[0002] The development of cosmetic products is continuous. Preservatives are essential in cosmetic products to inhibit microbiology. The main types of contamination induced by microbiology are molds and bacteria. Current mask preservatives are mainly based on SymSave H (4'-hydroxyacetophenone) technology. SymSave H (4'-hydroxyacetophenone) is a good, very mild antioxidant agent, which has been shown to be a good inhibitor for Aspergillus Niger (mold), but weak for Enterococcus faecalis (bacteria).

Claims
Claims
1. Composition, preferably for caring for keratinous materials, comprising: (i) at least 0.01% by weight of sphingomonas ferment extract, relative to the total weight of the composition; (ii) at least one hydroxylated carboxylate; and (iii) at least one compound A chosen from beta-hydroxy acids and their derivatives.
2. A composition according to claim 1, wherein the Sphingomonas ferment extract is present in an amount ranging from 0.01% by weight to 10% by weight, preferably from 0.015% by weight to 5% by weight, more preferably from 0.015% by weight to 1% by weight, even more preferably from 0.02% by weight to 0.5% by weight, and most preferably from 0.025% by weight to 0.2% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition.

A composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the hydroxylated carboxylate is selected from hydroxylated tricarboxylate, hydroxylated dicarboxylate, hydroxylated monocarboxylate, dihydroxylated tricarboxylate, dihydroxylated dicarboxylate, dihydroxylated monocarboxylate and a combination thereof, preferably selected from citrate, lactate, malate, tartrate and a combination thereof, more preferably selected from sodium citrate, potassium citrate, lithium citrate and a combination thereof.

Composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, in which compound A is chosen from salicylic acid and its derivatives of formula (I): O x CM ® in which - M is chosen from hydrogen, sodium and potassium; - R is hydrogen or a C6-C18 acyl, preferably, in formula (I), M is selected from hydrogen, sodium and potassium, and R is hydrogen or a linear C6-C16 acyl.
5. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein the mass ratio of hydroxylated carboxylate to Sphingomonas ferment extract in the composition is from 80:1 to 4:1, preferably from 60:1 to 6:1, more preferably from 50:1 to 8:1, even more preferably from 35:1 to 10:

6. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 5, which is oil-free.
7. A composition according to any one of claims 1 to 6, which is in hydrogel form.

A composition according to claim 1, which is in the form of a hydrogel comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition: (i) from 0.02% by weight to 0.5% by weight of Sphingomonas ferment extract; (ii) from 0.5% by weight to 4% by weight of at least one hydroxylated carboxylate selected from sodium citrate, potassium citrate, lithium citrate and a combination thereof; and (iii) from 0.05% by weight to 0.3% by weight of at least one compound A selected from salicylic acid, sodium salicylate, potassium salicylate and a combination thereof.
9. Mask, preferably for the care of keratinous materials, comprising: A) a cotton fabric for mask; and B) the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 8 on the cotton fabric for mask.
10. Non-therapeutic method for caring for keratinous materials, comprising the application of the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 8 or of the mask according to claim 9 to the keratinous materials.
