Claims

1. A system for providing high-speed communication on a high-speed railway, which includes internal and external data transmission networks, whereinthe internal data transmission network combines a first and a second tail radio frequency module installed in a tail of a train, a first and a second head radio frequency module installed in a head of said train, wherein all the radio frequency modules are equipped with narrow-band antennas, and a switching equipment capable of processing signals from the first and the second tail and head radio frequency modules and providing network devices connected to the switching equipment with access to the external data transmission network;the external data transmission network combines base stations with narrow-band antennas, wherein the base stations are able to establish communication with the tail and the head radio frequency modules of said train and are installed along a route of the train in such a way that the location of the base stations relative to a railway gauge provides for direct visibility between the antennas of the base stations and the antennas of the tail and the head radio frequency modules installed on the train; wherein:the antennas of the base stations and the radio frequency modules installed on the train are tuned to emit radio waves in the range of short millimeter waves;the first head module and the base station closest to it located ahead are capable to establish a first communication channel between them, and the first tail module and the base station closest to it located behind are capable to establish a second communication channel between them;the second head module and the next base station, which is located ahead of the train, are capable to establish a third communication channel before the train has passed by the base station closest to the first head module;the second tail module and the base station, which is located ahead of the train, are capable to establish a fourth communication channel once the train passes by this base station.

2. The system according to claim 1, wherein the base stations are placed on supports of a railway overhead system.

3. The system according to claim 2, wherein the base stations are placed on the supports between a boundary of the railway gauge and the nearest supports of the railway overhead system.

4. The system according to claim 1, wherein the base stations are networked by a fiber-optic communication line.

5. The system according to claim 1, wherein each base station and each of the radio frequency modules installed on the train consists of several devices that provide switching, 5 routing, reception and transmission of radio signals.
