, the legs 38 follow this curvature in the perpendicular planes at least along the first section 39B, creating an obstacle to the movement of the false eyelash 1, in particular in a direction normal to the support wall 37, and ensuring that it is held against the support wall 37.
[0160] The applicator 5 for false eyelashes is shown in Figures 7 and 8.
[0161] The applicator 5 comprises a body 50 elongated in a longitudinal direction L shown in [Fig.7]. The body 50 comprises an elongated central section 50A, a false eyelash 1 gripping section 50B extending from the central section 50A in a first direction in the longitudinal direction L, and a clamp-shaped section 50C extending from the central section 50A in the longitudinal direction L, in a second direction longitudinally opposite the gripping section 50B.
[0162] The sections 50B, 50C are connected to the central section 50A which they extend respectively on either side of the central section 50A.
[0163] The gripping section 50B comprises a surface 51 for retaining false eyelashes 1 by contact provided with a reversible system for retaining the false eyelashes 1 by contact.
[0164] The retaining surface 51 generally extends in a transverse direction T, substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L. In at least one plane perpendicular to the transverse direction T, the section of the retaining surface 51 is inclined relative to the longitudinal direction L and relative to the transverse direction T.
[0165] The inclination of the section of the retaining surface 51 in projection in the plane perpendicular to the transverse direction T, relative to the longitudinal direction is for example between 10° and 80°, in particular between 30° and 50°.
[0166] The retaining surface 51 has a concave curved shape.
[0167] In the example shown in Figures 7 and 8, the contact retention system comprises a plurality of projecting retention members 52, in particular a plurality of pins. The projecting retention members 2 are not limited to pins as shown but could also comprise teeth and / or any other projecting element having capacities for retaining a false eyelash 1 (hooks for example).
[0168] The retaining surface 51 has a density of protruding members 52 of between 50 protruding members / cm2 and 100 protruding members / cm2, preferably greater than 70 protruding members / cm2.
[0169] The retaining surface 51 also comprises at its periphery at least one zone 53 devoid of projecting retaining members 52.
[0170] In the example of [Fig.7], the retaining surface 51 comprises two zones 53 devoid of projecting retaining members 52 each extending along two opposite transverse edges of the retaining surface 51.
[0171] The length of the area of the retaining surface 51 provided with projecting retaining members 52, taken transversely along the retaining surface 51 following its curvature, is greater than 30%, in particular between 30% and 100% of the length of the base line 10, as defined above. This allows robust attachment by simple contact.
[0172] The projecting members 52 each extend between an end 52A connected to the retaining surface 51 and a free end 52B opposite the connected end 52A.
[0173] The projecting retaining members 52 have a transverse extent, taken in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction of elongation of the members 52, less than 0.5 mm, in particular between 0.1 mm and 0.3 mm, and preferably equal to 0.2 mm.
[0174] Each projecting member 52 is for example spaced from a neighboring projecting member 52 by a distance, taken in a plane perpendicular to the direction of elongation of the members 52, of between 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm.
[0175] The projecting members 52 are suitable for engaging between the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1, in particular when the artificial eyelashes 11 have a transverse extent of between 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm.
[0176] The projecting retaining members 52 are for example made of polymer, especially polyolefin, especially polypropylene.
[0177] The dimensions of the projecting retaining members 52, and in particular their transverse extent, allow the projecting members 52 to be flexible, and in particular to be elastically deformable in bending.
[0178] In the example of [Fig.7], all the projecting members 52 have an identical height taken along the longitudinal direction L, the height being between 1 mm and 5 mm, preferably between 1 mm and 2 mm.
[0179] The envelope surface defined by the free ends 52B of the projecting members 52 thus follows the profile, in particular concave, of the retaining surface 51.
[0180] The projecting members 52 may be parallelepipedal in shape, conical or truncated in shape, or even cylindrical in shape.
[0181] The clamp-shaped section 50C comprises a first branch 54 optionally provided with a first end pad 55, and a second branch 56 optionally provided with a second end pad 57.
[0182] The first and second branches 54, 56 are joined at the central section 50A.
[0183] The first and second branches 54, 56 are elongated in the longitudinal direction L.
[0184] The first branch 54 and the second branch 56 extend here substantially in a plane B (visible in [Fig.7]), inclined or orthogonal to the transverse direction T. They are movable relative to each other along a pinching direction P shown in [Fig.7], between a rest configuration in which the second pad 57 is arranged away from the first pad 55 and a pinching configuration in which the second pad 57 is brought closer to the first pad 55.
[0185] The pinch direction P forms with the transverse direction T, in projection in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction L, an angle of between 30° and 90°.
[0186] The pads 55, 57 have a curved contour 58, for example in the shape of a banana, projecting into a median plane passing between the first branch 54 and the second branch 56 of the clamp.
[0187] The body 50 of the applicator 5 is made in a single piece, the first pad 55 and the second pad 57 being attached respectively to the first branch 54 and to the second branch 56 by means of fixing elements 59, shown in [Fig.8].
[0188] The fixing elements 59 are here pins provided with a radial widening ensuring retention by blocking in corresponding orifices, provided on the branches 54, 56.
[0189] The body 50 of the applicator 5 is for example made of polymer, in particular polyolefin, in particular polypropylene. The pads 55 and 57 are for example made of thermoplastic elastomers.
[0190] As a variant, the body 50 is for example made of a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, for example a copolymer composed of polybutylene terephthalate terephthalate and a polyether, such as the Hytrel® elastomer for example.
[0191] The pads 55 and 57 are for example made of nitrile and / or silicone, or of a mixture of nitrile and silicone.
[0192] Advantageously, and in particular when the adhesive intended to be applied to the false eyelash 1 is an adhesive mascara, the pads 55, 57 are made of a material different from the body 50 of the applicator. For example, the pads 55, 57 are made of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
[0193] When the adhesive intended to be applied to the false eyelash 1 is a glue, the pads 55, 57 are for example made in one piece with the body 50 of the applicator 5.
[0194] As a variant, not shown, the applicator 5 does not comprise pads 55, 57 but pinching portions made in one piece with the body 50 of the applicator 5.
[0195] In this variant, the branches 54, 56 are movable relative to each other along the pinching direction P, between a rest configuration in which the pinching portion of the first branch 54 is arranged away from the pinching portion of the second branch 56 and a pinching configuration in which the pinching portion of the first branch 54 is brought closer to the pinching portion of the second branch 56.
[0196] When applying the false eyelash 1 using such an applicator 5, and as will be described in more detail later, the user first places the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5 on the false eyelash 1 in order to grip it by reversible contact retention.
[0197] The projecting members 52 are inserted between the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 by separating them, so that the artificial eyelashes 11 are attached by friction within these projecting members 52, as visible in [Fig. 11].
[0198] The user then places the false eyelash 1 on natural eyelashes while holding the applicator 5 above the eyes of the person on whom the false eyelash 1 is placed. Preferably the user seeks to place the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes by aligning the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 with a base line of the natural eyelashes.
[0199] After this depositing step, the user turns the applicator 5 over and pinches the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes using the pads 55, 57, moving from the rest configuration of the first branch 54 and the second branch 56 to the pinching configuration. This step of pinching the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes fuses the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes, and guarantees a result that is on the one hand more durable over time, and on the other hand more aesthetic.
[0200] In a variant, not shown, the retaining surface 51 is flat.
[0201] Still in a variant not shown, the retaining surface 51 is flat and the projecting members 52 have different heights, taken along the longitudinal direction L, the envelope defined by the free ends 52B of the projecting members 52 being a concave envelope. In this variant, the height of each projecting member 52 is between 1 mm and 5 mm.
[0202] In another variant, the retaining surface 51 of the applicator is an adherent layer for retaining the false eyelash 1.
[0203] The applicator 5 thus designed allows the user to place the false eyelash 1 on natural eyelashes in a simplified and precise manner.
[0204] The contact retention system 51 of the false eyelash 1 simplifies application for the user who does not have to apply and maintain pressure with his fingers as with an applicator having two branches forming a clamp between them.
[0205] By simple contact, the user grasps the false eyelash 1 and moves it to the natural eyelashes. The movement is then more fluid, more relaxed than when the user must maintain an effort on a false eyelash grasping clip 1 to keep it in the pinching position and the user can apply the false eyelash 1 to the natural eyelashes without muscular tension, which increases the precision of the positioning.
[0206] Figures 9 and 10 illustrate a method of transferring a false eyelash 1 from a support 3 to an applicator 5.
[0207] In the example of figures 9 and 10, the false eyelash 1, the support 3 and the applicator 5 are advantageously as described above.
[0208] The user initially has the support 3 which comprises at least one retention element 34 on which at least one false eyelash 1 is held, and the applicator 5 which defines a retention surface 51.
[0209] Holding the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34 of the support 3 defines a retention force for the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34.
[0210] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34 of the support 3 results from a mechanical engagement of the false eyelash 1 in the retention element 34, without adhesion of the false eyelash 1 to the retention element 34 of the support 3.
[0211] This force, measured according to a normal to the support wall 37 of the retention element 34, is for example greater than 0.06 N and is in particular between 0.01 N and 0.1 N.
[0212] With reference to [Fig. 18], this force is for example measured in a climatic chamber (not shown) using a dynamometer 84.
[0213] The dynamometer 84 preferably operates with an accuracy of ±0.2% of the displacement speed value, and advantageously meets the following technical characteristics: accuracy of ±0.5% of the minimum full scale, minimum sampling frequency of 1000Hz.
[0214] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the support 3 is measured using such a dynamometer 84. An applicator 5 as described above, connected to the dynamometer 84, gradually moves the false eyelash 1 (preferably at a speed of 165 mm / min), away from a retention element 34 identical to that of the support 3, until the false eyelash 1 is separated from the retention element 34.
[0215] The procedure implemented in order to measure the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34 comprises the following steps: - thermostat the items to be tested (retention element 34, false eyelash 1 and applicator 5) at 23°C for at least 3 hours, - assemble the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34, - holding the sample comprising the false eyelash 1 assembled on the retention element 34 assembled on the base 86 of the dynamometer 84 with the elevation axis Z horizontal, - hook the applicator 5 onto the head of the dynamometer 84, positioned vertically above the base 86 and move the head of the dynamometer 84 to bring the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5 into contact with the false eyelashes 1 while maintaining the longitudinal direction L of the applicator 5 vertical, - set the travel speed to 165 ± 10 mm per minute, - start the dynamometer 84 to move the applicator 5 vertically upwards away from the retention element 34, and - read and / or record the force measured by the dynamometer 84 when the false eyelash 1 separates from the retention element 34, this force corresponding to the measured effort.
[0216] The holding of the sample to be tested (false eyelash 1 assembled on the retention element 34) on the base 86 of the dynamometer 84 is for example carried out using a lower clamping jaw 88, as shown in [Fig. 18].
[0217] The applicator 5 is held on the head of the dynamometer 84, for example, with an upper clamping jaw 90.
[0218] As visible in [Fig.9], the user reversibly grasps the false eyelash 1 with the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5.
[0219] The reversible gripping is carried out by simple contact between the retaining surface 51 and the false eyelash 1.
[0220] This grip defines a retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 induced by the contact between the false eyelash 1 and the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5.
[0221] This force, measured according to a normal to the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5, is for example greater than 0.2 N and is in particular between 0.1 N and 0.4 N.
[0222] This effort is for example measured in a climatic chamber using the equipment and operating method described above.
[0223] Only variations in the operating mode will be described below, with reference to [Fig. 19],
[0224] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 is measured using the dynamometer 84, the false eyelash 1 being progressively moved away at a speed of 165 mm / min from the applicator 5 until the applicator 5 and the false eyelash 1 separate.
[0225] To do this, the applicator 5 is immobilized vertically in the lower clamping jaw 88 with its retention surface 51 facing upwards. The false eyelash 1 is arranged assembled on the retention surface 51.
[0226] A double-sided adhesive tape 94 is applied to the baseline 10 of the false eyelash 1 and is vertically connected to the upper clamping jaw 90 of the dynamometer 84 via a hook 92, as shown in [Fig.19].
[0227] The measured force corresponds to the force measured by the dynamometer 84 when the false eyelash 1 separates from the applicator 5.
[0228] The retention element 34 and the retention surface 51 are configured so that the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the support 3 induced by the retention element 34 is less than the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 induced by the contact between the false eyelash 1 and the retention surface 51.
[0229] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the support 3 is advantageously less than or equal to 75% of the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5.
[0230] Different methods of removing the false eyelash 1 from the support 3 by the applicator 5 will now be described in detail.
[0231] In a first mode, with reference to [Fig.9], the user approaches the applicator 5 in the direction of the false eyelash 1 by making the longitudinal direction L of the applicator 5 substantially coincide with a normal to the support wall 37 until the projecting members 52 penetrate into the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1.
[0232] The false eyelash 1 held by the penetration of the projecting members 52 within the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 is shown in [Fig. 11].
[0233] When removing the applicator 5 carrying the false eyelash 1 away from the support 3, as shown in [Fig. 10], the user moves the applicator 5 away from the support 3 by making the longitudinal direction L of the applicator 5 substantially coincide with a normal to the support wall 37. The false eyelash 1 then slides between the support wall 37 and the legs 38 in a circumferential direction to the elevation direction Z. It thus leaves the intermediate space defined between each leg 38 and the opposite support wall 37.
[0234] Alternatively, the user brings the applicator 5 towards the false eyelash 1 by making the longitudinal direction L of the applicator 5 substantially coincide with a normal to the support wall 37 until the projecting members penetrate into the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1, then applies to the applicator 5 a combined movement relative to the support 3, comprising a component extending in the elevation direction Z. In doing so, the projecting members 52 of the applicator 5 come into contact with the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 and take the false eyelash 1 into this movement. to separate them from the support 3. The false eyelash 1 then slides between the support surface 37 and the legs 38 in the elevation direction Z. It is lifted out of the intermediate space defined between each leg 38 and the opposite support wall 37.
[0235] In another variant, the user separates the false eyelash 1 from the support 3 using a combination of these movements of extracting the false eyelash 1 away from the support 3 by means of the applicator 5.
[0236] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34 of the support 3 being less than the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5, the movement of the applicator 5 away from the support 3 disengages the false eyelash 1 from the retention element 34 of the support 3 by simple contact between the retention surface 51 of the applicator 5 and the false eyelash 1.
[0237] The movement of the applicator 5 away from the support 3 is carried out by simply moving the retaining surface 51 away from the retention element 34 of the false eyelash 1, without grasping or pulling the false eyelash 1 by the fingers of the user or an operator, or by a tool for retaining the false eyelash 1.
[0238] In this way, a simple engagement by contact between the retaining surface 51 and the false eyelash 1, as visible in [Fig. 11], ensures a mechanical retention of the false eyelash 1 on the retaining surface 51 which is more robust than the mechanical retention of the false eyelash 1 in the retention element 34. The false eyelash 1 can thus be released from the retention support 34 by simple manipulation of the applicator 5, without risk of it detaching from the retaining surface 51.
[0239] As visible in Figures 9 and 10, the movement of the applicator 5 away from the support 3 is carried out by the user by a movement in a direction normal to the support wall 37 of the retention element 34 of the support 3, or alternatively with a component in the elevation direction Z, or even, in a combined movement in a normal to the support wall 37 and in the elevation direction Z. The user, by grasping the false eyelash 1 by contact with the retention surface 51 and by moving the applicator 5 in a movement as described above, easily disengages the false eyelash 1 from the retention element 34 without damaging the false eyelash 1. The movement of the applicator 5 away from the support 3 is followed by a step of depositing the false eyelash 1 on the user's natural eyelashes, as will be described later.
[0240] The method of transferring a false eyelash 1 onto an applicator 5 from a support 3 as described makes it easier for the user to transfer the false eyelash 1, without damaging the false eyelash 1 when the user removes them from the support 3.
[0241] By simple contact with the retaining surface 51, the user grasps the false eyelash 1 and separates it from the retaining element 34. The gesture is simplified, fluid and comfortable for the user who can grasp the false eyelash 1 without having to keep his fingers tense. as it should with a tweezer-like applicator.
[0242] In addition, the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 induced with the contact with the retaining surface 51 being greater than the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the retention element 34 of the support 3, the user does not need to retain the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 when he removes the applicator 5, and thus he does not apply pressure on a part of the false eyelash 1, which could deform the artificial eyelashes 11 and / or the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1.
[0243] Figures 12 and 13 illustrate a method of transferring a false eyelash 1 from an applicator 5 to a user's natural eyelashes.
[0244] In the example of figures 12 and 13, the false eyelash 1 and the applicator 5 are advantageously as described above.
[0245] The user initially has an adhesive product, at least one false eyelash 1, and an applicator 5 which comprises a retaining surface 51.
[0246] During a preliminary step, not shown, the user deposits the adhesive product on the base line of the natural eyelashes and / or on the natural eyelashes and / or on the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 and / or on the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1.
[0247] Alternatively, the user initially has a pre-glued false eyelash 1, i.e. provided with an adhesive product already present on the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1.
[0248] The user then reversibly grasps the false eyelash 1 with the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5. As described above, the contact between the false eyelash 1 and the retaining surface 51 defines a retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 induced by the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5, and the reversible grasping of the false eyelash 1 is carried out by simple contact between the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5 and the false eyelash 1.
[0249] The user then transfers, as shown in [Fig. 12], the false eyelash 1 from the applicator 5 to the natural eyelashes so as to deposit the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 on a base line of the natural eyelashes and / or on the natural eyelashes.
[0250] Once the false eyelash 1 has been deposited, the user removes the applicator 5 by moving it away from the user's eyes. The removal of the applicator 5 causes the false eyelash 1 to separate from the retaining surface 51.
[0251] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 is less than the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes induced by the adhesive product.
[0252] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes or on the skin of the eyelid, induced by the adhesive product, measured in a direction normal to the natural eyelashes, is for example greater than 0.5 N and is in particular between 0.4 N and 1 N.
[0253] The adhesive product used to stick the false eyelash 1 to the natural eyelashes or to the skin of the eyelid is for example an acrylate-based glue, in particular ethylhexyl acrylate copolymer, for example the glue marketed by the company ARDELL under the reference DUO ® or DUO GREEN ®.
[0254] Alternatively, the adhesive product used to stick the false eyelash 1 to the natural eyelashes or to the skin of the eyelid is, for example, a glue as described in document WO2019003453A1, or in document WO2019003454A1, or the DAITOSOL 5500 ® glue described in patent application WO2015 / 154804.
[0255] This effort is for example measured in a climatic chamber using the equipment and operating method described previously.
[0256] Only variations in the operating mode will be described below, with reference to [Fig.20].
[0257] The false eyelash 1 is previously glued to a region of the skin 96 of a user (represented schematically by a square in [Fig.20]) using an adhesive product as described above.
[0258] The adhesive product is for example applied to the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 and the base line 10 provided with the adhesive product is applied to a region of the skin 96.
[0259] The skin region 96 may for example be taken on the top of a user's hand.
[0260] The skin region 96 is placed on the base 86, under the head of the dynamometer 84.
[0261] The retention effort of the false eyelash 1 on the skin 96 of the user induced by the product adhesive is measured using the dynamometer 84, the false eyelash 1 being progressively moved away at a speed of 165 mm / min from the skin 96 of the user, as visible in [Fig.20], until the false eyelash 1 separates from the skin 96.
[0262] To do this, a double-sided adhesive tape 94 is applied to the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1, for example between the skin region 96 and the artificial eyelashes 11 and is connected vertically to the upper clamping jaw 90 of the dynamometer 84 by means of a hook 92, as shown in [Fig.20].
[0263] The measured force corresponds to the force measured by the dynamometer 84 when the false eyelash 1, in particular the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1, separates from the skin 96.
[0264] The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes is advantageously greater than or equal to 125%, preferably between 150% and 250% of the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5.
[0265] Removing the applicator 5 then leaves the false eyelash 1 in place on the natural eyelashes, by simple contact between the false eyelash 1, the adhesive product and the natural eyelashes and / or the base line of the natural eyelashes.
[0266] The applicator 5 is removed by simply moving the retaining surface 51 away from the false eyelash 1, without grasping or pulling the false eyelash 1 by the fingers of the user or an operator, or by a tool for retaining the false eyelash 1.
[0267] Advantageously, the transfer and deposition of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes are done over the eyes of the person receiving the false eyelash 1. In other words, the hand of the user is located above the eyes of the person receiving the false eyelash 1, as illustrated in [Fig. 12], throughout the transfer and deposition. Thus, the visual field of the person receiving the false eyelash 1 is not obstructed during the deposition of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes and the user benefits on the one hand from better precision during deposition, and on the other hand, from more comfortable gestures, in particular in the case where the user is the person receiving the false eyelash 1.
[0268] As visible in [Fig. 13], the withdrawal of the applicator 5 is followed by a step of pinching the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes, using a pinching region 55, 57 of the applicator 5.
[0269] The step of reversibly gripping the false eyelash 1 with the retaining surface 51 of the applicator 5 is carried out with the gripping section 50B of the applicator 5, and the step of pinching the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes using the pinching region 55, 57 of the applicator 5 is carried out with the clamp-shaped section 50C of the applicator 5, opposite the gripping section in the elongation direction L of the applicator 5.
[0270] In order to carry out the step of pinching the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes, the user turns the applicator 5 over to switch from the gripping configuration with the gripping section 50B to the pinching configuration with the clamp-shaped section 50C.
[0271] The step of pinching the false eyelash 1 with the natural eyelashes, illustrated in [Fig. 13], is carried out quickly after the deposition of the false eyelash 1 thanks to the structure of the applicator 5 comprising sections 50B, 50C, having different functionalities.
[0272] The method of applying the false eyelash 1 as described is simple and allows precise application of the false eyelash 1 for the user.
[0273] By simple contact with the retaining surface 51, the user grasps the false eyelash 1 and moves it to the natural eyelashes. The retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the applicator 5 being less than the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes induced by the adhesive product, the user does not need to use his fingers, or any tool, in order to retain the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes when he removes the applicator 5.
[0274] The movement is then more fluid, more relaxed and the user can apply the false eyelash 1 to the natural eyelashes without muscular tension, which increases comfort and precision of positioning.
[0275] Furthermore, once the false eyelash 1 is correctly positioned on the natural eyelashes with the applicator 5, the retention force of the false eyelash 1 on the natural eyelashes induced by the adhesive product ensures the immobility of the false eyelash 1 when the applicator 5 is removed.
[0276] As indicated above, the false eyelash kit 1 according to the invention also comprises a cleaning and drying box 70 for false eyelashes 1, shown in Figures 14 to 17.
[0277] The box 70 comprises a sealed compartment 71 for cleaning at least one false eyelash 1, as well as a permeable compartment 72 for drying the at least one false eyelash 1.
[0278] The box 70 also comprises a protective cover 73 intended to reversibly close the permeable compartment 72.
[0279] The attachment of the protective cover 73 to the permeable compartment 72 is for example carried out by snap-fastening, screwing, or even, as shown in the embodiment of FIGS. 14 to 17, by placing the cover 73 on the permeable compartment 72 with a tightening that can be releasably held by hand, in order to keep the cover 73 attached to the permeable compartment 72.
[0280] For this purpose, the permeable compartment 72 may comprise a complementary fixing system, not shown, capable of cooperating with the protective cover 73 in order to reversibly close the permeable compartment 72.
[0281] Furthermore, the box 70 comprises a transfer basket 74 capable of receiving at least one false eyelash 1. The transfer basket 74 is configured so as to be inserted successively into the sealed compartment 71 for cleaning the false eyelash 1, as shown in Figures 14 and 15, and into the permeable compartment 72 for drying the false eyelash 1, as shown in Figures 16 and 17.
[0282] The sealed compartment 71 for cleaning at least one false eyelash 1 comprises a bottom 71A and at least one side wall 71B.
[0283] The sealed compartment 71 is made at least in part of a material that is at least partially transparent, preferably completely transparent. By “transparent” it is understood that an observer located outside the sealed compartment 71 can see the interior of the sealed compartment 71 with the naked eye.
[0284] The watertight compartment 71 comprises a reversible fixing system 75 of the permeable compartment 72 on the watertight compartment 71.
[0285] The permeable compartment 72 for drying the at least one false eyelash 1 comprises a bottom 72A and at least one side wall 72B.
[0286] The permeable compartment 72 is configured to be separated from the sealed compartment 71 and reversibly change from a configuration assembled on the sealed compartment 71 to a configuration disassembled from the sealed compartment 71.
[0287] The permeable compartment 72 comprises a complementary reversible fastening system 76 configured to cooperate with the reversible fastening system 75 of the sealed compartment 71, in order to assemble the sealed compartment 71 with the permeable compartment 72.
[0288] When the complementary reversible fixing system 76 of the permeable compartment 72 cooperates with the reversible fixing system 75 of the sealed compartment 71, the sealed compartment 71 is sealed in a sealed manner by the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72.
[0289] In the example shown in Figures 11 to 13, the reversible fixing system 75 of the waterproof compartment 71 in cooperation with the complementary reversible fastening system 76 of the permeable compartment 76 is a screw system. The permeable compartment 72 is configured to be screwed onto the waterproof compartment 71.
[0290] Thus, intuitively the user can tightly close the waterproof compartment 71, using the permeable compartment 72, and the box 70 thus has fewer spare parts and can be compact.
[0291] The protective cover 73 comprises an upper partition 73A and at least one side partition 73B.
[0292] The protective cover 73 has openings 77 for air circulation through its upper partition 73A and / or its side partition 73B.
[0293] The air circulating through the openings 77 advantageously allows the interior of the permeable compartment 72 to be ventilated when the cover 73 closes the permeable compartment 72, and accelerates and promotes the drying of the false eyelash 1 located inside the permeable compartment 72.
[0294] In the example of Figures 11 to 13, the protective cover 73 has at least two openings 77 facing each other and extending through the lateral partition 73B of the protective cover 73. The openings 77 are oblong in shape, elongated along a normal to the upper partition 73A of the cover 73.
[0295] The transfer basket comprises a bottom 74A and at least one side wall 74B.
[0296] In the example shown in Figures 11 to 13, the watertight compartment 71, the permeable compartment 72 and transfer basket 74 are cylindrical in shape.
[0297] The bottom 71A of the sealed compartment 71, the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72, and the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 have a concave interior surface.
[0298] Advantageously, the curved shape of the bottoms 71A, 72A and 74A promotes the cleaning and drying of the false eyelash 1 in that it allows the residues of a cleaning composition to be concentrated in a local central zone and prevents the false eyelash 1 from bathing in the residue when it is in the drying phase.
[0299] Furthermore, the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 is located at a distance from the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72 when the transfer basket 74 is inserted into the permeable compartment 72.
[0300] For this purpose, the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72 advantageously comprises at least one element 72C projecting from the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72 in the direction of the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 when the transfer basket 74 is inserted into the permeable compartment 72.
[0301] In the example of Figures 14 to 17, the projecting element 72C is a continuous annular rib extending in projection from the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72.
[0302] Alternatively, element 72C is a discontinuous rib.
[0303] Thus, the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 rests on the projecting element 72C when inserted into the permeable compartment 72 and is held away from the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72.
[0304] A space for collecting the excess cleaning composition is thus provided between the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 and the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72.
[0305] In a variant not shown, or in addition, the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 advantageously comprises at least one projecting element, in particular a rib, in particular annular, continuous or discontinuous, projecting from the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 in the direction of the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72, and by means of which the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 comes to bear on the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72 when it is inserted therein.
[0306] In the same way, a space allowing the collection of excess cleaning composition is thus provided between the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 and the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72.
[0307] The height separating the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 and the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72, taken vertically at the center of the transfer basket 74, when the transfer basket 74 is inserted into the permeable compartment 72, is for example greater than 0.01 mm and is in particular between 0.05 mm and 5 mm.
[0308] The transfer basket 74 has through holes 78. The holes 78 are advantageously located in the bottom 74A of the basket 74.
[0309] The holes 78 provide efficient drainage of the cleaning composition out of the transfer basket 74 and the cleaning composition can be accommodated in the space formed between the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 and the bottom 72A of the permeable compartment 72.
[0310] Thanks to these arrangements, the false eyelash 1 located on the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 does not bathe excessively in the excess cleaning composition when the transfer basket 74 is placed in the permeable compartment 72 for the purpose of drying the false eyelash 1.
[0311] The transfer basket 74 also comprises a gripping area 79 intended to be grasped by a user in order to insert or remove the transfer basket 74 from the sealed compartment 71 and / or the permeable compartment 72.
[0312] A rim of the side wall 74B forms the gripping area 79 of the transfer basket 74.
[0313] More specifically, an annular bead 74C is present on an upper edge of the side wall 74B of the transfer basket 74 and facilitates gripping of the transfer basket 74 by the user.
[0314] In the example shown in Figures 14 to 17, the annular bead 74C is continuous and extends over the entire upper edge of the side wall 74B, making projection towards the inside of the transfer basket 74.
[0315] As a variant, not shown, the transfer basket 74 comprises a gripping member extending in projection from the side wall 74B towards the outside of the transfer basket 74 and / or the transfer basket 74 comprises a central spike projecting from the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74 towards the inside of the transfer basket 74 and extending in a direction normal to the bottom 74A of the transfer basket 74.
[0316] In all these examples, the transfer basket 74 can be moved completely away from the sealed compartment 71 and the permeable compartment 72.
[0317] In order to clean and dry the false eyelash 1, the user uses the cleaning and drying box 70 by performing the following steps.
[0318] First, the user places the false eyelash(s) to be cleaned in the transfer basket 74 located in the sealed compartment 71. Alternatively, the user places the false eyelash(s) to be cleaned in the transfer basket 74 located outside the sealed compartment 71 and then places the transfer basket 74 with the false eyelash(s) to be cleaned in the sealed compartment 71.
[0319] The cleaning and drying box 70 is then in the false eyelash cleaning configuration 1, illustrated in Figures 14 and 15.
[0320] The user immerses the false eyelash 1 received in the transfer basket 74 in a cleaning composition within the sealed cleaning compartment 71. The cleaning composition may be a makeup remover, micellar water or any other composition intended to remove a specific product added to the false eyelash.
[0321] The user then seals the sealed compartment 71 using the permeable compartment 72, by cooperation between the complementary reversible fastening system 76 of the permeable compartment 72 and the reversible fastening system 75 of the sealed compartment 71.
[0322] The hermetic closure of the watertight compartment 71 is for example achieved by screwing the permeable compartment 72 onto the watertight compartment 71.
[0323] The user optionally agitates the casing 70 in order to clean the false eyelash 1. Sufficient agitation allows the cleaning composition to advantageously impregnate the false eyelash 1 and to remove any product added to the false eyelash 1 that the user wishes to remove.
[0324] Once the false eyelash 1 has been cleaned, the user disassembles the permeable compartment 72 from the sealed compartment 71, and possibly removes the protective cover 73 from the permeable compartment 72.
[0325] The disassembly of the permeable compartment 72 with the sealed compartment 71 is for example carried out by unscrewing the permeable compartment 72 from the sealed compartment 71.
[0326] The removal of the protective cover 73 from the permeable compartment 72 is for example carried out by unclipping, unscrewing and / or moving the protective cover 73 away from the permeable compartment 72.
[0327] In order to allow the false eyelash 1 to dry, the user moves the transfer basket 74 from the sealed compartment 71 to the inside of the permeable compartment 72, without having to touch the false eyelashes 1 directly and risk altering their structural and / or geometric integrity.
[0328] The cleaning and drying box 70 is then in the drying configuration, illustrated in Figures 16 and 17.
[0329] Finally, the user closes the protective cover 73 on the permeable compartment 72 to allow the false eyelash 1 to dry away from surrounding contamination.
[0330] The step of closing the protective cover 73 on the permeable compartment 72 is as described above, that is to say is for example carried out by snapping, screwing and / or positioning the protective cover 73 on the permeable compartment 72.
[0331] The false eyelash cleaning and drying box 70 thus makes it possible to simply and effectively clean the false eyelash 1, and to dry it quickly, while retaining its shape and integrity during the cleaning and drying step, thanks to the absence of handling of the false eyelash 1 between cleaning and drying, and while protecting it from surrounding contamination.
[0332] The sealed compartment 71 being assemblable with the permeable compartment 72, the cleaning box 70 according to the invention is compact and easily transportable by a user.
[0333] The transfer basket 74 allows the user to insert the false eyelash 1 into the sealed compartment 71 for the cleaning step, to transfer the false eyelash 1 from the sealed compartment 71 to the permeable compartment 72 in order to allow the false eyelash 1 to dry, and this, without ever needing to touch the false eyelash 1 with a gripping element, such as fingers for example.
[0334] The curved shape of the artificial eyelashes 11 of the false eyelash 1 and the curvature of the base line 10 of the false eyelash 1 are thus preserved.
[0335] The false eyelash 1 is thus effectively cleaned and dried, and is ready to be reused for a new deposit on natural eyelashes by a user.
