[0002] In one aspect, disclosed herein, there is a system for autonomously applying a cosmetic style comprising a smart device comprising an application configured to select the cosmetic style from a plurality of cosmetic styles, display the cosmetic style on an image of a body and transmit the cosmetic style as a makeup image file and a printing device.In some embodiments, the printing device includes at least one position sensor, one or more reservoirs configured to hold one or more colorants, a printer including a printer applicator, the printer configured to print the cosmetic style with the one or more colorants through the printer applicator, and a processor configured to receive the makeup image file, detect a position and curvature of the body based on the position sensor, and direct the printer to print the cosmetic style on a specific location.

[0030] The present document discloses devices, systems, and methods for autonomously printing cosmetic styles, such as makeup, temporary tattoos, and other such applications. In some embodiments, the cosmetic styles include eyebrow makeup, foundation, concealer, highlighter, blush, eye shadow, contour, eyeliner, and the like. In some embodiments, the cosmetic styles include facial hair, hairlines, and the like. In some embodiments, a user of the system may use a smart device, such as a smartphone or tablet, to try on a variety of cosmetic styles. The user may then modify the cosmetic style based on personal preferences, trending cosmetic styles, etc.Once the user is satisfied with the cosmetic style, the user can transfer the cosmetic style to a printing device. The printing device is configured to print the cosmetic style on a location specified by the user, as the user moves the device over their skin, face, or hair.

Although the printing device 100 is illustrated with a cylindrical body 105 and a cylindrical handle 135, it should be understood that the printing device 100 can take any number of shapes. Claims
1. A system (2000) for autonomously applying a cosmetic style, the system (2000) comprising: a smart device (1000) comprising an application configured to: select the cosmetic style from a plurality of cosmetic styles; display the cosmetic style on an image of a body and transmit the cosmetic style as a makeup image file; and a printing device (100), comprising: at least one position sensor (115); one or more reservoirs (145) each configured to contain one or more colorants; a printer (110) comprising a printer applicator (112), the printer (110) being configured to print the cosmetic style with the one or more colorants through the printer applicator (112) and a processor (125) configured to: receive the makeup image file, detect a position and a curvature of the facial feature based on the position sensor (115);direct the printer (110) to print the cosmetic style in a specific location.;
2. The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the system (2000) further comprises a primer (405) configured to be applied prior to cosmetic styling.
3. The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the system (2000) further comprises a topcoat (410) configured to be applied after cosmetic styling.
4. The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the printing device (100) further comprises: a camera (120A, 120B) configured to take a plurality of images, wherein the specific location is further informed by the plurality of images and a light source (130A, 130B) configured to illuminate the body.

The system (2000) of Claim 4, wherein the camera (120A, 120B) is a first camera, and the device (100) further comprises a second camera (120A, 120B); the first camera being located on a first side of the printer applicator (112), and the second camera being located on a second side opposite the first side of the printer applicator component (112).
6. The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the printing device (100) further comprises a user interface (140) configured to provide a printing guide (155).
7. The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the position sensor (115) is a rolling position sensor; wherein the rolling position sensor (115) is configured to contact the body when the rolling position sensor (115) rolls over the body and to measure a curvature of the body.
8. The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the printer (110) is coupled to the printing device (100) with a flexible connector, and wherein the flexible connector is configured to articulate the printer (110).

The system (2000) of claim 1, wherein the application is further configured to recommend the cosmetic style from among the plurality of cosmetic styles; wherein the recommendation is based on a trending cosmetic style, a color of a user's hair, skin, or lips, a prior cosmetic style selected by the user, a shape of the user's eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, cheeks, or forehead, a location of the user, a color of the user's clothing, or a combination thereof.

A method of autonomously applying a cosmetic style with the system (2000) of claim 1, the method comprising: selecting the cosmetic style from a plurality of cosmetic styles; displaying the cosmetic style on an image of a body; transferring the cosmetic style as an image file to a printing device (100); moving the printing device (100) over the body and printing the cosmetic style on the body at a specific location based on one or more position sensors (115) on the printing device (100).
