Abstract

COACERVAT CLEANSING COMPOSITION The disclosure relates to compositions comprising (a) at least one amphoteric surfactant, (b) at least one glycolipid, (c) at least one cationic polymer at a concentration of approximately 0.05% to approximately 2%; and (d) at least one cosmetically acceptable solvent in which the cleansing system is substantially free of phenoxyethanol, and in which the pH of the composition is between 4 and 8, and in which the ratio of a to b is approximately 0.4 to approximately 4, and in which the combined concentration of a and b is approximately 10% to approximately 20% of the total weight of the composition. The compositions may be used as rinse-off compositions for cleansing the skin. Figure for the abstract: none
