Abstract

A mixture comprising beta ionone, alpha ionone, cedrol, hexanal, and C10 aldehyde, and its use for masking unpleasant odors. The invention relates to an odor-masking mixture comprising 35% beta ionone, 30% alpha ionone, 30% cedrol, 4% hexanal, and 1% C10 aldehyde, the percentages being by weight of the total weight of the mixture. The invention also relates to a perfumed composition comprising the mixture as described above. The mixture and the perfumed composition are used to mask unpleasant odors, whether body odor, environmental odor, or odors emanating from an enclosed space, while being natural and free of allergenic substances.
