Title of the invention: Support for fixing a plurality of wiring harnesses Technical field and context

[0001] The present invention relates to a support for fixing a plurality of wiring harnesses in an engine compartment of a vehicle and a vehicle comprising said support.

[0002] For descriptive purposes, reference will be made to a direct orthonormal XYZ coordinate system illustrated in [Fig. 1], commonly used in automotive design. In this XYZ coordinate system, the X-axis designates the front-to-rear longitudinal direction of the vehicle, oriented towards the rear; the Y-axis designates the transverse direction, and is oriented to the right of the vehicle; the Z-axis designates the vertical direction, and is oriented upwards.

It is known to provide a respective support for each wiring harness for the purpose of securing it and for guiding it to the connection points of the electrical device.

Support (100) for securing a plurality of wiring harnesses (W1-W5) in an engine compartment of a vehicle, comprising: - attachment portions (110) for attaching the support (100) against an electrical device (200) in the engine compartment, said attachment portions (110) extending along a first side of the support (100); - fastening portions (121-127) for securing said wiring harnesses (W1-W5) against the support (100); said support (100) being configured to be mounted on the electrical device (200) with said attachment portions (110) abutting the electrical device (200), and said fastening portions (121-127) enabling the wiring harnesses (W1-W5) to be guided to said electrical device (200) for electrical connection.

2. Support (100) according to claim 1, comprising a first plate (101) comprising at least one fastening portion 121, 122 and having a first edge (101a) on the first side of the support (100), said fastening portions (110) extending in a plane perpendicular to said first plate (101) and along the first edge (101a) of the first plate (101).

3. Support (100) according to the preceding claim, wherein the first plate (101) has a flat principal surface.

4. Support (100) according to claim 2 or 3, comprising a transverse plate (102, 103) extending transversely from an edge of the first plate (101) which is different from the first edge (101a) of the first plate (101) and comprising at least one fastening portion (123, 124, 125, 126).

5. Support (100) according to claim 4, wherein said transverse plate (102) comprises a curved portion (104) bent towards the first plate (101) and comprising a fixing portion (125).

A vehicle having an engine compartment comprising: an electrical device (200) including an interface side (201) having electrical connection parts (210); a support (100) according to any one of the preceding claims mounted on the interface side (201); and wiring harnesses (W1-W5) fixed to the support (100) so as to be guided respectively to the electrical connection parts (210) of the electrical device (200).

7. Vehicle according to the preceding claim, wherein the support (100) includes a recess (S) opposite the first side of the support (100) so as to permit the passage of a wiring harness to the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200).

Vehicle according to any one of claims 6 or 7, wherein the engine compartment comprises: - a support (100) according to claim 2, - a first wiring harness (Wl) being fixed by a first fastening portion (121) and a second fastening portion (122) of the first plate (101) so as to extend over the whole of the support (100) from a first lateral side of the support (100) to a second lateral side opposite the first lateral side, for the connection of an electrical connection portion (210) on the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200).

Vehicle according to any one of claims 6 to 8, wherein the engine compartment comprises: a support (100) according to claim 4, a second wiring harness (W2) being fixed by a fastening portion (123) of a first cross plate (102) and curved on an edge of the first cross plate (102) towards the interface side (201) so as to be guided towards the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200) to connect a connecting portion (210) to the interface side (201).

Vehicle according to any one of claims 6 to 9, wherein the engine compartment comprises: a support (100) according to claim 5, a third wiring harness (W3) being fixed by a fastening portion (124) of a second cross plate (102) and by a fastening portion (125) of a curved portion (104) of the second cross plate (102), so as to be guided towards the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200) to connect a connecting portion (210) to the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200).

A vehicle according to any one of claims 6 to 10, wherein the engine compartment comprises: a support (100) according to claim 4, a fourth wiring harness (W4) being fixed by a fastening portion (126) of a third cross plate (103) on a surface thereof which is opposite the first plate (101), said third cross plate (103) extending from a lateral edge of the first plate (101).

Vehicle according to any one of claims 6 to 11, wherein the engine compartment comprises: a support (100) according to claim 2, an ear L extending from the first plate (101) to a position having a height relative to the first plate (101), a fifth wiring harness (W5) being attached to a distal end of said ear (L) so as to be guided to a connection part (210) on the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200).

Vehicle according to any one of claims 6 to 12, wherein the interface side (201) of the electrical device (200) is parallel to a longitudinal direction (X) and a vertical direction (Z) of the vehicle, and the support (100) is according to claim 2, and the first plate (101) is parallel to the longitudinal direction (X) and a horizontal direction (Y) of the vehicle.
