Abstract
A charging device for at least one first aircraft electric battery (80) is proposed. The charging device is configured for onboard installation in the aircraft and includes a first DC power bus (14) for supplying a first electric propulsion unit (15) and for connection to the first battery, and a first AC-DC power converter (12) connected to the first bus. The charging device further includes a battery bank (13) connected to the first AC-DC power converter to supply an alternating voltage to said converter, and a first main contactor (11) connected to the battery bank and the first AC-DC power converter and configured to disconnect a first electrical connection interface of an aircraft turbogenerator (27) from the battery bank and the first AC-DC power converter.
