Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Improved liner swimming pool technical field
[0001] The present invention relates to the technical sector of swimming pools and more particularly concerns water pumping systems for swimming pools.
[0002] An advantageous application of the present invention lies in swimming pools equipped with a liner, without this being limiting. Previous art
[0003] It is known from the prior art of swimming pools having a basin intended to contain water and comprising a bottom wall, equipped with a filtration system to suck up the water and pump the filtered water back into the basin.
[0004] The filtration quality of a swimming pool can always be improved, in particular to avoid the deposit of plant debris, algae, organic waste or various impurities at the bottom of the pool.
[0005] This deposit of impurities represents a certain danger to users, as the water quality is compromised. Indeed, this deposit can cause the proliferation of bacteria or algae, making the water unsuitable for swimming.
[0006] In the prior art, it is known to use robotic cleaners submerged in swimming pools in order to clean any residues or waste accumulated at the bottom of the pools.
[0007] The use of these robots, although conventional, presents certain inconveniences for the comfort of pool users, and are subject to malfunctions or breakdowns, involving substantial repair or replacement costs.
[0008] There are also, in a conventional manner, swimming pool filtration systems comprising several components, such as a skimmer acting as a pre-filter for the largest debris; and a more complete filter downstream for the remaining impurities, these two elements being connected to a pump for returning the filtered water to the pool. This filtration system, although essential, can be refined and improved since its primary purpose is to filter surface debris and impurities, while the impurities at the bottom of the pool remain stagnant.
[0009] Thus, prior art devices have drawbacks and / or shortcomings in that they do not prevent the accumulation of impurities at the bottom of swimming pool basins. Based on this observation, there is a need to optimize and improve swimming pool cleaning to prevent any accumulation of waste at the bottom of the pools, which can lead to bacterial growth, fouling, and a degraded visual appearance of the pool. Description of the invention
[0010] One of the aims of the invention is therefore to remedy the problems of the prior art by proposing an improved swimming pool to avoid the accumulation of waste at the bottom of the pool, and to optimize the operation of the filtration system.
[0011] To this end, a swimming pool comprising: has been developed - a basin intended to contain water, and comprising a bottom wall; and - a filtration system with water suction and pumping of filtered water into the basin.
[0012] The swimming pool according to the invention is remarkable in that it comprises: - an additional bottom wall covering the bottom wall of the basin and provided with a plurality of perforations regularly distributed over the surface of the additional bottom wall, said additional bottom wall being secured to the bottom wall at least with the peripheral edge of the additional bottom wall so as to leave a space for water circulation between the two walls, and - means of pumping all or part of the filtered water between the bottom wall and the additional bottom wall.
[0013] In this way, the backflow of filtered water between the bottom wall and the additional bottom wall prevents impurities from settling at the bottom of the pool. The filtered water is forced out under pressure through the perforations in the additional wall, resulting in a constant flow of filtered water from the bottom to the surface and pushing back any impurities that might settle at the bottom of the pool. These pushed-back impurities can then be drawn in by the filtration system, thereby optimizing the removal of impurities from the pool basin.
[0014] The invention can be fully applied to a swimming pool comprising a basin formed of a rigid shell well known to those skilled in the art. In this case, an additional perforated wall, flexible or rigid, is attached to the bottom wall to form a double bottom from which all or part of the water from the conventional filtration system is pumped.
[0015] According to a preferred embodiment, the bottom wall and the additional bottom wall form parts of a liner, to adapt to a greater number of pools, including modular and above-ground pools.
[0016] Preferably, the additional bottom wall is also bonded to the bottom wall in a plurality of secondary bonding zones, in order to prevent the additional bottom wall from forming a dome when the filtered water flows between the two walls
[0017] The additional bottom wall is joined to the bottom wall, for example by means of glue or welds, for the purpose of simplifying construction.
[0018] The perforations must not be too large to avoid loss of flow rate or creating openings through which impurities could enter, nor too small to avoid straining the filtration system and / or damaging the liner. For example, the perforations have an area between 1 mm² and 3 mm², for example 2 mm².
[0019] Preferably, the pool also includes air injection means, associated with the discharge means to allow oxygenation of the water contained in the pool basin to limit the proliferation of algae and to avoid the use of chemicals. Brief description of the drawings

[0024] [Fig.5] is a view similar to [Fig.3], according to another embodiment. Detailed description of the invention
[0025] With reference to Figures 1 to 5, the invention relates to a swimming pool (1) comprising a basin for containing water, having a bottom wall (2) with a liner (8); and a filtration system (3) with water intake and discharge of filtered water into the basin. This bottom wall (2) is an integral part of the liner (8) covering at least the entire internal surface of the basin structure (9).
[0026] The bottom wall (2) is also covered by an additional bottom wall (4) which is present in the liner (8). This additional bottom wall (4) comprises a plurality of perforations (5) regularly distributed over the surface of the additional bottom wall (4), said additional bottom wall (4) being joined to the bottom wall (2) at least with the peripheral edge of the additional bottom wall (4), forming a main joining zone (10), so as to leave a space for water circulation (6) between the two walls (2, 4), the joining being achieved by welding or by gluing.
[0027] The liner (8) of the swimming pool (1) is conventional and well known to those skilled in the art. It is, for example, made of PVC or PVC-based material, with a thickness between 0.2mm and 1.5mm.
[0028] The perforations (5) of the additional bottom wall (4) have an area between 1mm2 and 3mm2.
[0029] According to Figures 1 and 2, the filtration system (3) comprises a first suction nozzle (11) fitted to a side wall of the pool (1), which is connected by a first conduit (12) to a filter (13). This filter (13) will discharge a portion of the water filtered in the basin, by means of a second conduit (14) and a discharge nozzle (15), and the remainder of the filtered water will be brought into the water circulation space (6) between the two walls, by means of a third conduit (16) diverting part of the filtered water flow and discharge means (17), for example in the form of a nozzle.
[0030] These discharge means (17) can be associated with air injection means (18) for oxygenating the basin. The air injection means can be in the form of a venturi system or an aerator, well known to those skilled in the art.
[0031] With reference to Figures 3 to 5, the additional bottom wall (4) is joined to the bottom wall (2) in a first main joining zone (10), as illustrated in [Fig. 3], and according to other preferred forms illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, in a plurality of secondary joining zones (19). The main joining zone (10) and the secondary joining zones (19) are formed by welding or bonding.
[0032] With reference to Figures 1 and 3, the additional bottom wall (4) is secured to the bottom wall (2) at least with the peripheral edge of the additional bottom wall (4), forming the main bonding zone (10), so as to leave a water circulation space (6) for the remaining filtered water conveyed by the discharge means (17). This filtered water, after spreading through this water circulation space (6), will be discharged into the pool by means of the perforations (5) regularly distributed in the additional bottom wall (4), lifting any impurities deposited at the bottom of the pool and bringing them to the surface so that they can be filtered by the filtration system (3) and creating a regular flow of water from the bottom of the pool (1) to the surface to prevent the deposition of other impurities.
[0033] With reference to Figures 2 and 4, a preferred embodiment is illustrated in which the additional bottom wall (4) includes secondary bonding zones (19) in the form of bonding points (20), formed by welding or bonding, preferably distributed regularly. These bonding points (20) make it possible to keep a portion of the additional bottom wall (4) bonded to the bottom wall (2), in order to prevent the formation of a dome and to maintain a certain pressure of the filtered water in the water circulation space (6).
[0034] According to another preferred embodiment, illustrated in [Fig.5], the secondary bonding zones (19) are in the form of bonding lines (21), for a result equivalent to the embodiment providing for bonding points (20).
