Abstract

Flashing LED device incorporated into a ski pole. The invention relates to a device for illuminating light-emitting diodes (LEDs) incorporated on the shaft of the ski pole (6), allowing the user to signal their intention to turn to other skiers by applying light pressure to the switch (3) located on the handle. The ski pole, designed to enhance skier safety in both good and bad weather, now allows the user to signal their intention to turn right or left using flashing LED lights. This device provides safety for the user by preventing collisions with other skiers uphill or down the slope. The device according to the invention is particularly suited to beginner skiers, facilitating safe overtaking by experienced skiers. Figure for the abstract: [Fig 1]

Description

Title of the invention: Ski pole with flashing LED light device

[0001] The invention relates to a ski pole equipped with flashing LED light-emitting diodes allowing the user to be visible and safe during skiing activities.

[0002] Ski poles are not only used for support when taking a break, nor for standing up or taking off skis. This type of equipment is actually an essential tool for gaining traction on the slopes, stabilizing the ski when the skier makes a sharp turn, and helping them turn without sinking into the powder; but accidents between skiers are very frequent in winter sports activities, particularly due to a lack of vigilance and knowledge of the slope rules.

[0003] To combine efficiency and safety, the device, according to the invention, allows users to signal their intention to turn right or left to other skiers upstream of the slope, thanks to the manual LED flashing warning light, and thus minimize the risk of collisions. technical field

[0004] The ski pole is designed with a lightweight and durable material structure. It incorporates LEDs built along the length of the tube, offering a flashing lighting mode.

[0005] The stick is powered by a USB C rechargeable battery which is incorporated in the handle.

[0006] A push button is located on the handle and allows the LED to be activated when desired.

[0007] The user can signal their intention to turn to other skiers on the slope by applying slight pressure to the switch on the pole handle. Prior art

[0008] Lighting: High brightness LEDs for increased visibility.

[0009] Materials: Construction in aluminum or lightweight composite material. Resistance to water and shock resistant.

[0010] Power supply: Rechargeable lithium-ion battery with charge indicator.

[0011] Ergonomics: Non-slip “index plus three fingers” or “four fingers” handle for a comfortable grip with adjustable wrist strap. Benefits provided:

[0012] Increases skiers' caution during their activities and contributes to accident prevention. Night hiking, mountain activities, walks, sporting events and use by rescue workers. (Possibility of integrating a locatable tracker). Technical solution:

[0013] A ski pole including a flashing LED light device.

[0014] A rechargeable and environmentally friendly power supply.

[0015] An ergonomic design promoting comfort and safety Brief description of the drawings

[0021] 6 represents in cross-section, the flashing LED luminaire tube. Description of the implementation methods

[0022] With reference to these drawings, the ski pole is designed with a lightweight and durable material structure. The upper part of the tube (6) is transparent to allow visibility of the flashing LEDs. The device (1) contained within the handle (2) consists of a battery (5), an electronic module (4), and a switch (3). The input terminals of the electronic module (4) are connected to the battery (3). The switch (3) is connected via the output terminals of the electronic module (4) to the LED light. The user can, with light pressure from their hand, activate the flashing LEDs (6) to signal and make turns safely.

Claims

Demands

1. Ski pole characterized in that it integrates LEDs of different lighting modes (continuous, flashing and coloured) along its length and in that its handle includes a switch (3), an electronic module (4) and a battery (5).

2. Ski pole according to claim 1, characterized in that the LED lighting device is powered by a USB C rechargeable battery (5).

3. Ski pole according to any one of claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the ski pole is equipped with a locatable tracker to prevent loss of equipment in the snow.
