Abstract

A method for operating a braking system of an at least in part electrically operated motor vehicle by an electronic computing device, and a computer program product, non-transitory computer-readable storage medium an electronic computing device for carrying out the method. The method includes: determining a driving profile of a driver of the motor vehicle, for example using an artificial neural network trained on historical driving behaviour (driving style, driving habits); S11: determining a first value of a first braking torque at a friction brake of the braking system; S9: determining a second value of a second braking torque at a regenerative braking system of the braking system, depending on the determined driving profile; and S14: generating a first operation signal for the friction brake depending on the determined first value and S13: a second operation signal for the regenerative braking system depending on the determined second value. The method may also take into account the current and / or future route of the vehicle, the current state of the friction brake (e.g. wear) 32, and / or the current traffic situation.
