Abstract

A body shroud for transport and placement using a specific machine, consisting of a body (1) made from a single rectangular piece folded in the center, a zipper (2) for access, and four sufficiently strong slings (4) on the lower part that pass through eight loops. The body (1) and the eight loops are made of biodegradable plastic. The slings (4) are made of poly-cotton fabric to give them the appropriate volume. The upper and lower closures of the body (1) are heat-sealed (3), eliminating the need for seams and ensuring a watertight seal, all within the appropriate dimensions for the machine that will use it. Description

Title of the invention: BODY SHROUD FOR THEIR TRANSPORT AND INSTALLATION USING A SPECIFIC MACHINE Object of the invention

[0001] The object of the present invention relates to a shroud for corpses for their transport and placement using a specific machine.

[0002] The invention also aims to provide high resistance, enabling it to support and maintain bodies without risk of breakage and thus making it safe, economical and adaptable to use.

[0003] All of the above on the basis of the fact that it is specifically used and designed to be used with the machine for lifting, transferring and depositing corpses and their positioning on the autopsy table or in the coffin itself. State of the art of the invention

[0004] The practical application of the invention is the need of funeral home clients, who must handle corpses on their premises, to be able to do so hygienically and safely once they arrive at the morgue, so that the staff do not have to move the corpses manually to their positioning, as already indicated, on the autopsy table or in the coffin. Description of the invention

[0005] The body shroud for transporting and placing the bodies using a specific machine, which is recommended, fully meets the needs of funeral homes and forensic services that handle bodies for inspection or preparation prior to burial, with the risks of contagion by contact, and the physical effort required for the activity described above, based on a simple but effective solution.

[0006] It consists of a body obtained from a single rectangular pattern folded in its center, as well as a zipper through which access is made and 4 sufficiently strong slings on the lower part which pass through 8 loops.

[0007] The body and the 8 loops are made of biodegradable, tensile-resistant and flexible plastic and the slings are made of poly-cotton fabric (90% polyester and 10% cotton) so that the parts involved in them give them the corresponding volume.

[0008] The zipper extends along the entire length of the body, and the buckles and the upper and lower closures of the body are heat-sealed, which prevents the use of seams, and thus ensuring the seal and all this with the appropriate dimensions of the machine that will use it.

[0009] From this, we obtain the shroud for the corpses for their transport and placement using a specific machine with the following advantages:

[0010] • A waterproof, airtight element is obtained which may be biodegradable, and / or compostable.

[0011] • The device, despite its lightness, exhibits sufficient resistance to fulfill its support function, without risk of breakage and in complete safety.

[0012] • It guarantees the sealing of its contents.

[0013] • It has extremely low manufacturing, transport and storage costs weak.

[0014] • It meets the required needs Description of the figures

[0015] To supplement the description which will be given below and with the aim of facilitating a better understanding of the characteristics of the invention, according to a preferred example of a practical embodiment thereof, a set of plans and photographs is attached as an integral part of said description in which, by way of illustration and not limitation, the following has been shown:

[0016] Fig. 1. - It shows a superior perspective view made in accordance with the object of the present invention.

[0017] The [Fig.2].- It shows a view in inferior perspective.

[0018] Fig. 3 shows a detail of the slings and their passage through the loops.

[0019] [Fig. 4]. It shows the body (1) suspended by the slings (4) on the machine of lifting (6). Preferred realization of the invention

[0020] In view of the figures cited above, it can be seen that the body shroud for transporting and placing the body using a specific machine, which is the subject of the invention, consists of a body (1), essentially rectangular, open in the center by means of a zipper (2) with 2 pull tabs and made of bioplastic, so that the parts which make up the shroud are easily industrialized by means of making patterns on the rolls of bioplastic, a unique model being defined, which is folded towards the center to house the zipper, and the top and bottom parts are heat-sealed to form the body shroud for transporting and placing the body using a specific machine.

[0021] The loops (5) are heat-sealed and the slings (4) are inserted and sewn.

[0022] The aforementioned motifs are joined by heat sealing (3), the zipper (2) being, which is also joined by heat sealing, of a waterproof and watertight type, thus ensuring watertightness and preventing contamination in both directions.

[0023] All for their use in the lifting machine (6).

[0024] The thickness of the main body should be on the order of 0.14 millimeters.

[0025] The heat-welding connections are made in an efficient, simple and machined manner, which guarantees uniform connections, without folds or discontinuities affecting its sealing.
