Motor vehicle towing arrangement

Abstract

The invention relates to a towing arrangement for a motor vehicle, the towing arrangement comprising two side rails (11) extending along a longitudinal axis (X), a rear cross member extending along a transverse axis (Y), the rear cross member being integral with a free rear end of the side rails (11), a tow hook extending behind the rear cross member, the tow hook being integral with a mounting arm extending into one of the side rails (11), the mounting arm being integrally fixed to the side rail (11) and the rear cross member. According to the invention, the towing arrangement also comprises a reinforcing bracket (14) integrally fixed to the side rail (11) and the rear cross member, the mounting arm of the tow hook being integral with the reinforcing bracket (14). Claims

fixing (17) of the lateral longitudinal member (11) against the rear cross member (12), the support tab (142) of the reinforcement bracket (14) being placed against the fixing plate (17).

7. Towing arrangement (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the reinforcing bracket (14) has a flap (144) against a lower panel (16) of the motor vehicle (2).

8. Towing arrangement (1) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the reinforcing bracket (14) is formed by a stamped metal sheet.

9. Towing arrangement (1) according to the preceding claim, wherein the metal sheet has a thickness greater than 2 mm, preferably between 3 mm and 6 mm, preferably equal to 5 mm.

10. Motor vehicle (2) comprising a towing arrangement (1) according to any one of the preceding claims.
