Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Side conveyor for motocross bikes. FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present innovation relates to a side conveyor for motorcycles.
[0002] DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR TECHNIQUE
[0003] As is known, the side conveyor of a motorcycle is a side panel, generally placed in correspondence with the tank, which guarantees protection of the internal mechanics by allowing the passage of air for the cooling circuit.
[0004] Document DE202022106953 describes a side panel having an elongated, shell-shaped central element extending towards two opposite faces. On the first face, which is generally the upper face, there is a cavity having two obtuse angles with respect to that face. These angles serve to reduce the probability of a conductor getting caught in it and falling.
[0005] However, this solution involves an opening at one point in the conduit which, especially in the case of motocross bikes, can be exposed to a lot of dirt, thus reducing the protection provided by the conveyor itself. Summary of the invention
[0006] The present innovation therefore aims to provide a motorcycle side panel which reduces the entry of dirt into the upper part compared to the prior art.
[0007] Another feature of the present innovation is to provide a motorcycle side panel that has good structural strength.
[0008] These and other goals are achieved by means of a motorcycle side panel comprising:
[0009] - a main body comprising:
[0010] - a first edge which, during use, is located in an upper part of said main body, said first edge comprising a cavity extending between a point A and a point B of said first edge;
[0011] - a second edge which, during use, is located in a lower part of said main body;
[0012] whose main characteristic is that a laminar element extending between said point A and said point B of the first edge is provided in correspondence with said cavity, in order to fill said cavity.
[0013] In particular, said cavity comprises a first face and a second face, said second face extending between said first face and said point A of said first edge, said first edge and said second face defining an internal angle θ less than 90°. Brief description of the drawings
[0014] The innovation will now be illustrated with the following description of its embodiments, given by way of example and not limitation, with reference to the attached drawings in which:
[0015] - [Fig. 1] illustrates one embodiment given as a possible example of the panel motorcycle side, according to the present innovation;
[0016] - [Fig.2] illustrates another view of the embodiment given as an example of the motorcycle side panel of [Fig.l];
[0017] - Fig. 2A illustrates a detail of [Fig. 2] where the cavity and the laminar element are visible.
[0018] DESCRIPTION OF CERTAIN PREFERRED EXAMPLE IMPLEMENTATIONS
[0019] With reference to [Fig.1], 2 and 2A, a motorcycle side panel 100, according to the present innovation, comprises a main body 110 including a first edge 115 and a second edge 116. In particular, the first edge 115 is located, during use, in the upper part of the main body 110, i.e. near the handlebar of the movement.
[0020] More particularly, the first edge 115 includes a cavity 118 which extends between a point A and a point B of the first edge 115. This cavity 118 includes a first face 118' and a second face 118”. The second face 118” extends between point A of the first edge 115 and the first face 118' of the cavity 118.
[0021] Advantageously, at the level of the cavity 118, a laminar element 119 is provided which extends between point A and point B of the first edge 115, in order to fill the cavity 118.
[0022] In this way, the present innovation makes it possible to prevent dirt or debris in general from passing beyond the side panel 100 and entering the internal mechanics of the motorcycle.
[0023] Advantageously, the first face 118' and the second face 118” of the cavity 118 define an internal angle 0 less than 90°.
[0024] In this way, the present innovation offers better structural resistance to the laminar element 119, thus reducing the probability of breakage.
[0025] In the preceding description, specific embodiments given by way of example can illustrate the innovation from a conceptual point of view so that the other, by applying current knowledge, can modify and / or The specific embodiments given by way of example may be adapted to various applications without further research and without departing from the invention. Consequently, it is understood that such adaptations and modifications shall be considered equivalent to the specific embodiments. The means and materials for providing the various functions described may be changes in nature without falling outside the scope of the innovation. It should be understood that the phraseology or terminology used here is for descriptive purposes and not for limiting.
