[0036] The third fastening element 12c comprises a fastening key 19 interposed between the reinforcement plate 10 and the support 9. The fastening key 19 is attached to the textile 8 by means of at least one staple or seam and is clipped to the reinforcement plate 10 by complementary shape. The reinforcement plate 10 longitudinally locks the fastening key 19 in the direction X by means of a lip 20. The reinforcement plate 10 is fixed to the support 9 by means of fastening means 21. The fastening means 21 comprise threaded screws 21a adapted to be inserted into holes 21b, 21c located respectively on the support 9 and on the reinforcement plate 10 provided for this purpose.

[0037] The fixing keys 13, 19 can thus be likened to a fixing frame positioned on the perimeter of the textile 8.

[0038] The fastening keys 13, 19 can have different shapes and, for example, be substantially square. In other embodiments not shown, the textile 8 comprises several fastening elements 12a, 12b, 12c on each of its sides and several fastening keys 13, 19 arranged on each of its sides, the keys 13, 19 thus being more compact than a rod.

[0039] The size and shape of the key 13, 19 are adapted according to the shapes and sizes of the textile 8 and the reinforcement plate 10.

[0040] The fastening key 13, 19 advantageously comprises a lightweight and readily producible material. The fastening key 13, 19 comprises, for example, plastic.

[0041] When the fastening members 12a, 12b, 12c are fixed to the textile 8 and to the reinforcement plate 10, the textile 8 is stretched between the upper portion 5 of the lining 4 and the lower portion 6 of the lining 4, that is to say between the curved upper part 10a of the reinforcement plate 10 and the vertical flat part 10c of the reinforcement plate 10, and between the two longitudinal ends of the reinforcement plate 10.

[0042] By way of non-limiting example, the reinforcing plate 10 of the frame 7 corresponds to a door panel. The support 9 of the frame 7 corresponds to the door frame.

[0043] A method for mounting the trim 4 onto the door 2 is now described.

[0044] During a first step, the fastening members 12a, 12b, 12c are fixed onto the textile 8.

[0045] The fixing of the fixing keys 13, 19 on the textile 8 is done by means of at least one stapling or a stitch.

[0046] During a second step, the fastening members 12a, 12b, 12c are fixed to the reinforcement plate 10 of the frame 7. The textile 8 is fixed to the reinforcement plate 10.

[0047] The fixing keys 13, 19 are fixed to the frame 7 by clipping.

[0048] The second fixing member 12b of the textile 8 is fixed to the reinforcement plate 10 by stapling 17, as shown in [Fig.3].

[0049] During a third step, the reinforcing plate 10 comprising the textile 8 is fixed to the support 9 of the frame 7 by means of the fixing means IL. The third step of the process is necessary when the frame 7 comprises one or more reinforcing plates 10. In an embodiment not illustrated, the frame 7 does not include a reinforcing plate 10 and the textile 8 is directly fixed to the support 9 by means of the fixing system of the textile 8.

[0050] During a fourth stretching step of the textile 8, the added piece 16 is assembled onto the reinforcement plate 10 to press the textile 8 against the frame 7 in the concave portion 10b of the reinforcement plate 10 of the frame 7. Of course, this does not depart from the scope of the invention if the trim 4 has a different composition. It is thus possible to design a trim 4 comprising a reinforcement plate 10 that has several concave portions 10b. It is also possible to design a dashboard trim 4 for a motor vehicle.

[0051] In one embodiment of the invention, the stretching step of the textile 8 is carried out prior to the step of fixing the reinforcement plate 10 comprising the textile 8 onto the support 9 of the frame 7.

[0052] The trim 4 for the automotive vehicle 1 component ultimately reduces the weight of the vehicle 1 by eliminating the glue used in standard designs and thus reduces CO2 emissions. It also facilitates the mounting and dismounting of the textile 8 on the frame 7 and allows for customization of said textile 8 according to the user's preferences. Furthermore, the trim 4 as described extends the service life of the automotive vehicle 1 components.
