Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Device for detecting water entering a burial vault
[0001] The present invention relates to a device for detecting water entering a burial vault. The alarm system, placed outside the vault, is activated by a float system, located inside the vault, when the water reaches approximately 10 cm, thus allowing time to anticipate and plan for pumping inside the vault before any of the coffins inside are damaged.
[0002] Regularly, many people are faced with the flooding of a loved one's coffin, located in a burial vault, leading to great difficulties in emptying and restoring it. This lack of technology to detect the beginning of water infiltration creates a significant problem with pumping and repairing the coffin.
[0003] The device according to the present invention makes it possible to overcome this drawback. Indeed, the device makes it possible to detect the presence of water in the burial vault before it comes into contact with one of the coffins, and therefore before any damage occurs. It comprises an alarm system, placed outside the vault, which is activated by a float system, located inside the vault, when the water reaches approximately 10 cm, thus allowing time to anticipate and plan for pumping from inside the vault before any of the coffins inside are damaged.More specifically, the device is characterized by a PVC casing with a power switch on its surface, a test button to check the battery status, an LED indicator, and an 85dB buzzer at 0.3m, all powered by an integrated circuit and a 9v 6LR61 battery. The LED indicator and the buzzer are triggered when the float, composed of two plastic bells connected by a waterproof cable, detects water reaching approximately 10 cm. The PVC casing and the float are connected by a waterproof electrical cable.
[0004] The attached drawing illustrates the present invention: Figure [1] represents the device of the invention.
[0005] With reference to this drawing, the device comprises the PVC housing, with on its surface the power switch, the test button to check the battery condition, the LED indicator, the 85dB buzzer at 0.3m, the integrated circuit, the 9v 6LR61 type battery, the float, and the connection system.
[0006] The device according to the invention is particularly intended for professionals in the pipework and funeral services sectors. Alarm box:
[0007] Operating Guide Alarm box with 9V battery power supply
[0008] Composition: PVC case, power switch, test button, LED indicator, 85dB buzzer at 0.3m, 9V battery (type 6LR61).
[0009] Operation: In [Fig. 1], a float indicates the high level of a tank. A test button allows the battery to be checked for proper condition.
[0010] Connection: It is possible to connect all types of sensors with a dry contact output.
[0011] Warning!
[0012] The installation and implementation of this box must be carried out in accordance with international IEC standards and the national standards of its place of use.
[0013] It is the responsibility of the end customer to ensure that their complete installation complies with these standards.
Claims
[Claim 1] Claims Device that detects water entering a burial vault. The alarm system, located outside the vault, is activated by a float system inside the vault when the water reaches approximately 10 cm, which allows time to anticipate and pump water inside the vault before one of the coffins inside deteriorates. Said device is characterized in that it comprises an alarm box, composed of a PVC casing, with on its surface an on / off switch, a test button to check the good condition of the battery, an LED indicator, a buzzer of 85dB at 0.3m, all operating with an integrated circuit and a 9v battery of type 6LR61, the LED indicator and the buzzer being triggered when the float, composed of two plastic bells, connected by a waterproof cable, detects water reaching approximately 10 cm, the PVC casing and the float being connected by a waterproof electric cable.
