Description

Title of the invention: Reversible bag having thermal properties enabling it to perform cooking and / or cooling functions technical field

[0001] The present invention relates to the field of cooking appliances.

[0002] The present invention relates more particularly to a bag having properties thermal devices enabling cooking functions (slow cooker) and / or keeping things cool (cooler).

[0003] The object of the present invention will find many advantageous applications in the field of camping equipment, hiking and outdoor activities (golf, scouts, etc.).

[0004] The object of the present invention will find other advantageous applications in other fields such as catering, humanitarian aid, and the armed forces. State of the art

[0005] We know of the ECOCOTTE® bag which offers an insulating system based on sheep's wool to retain the temperature of food over a long period and thus cook it slowly at a low temperature.

[0006] We also know of the WONDERBAG® bag which, like the ECOCOTTE® bag, is presented as a non-electric eco-slow cooker by allowing low temperature cooking.

[0007] On the other hand, the Applicant considers that these solutions are not fully satisfactory and do not meet the expectations of users: the known solutions provide a cooking solution only and do not ensure the function of keeping cool.

[0008] Object of the invention

[0009] The present invention aims to improve the situation described above.

[0010] The present invention thus aims to solve the various problems mentioned above by offering a reversible bag whose innovative design gives it thermal properties enabling it to perform cooking (slow cooker) and / or keeping cool (cooler) functions.

[0011] The solution: Create innovative products made from recycled plastics.

[0012] 70% less energy for cooking

[0013] Reduce the time spent actively cooking and consuming energy (gas, electricity, charcoal, wood) by up to 70%.

[0014] Upcycling of non-recyclable materials

[0015] Reversible bags offer the opportunity to be made from 100% reused materials which would otherwise be burned or go to landfill.

[0016] Job creator

[0017] By producing the bags locally, the Applicant makes a positive contribution to job creation in the textile and recycling industry.

[0018] 60% less indoor air pollution in developing countries

[0019] The cooking bags are complementary to any energy source used, thus reducing pollution caused by toxic combustion gases. The bag remains cool on the outside and produces neither heat nor smoke. No risk of burns!

[0020] Characteristics:

[0021] The reversible slow cooker / non-electric cooler bag:

[0022] Foldable, washable and made from recycled materials! Developed for cooks, chefs, women, campers and anyone who wants to embark on a culinary adventure.

[0023] How does it work? After bringing a pot of food to a boil and placing it in the bag, the food will continue to cook for up to 12 hours without an additional heat source.

[0024] It also works like the coolers you normally use, just put your cold or iced drinks and food in the bag, and they will stay iced for 12 hours!

[0078] Sew each pocket right sides together, leaving a 17 cm opening on the longest side. See diagram #3.

[0079] Turn the work over and fill each pocket with 80 g of stuffing,

[0080] Close the opening and sew 0.5cm from the edge.

[0081] Finally insert into the side pockets of the taupe canvas bag. 1. Assemble the outer bag as follows:

[0082] Assembly: [Fig.5], 6 and 7. [Fig.5], [Fig.6] and [Fig.7].

[0083] Overlock the two circles of 93 cm in diameter in a thread of the same color.

[0084] Assemble the two 93 cm diameter circles wrong sides together, and stitch a circle 30 cm in diameter (base of the bag) in yarn of the same color starting by following seam #1 on the pattern and leaving a 17 cm opening to insert the 240g / 2L ecru canvas padded cushion.

[0085] Insert the 30cm diameter ecru canvas disc made previously.

[0086] Close the base of the bag by sewing the missing 17 cm opening.

[0087] Now, sew the side spokes of the bag in a straight line of 24 cm from the inner circle (base of the bag) following Seam #2 to #13 of the pattern. (See [Fig.6]).

[0088] Partially sew now seam #14 of the pattern 6 cm from the edge so as to be able to insert the side pockets (see [Fig.7]) [Fig.7] and make sure to leave an opening of about 15 cm.

[0089] Fill with the 8 ecru canvas pockets (See [Fig.8]) - [Fig.8].

[0090] Close and sew the 15cm opening (See [Fig.8]).

[0091] Place the handles between the two pieces of fabric (wrong side) and fix on only one side of the taupe fabric (inside of the bag, where the saucepan will be placed later), and sew about 0.3 cm inside the handles all around the edge and make cross stitches for added strength.

[0092] Make a small inner hem 10cm long by 2cm wide for the cord to pass through on the outer edge of the taupe fabric.

[0093] Next, create an inside hem all around the bag, 3cm wide, and sew. Leave a 10cm opening (at the small hem) for the drawstring.

[0094] Insert the cord.

[0095] Sew the clasp to an 8 cm piece of handle.

[0096] Finally, finish the cords (end pieces) - [Fig.9].

[0097] Suggestion 1: tie a knot at the end of each cord 2cm from the edge.

[0098] Suggestion2: Take a rectangle of taupe canvas fabric for finishing.
