Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Mobile lifting device for a building and assembly of a trolley transporting such a device. Technical field of the invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a mobile lifting device for a building and to a trolley assembly for transporting such a device. It is particularly applicable to the handling of heavy loads in building construction. Previous technique
[0002] There are mobility constraints that limit the use of mobile lifting equipment such as truck-mounted cranes and telescopic handlers for loads of less than 250 kg. These movements generate significant economic and environmental costs, while also requiring a substantial time commitment from the professionals in charge, particularly in hard-to-reach environments such as city centers and metropolitan areas.
[0003] Physical strain in the construction sector, exacerbated primarily by the transport of loads under 30 kg, highlights the imperative need to reduce the distribution of small materials and loads across the different levels of buildings under construction. This requirement aims to avoid the administrative burden and workload associated with moving mobile lifting equipment.
[0004] In a context of progressive decline in energy resources, internationalization and standardization of construction rules, new opportunities for creation are emerging.
[0005] The current state of the art uses a jib crane fixed to a structural base, which includes a weight compensation generally equivalent to the load to be lifted. This approach may also require anchoring to the building, an action that frequently leads to irreversible consequences or the need for additional manpower. This equipment proves costly and requires considerable manpower to achieve its stable position, given the number of its components, often weighing approximately 25 kg each (in accordance with occupational risk prevention regulations). Furthermore, a counterweight of approximately 200 kg is generally required for similar machines. It is worth noting that a design rule states: "The sum of the heaviest load to be lifted and the accessories used must always remain less than or equal to the Maximum Working Load (MWL)", which highlights the concept of mobility and transportability. Presentation of the invention
[0006] The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks with a completely innovative approach.
[0007] More specifically, the invention aims to provide a lifting mechanism powered exclusively by mains electricity, which is fast and efficient, taking advantage of the benefits of a robust and consistent construction structure. This concept is positioned as a response to future challenges in the industry.
[0008] In particular, an objective of the invention is to provide such a technique making it possible to do without any other ballast system.
[0009] One objective of the invention is to provide such a technique, which can be easily adapted to existing constructions.
[0010] These objectives, as well as others which will appear subsequently, are achieved, according to a first aspect, by means of a mobile lifting device for a building, the device comprises a mast including a boom extending between a first end and a second end, a slewing table and two stays, the first end of the boom is connected to the slewing table and the second end includes a hoist adapted to lift and move loads, each stay extends from the slewing table to the second end of the boom; The orientation table is connected to the apron of a stirrup, said stirrup being configured to be fixed to a building by the action of a pulley, remarkable in that it has two modes: a slab nose mode in which the stirrup is fixed to a slab nose of a building, in this mode the slab nose of the building is between the apron of the stirrup and a shoe plate of the jaw shoe, the shoe plate of the jaw shoe is movable in translation by a shoe arm, the action of the pulley moves the shoe plate of the jaw shoe which then exerts a pressure force on the slab nose blocking the position of the device; an acroterion mode in which the stirrup is attached to a parapet of a building, in this mode the parapet of the building is between a sliding shoe and a parapet base attached to the stirrup, the sliding shoe has a sliding shoe base positioned partly on the deck and movable in translation by a straight guide of the deck, the action of the pulley block moves the sliding shoe base on the straight guide which exerts a pressure force on the parapet blocking the position of the device.
[0011] Thanks to these features, the building attachment clamp (composed of stirrups and jaws) eliminates the need for counterweights, anchors, or superfluous components. This design gives the clamp complete mobility, allowing it to follow the various stages of construction (such as the installation of bituminous waterproofing, plastering, etc.). Its effectiveness continues until the building is handed over to the client, and even during its dismantling.
[0012] An essential element of this machine is its truly mobile character. A with the help of its positioning trolley. The design of this trolley, equipped with three-wheel hubs and an automatic braking system, simplifies handling, climbing the building's floors, and positioning in docking areas.
[0013] This design proves to be economical and preserves comfort at work.
[0014] The ease of installation is also a major advantage. The single, standardized installation board supplied with the device allows structural engineering firms to integrate the loads into their designs. This integration ensures continuous use of the device until its dismantling, thus enhancing its durability and practicality.
[0015] The invention is advantageously implemented according to the embodiments and variants set out below, which are to be considered individually or according to any technically operative combination.
[0016] In one embodiment, the first end of the boom has a mast head supporting the hoist and is connected by a pivot joint to the stirrup.
[0017] Thus, it offers greater flexibility and versatility during lifting and moving operations. This configuration allows the hoist to pivot around the stirrup, resulting in several significant benefits:
[0018] Wide range of motion: The pivot joint between the mast and the stirrup allows the hoist to move over an arc around the stirrup. This provides a wide range of motion that makes it possible to lift, move, and precisely position loads in confined or hard-to-reach spaces.
[0019] Positioning accuracy: the ability to pivot allows for precise positioning of the load, which is essential when installing or handling loads in awkward locations where accuracy is paramount.
[0020] The first end of the boom has a mast head supporting the tackle by a pivot joint.
[0021] Adaptability to lifting angles: Thanks to its pivoting capability, the hoist can be adjusted to different angles relative to the load being lifted. This proves particularly useful when it is necessary to lift loads in unconventional positions or orientations. Stress reduction: When a load is lifted, the stresses and forces exerted on the hoist and mast structure are better distributed thanks to the pivoting joint. This helps to extend the equipment's service life by reducing wear and excessive stress on the components.
[0022] In one embodiment, the shoe sole has a clamping position and a transport position and the sliding shoe sole has a clamping position and a transport position, the clamping position corresponds to holding the device on the building and the transport position corresponds to a spacing with the apron configured for inserting the device onto the parts of the building.
[0023] In one embodiment, in the acroterion mode the device includes a lateral stabilizer, said lateral stabilizer includes a press that rests against the acroterion and at least one lateral pin is used to position the lateral stabilizer 8 on the device by making it fixed.
[0024] In one embodiment, in the parapet mode the device includes a rear stabilizer, said rear stabilizer is integral with the device and includes a stabilizer foot which rests on the floor of the building near the parapet.
[0025] In one embodiment, the rear stabilizer includes a stabilizer wheel which is connected by a cable to the foot and adapted to adjust the height of the foot relative to the device.
[0026] According to a second aspect, the present invention relates to an assembly of a trolley transporting the mobile lifting device for a building, said trolley comprises a main chassis supporting the device, and has on each side two wheels positioned parallel as well as a third wheel located slightly raised relative to the level of the two wheels, the third wheel contributes to the maneuverability of the trolley and is configured to pivot easily around a central point and adapted to go up or down stairs.
[0027] The advantages, purposes and particular characteristics of this assembly being similar to those of the device which is the subject of the present invention, they are not recalled here.
[0028] A three-wheeled trolley offers several advantages that make it an attractive choice in many situations. Here are some of the key advantages of a three-wheeled trolley: Improved maneuverability: Three-wheeled trolleys are generally more agile and easier to maneuver, especially in tight or cluttered spaces. The three-wheeled design allows for easier turning and smoother movement around obstacles. Space saving: Three-wheeled trolleys are more compact than their four-wheeled counterparts, making them ideal for environments where space is limited. They can be used efficiently in narrow aisles, warehouses, or confined storage areas.Energy saving: Due to their lighter design and better maneuverability, three-wheeled trolleys may require less effort to move, which can lead to energy savings and reduced fatigue for the operator. [0044] The present invention is primarily intended for construction workers, and more specifically those involved in finishing work on multi-story buildings. In these contexts, the crane used by masons is generally made available to other trades such as carpenters and roofers. However, once the structural work is completed, the crane is dismantled. The tradespeople can then easily transport their materials and equipment to their work site, thus saving time, especially if the quantity of materials requires several lifting operations.
[0045] Installing the device takes approximately one hour per operator, and removing it will also take one hour. Over three round trips, it will be loaded with approximately 80 kg. If, to complete a task, five round trips are required with two For operators carrying loads of 25 kg, the advantages will already be evident.
[0046] The next users of this device are site managers, rental services, and companies involved after the structural work phase. Installing the device on the construction site, with a pro-rata cost included in the budget, will be an undeniable asset for the efficient execution of their projects, particularly when these projects are located in hard-to-reach areas. Furthermore, this approach will contribute to obtaining certifications such as the BBCA (Low Carbon Building) label.
[0047] Fig. 1 shows the assembly of the device ready for lifting on a slab edge in profile view.
[0048] This figure shows the slab nose 100 and the device mounted on it. The device comprises four main parts: the first, the mast 1; the second, the stirrup 2; the third, the jaw shoe 3; and the fourth, the orientation table 4.
[0049] The mast includes a boom 11 and shrouds 12.
[0050] The boom 11 extends between a first end and a second end. The first end of the boom 11 is connected to the slewing table 4, and the second end has a pulley 5. The slewing table has a slewing motor 42 with a slewing ring 4L
[0051] The second end of the boom 11 has a shroud pivot 15 at the masthead 13. The second end of the boom 11 is fixed to the tackle 5 which is connected to the boom 11 by a masthead pin 14. There are also other pins: a shroud foot pin 16 and a boom pin 17. The pins serve to hold the elements together.
[0052] The slab nose 100 of the building is between the apron 22 of the stirrup 2 and the shoe base 33 of the jaw shoe 3.
[0053] The stirrup 2 is configured to be attached to a building by the action of a block and tackle via a block and tackle wheel 23. The block and tackle box 21 serves as a link between the slewing table 4 and the jaw shoe 3.
[0054] The shoe jaw 3 is connected by a rear shoe arm 31 and a front shoe arm 32. Each arm is held by a stirrup pin 24.
[0055] One of the arms is connected to the pulley. The shoe sole 33 is mobile and performs a transverse movement.
[0056] The shoe sole 33 has a clamping position and a transport position.
[0057] The clamping position corresponds to holding the device on the building and the transport position corresponds to the spacing with the apron 22 to allow the insertion of the device onto the parts of the building.
[0058] Naturally, the invention is described above by way of example. It is understood that a person skilled in the art is able to carry out different variants of the rea- scaling up the invention without going outside the scope of the invention.
[0059] Fig. 2 shows the assembly of the device ready for lifting on a slab edge in view from above.
[0060] The slab nose is visible, with the apron 22 of the stirrup 2. An arrow 11 is shown allowing the orientation table 4 to show the possibility of stacking with the rotation of the orientation table.
[0061] Fig. 3 shows the assembly of the device ready for lifting on a parapet in profile view.
[0062] This figure incorporates elements from [Fig.1]: the elements of the mast 1, and of the stirrup 2. The mast 1 is also represented with dotted lines to show another position.
[0063] The apron 22 of the stirrup 2 is placed on the acroterion 105.
[0064] The stirrup 2 is integral with the parapet 105 of the building. In this mode, the parapet of the building is between a sliding shoe 7 and a parapet footing 6 integral with the stirrup 2. The parapet footing 6 has at least one footing pin 621a making it integral with the stirrup 2.
[0065] The sliding shoe 7 includes a base 71 of the sliding shoe 7 positioned partly on the apron 22 and movable in translation by a straight guide of the apron 22. The action of the pulley moves the base 71 of the sliding shoe 7 on the straight guide which exerts a pressure force on the parapet 105 blocking the position of the device.
[0066] The device includes a lateral stabilizer 8 exerting an additional holding force on the parapet 105. The lateral stabilizer 8 includes a press bearing against the parapet 105, and at least one lateral pin is used to position the lateral stabilizer 8 on the device and secure it thereto. In one embodiment, there are two lateral pins.
[0067] Figure 4 shows the assembly of the lifting device on a parapet in a front view, allowing for a better view of the lateral stabilizer 8. The lateral stabilizer 8 has rods that keep a clamp at a distance. The clamp is configured to clamp the parapet 105.
[0068] The press is offset from the device, which provides better overall stability. The distance from the press is approximately equal to one width of the device.
[0069] Fig. 5 shows the assembly of the device ready for lifting on a parapet in top view and shows an arrow 11 which represents the path of the load towards the stacking area.
[0070] This figure reproduces the elements of [Fig.4] and shows the press 81 of the lateral stabilizer 8.
[0071] The rear stabilizer 9 is also visible. The rear stabilizer 9 has a A rod with a stabilizer foot 92 that rests on the ground via a stabilizer wheel, allowing adjustment of the height of the stabilizer foot 92. The rear stabilizer 9 allows even heavier loads to be transported by the hoist 5.
[0072] Figure 6 shows the operation of the bracket and the jaw shoe in slab nose mode. This figure incorporates some elements described above. This figure shows two positions of the shoe base 33 of the jaw shoe 3: the clamping position and a transport position.
[0073] In the transport position the distance between the apron 22 of the stirrup 2 is the greatest and allows the insertion of the device onto a slab nose.
[0074] In the clamping position, the distance between the apron 22 of the bracket 2 corresponds to the thickness of the slab nose.
[0075] The pulley wheel 23 turns the screw 27 which raises and lowers the pinion 25 releasing or tensioning the chain 26 which is attached to one of the arms of the device, which has the effect of raising or lowering the shoe jaw 3 with a very great force.
[0076] Figure 7 shows the operation of the stirrup and the sliding shoe in acroterion mode. This figure incorporates some elements described above.
[0077] The parapet footing 6 is in a vertical position and is held by footing pins 62.
[0078] The pulley wheel 23 turns the screw 27 which raises and lowers the sprocket 25 releasing or tensioning the chain 26 which is attached to the sliding shoe 7, which has the effect of moving the latter forward or backward with a very great force.
[0079] The sole 71 of the sliding shoe 7 is guided by a straight guide of the apron 22 and by means of the slide 72. The chain 26 is connected to the sliding shoe 7.
[0080] A spring 73 allows the sole 71 to follow the straight guide. This spring facilitates implementation.
[0081] This figure shows two positions of the sole 71. One position where the distance is proximal to the acroterion sole 6 and one position where the distance is distal to the acroterion sole 6. On the right of the figure, a section is shown to appreciate the sole 71 in front view.
[0082] Figure 8 shows the installation of the stirrup and the jaw shoe in slab nose mode. This figure incorporates the elements described above.
[0083] A trolley is used to transport the device and includes a main frame supporting the device. The trolley has two parallel wheels on each side and a third wheel slightly raised above the level of the other two wheels. The third wheel contributes to the trolley's maneuverability and is configured to pivot easily around a central point and is suitable for going up or down stairs.
[0084] Using the trolley, the operator overcomes the levels and obstacles present on the On the construction site, equipped with a safety harness, the operator guides the device towards the slab edge 100, i.e., the edge of the slab of the building under construction. The operator then triggers the pivot using their own weight to balance the movement and tilt the device from the trolley. The pivoting of the device puts it in the optimal position for use. Using the pulley wheel, the operator tightens the jaw shoe 3 and detaches the trolley. Next, the operator assembles the mast 1 using the guy pin 16 and boom pin 17, raises the hoist 5 with the automatic pins 14, and connects the device to the temporary electrical panel on the construction site. At this point, the device is ready for lifting.
[0085] Figure 9 shows the installation of the stirrup and the sliding shoe in acroterion mode.
[0086] This figure incorporates the elements described above.
[0087] The operator, wearing a safety harness, guides the device towards the parapet 105 using the trolley. He activates the oscillating mode to position the machine on the parapet 105. The operator then tightens the sliding shoe 7 using the pulley wheel 23, detaches the trolley, raises the lateral stabilizer 8 and the rear stabilizer 9, and secures the assembly by inserting the side pins 82 while adjusting the supports using the stabilizer wheels 91 and the press 81. The operator sets up the entire mast 1 using the automatic pins 16 and 17, raises the hoist 5 using the automatic pins 14, and connects the device to the temporary electrical panel on the construction site. At this stage, the device is ready to perform the lifting operation.
[0088] Figure 10 shows the different possibilities of the device in use.
[0089] This figure shows that it is possible to switch from one mode to another.
[0090] To switch from slab edge mode to parapet mode, the operator must: remove the 3. The operator mounts the parapet footings 6 and the sliding shoes 7.
[0091] To switch from parapet mode to slab edge mode, the operator must: remove the parapet footings 6 and the sliding brackets 7. The operator mounts the jaw brackets 3.
[0092] Figures 11 to 14 illustrate the different modes of operation and assembly of the different elements described above.
[0093] Figure 12 illustrates the first step in the transition from slab edge mode to parapet mode.
[0094] Figure 13 illustrates the second step in the transition from slab edge mode to parapet mode.
[0095] It is emphasized that all the features, as they are apparent to a person skilled in the art from the present description, the drawings and the attached claims, even if in practice they have only been described in relation to other specific features, both individually and in any combinations, can be combined with other features or groups of features risks disclosed here, insofar as this has not been expressly excluded or technical circumstances render such combinations impossible or meaningless.
