Description

Title of the invention: ELECTRIC OR HYBRID MOTOR VEHICLE COMPRISING TWO LEAVES CAPABLE OF PROTECTING AN ELECTRICAL CHARGING CONNECTOR

[0001] The invention relates to the field of electric or hybrid motor vehicles, and more particularly to the electrical connectors allowing their recharging.

[0002] Known from the prior art is a French patent application FR2980142B1 describing a hybrid motor vehicle comprising access to a fuel tank and an electric charging socket, said access being protected by a first hatch and said socket being protected by a second hatch. The first hatch and the second hatch are arranged adjacent to each other. The first hatch is fixed by a first hinge and the second hatch is fixed by a second hinge. The first hinge and the second hinge are mounted on a rotating vertical tubular axis. The first hatch and the second hatch therefore open in the same direction but independently of each other. When the first hatch is open, a mechanical locking means prevents the opening of said second hatch. Conversely, when said second hatch is open, said mechanical locking means prevents the opening of said first hatch. The invention makes it possible to reduce the risk of fuel being sprayed onto said intake when filling the fuel tank intended for the thermal engine of the vehicle via said access. The first hatch and the second hatch respectively comprise a first tab fixed to a first part of said tubular axis and a second tab fixed to a second part of said tubular axis. When said first hatch and said second hatch are closed, said first tab and said second tab are moved away from said first part of said tubular axis and from said second part of said tubular axis, opposite their respective hatches. When the first hatch is open, the first tab moves until it is opposite said second hatch. Said second hatch comprises a striker. The first tab has a bolt at its end.The bolt then engages in the latch when said first hatch is fully open, thus blocking the opening of said second hatch. The first hatch also has a latch. The second tab also has a bolt at its end. Thus, in the same way, the opening of said first hatch is prevented when said second hatch is open. However, a disadvantage remains. When electrically recharging said hybrid motor vehicle, said second hatch does not protect a connector. electrical connector capable of supplying electrical energy. Thus, if said electrical connector is struck when it is plugged into said socket, that is to say when recharging said vehicle, it is possible that the latter will deteriorate, as well as said recharging socket. Recharging said vehicle then becomes impossible.

[0003] The objective of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks by proposing a solution making it possible to protect an electrical connector from potential impacts which could cause its deterioration during recharging.

[0004] To achieve this objective, the invention proposes an electric or hybrid motor vehicle comprising a running gear whose points of contact with the ground define a base plane defined by a first longitudinal direction corresponding to straight-line travel, and by a second transverse direction of said vehicle and orthogonal to the first longitudinal direction and a third vertical direction orthogonal to the first longitudinal direction and to the second transverse direction and is oriented away from the ground, said vehicle comprising a housing comprising an electrical charging socket, said socket being intended to receive an electrical connector configured to supply said vehicle with electrical energy, said housing comprises a first leaf and a second leaf, said first leaf comprising a first protective flap capable of sliding towards the outside of said vehicle in the second transverse direction and said second leaf comprising a second protective flap capable of sliding towards the outside of said vehicle in the second transverse direction, said first protective flap and said second protective flap being configured to fully protect said connector.

[0005] Thanks to the invention, said electrical connector is entirely protected by said first protective flap and by said second protective flap, in addition to said first leaf and said second leaf.

[0006] Advantageously, said recharging socket comprises a lock.

[0007] The lock allows the secure closing of said housing, thus avoiding vandalism while preventing its untimely opening when said vehicle is in motion.

[0008] Advantageously, said lock is a key lock.

[0009] Thus, the key of said vehicle can open or close said lock without requiring additional manipulation by the driver on said vehicle.

[0010] Advantageously, said first leaf is fixed to the housing by a first hinge and said second leaf is fixed to the housing by a second hinge.

[0011] The use of hinges allows the easy opening of said first leaf and said second leaf.

[0012] Preferably, said first leaf comprises a first rail capable of sliding said first protective flap and said second leaf comprises a second rail capable of slide said second protective flap.

[0013] Sliding is thus facilitated and does not cause any deterioration of said first flap and said second flap.

[0014] Advantageously, said first leaf and said second leaf have a width of between 2 cm and 8 cm.

[0015] This width makes it possible to completely cover said socket when said housing is closed.

[0016] Preferably, said first protective flap and the second protective flap have a width of less than 8 cm.

[0017] In this way, said first protective flap and said second protective flap are entirely stored behind respectively said first leaf and said second leaf when the vehicle is not being recharged.

[0018] Preferably, said first protective flap and said second protective flap have a phosphorescent paint.

[0019] Thus, said first protective flap and said second protective flap are visible at night when said vehicle is being recharged. This reduces the risk of accidental collisions due to a lack of visibility.

[0020] Advantageously, said first leaf has a first covering element and said second leaf has a second covering element, said first covering element and said second covering element being configured to close a space between said first leaf and said second leaf when said housing is in a closed position.

[0021] The presence of covering elements prevents rain from being projected inside said housing.

[0022] Preferably, said first covering element comprises a first magnet and said second covering element comprises a second magnet.

[0023] Thus, said first leaf and said second leaf are held together when the vehicle is not being recharged.

[0024] The invention will be further detailed by the description of non-limiting embodiments, and on the basis of the appended figures illustrating variants of the invention, in which: - [Fig.l] schematically illustrates, in top view, an open housing of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle during its recharging via an electrical connector according to one embodiment of the invention; - [Fig.2] schematically illustrates, in top view, a closed housing of a electric or hybrid motor vehicle according to one embodiment of the invention.

[0025] [Fig.l] is schematically illustrated, in a top view along the third vertical direction Z, a cross-section of the rear-right side of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle 100 comprising a running gear whose points of contact with the ground define a base plane XY defined by a first longitudinal direction X corresponding to straight-line travel, and by a second transverse direction Y of said vehicle 100 and orthogonal to the first longitudinal direction X and a third vertical direction Z orthogonal to the first longitudinal direction X and to the second transverse direction Y and is oriented away from the ground. The vehicle 100 comprises a housing 1 having an electrical charging socket 2. An electrical connector 3 is intended to be plugged into said socket 2 in order to supply said vehicle 100 with electrical energy. The housing 1 comprises a first leaf 4a and a second leaf 4b.The first leaf 4a is fixed to the housing 1 by means of a first hinge 6a. The first leaf is fixed to the housing 1 by means of a second hinge 6b. The first hinge 6a and the second hinge 6b respectively allow a solid hold of said first leaf 4a and said second leaf 4b, while allowing a rotation to open or close said housing 1. The first leaf 4a comprises a first protective flap 5a. The second leaf 4b comprises a second protective flap 5b. The first protective flap 5a and said second protective flap 5b are configured to fully protect said connector 3 during the electrical recharging of said vehicle 100. Preferably, said first protective flap 5a and said second protective flap 5b are covered with a phosphorescent paint. Thus, said first protective flap 5a and said second protective flap 5b are clearly visible, even at night, thus alerting people nearby that said connector 3 is plugged into said socket 2 so that said people do not collide with said connector. Preferably, said first flap 4a and said second flap 4b have a width of between 2 cm and 8 cm, so that said socket 3 is completely protected by said first flap 4a and said second flap 4b. In addition, said first protective flap 5a and said second protective flap 5b have a width of less than 8 cm, which is necessary so that the first protective flap 5a can be completely hidden behind said first flap 4a and so that said second protective flap 5b can be completely hidden behind said second flap 4b.Furthermore, said first protective flap 5a and said protective flap 5b are capable of sliding behind said first leaf 4a and said second leaf 4b respectively. Advantageously, to facilitate the sliding movement, said first leaf 4a comprises a first rail (not shown in [Fig.l]) capable of sliding said first protective flap 5a and said second leaf 4b comprises a second rail (not shown in [Fig.l]) capable of sliding said second protective flap 5b. Thus, when said housing 1 is closed, said first protective flap 5a and said protective flap 5b are not visible, the aesthetics of said vehicle 100 are then preserved in its configuration as well as in its color if said vehicle 100 has a different and / or non-phosphorescent color. The first leaf 4a also comprises a first covering element 7a. The second leaf 4b comprises a second covering element 7b.

[0026] In [Fig.2], a cross-section of the rear-right side of said vehicle 100 is schematically illustrated in a top view. The housing 1 is shown in the closed configuration. The first leaf 4a and the second leaf 4b are arranged opposite each other in the first direction X. The first protective flap 5a is entirely concealed behind said first leaf 4a. The second protective flap 5b is entirely concealed behind said second leaf 4b. The closing of said first leaf 4a is enabled by the presence of said first hinge 6a. In the same way, the closing of said second leaf 4b is enabled by the presence of said second hinge 6b. The housing 1 comprises a space 8 between said first leaf 4a and said second leaf 4b. In this configuration, said first covering element 7a and said second covering element 7b are in contact with each other. Thus, said housing 1 is completely closed so that nothing can penetrate inside said housing 1. For example, in rainy weather, water cannot penetrate inside said housing 1 when the vehicle 100 is not being recharged because the space 8 is closed by said first covering element 7a and said covering element 7b. In another embodiment, said first covering element 7a has a first magnet and said second covering element 7b has a second magnet. Thus, when closing said housing 1, the magnetic force exerted between the first magnet and the second magnet provides additional consolidation for the closing of said housing 1. The risks of opening said housing 1 when said vehicle 100 is in working order are thus reduced.Advantageously, said housing 1 has a lock in order to prevent a third party from opening said housing 1 against the will of the owner of said vehicle 100, and more particularly to avoid acts of vandalism. Preferably, said lock is a key lock, the key of which is identical to that which allowed the opening of said vehicle 100. Thus, the owner of said vehicle 100 only needs a single key to use said vehicle 100.
