Hydrogel for the formulation of a cosmetic composition essentially consisting of: - 40% to 60% natural glycerin and 0.5% to 1% of at least one carbomer, the natural glycerin and the carbomer preferably forming a crosslinked glycerin poly(meth)acrylate; - 2% to 10% natural caprylyl glycol; - 10% to 20% of at least one natural polyol, other than glycerin, comprising 3 to 6 carbon atoms; and - water, the percentages being expressed by mass relative to the mass of the hydrogel.
2. Hydrogel according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises from 10% to 20% of at least two natural polyols including natural propanediol and natural sorbitol.
3. Hydrogel according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that it comprises from 5% to 7% dimethyl isosorbide.

A cosmetic skincare composition according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the cosmetic ingredient having an active ingredient function is selected from the group consisting of a moisturizing agent, an anti-aging agent, an anti-itch soothing agent, a sunburn soothing agent, an anti-redness agent, a hair growth stimulating agent, a skin firming agent, a skin brightening agent and an agent for reducing spots due to prolonged sun exposure and / or due to aging, such as age spots.
