Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Vaporizer for a fragrant composition and associated kit
[0001] The present invention relates to a vaporization assembly for an odorant composition, in particular an odorant solution and a kit comprising such an assembly.
[0002] The present invention relates to the vaporization of a composition, in particular an odorant solution, using an actuation device for a vaporizer of such an odorant composition. The odorant composition may, for example, be a perfume or a deodorant.
[0003] In particular, the present invention relates to facilitating the actuation of a vaporizer for persons with reduced mobility who cannot perform a pressure gesture on said vaporizer.
[0004] In general, the invention applies to any spray of an odorant composition such as is commonly found in the trade.
[0005] Devices for conditioning and applying cosmetic products such as odorous compositions, namely perfumes or deodorants, are generally sprayers.
[0006] A vaporizer for an odorous composition, in particular an odorous solution, usually comprises a storage container for the composition, and a spray head mounted on the storage container and movable between a position for dispensing the composition and a rest position.
[0007] Such a commercially available sprayer is generally used by manually pressing the spray head to move it from its resting position to its dispensing position. This pressing is done, for example, by applying force with the index finger or thumb.
[0008] However, such a movement is sometimes not feasible for certain people with reduced mobility who, due to an accident or illness, can no longer perform it and, consequently, cannot use scented sprays. Such disabilities arise, for example, from spasticity, tremors, loss of an upper limb, or loss of strength.
[0009] The production of vaporizer packaging specific to each particular morphology could be a solution to allow the use of vaporizers by people with reduced mobility but is difficult to envisage on a large scale and would involve significant production costs.
[0010] Furthermore, people with reduced mobility, facing issues of inclusion and ease of purchase, are looking for solutions that will allow them to use the same cosmetic products packaged as for people with full mobility.
[0011] The object of the invention is to overcome these disadvantages and to provide a device enabling the actuation of a vaporizer of odorous composition, in particular of odorous solution, commonly found in the trade by a person with reduced mobility.
[0012] To this end, the invention relates to a vaporization system for an odorous composition, in particular a perfume or a deodorant, comprising:
[0013] a. a vaporizer comprising a storage container for the composition, and a spray head mounted on the storage container and movable between a composition dispensing position and a rest position, and
[0014] b. an actuation device mounted on the vaporizer and comprising a movable actuation arm that rotates between an active actuation position of the vaporizer spray head and an inactive position, the actuation arm comprising a bearing surface configured such that the pressure of a part of the head, in particular the chin, of a user on said bearing surface causes the actuation arm to move from the inactive position to the active position.
[0015] Such an actuation device allows the user to perform the pressure movement on the spray head using a part of his head, for example his chin, thus simplifying use for a person with reduced mobility.
[0016] According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the vaporization assembly comprises one or more of the following features, taken individually or in any technically possible combination:
[0017] - The actuating arm of the actuating device further includes a pin extending outward from the actuating arm, the pin is configured to move the spray head from its rest position to its dispensing position when the actuating arm moves from its inactive position to its active position.
[0018] - The actuation device further comprises a support plate suitable for being elastically deformed under the pressure exerted by the stud, the support sole being in contact with the spray head of the vaporizer.
[0019] - The actuation device further includes a mounted retaining support on the vaporizer, the operating arm is fixed to the support bracket by a hinge.
[0020] - The actuating arm is mobile in rotation between its inactive position and a storage position, in which the support surface extends against the storage container.
[0021] The invention also relates to a kit comprising:
[0022] - a vaporization assembly as described above,
[0023] - a fastening system attached to the storage container and defining a housing, and
[0024] - a grasping member of the vaporization assembly, the grasping member comprising a body and an insertion head extending from the body so as to be able to be inserted into the housing of the fastening system,
[0025] the fastening system comprising a locking mechanism for the insertion head of the gripping member in the housing.
[0026] According to other advantageous aspects of the invention, the kit comprises one or more of the following features, taken individually or in all technically possible combinations:
[0027] - The body of the grasping organ is a ring suitable for being worn on a finger of the user.
[0028] - The locking mechanism is movable between a locked position of the head insertion of the grasping organ into the housing and an unlocked position by a rotational movement of the grasping organ received in the housing.
[0029] - The kit also includes a storage box defining a volume of storage suitable for holding the entire vaporizer set.
[0030] - The box is movable between an open position and a closed position of the volume storage, the box including at least one sensor for detecting the gripping element and a mechanism capable of moving the box from the closed position to the open position in response to the detection of the gripping element.
[0031] The invention will become clearer upon reading the following description, given solely by way of non-limiting example, and made with reference to the drawings in which:
[0032] [Fig-1] [Fig. 1] is a schematic view of a kit according to a particular embodiment of the invention;
[0033] [Fig.2] [Fig.3] Figures 2 and 3 are schematic views of a vaporization assembly according to a particular embodiment of the invention, the actuation arm of the actuation device being in the inactive position ([Fig.2]) or in the active position ([Fig.3]);
[0034] [Fig.4] [Fig.5] Figures 4 and 5 are schematic views of a kit according to another embodiment of the invention, the gripping member being fixed on the vaporization assembly, and the actuation arm of the actuation device being in the inactive position ([Fig.4]) or in the storage position ([Fig.5]).
[0035] Fig. 1 illustrates a kit 10 according to the invention.
[0036] The kit 10 includes a vaporization assembly 12, a fastening system 14 and a gripping member 16.
[0037] In the particular embodiment illustrated in [Fig.1], the kit 10 further includes a storage case 18.
[0038] The vaporization assembly 12 is, in particular, configured to vaporize an odorant composition, in particular an odorant solution, including a perfume or a deodorant.
[0039] As illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, the vaporization assembly 12 comprises a vaporizer 20 and an actuation device 22.
[0040] The illustrated spray bottle 20 is, for example, intended to contain and spray a perfume or a deodorant.
[0041] In particular, the vaporizer 20 includes a container 24 for storing the odorant composition and a spray head 26 mounted on the storage container 24 and movable between a position for distributing the odorant composition and a rest position.
[0042] In the particular embodiments illustrated, the storage container 24 is for example substantially cylindrical in shape along a principal axis XX between a bottom 28 and an opening 30. The storage container 24 preferably includes the odorant composition, which is for example a liquid odorant solution.
[0043] The spray head 26 closes, for example, the opening 30.
[0044] For example, the spray head 26 is movable in translation along the main axis XX between its position of distribution of the odorant composition and its rest position.
[0045] As can be seen in Figures 2 and 3, the actuation device 22 is mounted on the vaporizer 20.
[0046] The actuation device 22 includes an actuation arm 32, and preferably also a retaining support 34.
[0047] Preferably, the actuation device further includes a support plate 35.
[0048] As can be seen in the Figures, the support base 35 is in contact with the spray head 26 of the sprayer 20.
[0049] The actuation device 22 is preferably made of plastic.
[0050] As can be seen in the Figures, the retaining support 34 is mounted on the vaporizer 20.
[0051] In particular, the retaining support 34 includes at least one fixing ring 36 mounted on the storage container 24, in particular near the spray head 26.
[0052] In the particular embodiment illustrated in the Figures, the retaining support 34 also includes an annular-shaped guide ring 37.
[0053] The actuating arm 32 is for example fixed to the retaining support 34 by a hinge 38, said hinge 38 extends for example along a secondary axis YY perpendicular to the main axis XX.
[0054] The actuating arm 32 extends in particular between a first end 40 and a second free end 42, the first end 40 being for example fixed to the hinge 38.
[0055] The actuating arm 32 includes a bearing surface 44, in particular on the external surface of its second free end 42.
[0056] The support surface 44 is configured so that a part of a user's head 47, and in particular their chin 48, can press on it.
[0057] The actuating arm 32 further includes a pin 46 extending outward from the actuating arm 32, in particular near the first end 40.
[0058] The actuating arm 32 is mobile in rotation, in particular with respect to the vaporizer 20, especially around the secondary axis YY.
[0059] The actuating arm 32 is mobile in rotation between an active actuating position of the spray head 26 of the vaporizer 20 illustrated in [Fig.3] and an inactive position illustrated in Figures 2 and 4.
[0060] As illustrated in Figures 2 and 3, the mobility from the inactive position to the active position is driven by pressure on the support surface 44, in particular by a part of the user's head 47, and in particular his chin 48.
[0061] In the inactive position illustrated in Figures 2 and 4, the actuating arm 32 extends, preferably, so that the bearing surface 44 is oriented upwards.
[0062] More specifically, in this inactive position, the actuating arm 32 extends so as to define an angle between 70° and 85° with the main axis XX.
[0063] In particular, in this inactive position, the pin 44 extends along the main axis XX. As can be seen in [Fig.4], the pin 44 is, for example, in contact with the support plate 35, and preferably is inserted into the guide ring 37.
[0064] In the inactive position of the actuating arm 32, the spray head 26 is in its rest position.
[0065] During rotation from the inactive position to the active position illustrated in [Fig.3], the spray head 26 is moved from its rest position to its distribution position.
[0066] In the active position illustrated in [Fig.3], the actuating arm 32 extends, for example, substantially perpendicular to the main axis XX and to the secondary axis YY.
[0067] In the active position of the actuating arm 32, the spray head 26 is in its distribution position.
[0068] In particular, during the rotation of the actuating arm 32 from the inactive position to the active position, the pin 46 is moved so as to move the spray head 26 from its rest position to its distribution position.
[0069] More specifically, in the active position, the pin 46 presses on the support base 35, which deforms elastically and thus presses on the spray head 26 so as to move it into its distribution position.
[0070] The active position of the actuating arm 32 is in particular an unstable position, that is to say maintained only when a support is exerted on the support surface 44 of the actuating arm 32.
[0071] In other words, in the absence of pressure on the support surface 44, the actuating arm 32 passes without external actions from its active position to its inactive position, in particular so as to move the spray head 26 into its rest position and thus stop the vaporization of the odorous composition.
[0072] Advantageously, the actuating arm 32 is also rotationally mobile, in particular around the secondary axis YY, between its inactive position and a storage position illustrated in [Fig.5].
[0073] As illustrated in Figures 4 and 5, the rotation from the inactive position to the storage position is for example carried out in a second direction of rotation S2 opposite to the first direction of rotation SI of passage from the inactive position to the active position.
[0074] In the storage position illustrated in [Fig.5], the bearing surface 44 of the actuating arm 32 extends for example against the storage container 24 of the vaporizer 20.
[0075] In particular, in the storage position, the actuating arm 32 extends substantially parallel to the main axis XX.
[0076] As can be seen in [Fig.1], the grasping organ 16 comprises a body 50 and an insertion head 52 extending from the body 50.
[0077] The body 50 is preferably a ring suitable for wearing on a finger of the user 47.
[0078] The body 50 is for example made of a precious metal.
[0079] The insertion head 52 is for example a ring head, also called a chaton.
[0080] The insertion head 52, for example, has a substantially parallelepiped shape.
[0081] As can be seen in Figures 4 and 5, the fastening system 14 is fixed to the storage container 24 of the vaporizer 20, and in particular to the bottom 28 of the storage container 24.
[0082] The fastening system 14 defines a housing 54, in particular configured to receive the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16.
[0083] The fastening system 14 includes a locking mechanism 56 for the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16 in the housing 54.
[0084] Preferably, when the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16 is received and locked in the housing 54 of the fastening system 14 fixed to the vaporizer 20, the user 47 wearing the grasping organ 16 can thus move the vaporization assembly 12.
[0085] More particularly, the locking mechanism 56 is mobile between a locked position of the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16 in the housing 54 and an unlocked position by a rotational movement of the gripping member 16 received in the housing 54, in particular around the main axis XX.
[0086] More specifically, in the locked position, the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16 is locked in position in the housing 54. In the unlocked position, the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16 can be inserted or removed into the housing 54.
[0087] In the illustrated embodiment, the locking mechanism 56 includes a ring 58 defining a fixing iris around the housing 54.
[0088] The ring 58 is for example mobile in rotation relative to the housing 54, in particular around the main axis XX, between a closed position, in which the opening of the fixing iris partially obstructs the housing 54, and an open position, in which the housing 54 is not obstructed by the opening of the fixing iris.
[0089] In particular, in the closed position, the opening of the fixation iris is able to cooperate with the fixation head 52 received in the housing 54 so as to lock the fixation head 52 in the housing 54.
[0090] Preferably, the ring 58 is adapted so that, when the fixing head 52 is received in the housing 54, a rotational movement of the body 50 of the gripping member 16 around the main axis XX causes a rotational movement of the ring 58 around the main axis XX.
[0091] Preferably, the ring 58 also includes a tab 59 adapted to snap into a stop housing so as to lock the ring 58 in its closed position, and thus lock the insertion head 52 in the housing 54.
[0092] The locking mechanism 56 advantageously includes a bearing 60 facilitating the rotation of the ring 58 around the main axis XX.
[0093] Preferably, the locking mechanism 56 also includes a spring 62 capable of moving the ring 58 from its closed position to its open position, in particular without external actions, especially when the lug 59 is not engaged in the stop housing.
[0094] As illustrated in [Fig.1], the storage box 18 defines a storage volume 64 suitable for receiving the vaporization assembly 12.
[0095] As illustrated in [Fig.1], the storage box 18 includes, for example, a support 66 and a cover 68, in particular movable in rotation relative to the support 66.
[0096] In particular, the storage box 18 is for example mobile between an open position and a closed position of the storage volume 64, in particular by the rotation of the cover 68.
[0097] The storage box 18 preferably includes at least one detection sensor 70 for the gripping member 16, in particular configured to detect the presence of the gripping member 16.
[0098] The detection sensor 70 is for example a magnetic sensor capable of detecting the metallic body 50 of the gripping member 16.
[0099] Advantageously, the storage box 18 further includes a mechanism 72 capable of moving the box 18 from the closed position to the open position when the detection sensor 70 detects the gripping member 16.
[0100] An example of a method for using the above kit 10 will now be described.
[0101] A kit 10 as described above is supplied first.
[0102] For example, the vaporization assembly 12 is supplied with the fixing system 14 attached to the storage container 24 of the vaporizer 20.
[0103] In particular, the vaporization assembly 12 is received in the storage volume 64 of the storage case 18, which is notably in the closed position; the actuating arm 32 being preferably in the storage position.
[0104] The user 47 preferably wears the grasping organ 16, in particular on one of his fingers.
[0105] Next, the user 47, for example, brings his hand bearing the gripping organ 16 close to the storage box 18.
[0106] Preferably, the detection sensor 70 detects said gripping member 16 and the opening mechanism 72 moves the case 18 from the closed position to the open position.
[0107] The user 47 then preferably inserts the fastening head 52 of the gripping member into the housing 54 of the fastening system 14 attached to the storage container 24 of the vaporizer 20, the locking mechanism 56 being in the unlocked position.
[0108] For example, the user 47 then rotates the gripping member 16, for example by rotating his hand carrying it, so as to cause the locking mechanism 56 to move from its unlocked position to its locked position, for example by rotating the ring 58 between its open position and its closed position.
[0109] Preferably, the lug 59 of the ring 58 also snaps into a stop housing so as to lock the ring 58 in its closed position, and thus lock the insertion head 52 in the housing 54.
[0110] With the insertion head 52 of the gripping member 16 received and locked in the housing 54 of the fastening system 14 fixed on the vaporizer 20, the user 47 can thus move the vaporization assembly 12.
[0111] In particular, user 47 then moves the vaporizing assembly 12 close to his neck.
[0112] Preferably, during this movement, the user 47 moves the actuation arm 32 from its storage position to its inactive position, in particular by a flick of the wrist causing the rotation from one position to the other.
[0113] Subsequently, the user 47 brings the support surface 44 of the actuating arm 32 close to a part of his head, for example his chin 48.
[0114] After that, the user 47 presses on the support surface 44 using said part of his head, for example his chin 48.
[0115] Such support on the bearing surface 44 of the actuating arm 32 causes the actuating arm 32 to move from its inactive position to its active position of actuating the spray head 26 of the vaporizer 20, passing the spray head 26 into its distribution position, as explained in more detail above.
[0116] Thus, the odorant composition is sprayed into the neck of the user 47.
[0117] Such a kit 10 is particularly advantageous for users 46 with reduced mobility.
[0118] In particular, the actuation device 22 allows the user 47 to perform the pressure movement on the spray head 26 using a part of his head, for example his chin, thus simplifying use for a person with reduced mobility.
[0119] Moreover, said actuation device 22 is easy to manufacture and use for all types of vaporizer 20 commonly used in the trade.
[0120] In addition, the gripping member 16 allows the storage box 18 to be opened and the vaporization assembly 12 to be moved without the need for a gripping movement in the hand, thus also simplifying use for a person with reduced mobility.
