Some human behaviour can be harmful. For example, some unconscious or compulsive behaviours can be damaging or harmful to a person’s physical and / or mental health. It would be desirable to mitigate such human behaviour. 2. An apparatus (10) as claimed in claim 1, wherein the means are configured to:receive sensor data (18) from at least one sensor; anddetermine that first behaviour by a user (11) of the device (12) is occurring or is going to occur based, at least in part, on the received sensor data (18).
3. An apparatus (10) as claimed in claim 2, wherein the received sensor data (18) comprises at least one of motion data of the user (11), environmental data of the user (11), physiological data of the user (11), and location data of the user (11).

An apparatus (10) as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the means are further configured to:cause storage of behaviour information of the user associated with a plurality of episodes of the first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12); anddetermine that first behaviour by a user (11) of the device (12) is occurring or is going to occur based, at least in part, on the stored behaviour information of the user.
5. An apparatus (10) as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein determining whether there is information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future comprises querying at least one local service (20) authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16).
6. An apparatus (10) as claimed in claim 5, wherein the at least one local service (20) comprises a background application (22).
7. An apparatus (10) as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein determining whether there is information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future comprises querying at least one remote service (24) authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16).
8. An apparatus (10) as claimed in claim 7, wherein the at least one remote service (24) comprises a cloud service (26).

An apparatus (10) as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein the means are configured to, if there is no information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future, request at least one local service (20) that is authorised by the user to provide notifications (16) and / or at least one remote service (24) that is authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16) to produce information (14), the information (14) to enable a notification (!6) regarding the produced information (14) to be presented to the user (11) to interrupt the first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12).

An apparatus (10) as claimed in any preceding claim, wherein causing presentation to the user (11), using the device (12), of at least one notification (16) regarding the information (14) comprises causing presentation of at least one notification (16) without delaying that at least one notification (16) in a queue for later use.
11. An electronic device (12) comprising an apparatus (10) as claimed in at least one of claims 1 to 10.

A method (300) comprising:determining that first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12) is occurring or is going to occur, the first behaviour comprising an unconscious and / or compulsive behaviour;based, at least in part, on determining that the first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12) is occurring or is going to occur, determining whether there is information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future using the device (12);if there is information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future, accelerating presentation to the user (11), using the device (12), of at least one notification (16) regarding the information (14) to interrupt the first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12).
13. A method (300) as claimed in claim 12, the method (300) comprising: receiving sensor data (18) from at least one sensor; and determining that first behaviour by a user (11) of the device (12) is occurring or is going to occur based, at least in part, on the received sensor data (18).
14. A method (300) as claimed in claim 13, wherein the received sensor data (18) comprises at least one of motion data of the user (11), environmental data of the user (11), physiological data of the user (11), and location data of the user (11).

A method (300) as claimed in any of claims 12 to 14, the method (300) comprising:causing storage of behaviour information of the user (11) associated with a plurality of episodes of the first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12); anddetermining that first behaviour by a user (11) of the device (12) is occurring or is going to occur based, at least in part, on the stored behaviour information of the user (11).
16. A method (300) as claimed in any of claims 12 to 15, wherein determining whether there is information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future comprises querying at least one local service (20) authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16).
17. A method (300) as claimed in any of claims 12 to 16, wherein determining whether there is information available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future comprises querying at least one remote service (24) authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16).

A method (300) as claimed in any of claims 12 to 17, the method (300) comprising:if there is no information (14) available that is to be presented to the user (11) in the future, requesting at least one local service (20) that is authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16) and / or at least one remote service (24) that is authorised by the user (11) to provide notifications (16) to produce information (14), the information (14) to enable a notification (16) regarding the produced information (14) to be presented to the user (11) to interrupt the first behaviour by a user (11) of a device (12).

A method (300) as claimed in any of claims 12 to 18, wherein causing presentation to the user (11), using the device (12), of at least one notification (16) regarding the information (14) comprises causing presentation of at least one notification (16) without delaying that at least one notification (16) in a queue for later use.
