Description

Title of the invention: PRESSURE CLASP Technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of clasps for binding straps, and in particular a pressure clasp. STATE OF THE ART

[0002] The binding strap is used to fix goods during transportation, movement or storage. It is light and reliable, saves time, is widely applicable and can effectively prevent damage caused by falling or moving. One end of the binding strap is provided with a locking pressure clasp and the other end is a free end, after the goods are bound and fixed using the binding strap, the free end should be inserted into the locking pressure clasp, and then the final locking of the binding strap is performed using the locking pressure clasp. Therefore, the fixing force of the locking pressure clasp affects the fixing effect of the binding strap on the goods, as well as the stability and safety during use.

[0003] Document CN218737539U discloses an anti-skid pressure clasp, wherein the pressure clasp comprises a pressure clasp base, pressure clasp teeth and a foldable operating handle. The pressure clasp teeth are hingedly mounted on the pressure clasp base, and the operating handle is fixed to the pressure clasp teeth, and the operating handle drives the pressure clasp teeth to swing down or up. One end of the strap is inserted between the pressure clasp base and the pressure clasp teeth, thereby locking the strap when the pressure clasp teeth swing down and releasing the strap when the pressure clasp teeth swing up.

[0004] In the above solution, the locking and releasing of the strap are controlled by turning over the handle, such operation is convenient, but the components of the anti-slip pressure clasp are numerous, and the handle is likely to loosen or even fall off or break due to repeated turning over for a long time, resulting in insufficient fixing force of the pressure clasp teeth, and the strap is likely to be accidentally released during use, which is a potential safety hazard. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENT

[0035] In order to clarify the purpose, technical solutions and beneficial effects of the embodiments of the present invention, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention will be described clearly and completely in the following description with reference to the figures of the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, instead of all the embodiments. Based on the embodiments of the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those skilled in the art without creative work should be included within the scope of the present invention.

[0036] The orientations in the present embodiment are all described with respect to the pressure clasp which is placed horizontally.

[0037] Referring to Figures 1 to 11, the present embodiment provides a pressure clasp which may be made of steel or plastic, or various other novel materials. It comprises a base and a pressure plate, the base and the pressure plate are preferably made in one piece. The base comprises a seat 1, one end of the seat 1 is fixedly connected to a first end of a strap 15, the other end of the seat 1 is provided with a first hole 2 for passing a second end of the strap; the two sides of the seat 1 are each provided with a lateral connecting portion 3, and the lateral connecting portions 3 are each provided with a second hole 4.

[0038] The pressure plate comprises a pressure portion 5, the pressure portion 5 is connected to a rotating portion 6, the rotating portion 6 is connected to a locking portion 7, the locking portion 7 is provided with locking teeth 8 at the end of the locking portion 7; both sides of the rotating portion 6 are each provided with a rotating shaft 9, and the rotating shafts 9 are restricted to rotate respectively within the second holes 4.

[0039] A torsion spring 10 is connected between the seat 1 and the pressure portion 5, the seat 1 and the pressure portion 5 are each provided with a stop restricting the two force arms of the torsion spring 10, the locking teeth 8 bear against the seat 1 under the action of the torsion spring when the pressure portion 5 is not subjected to a pressing force, thereby locking the second end of the strap passing through the second hole 2 on the seat 1. When the pressure portion 5 is subjected to a downward pressing force, the rotating shaft rotates in the second hole and the locking portion is forced to move upward, the locking teeth are then disengaged from the base to adjust the strap.

[0040] In the present embodiment, the pressure clasp comprises only three components, namely the base, the pressure plate and the torsion spring, thereby forming a simple structure and reducing the production cost. The base, the pressure plate and the torsion spring are firmly connected to each other, so that the strap can be firmly locked on the base under the action of the force of the torsion spring, thereby improving the locking force and safety in use.

[0041] Referring to [Fig.9], in a preferred solution, the rotating portion 6 is raised upwards relative to the locking portion 7 and the pressing portion 5 is raised upwards relative to the rotating portion 6, respectively. In order to make the pressing portion more ergonomic and easier to handle, the end of the pressing portion 5 is in the form of a downwardly curved arc of a circle.

[0042] In a preferred solution, with reference to Figures 3 and 10, the two force arms of the torsion spring 10 are oriented simultaneously towards one of the lateral connection portions 3.

[0043] In an illustrative solution, the seat 1 is provided with a first stop 11, an angle between the side of the first stop 11 facing the torsion spring 10 and the seat 1 not exceeding 90°, and one of the force arms of the torsion spring 10 is restricted in a space formed by the seat 1 and the first stop 11.

[0044] In an illustrative solution, with reference to [Fig.9], the lower surface of the pressing portion 5 is provided with a second stop 12, the second stop 12 extends toward the seat 1, and the other force arm of the torsion spring 10 is restricted in a space formed by the lower surface of the pressing portion 5 and the second stop 12. The first stop and the second stop work together in both directions to limit the torsion spring, prevent the torsion spring from disengaging from the structure, improve the strength of the combination between the different structures of the pressing clasp, and better play a locking role.

[0045] In a preferred solution, the outer side of the first hole 2 is provided with a strap adjustment portion 13 projecting upwards and having a curved surface, and the second end of the strap is overlapped on the strap adjustment portion 13 after passing through the first hole 2. The length of the strap can be adjusted when the locking teeth are moved away from the base in applying force to the pressure portion. The surface of the strap adjustment portion has a circular arc shape, the strap can be adjusted by pressing the strap directly against the surface and pulling the strap with a small force.

[0046] In a preferred solution, the locking teeth 8 are oriented downwards, the locking teeth 8 fall inside the first hole 2 when the pressure portion 5 is not subjected to a pressure force, and at least part of the outer wall of the locking portion 7 bears against the wall of the first hole 2. When the locking teeth are oriented downwards, a force perpendicular to the strap can be applied to the latter, so that it is less likely to come loose or slip, which allows the strap to be used for securing heavier goods.

[0047] In a preferred solution, one end of the seat 1 is provided with a third hole 14, the first end of the strap is fixed to the body of the strap after passing through the third hole 14. Optionally, the pressure clasp of the present embodiment may also be provided with a hole ring 16 through which the strap passes, and the strap may be arranged by sliding the hole ring over the strap.

[0048] A tensile test is carried out on the strap after tightening the pressure clasp of the present embodiment, and the results are shown in the table below and in Figures 12 to 13. Sample number Maximum force / N Strain at maximum force / mm Maximum strain / mm At Total elongation % Elongation at maximum force % 1 2806.9 80.262 80.43 80.4 80 2 2581.4 65.022 65.36 65.4 65

[0049] According to the above results, the strap, after being tightened using the pressure clasp of the present embodiment, can withstand a maximum tensile force of 2806.9 N, indicating that the pressure clasp of the present embodiment is capable of providing improved locking force and security.

[0050] The embodiments described above are only illustrative descriptions of the present invention and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention. Any variations and improvements made by those skilled in the art based on the technical solutions of the present invention should be included within the scope of the present invention.
