Abstract

Email Server and Processing Method The invention relates to a server (SV1) and an email processing method, the server cooperating with client terminals (CL) of a local network (NT2).The process includes: receiving an email (MG1) containing header data (MG1a) and email body data (MG1b); generating, from the email, a header file (FL1a) and an email body file (FL1b); determining, from the header data, an identifier of an associated project mailbox (BP1); determining, for each file (FL), a network location (EM1a, EM1b) associated with the project mailbox (BP1) according to location data (DT1); selecting a client terminal as the agent terminal (AG1); and sending, to the agent terminal, the files (FL) and save commands (C1a, C1b) specifying the respective network locations (EM1a, EM1b) of the files, these commands causing each file to be saved in a file system (20) of a local file server (SV2).
