Abstract

Software adaptation method for motor vehicle Software adaptation method for pre-existing software (30) implementing a functionality independently and autonomously, to make it compatible with a software architecture (20) in which each functionality is implemented via at least one dedicated application and a plurality of components performing common processing for the different functionalities from data from at least one sensor of a motor vehicle and controlling at least one actuator of the motor vehicle, each functionality being a driving assistance or autonomous driving functionality of the motor vehicle, the method comprising the following steps: putting the input and output data of the pre-existing software (30) into the format supported by the software architecture (20);and / or adapt a communication logic of the pre-existing software (30) to a communication logic used by the software architecture (20); and / or order the interactions between the pre-existing software (30) and the software architecture (20), to allow the pre-existing software (30) to transmit a command intended for one or more actuators (21) of the motor vehicle through the software architecture (20). Claims

driving or for the autonomous driving of a motor vehicle, designed to operate independently and autonomously, to become compatible with said software architecture (20), and to operate as an application of the software architecture (20), so as to transmit automatic maneuvering instructions, such as braking or changing direction, to said motor vehicle.

Vehicle according to the preceding claim, characterized in that it comprises several applications integrated into said software architecture (20), and one or more pre-existing software (30), connected to said software architecture (20) via the software adaptation component (10), these applications and this or these pre-existing software (30) being capable of transmitting maneuvering commands to the motor vehicle according to an arbitration of a trajectory planning module (7) forming a component of said plurality of components performing common processing for the different functionalities.
